The Buddha preached the Mahakayapa Sutra to save a poor old woman, and her mother was nearly eighty years old. , but looking at his appearance, he felt very light and relaxed, when asked, he knew that he was still trading. The goods are not very valuable, a few dozen fresh areca, a few curls of green betel nut, lime, douche cake, charm paper... It seems that the rhythm of life seems monotonous, yet he finds himself happy, happy not because of the income. Because he is high, he engraved in his heart a "sacred" sentence for himself: "If you sell 10 dong, keep 5 dong, and 5 dong give it to the needy." I would like to introduce to you Buddhists this period, the Sutra of the poor old woman giving alms was born in heaven, or said,Sutra on Mr. Mahākāyapa's saving a poor mother (Buddha's theory of Mahākāyapa's saving a poor mother's sutra 佛說摩訶迦葉度貧母經 'Sūtra on Mahākāśyapa's saving a poor mother') 1 volume, Mr. nabatdala . Summary of the content of the sutra: Once, the Buddha was in the country of Savat, giving a sermon to the king, mandarins, people, monks, great Bodhisattvas, gods, dragons, ghosts, etc. to listen. At that time, Mr. Maha Kassapa alone went to the city of Vuong Xa to teach. He often brings blessings to sentient beings. He did not beg the rich, only the poor. Before going for alms, he often meditated to see which poor people should sow blessings? He knew that there was an old woman in the city of Vuong Xa, because the previous life did not create blessings, so she had to suffer poverty and loneliness in this life, living day by day in a pile of dirty garbage. he is forever lost." That morning,There was a bourgeois maidservant who brought foul rice water to pour, the old woman immediately came to beg. Mr. Kassapa went to the old woman and said, "Give me some food and I will be blessed." The old woman was surprised: “In this country I am the poorest, eating and drinking with hunger; Clothes are not enough to cover the body, why give alms to the venerable?" Mr. Kashyapa said: “Madam! I came here to help the poor. If she has the heart to give, then she will no longer be a poor person... People in this world are greedy for money and do not want to give, in the next life they will suffer poverty. Must believe in sins, right and not wrong!" The old woman hesitated to ask: - Would you please accept some of this foul rice water? – Good luck! Rather good! Mr. Kassapa accepted the offering and then prayed for the old woman to be blessed with good fortune. He immediately drank the bowl of rice water in front of the old woman, so that she would not suspect that he had brought it elsewhere. The old woman's heart rejoiced. Mr. Kashyapa asked again:- Do you want to make a wish? Being a rich person in the world, or becoming a Holy King, or the Four Heavenly Kings, I-likes[1]… all will be as desired. - I vow to bring this little blessing to be born in heaven. Mr. Kassapa suddenly disappeared. On that day, the old woman also passed away, was reborn in the second Dao-loi heaven[2], resplendent in majesty, and shook heaven and earth. The God-like God was startled and appalled, using his celestial eye to contemplate, knowing that the goddess had merit, it was due to the predestined predestined life to make offerings to Mr. Kassapa. God God-like to think, how do we have to go down to Jambudvipa[3] to meet Mr. Kassapa to create blessings!? De-Thich immediately and Thien Empress put delicious food in small jars, descended to Vuong Xa city, built a shabby little house on the roadside, transformed into a poor old couple, poor and poor, doing mat weaving. Maha Kassapa on his way back from his alms round, see the poor stand begging for alms. The old man said: - I am too poor to have anything, how can I give it? Mr. Kassapa prayed for a long time not to go. Seeing that, the old man said: - My wife and I have just asked for some food, heard that the sage is a benevolent and virtuous person, only begging for food from the poor, wanting to sow blessings to the poor. We would like to give alms to the Sage to be blessed. Mr. Kassapa gave the bowl to receive and then prayed for the benefactor. The scent of heavenly food is not worldly food, the fragrance wafts through the city of Vajrayana. Mr. Kassapa doubted and immediately entered the samadhi to know the Truth-like transformation. While he was meditating in meditation, he and his wife aged back to the body of Sakka, flew straight up into the air, extremely happy. The Buddha said to Ananda: That poor old woman, all the world has no equal, although giving little, but receiving much blessings.Because of suffering, starting a sincere heart will receive immeasurable blessings. Like Emperor Thich in the heavenly world, enjoying such happy retribution, he also renounced his precious throne, planted blessings, and received unpredictable blessings. Therefore, the Tathagata says that giving is first. People like that are rare. You must widely proclaim this true statement of the Tathagata. The Buddha preached the Mahakayapa Sutra to save the poor old woman. Conclusion: The Buddha contemplated that the poor man in Alavi village was about to attain enlightenment, but he was hungry, the Buddha asked the villagers to feed him. After eating, the Buddha preached the Dharma, and when he heard it, he immediately attained the fruit of Stream-entry. The Buddha taught that “There is no disease as unpleasant as hunger.” Hunger and poverty easily separate people from the spiritual life, whether the Buddha was still alive or in modern society today; That is also the biggest concern during the Buddha's life. With boundless love, Buddhism always comes to them, does not wait for them to come to him, so Kassapa's wish only begs the poor, not the rich. Although it looks callous, forcing them to give them their food, in fact, that vow is to save them, help them break their greed and greed, and liberate them from the poverty of the next life. After making offerings to Mr. Kassapa, the old woman did not wish for anything, just wanted to be born in heaven. Because being born in the heavens (born in heaven) is a fairly common belief among ancient Indians, that anyone who does good will be born in heaven, enjoy ultimate pleasure, and escape samsara. Later this thought was introduced into Buddhism, there are a number of scriptures that talk about the theory of birth and heaven. The poor old woman gave some foul rice water, and God-like to offer some heavenly food, she received unpredictable blessings... Here,The sutras do not measure, compare the quality of the alms-giving, but mean a sincere heart of giving and the mind of giving away is free from contamination. At the same time, the Buddha also clearly taught in the Phuoc Dien Sutra (Middle A-Ham q.30), the Student (below A-la-Han), the Uneducated (A-la-Han) in life, worthy of respect; They cultivate the right body, mouth, and mind. They are also good fields for the home. They will receive great blessings. The mind is also righteous, it is a good field for the home, offering is great blessing.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.22/6/2022.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
