Buddhism is built on three basic principles that are Buddha Dharma and Sangha. The Sangha is the most important factor determining the survival of Buddhism. Regardless of the country and time, the Sangha is still shown as a group of harmony, purity and nobility. The Buddha taught that: "Againing in unity, communicating in unity, and disbanding in unity, it is a strong union." Because the nature of solidarity is the factor that makes people closer, more sympathetic and loving to each other. This is also the element of achievement in every job. When people know how to put themselves in the position of others, they will gain sympathy and share with each other, knowing how to take the ideas of others as their own. On the contrary, everyone only thinks for himself, cannot reconcile with others, that is the cause of failure. hurt. Therefore, harmony is a very important factor to build a better and more meaningful life. And the effective method to achieve unity and harmony is nothing better than the practice of LENG HOA. That is the same topic that we will come to you with this morning's catechesis. B. CONTENT I. DEFINITIONS Green is six, harmony is harmony, harmony, and respect. Six ways of living bring harmony, love, and sharing with each other from material to spiritual. The Dharma of Luc Hoa was said by the Buddha to teach his monastic disciples to take it as the basic foundation for the community life in the Sangha, to bring harmony, respect, happiness and peace. . Harmony with the goal is to progress to the nobility, to the path of liberation, to perfection, to perfection, not to be in harmony with weakness and passivity. It is these 6 dharmas of harmony that make the Sangha harmonious and pure. Luc Hoa includes 6 things as follows: 1. The body is in harmony; 2. Peace of mind without competition; 3. Italian approval; 4. Seeking conciliation; 5. About the harmony of practitioners; 6. Loyalty of the army. When the Buddha was still in the world, the activities of the Sangha in the first 12 years had not yet been subject to precepts. The masses live only according to the Law of Luc Hoa. Therefore, it can be said that the Law of Luc Hoa is like a basic precept of monastics, so everyone needs to practice. This Law of Luc Hoa was taught by the Buddha to his monastic disciples. However, in terms of nature, this Law of Luc Hoa is not only applicable to monastics, but it is meaningful to all those who want to have the heart to build a moral life for themselves and their families. social community. These six dharmas of harmony have the power to dissolve all conflicts between individuals and individuals, This collective community with other collective communities in life co-exists from material to spiritual. According to the Mahayana Meaning Chapter, the meaning of Luc Hoa brings peace and does not create defilements. The sustainability of the Law of Luc Hoa must always be expressed in respect. Therefore, success to bring peace must have peace and respect go hand in hand. Therefore, the Law of Luc Hoa is also known as the Six Laws of Peace. II. PRINCIPLES ABOUT THE FRENCH FRENCH 1. ORIGIN The first six dharmas of harmony were spoken by the Master under the title of Luc Trong Phap in the Sangha Nhat A Ham Sutra and the Six Dharma Commissioners in the 52 Middle Ages Sutra, the 196 Chau Sutra. Na, brought out by the Master to teach Venerable Ananda and Sa Di Chau Na, the two of them came to report to Sa Di Chau Na's hearing about the case of Ni Kien Than Tu teacher and student, after his death and heartbreaking scenes among his disciples occurred. The divergence comes from the individual egos that are exploded from the psychological inhibitions that they once harbored, which are expressed through actions against each other, no one listens to anyone. They fight, sue, enmity, argue with each other. The white-clothed people at home, the disciples of Nirvana Than Tu, seeing such scenes, they were all discouraged and shunned the disciples of this Nirvana. Because what the disciples of their Master say are all evil laws, not the dharma of liberation, not leading to Right Enlightenment, nor the teachings of the Good One. It is corrupt, untenable, helpless and reliant. Because the teacher they worship is not the Tathagata, the Unforgivable, the Perfectly Enlightened One. At that time, Sa Di Chau Na with the venerable Ananda went to the Blessed One and presented the matter as above. That's why the Buddha said the Law of Luc Hoa, because he wanted his students to always live in peace, expressed through mutual respect and gentleness. Then the Buddha taught his disciples: "When I am out of my shadow, you live in harmony, joy and no dispute, united in one mind, united in the same teaching, in harmony as water and milk, live in peace as when I was on earth." Also according to the Sutra of Sang Nhat A Ham 29, section Luc Trong Dharma, the Master taught the monks: "You should meditate on the six great dharmas, respect, respect, and keep them forever in your mind not to forget them. .” Between the two versions of Central A-ham and Tang Nhat-A-ham, although the terms are not the same, the content is the same. Through time, The two texts spoken by the Master are different, but the content and meaning are the same in terms of leading the practitioner to the purification of the three karmas of body, speech, and mind. Those are the essential elements in a living group if you want to become peaceful and happy right now. According to Abhidharma's Ten Divinities Commentary 15, these six peaceful dharmas are the Six Fascinating Laws and were presented by Venerable Sariputra. This is what the Venerable Master himself once heard teaching, the meaning is not different from the Six Dharmas of Peace, although in terms of usage, there is a difference in word usage, but the content is the same in terms of practice. The three karmas to become pure from material to spiritual are skillfully combined in manifesting through the collective life of the Sangha, creating peace and happiness in unity and harmony leading to a life of nobility. peace in the final liberation. 2. WHY DOES THE BUDDHA SAY THE LENGTH FIRE? Discord is the cause that leads people to separate, if they do not want to stay together to make each other miserable. If the family is not reconciled, the body will separate. If the neighbors do not get along, they will sue and kill each other. If the country is not at peace, wars and riots will be born, and people will suffer. If there is no harmony in the Sangha community, the practice will not achieve peace and liberation. There is a saying that "do harmony is precious" means that peace is precious. The book of Confucianism also has a saying: "Heaven is not as good as earth's advantage, and bad as it is in harmony". That is, favorable times are not equal to favorable terrain, favorable terrain is not equal to human heart and mind. Therefore, we realize that peace of mind is a very important thing. III. MEANINGS AND COMPOSITIONS OF LENGTH CONTINUES 1. COOPERATIVE RESIDENCES Is living together every day in an organization, we should take care of each other. Must take care, share each other in all work. Do not live in an eccentric way, do not have bureaucratic arrogance, know how to blend in, cooperate with everyone, do not live in a frame, isolate, then cause cracks and dents the emotional relationship with the Dharma Lu dong sect both in front of and behind, to form a relationship of mutual affection, mutual love, mutual respect and mutual harmony. Thus, this principle is considered to correspond to the "Partners of Photography" in the Four Photographys, and is also the secret to peace and happiness. For those who go home, the "four sea brothers and sisters". Although they are not blood relatives, they share the same ideal of serving and liberating, or "referring to the Buddha Way, lowering sentient beings". Therefore, living together in a Zen Mon place should not be divided into factions, regardless of the North - South region, always love, care, sympathize and encourage each other in the path of professional cultivation. Must take the spirit of harmony as the first, not causing suffering to each other. If living together has harmony and joy, the practice will make progress and bring true peace. If they are brothers, spouses, and children in a family, they must be in harmony above and below, with respect from above and below, but not disorderly. In a family, husband and wife and children each only care about living separately for themselves, each person lives with a separate world, that family will become lonely and unhappy, it leads to separate paths, what everyone does, no longer care about each other. If a family adopts harmony and co-existence, that family will increase their intimacy and closeness, forming the glue of faithful happiness. If neighbors are neighbors, it is also necessary to show mutual affection, willing to share difficulties, help each other, turn off the lights at night. That's why people often say: "sell distant relatives to buy close neighbors". Especially for Buddhists who practice together under the same ashram, what would that ashram look like if there was no harmony? Therefore, as a Buddhist, it is important to take harmony as the first, to love and care for each other like children of a single family. Do not compete for more than lose, do not compete for the first place, must apply the spirit of self-discipline, be aware of their responsibilities and duties, must know how to yield in the spirit of harmony, then they will be dignified and pure. help us easily sublimate on the path of practice. “Each person, each country, each child, until he or she enters the religion, is the son of one family.” If compatriots in one country, they must take unity as the first, not cause a scene of skin and meat disturbance, divide the years and split seven, leading to the destruction of war. In general, if people live together in a group, in a situation, in an environment, they must always be in harmony, understanding and sharing with each other. 2. UNDERSTANDING FIRE EXPORTS To be in harmony with each other, each person must keep his or her own words in their mouth. Therefore, the second thing of the Law of Luc Hoa is to harmonize with the mouth without arguing. Must be cautious and tactful in words, limit all arguments and always respect and listen to others. That is the trend that we must follow when implementing the "competitive peace of mind". In daily communication we use mild and polite words to lead to harmony without controversy. The Buddha taught in the Anguttara Nikaya: "Disciples must remember that, in any condition, our language must be mild, self-indulgent and undisputed." The Voice of Peace is based on the truth, does not lie, does not tell lies, do not speak two tongues, do not speak cruel words. Always keep a happy and peaceful attitude in the group, to create a nice friendly atmosphere. This second principle means Harmony on Speech, always using lovely words, creating true love for listeners. Should use words that are honest, straightforward, and loving, not divisive and hateful, but constructive and conciliatory; does not cause cracks, chipping between the connections. Do not use stabbing words, sarcasm, and fighting each other to lead to war. With the meaning of this Dharma harmony, we should "speak like the Dharma and be silent like the Dharma" (Middle Sutra, Biblical Prayer). This second principle is considered to correspond to "Love language photography" in the Four photography of Dharma. In a monastic community, We should not for personal gain but have words that hurt others, make people sad and miserable. If we bring people joy, we will have another joy, otherwise, if we make people suffer, we will also suffer, because the law of cause and effect never works. Even if you are a person with authority like a parent or a superior like a director, you should not use harsh words to insult or defame your subordinates, making them sad and miserable. When Buddha was in the world, he also used harsh words to rebuke his disciples, but his words were derived from compassion, wanting his disciples to make progress. As for us, speech comes from anger, anger, or from self-protection, so we often cause others to suffer. We emit evil speech with 2 errors as follows: 1. Making people sad; 2. Create a career for yourself. Therefore, Buddhists are always careful in what they say. Because for Buddhists, speech is an expression of loving-kindness. Words must be with the meaning of building up, encouraging each other, getting rid of evil together and developing good. If there is a problem, if you want to discuss it properly, you must also use peaceful words to reconcile everything. When anger utters evil words, it is like a nail in a tree, although the nail has been withdrawn, the mark of the nail remains. The person who emits bad words, upsets others, even though he apologized, he also left a pain, inferiority complex, or hurt in that person's heart. So Buddhists need to be careful in what they say. You must think carefully before uttering a word. To have a right speech, we need to keep mindfulness for ourselves. Because when we have mindfulness, we will control all our actions, not letting bad things happen to the three karmas. In order to perform loving speech, it is necessary to meet the elements that in the example sutras on the Saw Sutta, page 21, page 277, Central Division 1, the Buddha gives the following: "Speak at the right time, don't speak at the wrong time Speak words. Be truthful, do not speak falsehoods Speak softly, do not speak harshly Speak beneficial words, do not speak vain words Speak out of kindness, do not speak out of anger." Right speech closes important role in life, so grandparents advise their children and grandchildren to: "drink your tongue seven times before you speak." The Buddha also taught us: "No matter who's saying, as long as it's true and true, just believe it and practice it." Therefore, all words that are correct, reasonable, and beneficial to all sentient beings are right speech. These words we must believe and practice saying them right. The Buddha also clearly taught the importance of speech in the 100th dharma sutra: "Even if you speak to him with a thousand words, nothing will be of benefit Better than one sentence of meaning, you will be at peace" Don't think that you can't talk back to others. so don't say it. Harmony here it comes from the mind. If the mind is happy, the words that come out are also happy. Therefore, the third thing that needs to be reconciled is the consent to approve. The practice that leads to body and mouth harmony is not enough. Therefore, from the body and the mouth must come from within our mind, which is harmony. 