Do you have an idea of the infinite and an idea of possession and you think owners and two opposing ideas
In addition to the world that we can describe, there is a different kind of world anymore. All accounts of reality are limited expression of emptiness in the world. However we bind ourselves in accounts there and think that they are real. That's a mistake because what is described is not the true count and when you
Many Buddhists this mistake. That is why they accept the Scriptures or the word of Buddha. They think that the Buddha is the most precious and how to preserve the word of Buddha's mind what He said. But what the Buddha says just
As "inane" a cup of water does not mean the empty cup of it. As "inane" means there is a pure experience, direct, do not rely on the shape or color of things. Therefore our experience totally de-stress our preconceptions, our ideas about things, the idea of big or small, round or square. Round or square, large or small is not real computer which is just the notion. As for "empty" the cup of water is such that. We have no idea what the whole country although we see water.
When we analyzed our experience, we have ideas about time
We do inane ideas on big or small, good or bad out of our experience because of the way the measurement we use are usually based on ego. When you say good or bad, the measure is yourself. And the measure was not the only one. Each person has a different metric. So I'm not saying that the measure is always wrong, but we tend to use the measure of our ego when we analyse or have idea of that something. What part of that ego need to de-stress go. Want to de-stress that part goes then we must rally and will become accustomed to accepting things as it inherently so, don't think about big or small, good or bad.
When painters or writers like to describe their direct experiences, they can draw or write. But if their experience was so strong and pure, they can give up any attempt to describe that experience, "Oh come on! can we bear ". That was it.
I would like to make a small garden around the House, but when I go to the Creek, he saw the great rocks and flows, I abandon him. "No, I would never try to create a garden with a stone. Better that I should clean up the Creek Tassajara, remove paper chips and twigs snapped in streams up.
In nature there is beauty beyond beauty. When you look at a part of it, you might think should rotate rocks on this side, the other on the other side of the stone and then it will become a garden complete. Because you are limited to the intrinsic properties using the measure brought down your tiny computers so have beautiful gardens and the gardens are not beautiful and you want to change a few boulders. But if you see yourself things like it had happened with a open mind won over will not need to do anything.
Themselves things which are inane but because you add to it something, should you damage your reality. So if we make things clear we will not damage them. When you sit in the way shikantaza, you don't let the sounds make a stir nhãng, don't let your mind active. That is not based on any one of the senses or your mind was and you only receive news from the world of emptiness. It is shikantaza.
Makes clear is not denied. Usually, when we reject something, we want to replace it with another one. When I refused a cup of blue, that means I want the white Cup. When you debate and reject the opinion of another person, which means that you want the person to accept your comments. Usually we do so. But now we do. By doing inane dependency the notion attributed to our ego, we get pure observation of our things. When we see and accept things as they are inherently so, we don't need to replace it with another one. That is the meaning of making inane things.
If we do not blank these things to them as they had at the time, then everything will be fine. Initially, these things are related to each other and just one, and as an owner, it extended self. Let it expand, we do inane things. When we have this attitude, we have religion without ideas about religion at all. When we did not have this attitude in the practice of religion, the religion naturally become opium. As the purity of our experience and observe things they news is so inherently understand the world of emptiness and and understand why the Buddha has left too many such teachings.
When we practice of shikantaza, we do not find anything, because when we seek a what does a notion in the fall will fray. Then we try to achieve something in order to give the notion of falling computer go further. Is that what you are doing when you try, but it is our effort to eliminate the active rules altogether. This is how we make the purity of our experience.
As you're reading, your wife you can say, "I drink a cup of tea, please?". You may answer "Oh, he's busy. Don't bother me ". When you are reading books like that, I think you should be careful. You should be ready to say, "drinking tea is now very good. You would like a cup of tea away. " Before you stop reading and drinking tea. After tea drinking is done, you continue reading.
On the contrary, your attitude is, "now you're very busy!". So as not to be good, because then your mind is not really being fully operational. Part mind you are activity active but other parts are not. You may lose balance in your activity. If that activity is reading it may not matter, but if you're writing calligraphy which mind you is not in the empty state, your work will tell you, "I'm not in a State of emptiness". So you should stop.
If you are a student of meditation, you should put to shame because you write such calligraphy. Written calligraphy is the practice of Zazen. So when you're writing calligraphy if someone said, "invite you to drink a cup of tea" and you reply, "no, thank you. I'm writing calligraphy ". Then your calligraphy will speak up, "no, that's not true". You can't lie to lie to yourself.
I want you to understand the work we are doing at the Meditation Centre. Sometimes meditation as a way of working out why also, to make the meditation are stronger and let your breath calm and more natural. Perhaps that is also part of the meditation, but when we say so then the set shikantaza is not what we want to talk to. When we get the news from the world of emptiness, then our practices are the result.END=VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTMENT.WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN LOTUS MONASTERY=THE EIGHTFOLD PATH.NAM MO SAKYA MUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.22/12/2014.
