The Buddha begged:

Although Buddha prevented three times, Nagasamala did not obey. Finally, he left the Buddha bowl in the middle of the road and went to his left hand according to his preference. The Buddha collected the bowl, alone towards the face.
On another occasion, Mekhida, the attendant, followed the Buddha through the village of Chanh-tu, Ba-chi-ná-oàn-sá. In the morning, he begs for alms. Upon returning, seeing a luxuriant, cool mango garden, the master arose the intention to come here to meditate, so he asked the Buddha's permission.
Buddha advised to prevent three times.
But the Median teacher dabbled with words, left the Buddha alone and left for the mango garden to practice. But the teacher completely failed. The mind of the teacher is confused and hopelessly moving. The evil thoughts, such as the thinking about craving, about harassment, about resentment, emerge violently, even though the state of temporary silence, the teacher cannot find it.
Finally had to return to Buddha. The Buddha not only did not mind the near-blasphemous actions of his teachers, but on the contrary, admonished the mother with words:
-Ma-co-dá Oh, capital disturbance, hard to keep, difficult to teach. The intellectual class actively rectifies, making it skilled as a sharpshooter. On this maze, the mind is constantly chasing after the external scene, especially the five sensations like fish like water. Therefore, if caught on the shore, he will not move in peace. Though the mind is difficult to teach, if taught, it will be able to surrender to the Demon King.
The Blessed One does not want to prevent the disciples' work of enlightenment, but because he sees clearly that the root of enlightenment has not come to an end, he will advise it.
During the first 20 years of his enlightenment, between 35 and 54 years of age, the Buddha did not have any Sravakas as fixed attendants: when U-boss-masked, when -man-nag-assistant, when Su-nak-kht-duk, when Sa-san-san, when Rathá-sensei, when Na-gá-sá-ma-la or Mistera-daw were acting superficially, There is Sadi Chujun, his disciple Venerable Xa Loi Phat.
Because there is no attendant who regularly translates, the Buddha suffered extremely hard. The attendants reluctantly took turns serving Him in a forced, disqualified manner.
The problem of attendant is a necessary and reasonable, because the Buddha has a lot of Buddha things to do, alone can not complete everything, so he really needs an attendant. For example, in addition to the 5 things that often practice the Buddha, he has to update and receive meetings from all directions, from upper kings to ordinary people, from monks to lay people. Buddhist women. As a Buddha, he was not allowed to host female guests alone. That's not to mention the occasional Buddha retreat, not to anyone. In that case, of course, all Buddhas are handled by the attendant.
The important and necessary attendant problem is that. We should not inadvertently misunderstand or deliberately misrepresent that the Buddha wants to be too personal and guilty.
For the reasons just mentioned, once, at Ky Vien Vihara, the capital of Sabbath-thi and Co-sa-la before the large number of monks and nuns, the eldest monks, had both the great disciple Xa Loi Phat and Maudgalyayana, the Buddha mentioned the problem of attendant:
Hey Bhikkhus, the Tathagata is already old, some of the teachers because of personal preference should have left the Tathagata alone or left the Tathagata's bowl on the ground and leave casually. Therefore, Tathagata asked monks to select Tathagata a fixed attendant.
Monks were deeply moved, Venerable Xa Loi Phat spoke first to volunteer as an attendant.
The Buddha expressed joy and taught:
- Hey Xa Loi Phat, you shouldn't. Because wherever he is, benefit to that place. His teachings are not different from those of Tathagata. He has the ability to turn the dharma like Tathagata. Those who are close to talk to the teacher as well as be close to talk with Tathagata.
Other Venerable Elders also volunteered to be assistants, but the Buddha refused. Only Venerable Ananda sat quietly. Venerable Xa Loi Phat encouraged:
- Mr. David, why do you sit quietly?
- Venerable, the position that I begged or volunteered, I thought not very noble. Moreover, His Holiness knew my mood well. If so, the Blessed One will appoint me in that ministry. Goodwill as well as my feelings how, His Holiness is consistent.
The hall was silent. Without a movement. Not a word. An absolute silence almost the hall has no people.
In the midst of that atmosphere, the Buddha solemnly confirmed the role of Venerable Ananda:
Hey Bhikkhus, Ananda has had the intention of being a Tathagata attendant for a long time. Today's confirmation is only for the purpose of publicizing the role of Albanian attendant. Starting from this moment, Anadda is the official and permanent attendant of Tathagata.
This gesture is really beautiful. In fact, the Buddha did not need to publicly declare the role of Venerable Ananda's attendant, but that he could choose it alone. But the Buddha intended to promote goodness, the intention of Venerable, and formalize an important role, with a fixed nature. In fact, the Venerable Anan has established merit and practiced the Brahmin in many hundred lifetimes just to achieve the happiness of being an attendant, a position which is not great but extremely honorable. . Venerable Ananda is a self-respect, far-sighted, paulist, star-star. Therefore, after being entrusted with the responsibility by the Buddha and the Sangha, the Buddha asked to be exempt from the following cases:
1- Please Buddha, don't grant new, beautiful and expensive medicine to David.
2- Don't ban the delicacy of food.
3 - Do not let Ananda to live together in retreat.
4.Don't let David accompany you to the places that Buddha promised.

Venerable Anandan continued:
- Venerable Sir, the disciple asks the Blessed One to grant the following privileges:

2- Please allow the disciples allowed to lead Buddhists to worship the Blessed One.
3- Allow white disciple to ask doubts in any case.
-Andadana, how do you feel that such a request?
- White Blessed One, the disciple asked that way to prevent criticism, thinking that issues with a social nature that the disciple could not do, then what does the position of an attendant do?
Venerable transparency:
- Blessed One Blessed, one last privilege, may the Blessed One be mercifully approved, that is:
4 - May the Blessed One rejoice to repeat the teachings that the absent disciple cannot hear.

The Blessed One accepted the eight required clauses of Venerable Ananda and the Venerable Anan also began to receive the official attendant role that day.
At that time, the Buddha enjoyed 55 years of age, 20 years of religion while Venerable Anan was 55 years of age, 19 years of religion.
The palace of Ca-la-protect