3. AGREEMENT AGREEMENT Harmonize on the principle of Will. In the community of disciples of the Buddha, the harmony of will, thoughts and aspirations, is considered a very important issue. Once people have given up their family ties to go home, there is no greater joy than the joy of the Dharma group, sharing sorrows and joys with each other. Do you know, inside the Buddha's door is a world of people who strive day and night constantly to cultivate talents, cultivate virtues to be worthy of a master who shows the way to heaven and earth. Going back to the past, we see that the roof of the pagoda and the Buddha's door have always been the place to save talented people, contributing to the defense and construction of the country. Looking at the history of the Dinh - Le - Ly - Tran dynasties, we will see that clearly. If it is not a place with a strict educational tradition, how can Vietnamese Buddhism record such shining golden pages of history. Because Buddhism is an organized community of people who are awake, happy to live in friendship, regardless of the problems of gain and loss, and they always live happily with everyone's joys, sad with pain. love of life. In each of us, each person has a different perception, but the important thing is the goal of going to the common success of the team in a positive and developing spirit. We all agree with each other's good ideas, and don't give birth to jealousy and hatred. Always respect the opinion of others if their opinion is correct. If because of fear of authority, they have to draw, then that peace will at some point explode, leading to discord, which is even worse. Must be sympathetic and think good things about each other, not jealous. There are people who are in harmony but not in harmony. That is, face to face, not content, and when something does not like each other, they are ready to fight each other to the end. Once the inner conflict has reached an intolerable level, it will come out through actions and words. People's intentions are more important. If the mind is pure, then it emits pure speech, gestures, and actions, in accordance with the Dharma. If the mind is polluted, then speech and action will be emitted. Therefore, Buddhists must always keep mindfulness. You must take everyone's opinion as your own. To live in harmony with each other, people lower their egos a little, to receive good things and good intentions from others. If someone takes his ego too seriously, then they will never absorb the opinions of others, because they always see themselves as right, above all else. Such people are difficult to improve themselves. We need to practice the spirit of “always listening, always understanding.” If we know how to listen to the voice of the masses, we will improve ourselves faster. Because in everyone there is good, take everyone's good to learn, then that good will become your good. If you want to have a harmonious mind, you have to practice happiness and equanimity. Joy and equanimity means letting go of sadness, anger, not clinging to the mistakes of others. When there is sympathy, forgiveness, there is harmony of mind, then our soul will be relaxed and happy. 4. KNOWLEDGE CONTRACT Interpretation is knowledge of learning. That is to bring what we know to share and sympathize with each other. Living together, each person understands something, discovers something, should explain it to others. Let's find solutions together to get to the good. Knowledge capital is the property of each individual, for the sharing of knowledge, of course, not everyone can agree. However, here we should understand that the true value of the collective life does not lie in the knowledge and benefits for oneself but the sharing in a spirit of harmony. Conciliation and reconciliation means harmony on perception, not only supporting each other in material life but also helping each other in spiritual life in terms of knowledge, knowledge and understanding. Buddhism is recognized as the religion of wisdom and compassion; that is why even the Buddha, He also did not monopolize the truth of enlightenment, but he taught that: "I am the Buddha that has become accomplished, you are the Buddha will become"; Becoming a Buddha first or becoming a Buddha later has the same meaning, which is enlightenment of the truth, freedom from all the consequences of life's suffering. Buddhists should teach each other and understand the Buddhist scriptures; Those who know first have the duty to paint only for the last to understand. Share for each other to practice together. Contributing, building each other on ways of thinking, doing... All must be based on the right view. Seeing that, the new level is not different. For Buddhists who practice in an ashram, when they learn something from a teacher, they must also share it with everyone in order to know, understand, and practice together. Not being narrow-minded, holding your own opinions as private property. If we do not explain to each other, then we are a selfish person. It also creates a blockage between knowledge and between empathy for others. Create discord, division, conflict with each other, resulting in each person seeing and thinking differently. Thus, causing confusion, suspicion in the group, creating discord, and people do not know who to trust. In a collective or a nation, everyone is in harmony and willing to share experiences, new perceptions, and new discoveries, so that the new society will develop and prosper. Thanks to the Conciliation Ant, each person clearly sees their own weaknesses that need to be worked on, and clearly sees their own progress that needs to be developed. If opinions disagree, do not respect and reconcile with each other, many difficult things will happen and hinder all problems, leading to stalemate and downfall. 5. We also know that any organization or association has its own rules and laws. In which, Buddhism is a community organization with a strict and strict precepts, but has a preeminent quality over other social organizations as well as other religions. or authoritative creed promulgated by some supreme being, or some legal absolutist, as a method of the Buddha's community of disciples, and it is these methods that help them eliminate the afflictions of bad habits, practice transformation to achieve a peaceful and happy life. During the Buddha's time in the world, the fetters and regulations of doubt, he did not impose, but based on the principle of "depending on the law", that is, in reality what events caused instability, unhappiness for individuals and communities, the Buddha based on that established the Precepts. Therefore, the precepts are considered as a fence, a safe protection for the holy life, a life full of holiness, helping all lay Buddhists as well as monastics to transform their afflictions and sufferings. escape all the consequences of greed, anger, delusion, ... towards purity, compassion and wisdom. Therefore, all disciples of the Buddha must be careful, considering it like a boat that crosses the ocean of worldly suffering, aiming for liberation to come. Buddhist precepts are also a safety barrier to protect moral character, prevent wrongdoing, and eliminate evil (prevent only evil). Moreover, the precepts of Buddhism are the moral and ethical foundation; In addition to sanctifying for individuals, they are also considered as sublimation principles for the social community. In the spirit of Dependent Origination and Selflessness, Buddhism believes that the individual cannot be separated from the community, and the community is not apart from the individual; Therefore, the purity of the individual's personality is the sublimation and prosperity of the organizational community. On the other hand, "Precept" is not only the precepts of monastics, but can be understood more broadly as all the norms and standards that people in a family or a group must follow. In any mass organization, there are rules and regulations of that mass organization. If you live without obeying the rules of that organization, everyone lives, no one listens to anyone, then no matter how strong that group is, in a short time it will also disintegrate. . Buddhism is no exception. The Buddha's disciples, living together in a group of monks, If they receive the same precepts, they must practice together. When we keep the precepts, it is to bring purity to ourselves and to others. The precepts of the Buddha, although there are many different levels, are generally for the purpose of bringing peace and purity to the Sangha. Everyone, according to their level of precepts, together observe and practice together according to the common precepts that have been set forth. Must respect the precepts received. Keeping the precepts not only increases the kusala dharma for oneself but also keeps the purity and happiness for others. If in the same level of cultivation, those who keep the precepts and those who do not keep them will create an unsafe, impure, and incoherent group, which will create conflicts among the masses. The Buddha taught: "When Buddhists live together, they must keep the same precepts, keep the precepts of your rank.” In short: In a group, regardless of religion or life, if we do not together maintain the precepts, discipline, and general rules of the group, we will never live together. Therefore, if Buddhists want to practice together in harmony, each person needs to keep the same precepts. 6. LOI OF THE MILITARY CONTRACT Harmony on the principle of Benefits. For fellow Dharma travelers in a community of Buddha's disciples, all benefits from material as well as spiritual are shared equally; know how to yield, not compare, calculate; not envy, jealousy, enmity, fighting for rights and benefits. Because all the things that the monks are using are mostly from the happy offerings of the donors. So when everyone receives anything, it should be divided equally. Do not abuse common property. Don't be selfish or take a lot of yourself. It is not for personal love that the few are divided, the good and the bad. Equity must be taken into account. This method for people can not bring all assets to divide equally, because each person has to work according to his or her own more or less to get benefits in life. But Loi is in harmony with our army, it is understood here that if everyone is in a group or a company, if in the business, profits should be divided equally, because everyone has contributed efforts. into it. You should not feel that you have that and then don't share the benefits with everyone, but enjoy yourself alone. Doing so will create discontent within the group and will also cause controversy. Therefore, in the process of working, we must know how to share in all difficulties as well as in rights issues. In another aspect, we understand that the benefit of harmony is that everyone must share in all the difficulties of life. If I have a bowl of rice to eat, I should also make a bowl of porridge for others to help them live through the day. We see that the Central region is prone to many natural disasters and floods that make the people there, no matter how hard they try, in the end they do not have food to eat in the days when storms and floods are raging the people there. At this time, the help, sharing rice and clothes is very important and very necessary. Because we Vietnamese people have very good proverbs and sayings that "good leaves cover torn leaves, or torn leaves cover broken ones"... This is also the expression of the spirit of Luc Hoa in Buddhism. IV. BENEFITS WHEN PRACTICALING THE LETTERS OF THE LENGTH We see that the Spirit of Six Peace in Buddhism is not only applicable to those who practice liberation, but it also brings countless benefits to the nation, to human society. People. For more than 25 centuries, the Six Harmony has always been the standard of monastic life, helping to maintain harmony and happiness in life in the Sangha. Monks, regardless of any age, feel that it is not a hard and dry principle, but a way of life, a beautiful way of life, with a rational love. During the Buddha's time in the world, without the application of the Six Peaceful Laws, the Sangha would not be able to stabilize order and go into order in a proper way, when class distinctions are a custom (or determination). regime) in the Indian society of that time. For the Sangha community during the Buddha's time on earth, He did not use authority to dominate, do not use his power to tempt nor use grace to reward, but there are tens of thousands of monks and nuns living in harmony all over India. Although there are people of many castes living together, from the lowly caste being the poor barber like Mr. Ca Lettuce, Mr. Ananda… but everyone can live together and practice to attain holy status, all thanks to the application of this spirit of the Six Harmony. Not only that, if we know how to apply the Six Harmony glasses appropriately in our daily lives, we will certainly also achieve