TRIAL AND SHORT TRIAL. At one time, the Blessed One was staying at Sàvatthi, at Jetavana, at the monastery of Anathapindika. A young man, Subha Todeyyaputta, went to the Blessed One and, after greeting and greeting him, sat down to one side, and said to the Blessed One: Venerable Gotama, what is the cause and what is the cause and condition between humans, we see someone short life, some people long life…? So, young man, listen and ponder carefully, I will say: Here, young man, there is a woman or a man who kills, is cruel, has blood on his hands, has a mind dedicated to killing, wounding, non-compassionate mind towards all kinds of sentient beings. Because of that kamma, after death, he is reborn in the evil realm, the evil destination. If he is reborn as a human, his life will be short. But here, young man, is there a woman or a man who abstains from killing, abstains from killing, gives up his staff, and puts down his sword, knowing goodwill, having compassion, live compassionately to the happiness of all sentient beings. Because of that kamma, after death, he is reborn in a good destination, in the heavenly world. If he is reborn as a human, he will have a long life. DISCLAIMER: Each person living in the world has a different status and life span. Some people live long and healthy lives, while others suffer from illness, accidents, or even premature death. The cause of the difference in life span between long-lived and short-lived people is that their karmic actions in the past and right now are different. If a person commits a lot of killing karma without loving-kindness, his or her life will be shortened by the evil retribution for killing. On the contrary, those who live in the world without killing, know how to protect and respect life, rich in loving-kindness towards everyone and all species, that person will be blessed with a long life. The cause and effect of life span is very clear and transparent, no powerful or supernatural being has the right to govern and decide human life. It is people who decide their own fate through their own created karma. In order to improve karma, especially killing karma, to increase the blessings of life, each person should practice developing loving-kindness. Only compassion extinguishes hatred; only the undiscriminating and unconditional love of compassion can resolve all contradictions and conflicts. In the context of war, terrorism, violence and murder spreading all over the world, evil karma of killing is raging, Buddhists must be deeply aware of the consequences of killing karma, make every effort to call and fight fight for peace. At the same time, self overcome killing karma by practicing vegetarianism, protecting the environment, respecting life, cultivating and spreading seeds of compassion to everyone. L 2- VUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAN At one time, the Blessed One was staying at Sàvatthi, at Jetanava, in his garden Anàthapindika. Then the bhikkhu Kokāliya went up to him, bowed down, sat down to one side, and said to the Blessed One: World-Honored One, Sariputta and Moggallana are evil desires, conquered by evil desires. Hey Kokāliya, don't do that! Hey Kokāliya, don't do that! O Kokāliya, let your mind be steadfast in regard to Sariputta and Moggallana. The sages Sariputta and Moggallana. For the second time, the bhikkhu Kokāliya said to the Blessed One: Venerable Sir, although the Blessed One has faith and confidence, for me, Sàriputta and Moggallana are evil desires, conquered by evil desires. (The Blessed One has advised Kokāliya three times as above). Then the bhikkhu Kokāliya arose from his seat, bowed down to the Blessed One, and departed. Bhikkhu Kokāliya passed away not long ago, his whole body emerged with pimples as big as a mustard seed; after growing to the size of a mustard seed, they grow to the size of a pea; after growing to the size of a pea, they grow to the size of a stone; after growing up with a stone, they grow to be the size of an apple… They eventually broke open, and pus and blood came out. Then the bhikkhu Kokāliya passed away due to this illness. Suffering from death, the bhikkhu Kokāliya was born in the hell of the Pink Lotus, with a mind of hatred towards Sàriputta and Moggallana. DISCLAIMER: Venerable Sariputta (Sariputra) and Venerable Moggallana (Muc Kien Lien) are saints who have completely abandoned their corruption and are completely purified and liberated. As the Great Disciples of the Blessed One, the First Wisdom and the First Supernatural, these two Venerables are full of merit, wisdom and compassion, of course they are completely heartless, dwelling in the Holy Spirit. . But because of slander and insult to the saint, Kokāliya's merit and virtue were reduced, and he felt the retribution of being tortured to death by scabies. After you die, The forecast is still heavy, so he falls into hell and suffers a lot of suffering. The fact that Kokāliya suffered retribution and fell in hell for slandering the Saints has given us a lesson. When we have not participated in the Holy Spirit, we are not capable of appraising and distinguishing the saints. Therefore, care must be taken when judging, judging or expressing an attitude towards people. Today, although there are not many Saints (or there are people who hide their identities, they do not reveal themselves), but those who practice virtue and holy life are not few. However, there are still many criticisms, criticisms, detractors, even slandering practitioners everywhere. As for the true cultivators, it is possible that they can endure all that life has to offer (honor or trample) without any reaction and without hostility or retaliation. But surely those