What is the Dharma?

What is the Dharma? Buddhism is divided into three periods: the Dharma, the Dharma, and the Dharma. The French periods of Shakyamuni Buddha are recorded in the scriptures are not uniform, but most of the ancient virtues are according to the Dhamma period is 500 years, the statue of the Buddha is 1,000 years, and the Mat Mat is 10,000 years old. During the Proper Dharma, even though the Buddha had passed away, the Dharma remained unchanged. There is a dharma, there is practice, and there are people who attain enlightenment - that is called the Dharma Age, and is also called the period of "meditation."During the statue of dharma (statue means symbol), although there are still dhamma, there is practice, but the number of witnesses is very little; This period is also known as the "solid temple". In the Dharma Ending Period, the Buddhadharma becomes weakened, there is only Dhamma, no practice, and the less the attainer the better. This period is also known as the "solid struggle". This is the usual explanation of the three periods of "Buddha, Statue and Dress" of the Buddha Dharma.
However, the Venerable Master defines Dharma as follows:
"You sincerely cultivate, do not despise the fake, do not engage in offerings - that is the main Dharma. If all the monks can keep the precepts do not touch the money, can sit meditation. , may eat a meal at noon, can always wear the yoga and strict precepts, that is the right Dharma!
Even the Master simply explained:
"If you can not fight, no greed, no bride, no selfishness, no self-interest, and no lying, then that is the true Dharma."
So, what is the Dharma Ending Age? In Book 5 of the Lotus Sutra, it says, "When [Fa] becomes attentive, it is called the Dharma Ending Age." In Book 6, Nghia Lam chapter of the Great Taoist Uyen said: "Only the Dhamma is nothing else is called Dharma Dharma."However, the rightful portrayal of the Dharma Dharma appears in the Mahāyāna Sūtra, the Vinaya, and in the Sutra. Later on, the Dharma Dharma appeared under the reign of the North Qi (550-377 AD), in the text of the vows of Zen Master Huệ Tư in Nam Nhac. Hui noted that he was born in the 82nd year of the Dharma Ending Age and copied the entire Prajñā Sutra and many other texts. He vowed to spread the Fa until the Maitreya Bodhisattva came to this world. The Sui Dynasty (589-618 AD)
During the Tang dynasty (618-905 AD), Grand Master Traco and the Great Teacher said that the time was in the Dharma Ending Age, and advocated "the common teachings" (agreement with the teachings of the times) , encourages people to practice Buddhist meditation. In general, even though the period of Dharma Ending occurs, in the 49th Book of the Law, the Buddha also cites five things that can cause the Dharma to not be destroyed.
These five things are:
1.  Respect for Righteousness . This means that the Bhikkhus relying solely on the right teachings evolve away from the prejudiced view of the Hinayana and other pagan theories; Therefore, the Dharma can not be destroyed.
2.  Justification of Evil  (suspension of anger and evil). This means that the Bhikkhus always practice the patience, not angry, the reputation of the spread far and wide people come back to respect; Thus, the Dharma can not be destroyed.
3.  Sublime Glass  (reverently serving the elders). This means that the Bhikkhus revered and repented the great virtues at the top and diligently studied the Dharma from them; Thus, the Dharma can not be destroyed.
4.  Ai Lanh Chanh Phap  (Ch'an Dharma). This means that the bhikkhus cherish the dharma heard from the elders, elders, and happy to follow; Thus, the Dharma can not be destroyed.
5.  Compassion-Forbearance  (carefully explained for beginners). This means that the Bhikkhu's means of speaking teach Mahayana skillfully, making the beginners of the Dharma can rely on to progress on the path; Therefore, the Dharma can not be destroyed.
In the Dharma Endings, beings can not continually distinguish themselves from righteousness, so many people want to enter the Buddha's door but have mistaken the door to practice. That's because they lack "French label." Although in the Dharma Ending Age, the phenomenon of "fish eye interspersed with pearls" in the door of the Buddha is not a little, but the Master's dedication is very clear:
"I definitely want to revive the Dharma, I only allow Buddhism to have Dharma, not Dharma, wherever I go, there will be blessings, wisdom and relief." Therefore, without control of my limited ability, I go everywhere to preach the Proper Dharma and practice the Dharma. "
Although the Buddha repeatedly mentioned the destruction of Buddhism, however, the Buddha also attempted to overcome the destruction of the Dharma. As in the Nirvana Sutra it says: "During the Dharma Ending there will be twelve thousand (120,000) great Bodhisattvas who keep the Fa, making them immortal." From which can be learned that the Master's willingness to "do not allow the Dharma Reich" is not the great compassionate mind of the Tathagata?