harmony with everyone around us. In the history of Vietnam during the Ly and Tran dynasties; From the king, the mandarins to the whole people, in harmony and harmony, Knowing personal sacrifice, solidarity will create the strength to defeat foreign invaders, creating a heroic history page of the Vietnamese nation. If this Law of Luc Hoa is applied in the process of the Church's activities, the Buddha's work will certainly be a great success. And the Church's contribution to the nation is truly fulfilling. Because Buddhism is not ahead of the nation, not behind the nation, not to the side of the nation, but Buddhism officially goes in the heart of the nation. History shows that Buddhism never goes against the interests of the nation. Because: "My Vietnam, my Buddhism, I have two but a beautiful love." For Buddhism, inside always take the spirit of solidarity, harmony and liberation as the basis; outside, taking the spirit of service, contributing to the construction of society by means of preaching, charity, and building people's hearts as the goals of its activities. Therefore, Vietnamese people always respect and preserve the beauty of Buddhist culture as the meaning "the roof of the pagoda protects the soul of the nation". In a country, if we can apply the above 6 methods of harmony, that is, living together in the same country, we must know how to love, care for each other, and protect our homeland together. Everyone should encourage each other to uphold the current law, encourage each other to practice, and cultivate morality. Know how to learn together, improve cultural level, expand knowledge. The rich must know how to help and share with the poor. If the country knows how to apply these 6 methods of peace, it will surely build a peaceful and prosperous country. For Buddhists, if the practice of the Six Harmony is properly applied, the practice will quickly progress, the path to liberation is closer, and the realm of Ultimate Bliss is not just an aspiration. For family, people cannot have their own happiness if each person does not know how to create a harmonious and cohesive living environment together. With that importance, it is very necessary to educate Luc Hoa into the lives of all classes, including schools, because Luc Hoa plays a very important role in the moral education of each person's personality. solve the urgent problem of conflict of society and especially the school violence that is taking place every day in today's young generation. C. CONCLUSION Buddhism has a long history of formation and development. When it was transmitted to Vietnam, through many ups and downs of history, the Vietnam Buddhist Church appeared with the motto "unity, harmony, nurture the religious mind, dignify the church, propagate the Dharma for profit, implement the the motto of dharma - nationalism - socialism. "Contributing to the general development of the country and affirming the value of Buddhism in the hearts of the nation. Each Buddhist child needs to apply the spirit of Luc Hoa into the common sense of activity for the Church and take the practice and cultivation of Taoism as his own career. Together, take the mission of spreading the Dharma to build and develop the Church. I think that is also a task that is not too far away when we try and persevere. I hope each Buddhist will together apply the spirit of Luc Hoa thoroughly, to bring benefits, happiness and peace to themselves and to everyone. Every family is a cell of society. With a good family, the society is peaceful, so the spirit of Luc Hoa is indispensable for all people living in a society. In general, the spirit of Luc Hoa is the secret of noble behavior of all individuals, is a beautiful way of life to build community life. These six principles of harmonious living are not only applicable in Zen Mon, but they are applicable in every family, school and any social organization. Therefore, Luc Hoa Dharma is indispensable for people who want to build a good life. "Peace is an incomparable power. It's hard to succeed in everything. Six elements to remember this is the foundation for building peace." If we practice the above six things thoroughly, then in a family, agency, enterprise, and union, we will have harmony, peace, happiness, and especially for the increasingly sublimated Sangha lifestyle. on the path to liberation. Harmony has two meanings: 1. Harmony: Upholding the responsibility of the Sangha's lifestyle, must strictly adhere to the law of harmony. This is the first and fundamental stage of practice to achieve the view of the path. In other words, the personality of the Sangha life originates from the six dharmas of harmony. 2. Harmony: That is, co-existence of the truth as, it can be said that a person always lives according to the Law of Luc Hoa, never bothers others, that person has fully accomplished the virtues, ethics, and morals. virtue. The Buddha taught: "Where there are six peace, there are bodhisattvas living, depending on the conditions to save sentient beings, guiding them to sublime on the path of enlightenment." It should be said that with Luc Hoa, there is Nirvana liberation, with Luc Hoa, there is no longer any shadow of afflictions and struggles. The Six Harmony is the six building blocks of the Sangha, an organic element used to foster the growth of the ancient tree of the Sangha. A society that takes Luc Hoa as a standard and a measure of life, a golden society, is the best glue for solidarity and harmony in the collective, is a model model for any organization that wants to survive. Vietnamese Buddhism with the slogan: "Unity and harmony, nurture the religion, dignify the Church". Promoting that tradition, creating a harmonious combination between the Dharma and the Nation, contributing to the construction of a prosperous country, a peaceful and peaceful world, unity from will to action and work. "Friendly, co-workers in the same place, speak and practice together, exchange ideas, peace and joy, before the precepts of peace, keep the Sangha strictly, make peace for the sake of the law, profit, profit, peace, harmony, and sharing." LESSON 2 A. INTRODUCTION In our life, no matter how a group, a country or a religion wants to survive and develop, there needs to be a specific method for internal consolidation, in order to define towards development and building a more perfect life. Because of, In the daily co-existence of mankind, discord is inevitable and very harmful, it causes people to divide and separate. Recognizing the dangers of discord as well as the benefits of gentleness, which are very important and necessary in collective life, the Buddha invented the Six Harmony Dharma. The purpose of the Buddha inventing the Law of Luc Hoa is to strengthen the development and activities of the Sangha and it is also the first foundation for the Buddha's disciples to practice, so that the collective can be harmonious and peaceful. practice together to achieve the goal of peace and liberation. B. CONTENT I. DEFINITIONS Green is six; Harmony is harmony, harmony. Six methods of dealing with each other for harmony from material to spiritual, from words to deeds. Harmony here is harmony with the goal of progressing to nobility, to the path of liberation, perfect and perfect, not in a weak, passive way, everyone listens to what they say. Draw here is also not a means in the period to withdraw victory to yourself, then fight again. Harmony here aims to benefit all, bring happiness to all, in which there is a shadow of "self and forgiveness", there is no comparison of "me and people". Luc Hoa is the six arts of living in harmony, loving and caring for each other from material to spiritual, from how to organize discussions to the dharma; These are the six principles of harmonious living that the Buddha taught the monks in order to lead a peaceful life and the prosperity of the Sangha. All live together peacefully under the home of Zen. Six peace is the cause, the method of practice to achieve peace. The Six Harmony not only brings a good life to monastics, but is also the basic foundation of Buddhism. This is also the first Code of the Sangha when the Buddha did not make the Precepts, because in the first 13 years, the Buddha did not make the Precepts, the monks based on these 6 rules still lived in peace and purity. The content of the Law of Luc Hoa includes 6 things as follows: 1. The body is in harmony: there is harmony, reasonable accommodation, good accommodation. No. 3. Precepts of harmony: together keep a common precept, abide in precepts, keep pure precepts. 4. Harmony of the army: sharing the benefits. 5. Italian harmony approval: stay in mind karma, harmony and unity. 6. Ants of reconciliation: together with fellow initiates nurture the holy knowledge leading to the separation of suffering. The World-Honored One taught the venerable Ananda: These six dharmas of harmony will lead to reunion, non-dispute, harmony, unity and bring people peace and happiness for a long time. II. The cause of the Buddha's Law In the Central Sutra I, Kosambiya Sutta 48, page 500, it is taught that: When the Blessed One was still in the world, when he was living in Ghosita Vihara, in the city of Kosambi. Here, His disciples, they live not at peace with each other, arguing every day, back and forth, they fight each other with weapons of the tongue, neither of them give in to the other and in the end go away. to hurt and quarrel with each other. Because they wanted to have a life of mutual love in the community of Sangha, there were a few monks who presented this matter to the Blessed One in order to ask the Buddha to advise him. Taking this opportunity, the Buddha taught the monks the six dharmas of harmony so that the monks could live a life of mutual love, respect, harmony, and agreement. III. CONTENTS AND LEGAL MEANINGS 1. If you live together in a family, an organization, a collective or a temple, living together like that, you must know how to get along with each other, work together, be self-disciplined, and have a sense of responsibility. themselves, willing to share difficulties and help each other, not to shy away from heavy and light, not to split into factions, factions, classes, races, colors, religions, or rely on weakness. At the same time, distribute accommodation and accommodation facilities evenly and reasonably so that everyone has a place to sleep and have the same study facilities available. If this division is disproportionate and unfair, it will create inequality and lead to mutual conflict. In fact, in everyday life, when people live together in a community or a collective, it is difficult to avoid conflicts and disagreements. There is nothing more harmful than discord, because it is a boil in life and the cause of people's separation. The ancients used to say, it is impossible for a bowl to be upside down in the village without the sound of rattling. Likewise, it is difficult for people to live together to avoid words. However, if we know how to yield, respect above and below, listen and share in the spirit of harmony, all will be favorable. Harmony here is harmony with the goal of progressing to nobility, to the path of liberation, perfection, perfection, not harmony, weakly, passively, whoever says wrong will also say yes. must be a means in the waiting period, then war again. But the virtue of meekness here is intended to benefit all. When Buddha was still the Crown Prince, he lived according to the royal system with a regal throne. But when it came to ordination, he abolished all castes, mingle with fellow ascetic companions, without setting yourself up as a future crown prince or king. Therefore, the Buddha has shown the spirit of "harmony" very boldly and specifically. Therefore, we are both lay Buddhists as well as monastics living together under the same roof of a temple, a roof, although we are not blood relatives, we are also common children of the Buddha, sharing the same aspiration. The goal and ideal of liberation and enlightenment must take harmony as the first, should not divide factions, rely on strong and weak, and bully her, expressed exactly as the folk saying: "Each person, each country, each young When you enter the Buddha's door, you are an only child." 2. Harmony of speech is unmatched. A person with a high degree of patience can easily practice peace of mind, because people are in pain and argue more than they do, so it is necessary to cultivate patience. In the Dhammapada Sutta, the Buddha said: "O Rahula! Any words that are beneficial for yourself, for others, for all sentient beings, you should say. Don't say any words that harm yourself, others, or all living beings." Speak to each other in a gentle, polite, gentle, modest, and humble manner. argue, loudly. Buddhists should clearly know that "painful parts export", know that the sound of language is impermanent, always keep their oral karma pure, it is better to recite a Buddha's sentence than to let loose a slander or harm to others. others. In life, many relatives and friends are at peace, but their speech is at odds, losing each other's words, trying to sarcastically poke each other, eventually giving birth to discord. This situation is very, very sad, from discord between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law to couples going to court for divorce, Brothers and sisters separated, father and son did not look at each other, teachers and students avoided each other, becoming strangers to each other. That's why Co Duc has a saying: "Who is willing to bend the sentence, who is wise, to speak harshly to each other". Or: "Speech does not cost money to buy Choose words that please each other Speak noble words Gentle gentle gentle any sentence is fine". Usually, when people are at odds with each other, they love each other with weapons of their mouth, they utter cynical words that make the other person suffer, even despair, lose their lives. But in doing so, the loser suffers, the winner is not happy. Not to mention the karma that person suffers from sowing evil words. In the Buddha's teachings, practitioners must use words of peace to resolve disagreements that arise. Speak softly and peacefully without being untruthful, speak "in the middle" without "disobeying" and say it at the right time. King Pasenadi exclaims when he once came to the vihara to pay homage to the Blessed One: “Venerable Sir, the Blessed One is a Perfectly Enlightened One; The Dharma is skillfully taught by the Blessed One; Sangha, Buddhist disciples well practice. I see kings quarreling with kings, Kingslayers quarreling against kings, friends quarreling with friends. And here, I see bhikkhus living together with loving eyes, I don't see any other holy life so perfect and pure." So for a Buddha's disciple, whatever happens, the language must be gentle and courteous, speaking like the Dharma, and being silent like the Dharma, only then will it bring peace and happiness to all. chief. The practice of Body Harmony - Speech Harmony - must come from the mind, if the mind is in harmony, it will lead to harmony in body and speech. Therefore, the third law of harmony is "It is harmoniously approved". 