Understanding the short life is understanding the Way. During the journey of turning the wheel of Dharma, the Buddha repeatedly tested his disciples' cognitive ability and understanding of the Way, from which there were practical teachings, encouraging them to be diligent on the path of practice. RELATED NEWS In the pandemic season - staying in the Dharma and receiving the power of the Tathagata Tam without smuggling, studying the Fourteenth Chapter, Chapter 38, the Buddha asked the recluses: "Human life exists For how long?”, the recluse finally replied that human life exists in one breath, praised by the Buddha for understanding the Way. Indeed, people mistakenly believe that human life can last up to 60, 70 years or more. Even many ascetics of the Buddha's time, even though they understood the impermanence of life, thought that a human life lasting a few days or a meal was too short, so they still did not really understand the Way. Human life only exists in one breath. Breathing out without breathing in is another life. Accidents, diseases and many uncertainties lurking threaten human life, death can come at any time whether we like it or not. According to the Buddha, a person who understands the Way must be someone who understands the "principle of impermanence" - the constant change and transformation that governs all things from the body, mind, to the environment. Impermanence is the mysterious key that opens the door to enlightenment. Buddhists must understand that life is short and lasts only for a moment. The impermanence of life changes so rapidly that it cannot be discerned by the naked eye. To understand like that is to grasp the principle of impermanence and understand the Way truthfully. Tao here means awakening, which is the correct recognition of the law, the impermanent nature of all things. Human life is also subject to this objective influence. Impermanence happens in every moment. It is not when we close our eyes that we die, but we die moment by moment. To Quy Son, when he warned the post-schoolers, also pointed out: "Contemplation of speeding up, one moment of time, turning immediately means rebirth" (One thought follows another extremely quickly, in just a moment , changing the breath is passing another life). Life changes so quickly, with such a short existence, only those who understand the Way can clearly reflect on that. Buddhist teachings are the truth of life, requiring us to practice, reflect to realize, not just "go around and talk about it" (Nguyen Lang). When one understands that human life is short, contemplating the impermanence of the body and life, that person eliminates the error of the body (body view), clearly sees the real nature of the body as impermanent, non-self, thereby diligently practicing. , break the chains of bigotry, put out the fire of affliction, wade upstream of ignorance. Thus, that person will take a great step forward on the journey to find the true identity. The Buddhist scriptures also affirm that, those who realize the right view of the principle of the moment of impermanence will attach themselves in the practice and restrain the ego: "The biological medicine is impermanent, suffering, and subject to change, in every moment. -na… (hence) fear in biomedical medicine”. Those who understand the impermanence of life will strive to eliminate craving, keep a calm mind in the face of unexpected changes, do not seek temporary pleasures, but practice to obtain true happiness, peace, and liberation. . The Buddha commended those who understood the Way to understand that human life existed in the breath. It can be said that this is a very subtle and skillful way of education of the Blessed One, praising a person to encourage everyone. Surely we still have an old age to practice or death has cruelly knocked on the door when we were still in our youth? Human life is short, early and dark, in a moment it is another life. Knowing this, we already have insight knowledge on the path of practice. Understanding the short life, each person is more diligent in practice, actively saving birth, spreading the Dharma, living fully in every present moment.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.29/7/2021.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
