What is a foot step. In the Ten Essentials of the Buddha's Recitation, Zen Mind Patriarch said: "In order to clarify what true cultivation is, along with the qualifications of a true cultivator, please cite a passage from the verse of the formless form, the Dharma Bao Dan Sutra of the Sixth Patriarch: If you are a true cultivator/ You don't see the faults of life/ If you see other people's faults/ If you criticize yourself, it's bad!/ If people are bad, we don't bother/ I criticize, I blame myself./ Want to destroy afflictions/ Get rid of the mind Thi Phi / Love and hate do not mind / Lie down with your legs straight and rest! The children of the Buddha either ordained or stayed at home, all consider themselves as religious practitioners. But how do you know who is a true monk or a fake monk? Regarding this, the Sixth Patriarch gave a very simple way of testing. He said: "If you are a true practitioner, you will not see the faults of the world." But indeed, the true cultivator always looks at himself to correct his mistakes and stays in samadhi. To put an end to the ego-discrimination, there is no mind to think about the good or bad of people! The pseudo-cultivator, on the other hand, is more self-centered than jealous. Opening your mouth is criticizing, saying good and bad things about the world. Far away from the Tao! * Therefore, when we still see people's faults and then scornfully criticize them, of course we show that we are bad first. Because the mind is still confused and discriminating, lacking the virtue of wisdom and compassion, it will attract guilt later. People harass people, let's not disturb. Should learn the intellectual level, so that the heart is as clear as a mirror. The coming is not anticipated, the past is not longing. Spiritual clarity is equal everywhere, there will be infinite miracles! If you act jealously, speak scornfully, then your inner true nature is polluted. The outside is exposed to hatred and dispute, more and more mistakes and sins. So if you want to be at ease from afflictions, don't criticize people's wrongdoings. The sentence "Let's remove the mind of the market" also has a deep meaning: Except for the four owls, absolutely not. "Lie down with your legs straight to rest", ie the realm of great liberation, just for the study is finished: When you're hungry, eat, when you're tired, lie down and sleep! True practitioners must be strict. True practitioners are usually those who keep their precepts extremely strict. Always take a firm and wise stance and don't care about external praise and hate. As in the past, Zen master Nghia Thanh, after attaining the Dharma with Mr. Phu Son, went to live in the temple of the Venerable Vien Thong Tu. Although he was in the assembly, he did not meditate and ask for the Way, just lying down and sleeping every day. The deacon brought the matter back. Venerable Vien Thong took the staff to the Sangha, saw the monk lying down with his eyes closed, and rebuked: "There is not enough rice here for the monk to eat and sleep!" The Master said, "Then what did the monk tell me to do?" Inquiry: "Why don't you go and meditate?" A: “Good food does not help a person who has eaten enough.” The Venerable Master said, "There are many people who are not satisfied with the Venerable Master." The Master said, "If I am content, what will I get?" Seeing the unusual words, Mr. Vien Thong asked: "Who have you consulted?" A: "I came from where Mr. Fushan came." The Venerable Master said: "No wonder you are not stubborn!" They held hands and smiled, then walked towards the staff. * After Nghia Thanh Zen master joined the Dharma for Mr. Dau Tu Ngung. On the fourth day of the fifth month, the sixth Yuanfeng year of the Song dynasty. The Zen master took a bath and then went to the dharma court to bid farewell to the people. After saving the verse, immediately let go of the pen. Like Nghia Thanh, Zen master with such a liberal manner, living and dying freely, did he understand the sentence: "Love and hate do not care. Lie flat with your legs resting”?.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNMAESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.14/3/2023.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