3. The mind of harmony browse Always keep the mind in harmony and sympathy with each other in common joy. It is the joy of living together in the true dharma (dharma bliss), the joy of having the same ideal towards liberation and enlightenment. This is the great joy that covers all differences in status, circumstances, fame, marks, possessions, possessions. With an egoless mind, monastics in communication and Sangha activities are always happy with fellow students, Dharma practitioners, sharing and listening to the feelings and circumstances of others. Whereas secular people go into groups, if they don't practice selflessness, they will be present wherever they are, just wanting to be happy for themselves, but regardless of others, just want everyone to respect and treat them special. Because of that, it is also difficult to create "a peace". Folks often say: "nine people and ten ideas" sounds simple, but it is extremely difficult to harmonize and agree. Because each person has their own ideas, how can they be reconciled? So, If you want peace, there is no other way than to ask each person to love each other, to be tolerant, understanding and forgiving of others. Only when there is sympathy and forgiveness can there be harmony in mind. Peace of mind must also be sincere, coming from the bottom of the heart. If there is forced harmony, that harmony is like a layer of glossy paint applied to a rotten log, at some point the hidden conflict will be revealed in words or actions, as well as Like a piece of wood, when it rots, the beautiful paint is gone. In fact, even within each of us, there are sometimes contradictions, the past thought is different from the next, because: "A person's will consists of two When happy when angry, unpredictable change Hastily when you hate when you love when you're happy when you're sad when you're sad" So, The Buddha taught that each person must always keep his or her mind pure, do not let it start thinking bad and evil things that cause discord and division with each other. If so, then you, your family and the society will have a harmonious, peaceful and happy life together. 4. The community of fellow practitioners We often hear: "The country has no law, the country is riot, the house is without the law, the house is dead. The union without the law, the union is disbanding Religion without the law Religion doesn't exist" Referring to "the community of fellow practitioners", We often immediately think of the limitation within the monastic community. However, this concept needs to be extended to apply to secular life. “Precepts” are not just precepts of monastics, but can be understood more broadly as all norms and standards that people in a family or a group must follow. Understood in this way, in all situations, we all have different “skills” to follow. In the family, the family must follow the family rules, the general routine of living, and in the school, the rules of discipline must also be followed. Or when participating in traffic, we must also obey traffic laws... All those standards and standards are "gender", because if everyone in the same environment does not strictly follow the rules. With that standard and standard, it is inevitable that the collective will have to be confused and conflicted. For Buddhism, the Precepts are extremely important, the Precepts to help monks, nuns, and Buddhists have a good life, dignify themselves, and firmly walk on the path of peace and enlightenment. Precepts are moral laws that are seen as means to prevent and eliminate evil acts through body, speech and mind. Precepts are the life of the monastic, is the basis of liberation, keeping the precepts is to protect the three karmas for purity, is the foundation for gradually reaching liberation and enlightenment. There is a Precept. Because the Precepts are the foundation, the ladder leading the Buddha's children to the path of liberation and enlightenment. Depending on the base, one receives more or less precepts, at home, the Three Refuges Five Precepts, the Eight Quan Trai Precepts, the Ten Thien Thien Precepts ... all receive the Dharma precepts, but the purpose of maintaining the precepts is not beyond the meaning of purifying the body and mind. . The Buddha said: "If the precepts remain, the Buddhadharma will remain; if the precepts are lost, the Buddhadharma will perish." Each of us has the ambition to revive the Buddhadharma, to make the right Dharma eternal, our indispensable task is to maintain harmony and purity in the Precepts. In the Three Immortals, the precepts are at the top, the human world is born in concentration, destined to be blessed. In the three generations of Buddhas, relying on the Precepts, they achieved the unsurpassed Bodhi path. That's why it is said: Cultivating unsurpassed sensuality, Bodhichitta, and the observance of the Precepts. The precepts are weak, not strictly uphold the general Bodhi. 5. Conciliation and conciliation What knowledge is good or not hidden Together can only solve or add. One person preaches, everyone listens One person writes articles, all see. This life has countless things that others do not understand, the Buddha's teachings are also profound, each person's reception is different, so we should present our views for everyone to understand, if there is a mistake. modified together. Therefore, the exchange of knowledge with each other is the foundation for the development of human intellectual potential. The results we have achieved today will be outdated if we only know where to live. Especially in the treasure trove of profound Buddhist teachings, A person's understanding, no matter how profoundly intelligent, cannot be fully understood, so it is necessary to exchange knowledge with each other. Realizing this fifth element is that we have broken down the wall separating each person in the field of knowledge, built harmony, and brought knowledge and understanding to the service of human life. People. For Buddhists, it is advisable to share and exchange with each other in a harmonious way the understanding and experience in the practice of the Dharma. That knowledge and experience is not a private capital to preserve, but earn a living as professional professions of the world. Practitioners only have the knowledge and experience to practice towards the goal of liberation and enlightenment. That goal is not a small heaven or a small paradise where the first comers gain a good place, the latter suffer a disadvantage. Therefore, in the spirit of no-self, monastics who have any understanding or experience in cultivation and study also wholeheartedly share, discuss, listen, exchange, guide and encourage their fellow Dharma practitioners. with a spirit of reverence. The secular group that wants to apply the "conciliation view" must first practice selflessness, seeing that the world's knowledge and experiences are all common, not hiding any small or mysterious things for themselves. nurture and honor an impermanent illusory self. This seems to be very difficult to gain the approval of the secular point of view. Knowledge capital is the property of each individual, for the sharing of knowledge, of course, not everyone can agree. Here we should understand that, The true value of collective life does not lie in knowledge and personal benefits, but rather in sharing in a spirit of harmony. Therefore, we should express our understanding in the spirit of learning together, sharing together and being willing to help each other, enriching each other's knowledge to practice together. Only then will our common practice lead to a spirit of harmony and unanimity. On the contrary, if we are selfish people, it will cause division, discord... Currently, the country has been strongly integrating into the world, exchanging economic, cultural, scientific, education…, bringing great opportunities and challenges to the country in general and Buddhism in particular. Buddhism must play a very active role in solving social problems, contributing to the creation of peace in spirit and spirituality, and honoring high moral values. Therefore, the cultivation and learning of knowledge together is the foundation for developing human intellectual and moral potential. We are the people who are practicing the Dharma of the Tathagata, so we must be in harmony with love and respect, we need to receive reasonable ideas, right Dharma, suitable for the environment to benefit ourselves, for people, for society and for Buddhism. This is the spirit of progress, knowing how to receive rich knowledge, making the Sangha more and more improved in thought and life personality. With harmony in understanding, people easily sympathize and there are less unfortunate misunderstandings. Because the Buddha's teachings are like the deep meditation forest, the vast dharma pool, each person can learn a different aspect, find a meaning that may be right but may also be wrong, we must present the important points for everyone to see and understand. If there is a mistake, work together to correct or add, that is, to learn from each other what is good, willing to help, enrich each other's knowledge, avoid selfish cases that create a blockage between sympathy and understanding. , influence evolution on the path of cultivation. 6. Harmony of the army As we can see, the five factors above are the foundation for the development of harmonious Dharma. From body, speech, mind, and precepts to understanding have created for themselves as well as for the group the deep development of life, as well as spirituality, taking care of each other from material to spiritual, living together. common, not exclusively possessed, or devoted much of it to oneself. When it comes to profit, it is only for the benefit that we are receiving. In a temple or monastery, if anyone makes an offering, the monks and nuns share it equally, not many people, few people. The Buddha said: "Inherit the Dharma, do not inherit property”. Therefore, for a child of Buddha, it is advisable to consider material interests as a means of life. If we are not alert, this means often leads to disputes, conflicts, and disapproval. We should share our material interests in a reasonable, harmonious and joyful manner. To say "entitlement" here is to say it reluctantly. In fact, according to the traditional activities of the original Sangha during the Buddha's time, monks were those who abandoned their families, lived beggars, in addition to three robes, bowls, sitting instruments, crouching tools, needles, and water filters. , no other private property. Such a holy life, frugality and non-attainment should not discuss and think about rights or benefits as in the world. But in this day and age, the proletarian bhikshu is no longer relevant. Monks now live in monasteries, monasteries, socializing, We need things and money according to our needs, but the spirit is always the spirit of the proletariat, which means being ready to let go, give, and offer all that we personally hold. The monastic come and go in this world in a selfless, selfless, selfless way, so they can share, share, give, give away, peacefully, happily, without attachment. . Loyalty and harmony have a place called "common giving" – in this way, the community of Sangha can be understood as giving away what they have, not in order to gain benefits. Coming together is to give, to give, to practice letting go - also a way to gradually let go of ego. Without the spirit of selflessness, altruism, it will not be possible to fully practice "benefit and harmony with the army". This factor for the Sangha of Buddha's disciples, it is easy to divide and enjoy together in a balanced way. But what about secular? How can we share the benefits equally with everyone if others don't put in the same effort as we do? We need to understand that the true value of life is not in material values, but in the spiritual value of harmony and a life of love and tolerance for each other is the greatest value. Therefore, it is not necessary to divide the benefits into equal parts to be a draw. Normally, in a group, people consider their ranks and efforts to be evenly divided accordingly. The important thing before dividing, we have to make everyone get along and happy first. So harmony is harmony in fun, not waiting for the division to be equal parts called harmony. When there is joy and division, people do not think they are disadvantaged. For example: When parents divide property among their children, they must first make sure that their children are harmonious above and below, know how to love, give in to each other and