King Asathea heard that the Buddha was about to enter Great Nirvana and went to say goodbye to the Buddha. Asa-tha did not want the Buddha to go, because the Buddha was the only light. He then replied:
“The one who is known as living has wisdom, absolutely not afraid of life and death. This body will eventually disintegrate, but the sound of my Dharma sound, the scriptures I taught will forever sparkle in your mind.”
Asathi asked the Buddha to give him an opportunity to serve him in the last days on the road to Nirvana, but he refused because he had to worry about the country of Ma exhausted momentum (Mangada).
One of the mysteries of life is to be free from fear, not to worry about the future, not to dwell on the pain of the past...
The Buddha went to the layman Thuan Da (Cunda) to give his last sermon.
In marriage, equality is most important. A family where husband and wife know how to love and harmonize will have a prosperous life. This prosperity can spread to make people feel happy. In the world the husband and wife union goes beyond material, physical desires. The wife is a part of the husband's body, the husband should give his wife respect and honor, should not lose face in front of everyone, the wife does not violate the woman's morals, the husband also lives a worthy life. husband, avoid bad habits. Every decision the husband thinks of the wife's wishes, love is also the wife's responsibility. Seeing her husband's family as her own family, playing the role of a loving and caring destination for each member of her husband's family, respecting each other as valued guests.
To be able to come to the unsurpassed truth, one must be near good people and create favorable conditions for cultivation. The mind will be pure and unadulterated. Being around people who don't focus on mindfulness can easily make you lazy.
The profession also needs to be in accordance with the Dharma, no matter what profession, in business or other small things every day, it must first be understood clearly and then devotedly to complete it.
To be a human being must be humble, polite, friendly and upright. Do not live selfishly, only know yourself. If there is an opportunity, it is necessary to make offerings to the place of monks or practice meditation to eliminate worries and troubles. In the end, your soul will feel unsurpassed tranquility.
Every morning we open our eyes in the dawn of a new day, we need to be aware of what we have to do, which is very important. People often forget to give thanks, people must inscribe in their hearts what they are indebted to such as trees, wind, water, air, which do not belong to us. Always carry in your heart the gratitude to live and think like that, we will reap more good things, isn't it useless, if everything is useless, then we will all get sick.
After the last lecture, he ate rice at Cunda's house, after eating half of the mushroom dish prepared by Cunda himself, the sky was stormy and lightning, the Buddha felt stomachache. He told Cunda to bury the remaining mushrooms in the ground, not to give them to anyone to eat. His Holiness said that this was his last meal and that Cunda should be honored to have served it.
On the way, he became severe stomach pain, he rested under a tree waiting for Anand to fetch water to drink, when he took his bowl, the dirty water also became clean. Since the last meal was the last, there were two meals that he did not forget: the meal before meeting the supreme truth and the last meal before entering Nirvana.
When he reached the city of Mala, the Buddha came to the forest of Sala - his last stop. The Buddha is lying with his head facing north, leaning on his right hip. He told Master Anand to go to Kusinara and tell King Malla that this very night, the third watch, the Buddha would enter Great Nirvana in his forest.
The Buddha told his disciples the last thing, if you want to show respect and love for us, then bring the right Dharma to apply to your spiritual life, every minute, every second, be mindful.
Anand was sad, cried a lot, did not want the Buddha to enter Nirvana. The Buddha comforted Anand, life is the way to death. When the water is big, there will be water. There is no way to be born without death. The Buddha entrusted everything to Anand.
The Buddha entered the realm of meditation and taught some of his great disciples the final lessons:
“My path is not to take you away from life. I believe that people can change when exposed to the good or evil deeds of others. Hope for noble souls. The fate of people's lives is determined by the karma they create. We are born on earth, all feelings are suffering, samsara in the world, full of suffering and sorrow . This world is not a place for suffering. This world is the place to live and nurture the enlightened one . But the enlightened one needs to be aware. Now it is your responsibility.”
“Ignorance gives rise to suffering, sorrow, and delusion. Anger, greed, conceit, conceit, and jealousy all arise from "ignorance" that arises. Illusion will lead people down a bad path. Although they are two generals, life and death have no difference, but only one body.
“We are thwarted by misconceptions. Once all obstacles are removed, our entire life will be completely independent, without dependence and without entanglement.”
“Sila, Concentration, Wisdom, and the Eight Right Paths can destroy all kinds of wrong perceptions. Right View, Right Thought, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness, and Right Concentration. The night is long and deep for the sleepless, the long way is long for the tired legged, and for those who live in confusion and do not understand what the Dharma is, their whole life will be full of suffering and unhappiness. ".
“Any kind of knowledge, whether you read it yourself or listen to the explanations of the wise, even what I say, should not be believed in haste. You must use your knowledge and wisdom to contemplate, then analyze and experience. If you meet anyone on the path of truth, you should not rush to accept it, even if it is a Buddha, do not consider it to be an end point. Even if he meets his father, he must not leave the main road. Your life, firmly in the palm of your hand, don't depend on anyone else."END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDA.( 3 TIMES ).BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL.GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.12/7/2021.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
