There are new and old boredom, Whenever they come into contact, they fall in love, considering men and women in the world are just tools to satisfy our desires, sexual misconduct arouses. Jealousy of each other, killing each other, harming the body, humiliating parents, all kinds of evil arose, a hundred virtues were all ruined! The sin of filial piety is nothing more serious! Considering the source, isn't it from the lustful concept of husband and wife? Therefore, I say, “Those two sentences are contrasting, but actually complement each other well.” Those who do not know [this reason], still want to forcefully distinguish the word lust into evil and right. [Doing this], can it be said that one has deeply grasped the will of the ancients? The [Vien Giac] Sutra teaches: "All sentient beings have their lives because of lust. Sex comes from craving, life comes from sex. Sentient beings love life, still because of sex as the root. Know that samsara is based on craving.” The sutras also teach: "Because of the sense of sensuality, arouse discord. The scene is contrary to the mind of love, so jealousy arises, creating all kinds of karma. Therefore, he is reborn in hell, a hungry ghost." Because of these things, knowing sex is a great disaster in human life, at first, there is no distinction between right and wrong! But since beginningless time, we have had this body because of craving. Family prison has been formed, karma roots are difficult to eliminate! The Tathagata has mercy, still opens the means, accepts that those who do not indulge in sexual misconduct still have their bodies in lotus flowers (the Sutra says: "If you do not violate another's wife, you will be reborn in a lotus flower"). . I say these things here, not to force people to do the impossible thing of "strict abstinence", but really to want like-minded people to know: one who is greedy for sensual pleasures in a private room, If you don't care about the common sense of morality, it is paradoxical, let alone those who love to roam [carnal pleasures] outside, consider it a common thing! Therefore, after deducing, I know: Although I try to abstain from sexual misconduct, it is still [obeying] one of the five precepts of the Human Vehicle. If you still love to chase [the flesh], it will be difficult to avoid drowning in the three evil paths. If we don't correct our mistakes, harm our children and grandchildren, and become contaminated with great religion, the crime is not light! One is to uphold precepts. When people's thoughts are not good, they are evil. Human enjoyment, if not a blessing, will be a disaster. The way of heaven inflicts harm on harlots, not those who repent. It is true that at first you are confused, in the end you are enlightened, calamities will leave, and blessings will follow. But after repenting and receiving the precepts, one must be cautious and cautious like entering a deep forest, like stepping on thin ice, until the end of the world[109], then can tell the god that he is innocent. If, after receiving the precepts, again violate the precepts, the oath will be first, the majestic spirit of the gods will be behind, will surely suffer, there is no cure. As if he had just recovered from typhoid, he ate flesh-and-blood food, and when an old illness arose, Definitely can't live! I just hope that like-minded people, take refuge wholeheartedly, always [reservedly, cautiously as if] in front of gods, thinking about disaster every moment. The ancients said: “Once [a mistake] is too much, is it okay to do it again?” What if I swore an oath, is it like a child's play? The second is to persevere in faith. Everyone who receives the precepts should know that everyone's destiny is different. Just like the soil has color, it rains and dew, which is not different, cultivated by the cultivator, but there are trees that are skewed and shaded. The right to cultivate and protect is from heaven, but it is really up to us to cultivate and deviate. Evil people who enjoy extraordinary blessings are not necessarily true blessings! Maybe it was to make the calamity worse. If not, it is due to the ancestors or the deep good roots of previous lives. Good people suffer for no reason, not necessarily the real disaster, maybe because of that to make your achievements even more beautiful. Otherwise, [those calamities] are due to good karma and unjust deeds in the previous life. Just hope that people in the world, if they encounter favorable circumstances, be more diligent. If you face adversity, be even more courageous, the end [good or bad] is all by yourself!
