PREVENTIVE MEASURES nCoV.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.

VIRUS CROWN

Corona virus is a large family of viruses, some of which cause disease in humans and others that cause illness in animals, such as bats, camels and civets.
Rarely, the corona virus in animals could evolve to infect and spread in humans. However, some strains of Corona, when infected in humans, have spread into a serious epidemic such as SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome), which occurred in 2002 and MERS (Middle Eastern respiratory syndrome) appeared in 2002. year 2012.
The new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) that is causing a stir is a new strain of coronavirus that has not been previously identified in humans.

This new strain of coronary pneumonia arises from a seafood market in Wuhan.
In December, the World Health Organization was warned of a number of pneumonia cases in Wuhan City (Hubei Province of China). This virus does not match any known virus. This is troubling because we don't know how it affects people.
A week later, on January 7, Chinese authorities confirmed that the new virus was a strain of the Corona virus - a family of viruses that caused the common cold and SARS outbreak. , MERS before. This new strain is temporarily named 2019-nCoV.

TYPES OF CORONAVIRUS IN PEOPLE

The coronaviruses are named for crown-like spines on their surfaces. There are four main groups of coronaviruses, called alpha, beta, gamma and delta.
Human coronaviruses were first identified in the mid-1960s. The seven types of coronaviruses that can infect humans are:
 Common coronaviruses in humans:
– 229E (alpha coronavirus).
- NL63 (alpha coronavirus).
– OC43 (beta coronavirus).
– HKU1 (beta coronavirus).
Other coronaviruses in humans
- MERS-CoV (beta coronavirus causes Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome, or MERS).
- SARS-CoV (beta coronavirus causes severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS).
- Novel 2019 coronavirus (2019-nCoV).
- People around the world are often infected with coronaviruses 229E, NL63, OC43 and HKU1.
Sometimes animal-borne coronaviruses can evolve and make humans sick and become a new coronavirus in humans. The three recent examples of this are 2019-nCoV, SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV.

 Novel 2019 coronavirus (2019-nCoV)

On January 9, 2020, the World Health Organization reported that a new (new) coronavirus was identified by the Chinese authorities. The virus is linked to an outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China.

 SARS-CoV

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) was first recognized in China in November 2002. It caused a worldwide outbreak in 2002-2003 with 8,098 possible cases. There were 774 deaths. Since 2004, no known cases of SARS-CoV have been reported anywhere in the world.

 MERS-CoV

Coronavirus Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) was first reported in Saudi Arabia in 2012. It has caused human disease from dozens of other countries. All cases have so far been linked to countries in or near the Arabian Peninsula. CDC continues to closely monitor MERS globally.

SPREAD

Human coronaviruses are usually spread from an infected person to another through:
- Air by coughing and sneezing
- Close personal contact, such as touching or shaking hands
- Touch an object or surface with viruses on it, then touch your mouth, nose or eyes before washing your hands
- In the United States, people are usually infected with coronaviruses common to humans in the fall and winter. However, you can be infected at any time of the year. Most people will get one or more common coronaviruses in their lifetime. Young children are very susceptible to infection. However, people can be infected many times in a lifetime.

PREVENT

There is currently no vaccine available to prevent nCoV-2019 infection. The best way to prevent infection is to avoid contact with this virus.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
Avoid close contact with sick people.
Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces that are frequently touched.

DISCLAIMER OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH

People with nCoV infection have acute symptoms:
- Cough, fever, shortness of breath,
- May progress to severe pneumonia, progressive acute respiratory failure and death, especially in people with chronic illness, immunodeficiency.
Remarkably, there is no specific medicine and no vaccine for this disease.

 Preventing diseases in the community

Wear a mask and seek medical attention immediately after breathing symptoms occur.
Personal hygiene: Wash your hands often with soap and water or with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, especially when sneezing, coughing or wiping your nose.
Cover your nose and mouth when sneezing and coughing, and put tissues and napkins into a separate trash can with a lid.
 Ensure adequate diet. No smoking.
Sanitation: Maintain a good atmosphere in a residence or workplace. Avoid contact and gather in crowded, airy places.
Limit direct contact with pets and wildlife.
 Vaccination is complete.

 Prevention of infection in hospitals

Strictly implement the flow of examination, isolation and treatment of patients, measures to prevent and treat infectious diseases for health workers, caregivers and other patients at human treatment facilities. The disease is under the guidance of the Ministry of Health.
In particular, an isolation area is organized as follows:
High-risk areas:  Where to treat and care for patients with suspected or confirmed new infection with corona virus. This area must have a red board with the "Special isolation area" and detailed instructions hanging at the entrance, with guards.
Risk areas: A  place where people are more likely to have a coronary infection who are new to primary care and treatment (such as respiratory medicine, emergency care, medical examination, etc.). This area must have detailed instruction boards hanging at the entrance and have yellow symbols.
Patients should be isolated and treated at health facilities, minimizing complications and deaths. The time of isolation until the end of clinical symptoms.
Patients without breathing difficulties should use medical masks properly when in contact with other people to limit the spread of disease ...END=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.22/3/2020.