carrying malicious slander will suffer heavy retribution. We are living in the common world of saints (Fam Saints live together), and especially in the context of more and more criticisms and comments on the personalities of spiritual practitioners, we must be even more careful to avoid worthy consequences. unfortunately like Kokàliya.L 3- BEAUTIFUL AND Ugly Once, the Blessed One was in Sàvatthi, at Jetavana, his Anathapindika monastery. A young man, Subha Todeyyaputta, came to the Blessed One, and after greeting and greeting him, sat down to one side, and said to the Blessed One: Venerable Gotama, what is the cause, what is the cause, and what predestined relationship between humans we see bad people? ugly, there are beautiful people. So, young man, listen and ponder carefully, I will say: Here, young man, there is a woman or a man, angry, much resentful, being talked about a little at a time of discontent, anger hatred, opposition, and discontent. Because of that kamma, after death, he is reborn in the evil realm, the evil destination. If he is reborn as a human, he must suffer ugliness. But here, young man, there is a woman or a man who is not angry, not much offended, even though much talked about, is not angry, does not get angry, oppose and show displeasure. Because of that kamma, after death, he is reborn in a good destination, in the heavenly world. If he is reborn as a human, he will be beautiful. DISCLAIMER: Every human being is born in this world with a destiny. Everyone wants to be beautiful and likable, and no one wants to be ugly, flawed, and unsightly. However, it is the face of each individual in the present that most honestly and clearly reflects their own karma. The most basic and important factor affecting ugly appearance, Defects are karma created by impatience, anger, lack of control, anger, resistance, and dissatisfaction. No need to wait until the next life, just in the present, the above mentality and behaviors have devastated, destroyed and significantly changed the face of the angry person. On the contrary, people with joyful, peaceful, calm, tolerant and loving hearts, the beauty on their inherent appearance is multiplied by the energy of joy and harmony, and are very approachable. and friendly. Because the mind is not burned by the fire of anger, the face is not disfigured by anger, but radiant and cheerful, making them more beautiful. This is also the karma for his lovely beauty in the present and in the future. Therefore, Buddhists need to maintain mindfulness to gain self-control and calm in all situations of life. On the other hand, Nurturing and growing loving-kindness for love, forgiveness, tolerance, and especially using the heart to transform anger and anger is the art of living happily according to the Buddha's teachings. It is these things that are the materials to form the lovely, lovely look in each individual's self.L 4- RESULTS Once, the Blessed One was staying in Rajagaha, in Veluvana. At that time, Venerable Moggallana was staying at Gijjhakuta mountain, and when he came down from the mountain, he smiled. The other venerables, seeing this, asked the reason, and Moggallana replied: Here, friends, when I came down from the Gijjhakuta mountain, I saw a novice in the middle of nowhere. Y of this taste is burning red, red tops. The bowl, the belt, and the body were also burned red and red. He let out cries of pain. Hey sages, I think as follows: How rare! Such a person becomes such a being, such a yakkha. Then the Blessed One called to the bhikkhus: Once upon a time I also saw that novice, but I did not say it, because if I did, others would not believe it. Monks, that novice was an evil novice during the time when the Fully Enlightened One Kassapa preached the Dharma. Due to his mastery of evil karma, after being burned in hell for many years, with retribution remaining, he experiences such a body. COMMENTARY: It would be terrifying for anyone to see a being traveling through space with his whole body on fire, weeping bitterly. It was even more terrifying when we learned it was a Buddhist nun, a novice nun. But anything can happen, even if you are a monastic, if you are not mindful, you will fall down if you do evil. Cause and effect are inherently fair, no one can escape cause and effect, sowing the wind will reap the storm. Thing, With the wisdom of the Blessed One and the first Supernatural Moggallana and the Arahants, we can clearly see the cause and effect of sentient beings (Thien's eye), but we mortals do not. Haven't seen it, so sometimes I don't believe it or I don't believe it. Therefore, although there are many cultivators, there are very few people who are liberated from the path, and even a few people are lost. What is remarkable here is the "no talk" of the Blessed One and the smile of Venerable Moggallana. Seeing the truth of cause and effect, but it is difficult to share with ordinary people, who have thin knowledge and thick karma, except for a few cases with good conditions. There are three times of cause and effect. In the present time, there are still people who do not believe in it, let alone in the future times of birth and retribution. But it is certain that doing evil will be repaid by evil. The novice created bad karma in the past Buddha's time, but in the World Honored One's time, there was still a residual report, burning the yaksha ghost, starving and suffering, crying bitterly while traveling in the middle of nowhere. This fact warns us to always be wary of evil, even as small as a hair. The evil retribution will follow the evildoer like a shadow in the image, like "the wheel follows the animal that draws the cart", no matter who that person is. L 5- TWO