be happy, then divide. If they are not happy, do not yield and hate each other, but divide, even if parents divide equal parts of the property, it will also cause discord and fight over stabbing each other. If we talk about living in harmony and sharing all material benefits with each other, most ordinary people will find it unreasonable, because it is clear that each person's ability as well as work efficiency All groups are not the same, how can they be shared equally? This principle can only be accepted when everyone's life is based on the standards of spiritual values such as compassion, patience... but not visible material values. The life of the monks completely meets that requirement. They all gave up the worldly life, let go of all material possessions of the world to enter the monastic life, a life without private property. The goal of their pursuit is not the ordinary material enjoyment, but the cultivation of a good-oriented spirit, cultivating all the virtues to reach a peaceful and liberated life. From that foundation, they can receive and practice the principles of harmony appropriately and effectively. This is the reason why from ancient times until now, the Six Peace Glasses have only been used mainly in the Sangha. Let's take a look at the profound meaning of Luc Hoa, on the one hand to praise the wonderful way of the World-Honored One to lead a harmonious collective life, and at the same time as a spiritual practice for each individual when entering the world. great sea of Sangha; on the other hand, also to arouse strong belief in the harmonious power of Sangha. That power can dissolve all differences, disputes, contradictions that no secular collective can do. That power, activated by just one idea: no-self. But that does not mean that ordinary people cannot see the positive value of the principles of harmony. The problem here is, in a life full of the sense of private property, we need to know how to apply them to suit the actual life of each person, in the family as well as in the social community to promote flower of his life. When we accept the Six Harmony as the guideline of our shared life, we will always aim for harmony. Even if we haven't really achieved harmony and shouldn't demand it absolutely, then surely we can always make life better and better, and the relationship between people and us is also growing closer and more empathetic. IV. APPLICATION OF LENG HOA IN LIFE In the family life of lay people, relationships are necessary for harmony and mutual respect. Because there is harmony, respect, love and care for each other, the family will be warm, happy and happy. An unhappy family is when there are discontents, conflicts, and conflicts that are dominating. Regardless of any aspect, to any degree, it is not advisable. Because of discontent, inner conflict will lead to conflicting actions, and a small disagreement can still lead to all sorts of conflicts. Of course, no one person is exactly the same in terms of personality, personality, level of understanding, thought and perception, but it is possible for people to sympathize with each other. And bad character can still be changed if people are determined to reform themselves. In Vietnam during the Tay Son Dynasty (1771-1802), two brothers Nguyen Nhac and Nguyen Hue fought each other for power. Nguyen Nhac was weak, had to cry to him: "The pot of skin cooks meat, how can my heart be?" So Nguyen Hue was touched and the two got together. In Binh Dinh province, whenever people hunt deer, they peel off their skins to make pots and cook meat. Therefore, there is a saying in Binh Dinh folklore: "If you cook venison with deer skin, you won't be touched by life's work like that. If the venison is cooked inside, the deer skin will also burn. Touched by Nguyen Nhac's words, the people of Binh Dinh put it into practice with a folk song: Your mistake is still you, Why is the pot of skin and meat disturbed, my dear? During the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945), King Tu Duc killed his brother, Hong Bao, to strengthen his position on the throne. One day, during an adoration, the king unintentionally let his teeth bite his tongue to make his courtiers make a play poem, but in the poem it was forbidden to use the words "Teeth", "Tongue". This is a poem by Mr. Nguyen Ham Ninh: "The birth of a child is a child, a child of a child is a son of a brother. Real resonant resonant taste orange; Ha ring mutual death bone humiliation love." => When I was born, you were pregnant, You were born after me, I am you. Sweet, do not think to enjoy together, flesh and blood have heart to end love. The king praised well, rewarded a word and a gold coin; but because the poem has the meaning of "hook", so punish each word with a whip. "The pot of skin and meat", "Teeth biting the tongue" These classic idioms all have the same meaning. We know that when living together under one roof, it is impossible to have separate happiness for each person if everyone does not create a harmonious and cohesive living environment together. Such an understanding is not strange, but it is the principle of "harmony in harmony" we have discussed. What's more, we can apply this understanding in our relationships with people in the workplace or whatever group we're in, which is very consistent with the psychological principles that psychologists use. Modern psychological education education for collective activities. As in a classroom, if the school applies the meaning of "harmony" of "harmony" to the school uniforms for students, it will help young people unite, get closer to each other, come closer to each other, not separate into many groups. due to different ugly, beautiful, luxurious and cowardly clothes. Young people need to be educated in the spirit of harmony and solidarity right now. Than live in the same house, village, neighborhood, country: "Sell distant relatives, buy close neighbors." or "Let's turn off the lights at night", but no longer in the case of something happening next door regardless, not interested in helping; or in a neighborhood, illegal construction encroachment, impede travel. Expressing peace of mind is that everyone knows how to be cautious and skillful in their words, limit all arguments and always respect and listen to others. Harmonious speech is not only necessary for a happy family, but also an essential element for any harmonious collective. With a practice ashram, or in group activities, during discussion and discussion, everyone should be educated on the principle of "Harmony", know how to express their opinions, but at the same time, they must respect the opinions of others, not to criticize, attack, etc.. The attitude of criticism and lashing only brings a heavy atmosphere, Discord for collective activities, and interfere with the content of the discussion topic. On the contrary, in the atmosphere of harmony and mutual respect of discussion, everyone will receive the feeling of peace and happiness of collective activities. Therefore, if we can always follow this trend in speaking and interacting with people around us, we will naturally contribute to creating a harmonious environment for everyone. Although we have not yet created a completely harmonious collective, the positive contribution of this tendency is undeniable. In the family, a good goal to aim for is family happiness. If there is no "Agreement to avoid avoidance", husband and wife always fight, children quarrel and do not give in to each other. Grandparents often remind: "It is wise to deal with outsiders. Chickens and mothers should not fight each other" Or "Rice boils to reduce the fire." Instead of uttering bitter, insulting words, hurting each other's heart, and denting family feelings, each family member speaks in a gentle, gentle, gentle way to care and advise each other. How does the ashram 5, 7 people selling watermelons and pears affect and sabotage other people's practice? In terms of ideas, we can't "Face and disagree", but care about helping and serving each other in work, creating consensus in all common family or collective work, that is to follow the principle of "consensus approval". We often hear the saying: "If the wife agrees to the husband, slaps the East Sea, the sea will also dry up": If there is a "harmonious opinion", not domineering, conservative, obstinate, respecting the opinions, thoughts and feelings of others, and not stubbornly defending one's own opinions, there will be no verbal fights. no conflict action. Whenever there is peace in mind, there is peace in speech and harmony in body. Must know how to control, control thoughts and actions, control emotions. Be understanding and forgiving. If everyone in the family follows this trend, no matter how difficult the work, we can overcome it together, and even if there is a failure, it will not affect the peace in the family. . Everyone knows how to take responsibility for themselves, not blaming each other, so there will never be blame for each other. Regarding "peace of mind" in the classroom, schools need to teach young people to be honest with each other, to accept each other, to respect each other, to build a spirit of harmony together. unite. With a sincere intention to build and study like that, the educational goals of the school will really be achieved. For a collective, or more broadly, a nation or a nation, this mutual attachment relationship is also an indispensable requirement to create harmony and solidarity. For our country, Vietnam's heroic history with its history of victory over foreign invaders, from ancient to present, has defeated the most powerful empires in the world thanks to the unity of the entire people. More than 2,000 years of accompanying the nation", "A page of Buddha's history / At the same time a page of Vietnamese history" (Ho Dzenh). The culmination of the "mind of harmony and approval" in the nation's history was shown in the war against the Mongol invaders (3 times defeating the Yuan army). Before the invasion plot of the Nguyen Dynasty became more and more obvious, October (1282) King Tran held a conference of Binh Than with the court and other kings to fight the enemy. The talented general Tran Quoc Tuan was appointed as the National Duke of moderation to command the entire army. The meeting of the royal princes in Binh Than had the purpose of "defensive planning" and "dividing troops to keep dangerous places". Although Tran Quoc Toan was still young, he could not attend the meeting and crushed the orange he held in his hand without knowing it. After that, Quoc Toan returned to form an army of more than a thousand people, bought weapons, built warships waiting for the day to kill the enemy to save the country. On the flag of that heroic teenager, there are 6 words: "Break the strong enemy, report the royal grace" (Break the strong enemy, repay the king). Then King Tran convened the historic Dien Hong conference, in order to mobilize the people's consensus against the enemy. The banquet was opened on the steps of Dien Hong Palace, the King asked the elders: "The enemy is strong, should we draw or fight?". The answer to King Tran's question was the chanting of tens of thousands of old men and women, "hit, hit", "thousands of people speak like from one mouth". The shouts of "Fight" by the elders at Dien Hong Palace showed the fighting spirit of the entire Dai Viet people. Elders, prestigious representatives of the people have spoken for the whole nation. As a result of "consensual approval", the Dien Hong Conference was a meeting of representatives of the whole people - unique in the history of feudalism in Vietnam. The elders brought to King Tran and the court the answer to the people's determination to fight on all roads throughout the country, and also brought from Thang Long to every countryside the atmosphere of the Dien conference's determination to fight against the enemy and defend the country. Hong and the determination of the Court. In the end, all three invasions, the Mongols failed and gave up their intention to invade the South. So, “Consensus approval” is the principle that should be followed even for the greater cooperation of nations for a stable peace, mutual development. The fifth principle is about gender. Every environment has certain “precepts” that need to be followed. When we talk about the principle of "communication with fellow practitioners", we often immediately think of the limitation in the scope of monastics. However, this concept can actually be - and should - be extended to apply to secular life. “Precepts” are not just precepts of monastics, but can be understood more broadly as all norms and standards that people in a family or a group must follow. In the monastic life, dharma precepts are the goal towards perfection. In family life, the goal is a happy life, satisfy physical and mental needs. UnderstoodIn this way, in every environment, in every situation, we all have different "precepts" to follow. When participating in traffic, we must obey the road rules; when working, must respect the regulations on labor safety; when returning home, they must follow the general routine of living in the family... All those standards and standards are "gender". Because if everyone in the same environment and situation does not strictly follow those standards and standards, it is inevitable that the group will be confused and conflicted. Laity people can also practice "The Precepts for Harmony and Cultivation" in the way of monastics to bring joy and happiness to their families, by practicing the dharma precepts with their inherent abilities and conditions. me. On the other hand, the concept of "tu" is not just for monastics. Tu means repair, is to correct the mistake, to make it better, to perfect. In that sense, we are all practicing, not just monastics. Only thing is that the monastics study