Listen to the Buddha's words to get rid of all troubles. “The World-Honored One is truly the one who has eliminated many sufferings for us. The Blessed One is really the one who has brought us much happiness. The Blessed One is really the one who has eliminated many unwholesome dharmas for us. The Blessed One is indeed the one who has brought us many good dharmas.” The above confessions are the feelings of Bhikkhu-stilts Udayi about the virtue of the Buddha's precepts, after having experienced many troubles due to his lack of temperance. Having personally experienced and realized the many troubles created by the arbitrariness in daily life and behavior, can I feel the love and thoughtfulness of the Master, which is expressed through the regime. His education was quite strict, especially the fact that he was interested in molding every little bit of daily life habits for his disciples. Buddha promulgated precepts, stipulates a disciplined life for monastics, nothing more than to bring freedom and peace to their students. In the method of training disciples, the Buddha paid attention to establish precepts for monastics, really to help individual bhikkhus to practice the doctrine of liberation, that is, to live a disciplined life. It is convenient for the practice of body and mind to attain peace and liberation, and to keep the actions of body, speech and mind in accordance with the Noble Eightfold Path. The basis of the Buddhist precepts is the practice of "lack of desire and tribulation" in order to prevent and overcome wrongdoings or bad habits that interfere with one's own progress and avoid causing trouble for others. or for collective life. Human wrongdoings or negative habits are rooted in greed. For example, due to the indulgence of sensory desires or the demands of the body, people are greedy for food; due to the stimulation of the feeling of being praised and flattered that people race to dress up... Seeing clearly the troublesome potential consequences of such habits, the Buddha paid attention to training his disciples in a way of life that would help them become self-sufficient. overcoming and eliminating negative desires, he trained his students very carefully, even stipulating that they should dress modestly. Of course, people who know how to control themselves, live with a lack of passion and contentment, do not have many requirements, are not demanding, are less busy and busy, are not bound by desires, are always at peace and feel. free. The Buddha called such a disciplined life as Pàtimokkha, which means getting rid of the pain and suffering caused by wrong behavior or the habit of negative desires. Pàtimokkha also means "separate liberation", implying that overcoming a desire will bring a person liberation or freedom, because no longer that desire dominates causing wrong actions to lead to. suffering consequences. The Buddhist precepts are to live a peaceful life, which has the ability to eliminate sufferings, and bring people freedom and serenity. In our daily life, we encounter many troublesome things that are, after all, caused by the habit of desire. Eating alone can bring us a lot of trouble if we can't control our preferences. Eating, which is a fairly simple thing in daily life, has become a concern for us today. with many people for many subjective and objective reasons. Habits of enjoyment make today's consumers feel uneasy when faced with the reality of unsanitary and unsafe food that continues to dominate and dominate the market by profit-hungry businessmen. "This is born, that is born", the habit of enjoyment has stimulated the habit of deceit. With the experience of the Enlightened One, the Buddha pointed out that life is just a series of habitual behaviors that, if molded, become unpretentious, simple and elegant. From dressing to thinking, speaking or acting, all are habits that can be molded and adjusted in a good direction. Having conquered all desires, the Buddha also trained his disciples. have the habit of living in moderation and behaving properly. He appreciates each individual's will to self-regulate, experienced a life of liberation and peace and wished to share the experience with others. Therefore, the Buddha's word is a practical way of life that is "practical in the present", in order to see "become self-understanding by those who have knowledge". Therefore, those who know how to listen and practice according to the Buddha's words will definitely experience freedom and benefit. The following story of Bhikkhu-stilts Udayi tells us that the Buddha's word is a practical lesson that we who know how to listen and practice will avoid many troubles and troubles arising from habits in daily life. daily: "World-Honored One, while I was in solitary meditation, the following reflection arose in my mind: "The Blessed One is indeed the one who has eliminated many sufferings of Dharma for us. is the one who has brought us much happiness in the Dharma.” World-Honored One, in the past, we used to eat in the afternoon, in the morning, daytime and timeless. World-Honored One, at that time the Blessed One called the monks in and said, "Monks. Abandon eating during the day without time.” Venerable sir, among us, those who look at the Blessed One with admiration, reverence, and esteem, immediately abstain from eating during the day. Then, venerable sir, we usually eat in the afternoon and in the morning, Venerable Sir, at that time the Blessed One called the monks in and said: "Bhikkhus, give up eating at night without time."... World-Honored One, among us, those who look at the Blessed One with admiration, with reverence and with precious hearts, abstain from eating at night without time. In the past, the World-Honored One, the monks used to go for alms in the dark night. They mistakenly walked into a puddle of water, fell into a puddle of water, went into the wrong hedge of thorns, and went to the wrong cow. sleeping, encountering all kinds of bandits who have acted, meet unjustly solicited women. Once upon a time, World Honored One, I went for alms in the dark night. A woman who was washing dishes, saw her child in a flash of lightning and panicked and shouted: "Oh terrible for me, there is a demon following me." World Honored One, when I heard that, did I tell you? That woman: "Hey sister, it's not a ghost, this is a Rat-stilt standing begging for alms." Father Bhikkhu-stilts die!! Mother Bhikkhu, please die! It would be better for you, bhikkhu, to cut your belly with a sharp butcher's knife, than to go out for alms in the dark of night." Venerable Sir, when I remember this, I think as follows: "The Blessed One is indeed the one who has eliminated many sufferings for us, the Blessed One is indeed the one who has brought us much happiness. The Blessed One is really the one who has eliminated many unwholesome dharmas for us. The Blessed One is indeed the one who has brought us many good dharmas..” END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.3/1/2023.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