TYPEs of Sin Once, the Blessed One was staying in Sàvatthi, in the garden. Mr. Anathapindika. There the World-Honored One called to the bhikkhus: "Monks, there are two kinds of offenses. how is two? Sin has results now and sin has results in the next life. What is sin with immediate results? Monks, when he saw that the king had caught a thief and an incompetent, he applied many other wrong punishments. They were beaten with whips until they were beheaded. Seeing that, he immediately thought: Because of doing evil deeds, he will be punished like this. Think so, he is afraid of sin in the present. And, bhikkhus, what is the result of sin in the next life? Here, someone considers as follows: The retribution of evil body, speech, and mind, after the breakup of the body, after death, one must be reborn in an evil realm, an evil destination, and a hell. Thinking thus, he is afraid of sin in the next life. Therefore, bhikkhus, it is necessary to learn the following: We should be afraid of sin with results now and in the next life. We must see the danger and stay away from sin. DISCLAIMER: Cause and effect in life is inherently very precise and clear, whatever cause you sow, you will reap. The Buddha also taught: Whether going up a high mountain or going down an abyss, karma cannot be avoided. Due to the correct perception of cause and effect, the Buddha's son is always cautious in his own actions, words and thoughts. The process from cause to effect, It can happen in the present, but it can also happen in the near or far future. Just observing in the present, we can also easily recognize the immediate consequences of evil deeds such as theft, car racing, smoking, adultery, persecution, harm, smuggling, embezzlement... leads to arrest, prosecution, imprisonment and execution. In addition to the sins that have results in the present, there are countless evil deeds that will have bad results in the future. People often fear the present retribution and despise the future retribution. Therefore, those who have committed crimes but have not been detected or have "landed safely" enjoy leisurely, as innocently as innocent people, even smugly chuckle. The truth is not like that, the conscience is always tormented and the retribution will come to those people, it is impossible to escape. Therefore, Buddhist learners clearly see cause and effect, so they are always afraid of retribution. determined not to do evil, to stay away from sin. Belief in cause and effect, fear of retribution in this life and future lives will contribute to the formation of personality and morality for each person. Society will be peaceful, good and develop more stable when each person has the correct perception of cause and effect and karma. Then the householder Anathapindika went up to the Blessed One, bowed down to him, and sat down to one side. The Blessed One said to the householder Anāthapindika: There are these four things, householder, pleasant, pleasing, agreeable, and difficult to obtain in the world. how is four? Hope that property arises for us in the right way; hope that a good name is spread about me, along with my relatives; hope that we have a long life, long life span; I hope that when the body breaks up after death, we will be reborn in the good realms, in the heavens and in this world. These are the four dharmas that are pleasant, pleasant, agreeable, and difficult to obtain in the world. Hey Homeowner, As for the four dharmas that are pleasant, pleasing, agreeable, and difficult to obtain in this world, there are four dharmas that lead to the realization of those dharmas. how is four? It is full of faith, full of precepts, full of generosity, and full of wisdom. DISCLAIMER: In life, everyone wishes to be full, prosperous and prosperous. Not only that, they also wish to have a good name, good health and long life, furthermore hope that after leaving the world, they will be reborn in a peaceful world. Those longings are righteous, good, but hard to come by, because not many people have enough blessings. Often we gain one and lose the other. However, having something to gain is also very valuable, because around us there are many people who have nothing to lose. It is the ups and downs of glory and humiliation in life, the experience of gain and loss that is there and there that makes us realize the value of merit and virtue. "If you have talent, you can rely on it." there are many things but who can guarantee that they are ours forever? Only deep merit and virtue can bring peace and happiness in this volatile life. It is not by chance that our forefathers have drawn valuable life experiences "Blessed, virtuous to enjoy". That merit is the continuation of the wisdom of the Blessed One, applied in daily life through practical manifestations: having full faith, morality, generosity and wisdom. Belief in the Three Jewels is the source of all merit and virtue. Because the three precious thrones, the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha are the bright torches that illuminate the path to all good paths. If we firmly abide in the pure faith of the Three Jewels, we will automatically establish a virtuous, honest and joyful life with almsgiving and open our hearts to everyone. Know how to live with faith, morality and letting go, live for yourself and others, live with present and future happiness, that is wisdom. Therefore, the wish for happiness of Buddhists is not just a dream, vague belief, asking someone to bless, but must accumulate and build blessings for themselves by living well every day, every hour. . Once the merits and virtues are complete, all things will be accomplished according to their wishes, peace and lasting happiness.