according to their conditions and environment, their aspiration to escape the world. And we only practice to correct and gradually eliminate mistakes and shortcomings in our lives. Thus, the "compassionate practice" is also a very positive principle for our secular life. If everyone in the family or a group, an ashram... all strictly adheres to, respects the common norms, routines or standards and encourages each other to correct all mistakes and shortcomings, then the family or that collective will surely soon become a harmonious environment, bringing people together for mutual progress. "Peace" In a classroom, all students put themselves in a common school discipline, and make efforts to respect discipline and protect school discipline so that learning and teaching can be effective. In such similar living conditions, they are easy to get along with, get along and unite. The "peace" in an organization, company or enterprise is reflected in the members' compliance with the rules and regulations set forth by that organization. "Peace" in society is reflected in the fact that, if everyone lives and works according to the constitution and law, the society will be orderly and peaceful. In order to achieve good goals, people must put aside prejudice, narrow-minded selfishness and forget about self-interest. Only in this way can harmony, respect and solidarity be possible. In our family, father says one way, mother says another, children know who to listen to, is the father right or the mother right to listen? Therefore, "Conciliation and reconciliation" is a basic dharma that every Buddhist needs to know in order to keep the peace and practice diligently. In the relationship between everyone in the family, if we are always aware that the goal of a happy life is mutual understanding, face all disagreements to resolve together and lead a harmonious life together. , we will always stay away from the attitude of living aloof, lack of sympathy and cold indifference. In order to have the "Reconciliation Ant" in family life, it is necessary to get to know each other to easily sympathize with each other. Skillfully contribute ideas, listen and respect the opinions of others, exchange with each other, share thoughts and feelings to be able to accept each other and stick together. Living in harmony, respecting each other, loving and respecting each other is a cultural and ethical beauty that brings joy and happiness to the family. The spirit of "Peace" is very necessary in school. The difference in clothes is enough to make the youth separate into many small groups, let alone the difference in ideology or belief. Schools need to clearly realize their educational role is to instill a sense of national unity in young people, it is necessary to delicately create a perception as a kind of educational philosophy, how do children, In conditions of difference in ideology and belief, they can be close to each other, intimate, harmonious, and united. This is the meaning of "conciliation and reconciliation". In a company where the owners, servants, officers and workers, due to disagreements, that unit does not work well, so, in all matters when discussing, expressing opinions, taking all everyone's opinion and unified into a common opinion for the collective to follow. Sharing interest in each other in both material and spiritual life, that is the spirit of "Loi Harmony". Everyone does not calculate, compare, and enjoy the fruits of their labor in a fair and reasonable manner, without division, without discrimination, without conflict, and without letting anyone suffer. disadvantaged. The last two principles of "conciliation and reconciliation" and "benefit of harmony" seem to be difficult to gain approval from the secular point of view. While everyone believes that knowledge capital is the property of each individual, for the sharing of knowledge of course not everyone can agree. Moreover, the question is, what if we accept to share knowledge while others do not? On the other hand, How can we share the benefits equally with everyone if others don't put in the same effort as we do? The answer here is: we need to convince people that the true value of life does not lie in material values, and therefore the so-called "disadvantage" in material terms is not necessarily the case. was a loss. But how do we convince others to believe in and follow the principles we think are right? First of all, we must be the ones to apply these 6 principles in our lives. There is an even more important meaning of "Luc Hoa" that when it comes to Hoa is to confirm the disagreement. From organizations such as families, schools, companies, enterprises, etc., everyone must know how to apply the spirit of respecting each person's individuality and personality, but also applying it, Educate on how to develop personality well in that harmonious atmosphere. A draw without a bronze will lose all meaning of the six peace. Therefore, peace because of love and respect, harmony because of humility, peace because it is a cultural way of life, is an art of beautiful behavior, so that everyone can respect the thoughts, feelings, thoughts, etc. of others. , on the one hand know how to harmonize in the collective of those different personalities, the ultimate goal is all, we and everyone are at peace and progress. V. THE EFFECTS OF LUCON HOA IN LIFE AND IN DAO Luc Hoa is divided into 2 aspects: About the Self: including body, speech, and mind. Bringing to the behavior of the community: including ant, gender, benefit. Luc Hoa for individuals is a good citizen in society, exemplary, obeys the rules, unites to build the neighborhood... Benefits for themselves, turning bad people into good people. When people apply it well, it affects the family: peace, happy, prosperous. External benefits: the program of the state and the people working together, the cultural village, the cultural quarter is a neighborhood where people are conscious, do not cause quarrels, have a direct impact on society: peace, happiness happiness. For the Way: "Buddhist Dharma flourishes due to the harmony of monks and nuns." The word Sang means harmony, purity, not harmony, it is not pure, and cannot be a Sangha. Sangha: great benefits for monastics when existing in society, as well as helping the Sangha to develop. For the practice ashram, applying Luc Hoa brings vitality, prosperity and stability to that ashram, and at the same time brings progress and advancement in the spiritual life for each Buddhist. This is also the factor that makes Buddhism flourish. The influence of Luc Hoa spread from within the religion to the outside of society. Delivering stable organizational value, life stability for society and the development of the Sangha. Any organization or country will follow this trajectory. Solidarity is the product of the continent. The benefits of solidarity and the harm of disunity are like the stories we've all heard: the story illustrates the bundle of chopsticks. Unity is an extraordinary strength, nothing can be done. The story of Mr. Muc Kien-liang asked the Buddha to teach the method to save his mother who was trapped in the hungry ghosts, the Buddha told him to go to the ten directions of the Sangha to make offerings, thanks to the attention of the Sangha, his mother would escape the cycle of suffering. Why did the Buddha, full of magical powers, have infinite merit, but did not personally save his mother, must wait for the attention of the Sangha? This is enough to prove that the Buddha taught that unity is strength above all strength. Because of this meaning, Buddhism advocates "The virtues of them are like the sea". Because Buddhism advocates peace and harmony to come to unity, it is very suitable for the spirit of solidarity of the Vietnamese nation. Thus, if applied to all subjects, Luc Hoa will bring great benefits. C. CONCLUSION The above six teachings, if we do them thoroughly, in the family, parents, spouses, brothers, all organizations, all unions, will enjoy peace, happiness, and inheritance. Every day is prosperous, the country is strong and prosperous, the world is peaceful and peaceful. Particularly in the Buddhist world, if we properly apply the "Six Peace" dharma, our cultivation will quickly progress, the path to liberation is closer, and the realm of Ultimate Bliss is not just a wish. Opposite, If we don't respect and live according to Luc Hoa, we cannot build a peaceful and happy life, we cannot create a peaceful, liberated and peaceful life of cultivation. Because Luc Hoa is the foundation, the root to stop all differences, victory and defeat, struggle, violence and enmity. This Dharma of Luc Hoa is also the foundation of unity, the power of reason, and peaceful happiness. Six Peace is the six methods of learning, is a correct motto not only in the Buddha's time, nor only for practitioners, but all individuals, organizations, and groups who want to exist. and stable development must apply Luc Hoa. The six peace today and forever is still a truth, a holy life, contributing to creating a peaceful and liberated life. LESSON 3 A. INTRODUCTION In daily life, through the form of communication, discriminatory treatment, the harmful things from the lack of respect should lead to hatred, jealousy, and suffering for each other. Any life, whether individually or collectively, must have the conditions of unity and harmony forming a force leading to success. Let's try to see in an organization or organization there are flattlers who keep talking all day to harm upright people to benefit themselves, try asking that group, the agency. other… can you keep a solid long-term foundation? Certainly not, but will gradually lead to division and collapse. In Buddhism, the Buddha, from the very beginning for the five brothers, Kieu Tran Nhu, he guided them to live by the Luc Hoa Dharma as the motto for the Sangha lifestyle. Luc Hoa is also the main outline that is immutable, guiding the Sangha and teaching sentient beings. Luc Hoa is also the basic precept in the Sangha of Buddhism. B. CONTENT I. DEFINITIONS Green is six. Peace is harmony, harmony. Luc Hoa is the six arts of high living, six methods of dealing with each other for harmony from material to spirit, from words to deeds. Peace means not opposing, not conflicting, not antagonizing each other, not harming each other but must sincerely love, help, protect, forgive, and yield to each other... Peace here is based on wisdom. wisdom and compassion, equality, with the purpose of reaching a place of beauty and liberation, not conciliation in a weak, weak way or who says what, we follow whatever we do without knowing right and wrong, good and evil. II. The cause of the Buddha's Law In the first 12 years since the establishment of the Sangha, the Buddha had not yet formulated the Precepts. Because in these 12 years the monks lived in peace and tranquility, people mainly lived together in the spirit of the six republics. Through the 13th year, the Sangha increased gradually, so that there were illegal activities in the Sangha, because of this, the Buddha formulated the Precepts to prevent the world's illegal dharmas, not for it to arise. Therefore, it can be said that Luc Hoa is the basic precept that monastics must practice. About the origin of the Buddha's teaching of the Six Harmony, we can see in the Middle East Sutra I, Kosambiya Sutta 48, page 500 that teaches that: When the Blessed One was still in the world, when he was living in Ghosita Vihara, in the city of Kosambi . Here, his disciples they did not get along with each other, every day they argued with each other, back and forth, they fought with weapons of the tongue, neither of them yielded to the other, and in the end to hurt and quarrel with each other. Because they wanted to have a life of mutual love in the community of Sangha, there were a few monks who presented this matter to the Blessed One in order to ask the Buddha for advice. By the way, the Buddha said the Law of Luc Hoa so that the monks can rely on it to practice, helping the Sangha to have a life of mutual love, respect and harmony with each other. III. PRACTICES AND LEGAL MEANINGS 1. When you live in harmony, you live in harmony. You live in the same place, a place of residence, an ashram, or a certain social organization. Be respectful, polite and tactful to each other. Willing to share difficulties and help each other. Do not shy away from heavy and light weight, do not live eccentrically, without style, do not divide into parties, factions, classes, races, skin colors, religions, do not rely heavily on rape, do not rely on foolish aggression, to oppose, beat beat each other... Okay, so that's what we call body harmony. If we want to get along with the group, we must first know how to get along with ourselves first, that is, we must live ethically and exemplary lives ourselves. We cannot "get along" when we do not know how to control ourselves. For example, if our body keeps committing murder, robbery, sexual misconduct, drinking, vomiting, getting drunk all day and night, walking unsteadily... then people will stay away from us, because it's not safe to be close to us, not safe. … In fact, when living together in a group, it is also difficult to avoid conflicts. If we live together and do not get along, it will be very painful. Discord between husband and wife and brothers often occurs during the cold war, sometimes beating or even setting fire to the house, killing people. If there is disagreement in the village, they only know how to live in selfishness, harming people, everyone's house is closed with high walls, who lives and dies regardless of who, they even try to build illegally, encroach on people's land, then it will lead to beatings, messy lawsuits, trouble... Companies and enterprises that discord easily lead to smashing, demonstrations, strikes, etc. The country