The Venerable Master felt that:
Buddha Dharma Removal, Increase Self Destruction,
Ethics, cultivate,
He is sincere,
The puppets are good activity.
Consent of the five bar even.
Beings in the provinces,
Need to sign up,
Revival of Buddhism in Bhikkhu.
Translation:
Buddha's teachings are not destroyed,
Ethical practice, no one cultivated,
To be honest, ridiculed,
Outspoken cheeky, lauded.
Wanting to be happy,
Delivered three times,
I need to remind young monks and nuns:
Revive the Buddha Bhikkhu!
In Buddhism there can be no 99% - if only a small part of Buddhism is false, then that is no longer the "Righteous Fa" anymore! So we have to distinguish clearly, because in temples there are both "evil and pagan". It is better to have a thousand years without rebirth, more than one day in the path of evil. If we lack the Dharma Stickers of the "Four Pureblood Prayers" (in the Surangama Sutra) we are afraid that we may become the relatives of the evil that we ourselves do not know or do not know!
By the way, the writer introduces seven very important points in distinguishing the righteous:
1. The teacher takes the exchange of husband and wife, male and female wilderness, indulge indulgently, as bait to attract their belongings, and as a means to save the world; that is evil.
2. The teacher inspires their greed by saying that they can use talismans, tales, and talents to help them become rich; that is evil.
3. The teacher encourages directly or indirectly the killing of two living beings and the eating of living beings, and says that one can use the spell to save the spirits of the eaten beings;that is evil.
4. The teacher practices peculiar asceticism, injures himself to influence beings, and calls it suffering for beings; that is evil.
5. Master uses supernatural powers and strange things as "tools" to attract curious beings;that is evil.
6. The teacher arbitrarily adds, modifies the Buddhist monks in Buddhism and explains the deviation of the meaning of "faith, resolution, tu, testimony," also considered himself a teacher; that is evil.
7. The teacher himself founded the sect and declared himself a patriarch without having a genuine basis in Buddhist ethics; that is evil.

Part 1: Righteousness and Dharma
One time, a Buddhist asked,
"The Venerable Master often said,
Truthfully acknowledge my mistake,
Do not bother others,
The error of his fault,
Dong Dai Bi.
But why does the Venerable Master often publicly criticize, discuss the non-Buddhas about others, and publish them in the Vajra Bodhi Sea (Vajra Bodhi Sea)? Is that a road, a path? "
The Venerable replied:
"The person who will go to hell is me, not you." If what I say is true, it's not a lie, if it's not true, then I'm sure to be hell. Those who say that the great practitioners do not suffer from karmic consequences, the result is 500 life as the fox (lake).
If I deny cause and effect - call black is white, call white is black, say right wrong, wrong to say true - say things that are not true, then I will be damned Hell hell (withdraw the tongue). If I do not say wrong, then I'm not guilty.
Mencius said: 'I have to like the argument! I am also reluctant! If the teachings of the Yangtze and the Maccabees did not go away, the religion of Confucius would not be so bright! (first)
Why do I like to say 'marketing', 'phi' (right and wrong)? Because there is so much 'in the world, no'!
There are black (black sect), white (white sect), papal (yellow sect), pagan (red sect) ... all turn into different colors, to flowers all eyes Even black people do not know whether they are black, white or white. So, I want to say things that others do not dare to say; If you are not satisfied with anybody, I do not mind.I am a specialist who breaks the wrong view of others. "
From the above paragraph, we can understand the vast compassion of heart not to see the suffering beings of the Master. It is called "great compassion, almost cruel", and is the skillful means to educate beings of the Bodhisattva. The Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh wrote a poem to express his determination:
"I want to say the truth,
Not afraid of being beaten, cursed.
Kill me, I'm not afraid,
Liberation, what is afraid?
Master Hsu Yun said:
"Confucius is a Confessor of Confucius; monks are sinners of the Buddha." He also emphasized: "The destroyer of Buddhism is the Buddha, not the other religions. Qin is the Qin Dynasty, not China. "
It is said in the sutras that the manifestations of the Dharma-ending period can be seen everywhere - as monks marry, nuns marry, medical men are replaced by secular, laity sitting on the high court, etc. Have a lay practitioner Ouyen Canh Vo used his own knowledge that wrote Surangama Wei Shui theory to protest the Surangama.
There is the Venerable Master says that the Flower Adornment, the Enlightenment, the Lotus Sutra, and many other sutras, as well as the Mahayana Sacraments, are fake. These are the phenomena of the Dharma Ending Age.
