Studying the Wrong Way to Choose The Way Will Lead To Lazy Boredom Without Results
In Buddhism, the choice of the practice is very important, if you choose the method that is not appropriate to the inborn quality, it will be very difficult to practice, not only will not bring the desired results but sometimes causing body and mind to produce obstacles.
For lay Buddhists, temporarily choose for themselves a method, but do not understand the profound meaning of the disciplines they are studying, awareness of the disciplines of the method as well as how to practice in a superficial way. On the other hand, or cultivating according to his or her own taste, cultivating by feeling, cultivating in obstinate opinion with limited vision ... That's why the practice does not bring results, leading to laziness and depression.
Once you have asserted yourself a suitable method of cultivation and adapted to your living conditions, it is important for Buddhists to first study your mind so that you really penetrate the dharma path thoroughly. , ultimately. Because this is the key to open the door to practice, to leisurely enter the Dharma house, deliberately step up the enlightenment ladder, leisurely confidently untie all the bonds of suffering, proceed to escape. from samsara. This study is very necessary because it destroys all the inherent stubborn ideas inherent in each of us, moreover the penetration of the practice is extremely important for the entire life of study.

Buddha was born as a talented physician, depending on the sick beings that give medicine. We must know our own condition and choose the right remedy accordingly. The immense Buddha Dharma is endless, we should choose for ourselves a dharma practice that is appropriate to our inborn quality and adapted to our living conditions and circumstances. In fact, there is no medicine more precious than any medicine, nor is there any method higher than any discipline. Eighty four thousand Buddha's disciplines are all meant to cure the mind of sentient beings. The main purpose is to help sentient beings realize their own pure mental duty. If beings believe, relying on diligent practice, steadfastness in a dharma can still take the liberation of samsara. However, some people think that all the Buddha's teachings are taught equally, are practical and bring great benefits to sentient beings, so it can be used as a means of cultivation. Again, no means are more valuable than any other means, all with the same purpose of liberating samsara, so try to learn as many disciplines as possible.
Because of this misconception, many practices at the same time lead to the disorder of mindfulness, in the Zen house, the case is called a "fire." This is a taboo for those who are directed to the dharma practice of liberation. Why? In fact, using many means at the same time or practicing many methods at the same time, it is like eating too much food at the same time, this will lead to food shortages, indigestion, gas, bloating and bloating. ..
It is especially important for our practice to choose a method, to understand the discipline we are practicing and rely on the ability and strength to allow the practice to be permanent. We should not eat too much food that we have never fully understood the food that we are about to put in the stomach, we should not eat it in a hurry, eat carelessly, do not touch where to eat, because eat like so it will be useless, counterproductive. Also, let us not see someone who practices Zen and imitate Zen practice, don't see other people who practice Pure Land and turn to practice in the Pure Land without knowing what kind of body they are suitable for.
In fact, everyday life, for the body, for our five organs, at least we have to understand at what temperature it is suitable to wear a warm coat, or to take a bath to solve it. heat. Why do we only crave rice and not eat bread as often as Westerners? We must be aware that this is because our digestive tract only digests the rice and does not easily adapt regularly to foods made from starches. We have the same spirit or temper, some people are patient, some are impatient, hurry, some are fast, some are slow. So, in the same way, we can only choose a method that is suitable to our roots, because if we choose wrong, it will certainly lead to the practice for many years without bringing any results. fruit. On inquiry, research, Learning we may have learned a lot, but it is not sure that we have understood much, if we already understand it is not necessarily that we are properly aware and easy to implement (even if we want to). Understanding and doing what you understand are two different things. Just as we eat a lot and drink a lot, but whether we can digest it or not is clearly two different problems. In spiritual practice, we need to pay attention to this issue.

Buddha like a great physician prescribes medicine according to each sick child. The Buddha has many kinds of medicine and in the Tripitaka the Buddha always made clear the effects of each means, the part where we are sick, we must first know what our illness is, then accept it according to the condition Well, no one can do it for us.
In our daily lives, do we try to identify, precious ginseng roots or precious humus leaves? END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.24/3/2020.