of discord often occurs violence and terrorism. , division of factions, establishment of gangsters... The world of discord will have war. Buddhists who practice in the ashram and have disagreements will oppose each other, divide, rely on old age, go to the temple for many years, should have rude gestures to people, etc. The Buddha taught that in order to have peace in life. With the group, the body must "act with loving-kindness". That is, all actions must come from the heart of compassion, all actions should not bring frustration, pain, fear, harm to others from physical to mental. In this sense, broadly speaking, When people live together in a collective, it is not necessary to live together every day or to know each other, but it is also about symbiotic relationships in all areas of human life, from the field of communication to each other. For example, when we are in traffic, even though we don't know who the people are in traffic with us, we are at that moment in harmony with a large group of people. . If our body knows "tie", we will drive carefully and according to the law, but if our body does not "tie", we will swerve, speed, overtake carelessly, cause an accident that makes people scared and frustrated. . There are many people who do not beat people, but have attitudes and gestures of disdain, contempt, even glancing, glaring, winking….However, if we have a fierce, unsightly appearance, but The purpose is to help people know how to turn away from evil and do good. If we know how to act with loving-kindness, if we know how to "act with loving-kindness," if we know how to "act with loving-kindness," if we know how to "act with loving-kindness," if we know how to "act with loving-kindness." Thus, in the collective life, all members live very self-consciously, are highly conscious, know how to help and support each other, comply with regulations and fulfill their responsibilities and duties in accordance with their positions. There is no competition, scuffle, scuffle or opposition to each other. From there, it leads to harmony, peace and happiness for each other. That's why Vietnamese proverbs have a very good saying "Bau oi loves to get squash together, although they are different from each other, they share the same truss". 2. Speechless harmony Speech is the closest communication tool of mankind. Words will express a person's personality, mood, and aspirations. Good speech will lead to peace, happiness, harmony and enlightenment, right view for us. Evil words will lead people to confusion, separation, resentment, even violence and war. As a disciple of the Buddha, whether monastic or layman, it is necessary to follow the example of the Buddha. In the Central Bodhi Sutta, the Snake Sutta, the World-Honored One teaches that words must "abide with speech and word karma" which are expressed in five aspects: "Speak the truth, do not lie, and flatter. Speak in harmony, do not speak divisively. Speak lovingly without saying harsh, rude, or vulgar words. Speak timely, do not speak out of time. Speak good words, do not speak evil." Do the above to touch people and create harmony. In addition, there are also words that, although not pleasing to the ear, are called "intermediate speech against the ear", even scolding, loudly, but coming from compassion to help us become enlightened, those words are also is called a harmony, like a teacher scolding monks and nuns for not doing lessons, teaching wrong teachings... In fact, verbal harmony is not easy to do, the reason why there is a quarrel is because others do it against their will, or criticize, say my fault, or disagree… All because of self-grasping. When living together, words are used the most, so it's easiest to talk. Therefore, the ancients have the advice "before speaking, drink your tongue 7 times" to avoid saying the wrong thing, saying things out loud and causing harm to each other. However, in life, there are many people who like to win and lose, contradict each other every word, find every way to sarcastic, stab, denigrate, and disparage each other to lead to discord: From discord between relatives, neighbors, to the mother-in-law of the bride, to the couples who brought each other to the court for divorce, brothers separated, father and son did not look at each other, friends, teachers and students avoided each other, seeming to become strangers, sometimes become hostile to each other. Even walking on the road, accidentally rubbing lightly, people scolded, quarreled loudly, the little thing was torn to big, it was really sad. The police newspaper reported that 3 young people because of your friend's provocation raped the deputy secretary of the commune. A young man pulled out a knife and stabbed his friend to death just because the two sides were shouting at each other. The angry mother scolded her son and said "you go and die", unexpectedly the son was so angry that he drank aphrodisiac and died at the hospital…. Living in any group is the same, respect and cohesion are often expressed through words: For example, in a family, children must know how to walk and report to their parents, husband and wife must address and speak to the priest. second, not a little bit about the fact that you guys often yell and bully. That's why our forefathers have very good advice to their children and grandchildren: "If a husband is angry, his wife will speak less, and the rice will simmer on low heat for a lifetime." As for Buddhists who come to the ashram to practice, meet each other, smile, recite Amitabha Buddha's word, and address each other with delicate words, fellow initiates will hear very warmly. And if I make a mistake, I have to sincerely apologize so that everything will be okay, not find the fault of others to tell to cover my fault. If you want to have peace of mind, you need to practice patience and learn to listen to understand, sympathize and forgive. Instead of saying bad things, spend that time reciting the Buddha's name to increase merit. Bring the Buddha's teachings to advise everyone to practice together. When there are problems to be explained, they should all be based on right views, and present their analysis in a reasonable and peaceful manner. Do not rely on sophistry and cunning to fight for victory, which is contrary to the right. 3. Italy in harmony through Italy is the subtle part, no form, is the thought, is the thought of man. Peace means that our mind always thinks about the good, bringing benefits, peace and harmony to the collective and the community. There are many relatives, the speech can be reconciled, but the mind is at odds, which we often hear the saying "with face but not content". Once you can't hold it any longer, it's called "the water breaks on the shore", it will explode out of the body, beat, kill, curse at the mouth, etc... The Law Newspaper has reported that a young man has stabbed his biological father to death. I'm just because of my father who eats and drinks every day, comes home drunk every day, curses and brutally beats his mother and him for the past 2 years. As mentioned above, the reason why the body does evil and the mouth speaks evil is due to the discord of the mind and evil thoughts. In fact, outside of society, people with positions and positions of authority with an unrighteous mind will easily produce evils such as corruption, bureaucracy, extortion, bossiness, and trying to bring each other down. Who always let greed, hatred, If they do not control and misjudge, they will easily create countless dishonest and cruel things that have been briefly listed above. In addition, if you share the same point of view, you will form a faction; if you have a different point of view, you will form another faction that opposes and causes pain and hatred for each other. So the Buddha taught that the mind controls and directs both body and speech to create karma. Therefore, living in a group, in order for everything to be peaceful and peaceful, each person needs to keep his or her mind and heart well. We must know that each person has different thoughts, feelings, opinions, and interests, so there is a saying "nine people ten ideas", we should not force others to follow our will if they are not happy. Must be very tactful in group activities, For example, if we like to listen to cai luong, we should turn it on very low or listen to the earphone so as not to disturb others… If everyone knows how to keep a careful control in their mind, don't give it the freedom to let loose. , do not let greed, hatred and delusion arise, or if it does arise, we must have mindfulness and awareness to clearly see our evil thoughts and prevent them. The person who is not swayed by the emotions of self-grasping, is dominated by anger and delusion, is a person of great strength, and is praised by the Blessed One: "Even on the battlefield, defeating thousands of enemy troops, It is not as good as conquering oneself. It is a glorious victory. paralyzed.” If you win against yourself as someone who knows how to control your own mind, then surely when you act or speak, each person will maintain peace and happiness. So, Buddha taught Buddhists that each person must always keep their mind. mine, know that this idea is impermanent, so don't cling to it and don't always think that your idea is right, don't let it start thinking bad and evil things that cause discord and division with each other. One must strive to cultivate the virtues of compassion, joy and equanimity, take the idea of enlightenment and liberation as the ultimate goal, and always keep in mind that all sentient beings can become Buddhas. Only then will you, your family and the society have a harmonious, peaceful and happy life together. 4. The monastic community This is the fourth noble art of living that leads to harmony. When civilized people progress to form a separate country, there are written laws, called laws, whose purpose is to maintain order, security, civilization and happiness for human society. Then the religions that were born also had their own laws to protect their organizations. Particularly in Buddhism, there are precepts to help monks, nuns, Buddhists lead a virtuous, well-disciplined life, firmly on the road to find enlightenment. All are happy and willing to keep the same precepts according to their rank. For example, for lay people there are five precepts, eight precepts, or bodhisattva precepts. Sa di has 10 precepts, bhikkhus keep 250 precepts, nuns keep 348 precepts. The precepts of Buddhism are the moral and ethical foundation; In addition to sanctifying the individual, it is also considered as a sublimation principle for the social community. Gender is also understood as the old rules, rules, and disciplines. Even animals know how to live in order, discipline and solidarity. The ants have a line. Birds fly with flocks and flocks. The bees know how to divide the work, which one to protect, which one to find prey, which one to build the nest, so they live very orderly, orderly, and harmoniously… For humans, it is much better than animals, because We are rational and emotional. Community life is getting richer and more diverse. From the smallest unit, the family, everyone must follow the family's rules and have a clear hierarchy. In the company, workers operating machines must comply with regulations to ensure productivity and labor safety... People in traffic must wear helmets, walk to the right side of the road, do not rush to overtake carelessly, encounter problems. The red light signal must stop, the green light must be run... Living citizens must abide by the prescribed laws. For Buddhists who come to the temple to practice, it is necessary to keep strictly according to the rules of the retreat. For example, wearing the same uniform, wearing the same sign, not smoking, not littering, not talking loudly, not wearing shoes to the main hall, during religious hours must turn off the phone or turn it on vibrate mode, no are against each other... then there is harmony. In a collective, always take the rules, discipline first. If citizens don't follow the law, society will be in chaos, if students don't keep the school's discipline, the school will collapse. command of the Elder, then that Buddhist family will disintegrate. Buddhists live together in a learning environment, if everyone does their own thing, the ashram will be messy and soon disband. So if Buddhists want to work together to practice, each need to keep the same precepts. Especially the Buddha's disciples must set a bright example for the world, must keep the precepts strictly. Because there are precepts, there is virtue. With virtue, the new practice attains right concentration to generate wisdom. Only with Wisdom can you achieve fruition and liberation. “The Sangha takes Luc Hoa as the root. Liberation takes the Precepts as its head” 5. Ants of harmony and reconciliation Ants are seeing, knowing, being their own perception. Peace is expressed in many ways: Knowledge in the world, knowledge in the Buddhadharma, people's opinions, etc. All are explained to each other for mutual understanding. Ants conciliate according to the world: For example, good and good students should dedicate themselves to helping their classmates who are weaker than themselves. In the field of invention, if domestic and foreign collectives where everyone is in harmony and willing to share experiences, perceptions and new discoveries, then that collective and society will develop quickly and quickly. prosperity and unity. In fact, there are farmers who have successfully invented rice harvesters, field plows, and water pumps. Scientists and engineers invent light bulbs, solar energy, airplanes, cars, cars, fans, televisions, ships. etc… have served to improve people's lives. In the meeting, all members have the right to contribute ideas, and the remaining members should respectfully