The Venerable Master has repeatedly repeated his instructions for the protection and maintenance of the Dharma:
"In Buddhism, all scriptures are very important, but the Surangama Sutra is even more important." Wherever there is the Shurangama Sutra, there is a rectangular Dharma where the Shurangama Sutra is lost, When teaching the Shurangama, I said: 'At the Dhamma Stage, the Shurangama Sutra will be destroyed first, and gradually the other Sutras will be destroyed as well.'Shurangama are true embodiment of Buddha, the relics of the Buddha, the stupa of a Buddhist shrine. If Shurangama is fabricated, then I am willing to hell unintermittent, permanently in place e ị a chest, Never again be able to come back to the world to meet others! Anyone who can study the Shurangama Sutra, memorize the Shurangama, he is the true disciple of the Buddha! "
In the Mahaparinirvana Sutra, the Buddha Shakyamuni said to Sun Gautama,
"In the past when I was the king of Germany, in order to preserve the Dharma, I fought with those who wanted to destroy the Dharma, and died. After death, I was born to the realm of Buddha A It is the highest disciples of the Buddha. Strict and achieved the dharmakaya body indestructible. "
"France" itself does not have "Chief, Statue, Dress"; But the human mind has the distinction of "Chief, Statue, Dress". According to the Venerable Master, whenever there is a person cultivating the Dharma, then the righteous Dharma is at the center.
If there is no one to practice, no one will read, recite, and memorize the Shurangama Sutra, it is the Dharma Ending Age. In the Surangama Sutra, there is a "Four Pureblood Prayers" lecture about killing, stealing, lewd, lying; With the "Five Thousand Knees" preaching about the heavenly, pagan doctrine to the bone marrow, and both of these are very clear that when there is no preceptor, then it is the Dharma Ending Age. About, that is, the Buddha also!
In 1990, during a lecture at the Kaohsiung Labor Center in Taiwan, the Venerable Master urgently said: "The Dharma Ending Age is held by lay people who ordain a single monk that makes up! ". Why?
The Venerable Master explained that:
"The monk living alone in a pagoda, proclaimed himself king, one king." In the time of the Dharma, all the masses live together in one of the great parts of the pagoda and join in the practice of the Tao, but in the Dharma Ending Age, people do not like the life style of the great Buddha. At a private temple - he followed his way, I followed my way - causing the householder to become confused and confused, and they found him to look good and protect him, build his own temple. Let him abbot. And then see another monk is not bad too, they built a temple for him again.Home to back up, eventually to make the fish.i ordained born mercenary greed that list to be defrocked! "
The Venerable Master did not object to the construction of the pagoda, but only because the people of today enjoy so much, do not know how to use the Dharma and education to convert the beings. They only use "big pagoda" to beings, to show how to be famous and become rich.
The Master's view of temple construction is as follows:
"Creating a pagoda is not as good as creating a human being, not creating a Buddha, I want to be a sculptor, I want to make living Buddhas, living Bodhisattvas, living Patriarchs. All living beings in the whole world are transformed into living Buddhas, living Bodhisattvas, living Patriarchs! I am breaking down these are not big pagodas, but shrines, When people in small pagodas move to large pagodas, they can all practice together, thus they are the life-forms of a great martial arts. Because there is no restraint, there is no need to "self-indulge," which can eat freely, wear freely, walk freely, so dforget about cultivation. Every day just know phan coast,
I hope that Buddhism will inscribe these words and do not continue to "steal the bell," to deceive mankind. At present, the signs of chaos in Buddhism in Taiwan have been so severe that it can be said to alarm; But no one dares to stand up for the call; Everybody just blindly watching the Buddhist scene is gradually going toward destruction.
Three steps is a monastery, go five steps to meet a large temple - everyone is trying to organize the Fa conference, super spirits, the empowerment, the Dharma, temple construction ..., but Or know about the propagation of the teachings, guide beings how to end birth and death! (2)
The basic teaching of the Buddha is to educate, to make all beings have wisdom, to have the Dharma, to know the fruit, to improve the evil; Not a focus on the construction of the temple, the Fa conference! Have we ever wondered behind the harsh teachings of the Master hidden hides how much bloody mercy?
As the meaning in the verse, "the omnipotence of the body," the Master wants the light from the torch in his hand to illuminate as far away as possible, without regard to his being burned! "Even if I meet many difficulties, I still hold my will." This is the most honest description of the Master.

The noble tribe, self-respect, is not still rolling in the circle of fame like ordinary people, living in abundance.