accept and listen to all opinions of the speaker, not ignore or reject with the attitude of take lightly the opinion of the other party, even more not use authority and position to impose their opinions and force others to obey. Therefore, in order to have a referendum in the meetings of the population groups, wards and communes, or even to promulgate a law or amend the legal charter until the election of the National Assembly, the opinions of representatives must be approved. chart. From there, the chairman must skillfully reconcile all opinions to get the most common, most reasonable opinion, which is agreed by the majority of the people and delegates, then a conciliatory opinion will be established. We can even establish a conciliatory opinion by writing comments and then putting them in the comment mailboxes without having to be present at all… Today in the world there are always conflicts and disputes about resources, territory, politics, economy... All because there is no peace. When negotiations fail, both parties will inevitably have discord and damage to each other. In practice, there are two types of view: wrong view and right view. Wrong views are conditioned dharmas that are impermanent, which we consider permanent, which are suffering, which we consider to be happy, which are non-disease, which we consider to be pure, and which are not-self and which we consider to be self-existent. This is a kind of perverse view, which will inevitably lead to discord, argument, going the wrong way, leading to suffering and fall. If everyone could learn, understand, and practice according to the Buddha's right view, that is, knowing that conditioned dharmas are impermanent, not-self, impure, and suffering, then there would be no more disagreements about views. In addition, Buddhists should share with each other about their own understandings and learning experiences, or raise their doubts and questions to be explained by respectable and virtuous people. teach. These are extremely important. Because of the vastness and breadth of the Buddhadharma, but our own understanding is limited, sometimes we misunderstand it without knowing it. If you cling to your own view as right (even if it is wrong), and then say that others are wrong, that group will definitely have discord. For example, a Zen practitioner says that a Pure Land practitioner is weak and dependent. And people who practice Pure Land say that practicing Zen is easy to go crazy. For example, a Buddhist monk in the South told a Buddhist monk in the North that "he worships the West, the Tam Thanh is superstitious", after hearing this, he was angry and argued fiercely with that Buddhist woman. He swore that he would never go to that temple again. Summary, Any group, if anyone wants to contribute any ideas, is built on the spirit of compassion, harmony, and right view. I comment and share with the sincere heart of a Buddha. If our sharing is not accepted by the group, we are also happy, not because of that, causing anger and discomfort. According to the Buddha's Yeti Law, if there is still one person who is not in harmony, or has not accepted, then the work will not be accomplished. 6. Harmony with the army In the temple or monastery, if anyone makes offerings of money, food, and utensils, the monks and nuns will share them equally, or use them together, especially those who give priority. old and sickly. But dividing equally does not mean that everyone is the same, but equally divided according to precepts, merits and virtues. There is also a saying in the world that "work according to your ability, enjoy according to your labor". For example, if you make an offering to a monk, the person responsible for the instruction must know how to divide it. The Venerable Master must be offered more than the Venerable Master.. Because the merit of the Venerable is not equal to the merit of the Venerable Master or the Venerable Master. If merit is not equal, life expectancy is not equal. Therefore, Buddhists should understand clearly so that when making offerings, we can show respect for the elders, then our blessings will be fulfilled. When it comes to the matter of receiving wealth, the Buddha taught: "Be legitimate inheritance rather than material inheritance. Therefore, for Buddhists, material interests should be considered as a means of life. If we are not aware, alert, then this means often leads to contention and loss of happiness. When interests are properly divided, friendship is easily developed. But with worldly people, Because of greed and selfishness, it is difficult to get this peace. In society, the reason there is fierce conflict, class division, is also because of the lack of "harmony of the army". The rich are too rich, the poor are poor. Therefore, there cannot be peace. Since then there have been robbers, frauds, killings, wars... Even in many cases robbing people. rich give to the poor, this is completely wrong. It must be known that in Buddhist cause and effect, the rich are due to the past lives knowing how to give and make offerings, we should only try our best to encourage them to develop a mind to help the poor. In companies and enterprises, whether private or state owned, they must not exploit or take advantage of the labor force of employees, but must pay attention to and pay wages and rewards commensurate with the employees' efforts. profits should be divided equally among workers. Entrepreneurs should sincerely cooperate in business and care about helping each other to develop and overcome difficulties. Don't have a bad, selfish, cruel mind when you see your company growing and doing well, you will find a way to bring them down, causing your company to go bankrupt. In the family, parents who divide property among their children should also divide them wisely. The rich should share and help the poor. Those who contribute capital do business according to the percentage of capital that appropriate profits. For example, the motorbike taxi team should give way to each other and run... then this society will be very nice and peaceful. Buddhists come to the temple to practice, if there are benefactors who make offerings for the retreat such as: food, water or scriptures, lecture plates, etc., all Buddhists are divided equally, everyone has a share. When eating together, each person must be very tactful, You shouldn't think that the dish is so delicious that you give it a lot so that other people don't have it. For example, there are 10 people at the dining table, and there are 10 pieces of tofu on the table, so each person only uses 1 piece of beans… Broadly speaking, in life, we must be very thrifty, not wasteful on electricity. , water, food, utensils... in order to share and help other sufferers, especially at this time, when the floods in the central region are ravaging and raging, it is very necessary for hearts to give in. shirt. IV. APPLICATIONS AND BENEFITS OF THE LENGTH LENGTH HOA LU HOA are six methods of living in harmony, capable of preventing conflicts and struggles, occurring in a community of monks. It is a sense of self-discipline, a sense of responsibility, the ability to harmonize, showing fairness and harmony, respecting each other, helping each other, sharing difficulties and advantages together. Although Luc Hoa is a Sangha way of life, if applied in secular life, it will bring harmony and happiness in every family, village, neighborhood, school, company, mass organization, etc. nation and the entire human society. - To realize the spirit of harmony and coexistence, we must have the virtue of self-sacrifice, knowing that we know ourselves, putting ourselves in the wallet of others, sympathizing and sharing with each other, and at the same time, should not do evil and often do good deeds, for no one likes to be around and get along with bad people. Everyone is always working together to protect, build and develop their families, organizations, etc., the planet they live on. Because the peace of the group is also because of the happiness of each of us. - In order to achieve peace and harmony, we need to cultivate patience, speak good words and good intentions, to ensure purity and unity. because words show their moral character in relation to each other. Be cautious and tactful in speech, limit all arguments and always respect and listen to others. Harmonious speech is not only necessary for a happy family, but also an essential element for any harmonious collective. - In order to carry out the thought of harmony and approval, we must practice letting go of all illusions, stubbornness, distinguishing love and hate, good and bad, right and wrong, often reciting the Buddha's name and thinking and remembering the good. equip yourself with a heart of tolerance, forgiveness, joy, to get along with everyone. Caring about helping and serving each other in work, creating consensus in all family or collective work. Everyone knows how to take responsibility for themselves, do not blame each other, so there will never be blame for each other, creating harmony and solidarity. - In order to carry out the precepts of harmony, that is, a lay disciple or a monastic, one must keep the correct precepts he receives, not to be contaminated or damaged, to maintain moral conduct for each other, and to form a pure collective. harmony, true to their roles, respect above and below, clear roles. If everyone in a family or a group seriously adheres to, respects common norms, routines or standards and encourages each other to correct all mistakes and shortcomings, then that family or group will surely It will soon become a harmonious environment, bringing people together to make progress together. - In order to realize the view of reconciliation, we should open our hearts, not be selfish, share the knowledge we have for everyone to understand together, together in harmony, willing to share experiences, new perceptions and discoveries, the new society will develop and prosper. - To realize the benefits of harmony, we need to know how to open our hearts to give and share with those in need. But no one can help them forever, so the poor have to know how to rise up to overcome difficulties, and at the same time make society develop economically as well as morally. On the other hand, it means that the benefits must be divided equally. If in a family or a group the interests are not the same, it is easy to create turmoil and discord. When interests are divided harmoniously, friendship can be developed easily. Although this is not the first factor, it is very important to worldly people. These six principles are the motto, the art of living comes to life, create for the world love, compassion, justice and democracy, create a cultural family, a peaceful collective, a unified organization, a peaceful and harmonious Sangha, a model of model, true to the statement: "unity is great unity, success is great success" For monastics: The Six Harmony is the first law applied to the Sangha of the Buddha's time. Because in the first 12 years, the Buddha did not make the Precepts, then the Six Harmony is the pattern, the standard, applied in the Sangha to have a peaceful and harmonious life. The moral character of the Sangha life is rooted in the six dharmas of harmony and respect, which is also the first and fundamental method of practice for the attainment of spirituality. The Sangha community thanks to pure harmony can resolve all differences, disputes, conflicts that no other secular group can do. Thanks to living according to the spirit of Luc Hoa, each person beautifies his dharma body, dignifies and gestures according to a pedagogical level in the ranks of the Trung Ton Cong, that is, that person has achieved precepts, virtues, and virtues. It should be said that having six peace is the liberation of Nirvana because there is no longer any shadow of afflictions and struggles. For lay people: We know that when we live together in a family home, there can be no happiness if everyone does not live together in harmony, attachment and responsibility. Therefore, everyone needs to uphold the sense of responsibility and respect for each other, thus perfecting their moral character. If every member of the family practices this Dharma, it will create consensus in all family affairs, and it is certain that the family will be peaceful and happy. Particularly for Buddhists, If we properly apply the Law of Luc Hoa, our cultivation will quickly improve. A person who always lives in accordance with the spirit of Luc Hoa is a person with a spirit of compassion, selflessness, altruism, and no greed, hatred and delusion. When this is achieved, the path to liberation is wide open, and the realm of Ultimate Bliss is not just an aspiration. For the country and society: All people in society know how to apply Luc Hoa, learn together to expand their knowledge, and help each other, so what if the people are not happy and the country is not prosperous? ? This has been clearly demonstrated in the history of Vietnam during the Ly and Tran dynasties; From the king, the mandarins to the whole people, with one accord, harmony, personal sacrifice, and unity, it created the strength to defeat foreign invaders, creating a heroic history page of the Vietnamese nation. So, If the whole society unites and harmonizes with one heart, it will certainly build a peaceful and happy society, rich people and strong country. C. CONCLUSION The Blessed One is the embodiment of the most beautiful Luc Hoa. From a young age, until he left home to seek the way, and during 49 years of teaching the Dharma to save birth until he entered Nirvana, he was in complete harmony with nature, all things and sentient beings. That's why the Buddha removed all discrimination and distinctions about class, status, race, skin color. He accepted disciples from all walks of life and from all walks of life.
