If we just practice a little Dharma, try to practice with sincerity and motives for the benefit of all beings. If not, it is better to abandon all styles practiced false nature temporary, high-ego problem, because if we practice Dharma itself will distort it deep into confusion and ignorance.
There are people who will only think of the Dharma as a cure to be used when they are misled or disappointed. Of course, according to Buddhism, this is not the real purpose of the practice of spiritual practice. So these people just practicing Falun until feel calm, and then put aside the practice and forget all that practice. Next time, when falling into frustration, boredom, he left practice to feel a little more balance back. Naturally regain the balance of themselves in this way is one of the secondary purposes of the practice of practice, but that is not the true purpose of the practice of Buddhist practice. This is a way to use Buddhism as Buddhism is a kind of therapy. We can choose this way, but I think it can not lead us to enlightenment.
When a little bored, we practice Dharma, the mind is peace, when the frustration, we again practice, feel comfortable, and then continue down. If we continue with a very short-sighted perspective so I will not achieve any progress in the practice practice. "I did not sleep last night - my mind was agitated, and kept barking dog next door forever. Now I feel a bit upset mind, so I need to practice a retreat to regain balance. This morning I will meditate ". You should not practice this way. The practice of Buddhism is not serving the purpose of looking for more comfort. Complete benefits of spiritual practice is to liberate. Practitioner himself through the realization and also to free other beings through compassion capacity.
Self loving attitude hinder a practitioner to achieve progress on the path of spiritual practice
So what hinder a practitioner to achieve progress on the path of spiritual practice? It is the selfish, self loving attitude. We need to be cautious on this point. Many meditators practiced for many years. They have done many times in retreat, and it seems they may have achieved a state of peace and happiness. It is possible to achieve the goal of practice time is to be peace first. But if the practitioner that really tested myself to see if they were nurtured by compassion or not, or the selfishness of the practitioner that has undercut or not, then I think that can only ten percent of the practitioner that has attempted to achieve this next step. The remaining practitioners are stopped in a state of peace. Therefore, it is very important is the need to control ourselves and recognize our selfishness, to the word, can remove it and continue the practice.
We need to recognize the finding "feeling better" is an identifiable secular purpose, but has temporarily assume the names of Buddhism and use the practice of Buddhism to meet interim goals ego. A profane purpose to gain personal benefits only to "feel better". We can use spiritual practices to achieve this, a good reason is the spiritual practice in Buddhism more effective than other methods. If we are going down this path, we just practice a little of spirituality and pretend spiritual practice sincerely as saying "I have taken refuge in the Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha, should I was certain that the pure ". Pretend this type, which is to conceal the purpose of the ego-oriented material.
Trends for the most satisfying time hinder the teaching practice
Today, we have the individual freedom: we can earn money and take care of themselves. Even so, we still have other problems hinder Buddhist practice, and one of the obstacles or generated a trend that seeks the most satisfying time. There are a lot of things and circumstances can bring us the most satisfying time. This stuff itself nothing wrong, but wrong in that the sinking heart we accept and be bound to them. This is the main obstacle in the practice.
All we seek peace; no one does not like peace. But if we do not merge wisdom and peace, we will not be able to purify and eradicate ignorance renders these obstacles in mind. Therefore, all that we will achieve only a temporary state of peace in that moment, and our mind, our attention not experience much suffering, rather than the fruits of liberation of the path. Thus, if all we want is to have only a temporary peace without the altruistic motive of compassion, all of these efforts, our efforts will bring selfishness , for ourselves. That means we're going to get a peace brought selfishness. That peace is like a temporary pain reliever. Meditation only becomes a pain reliever. We say to myself: "I need to do to get happy ... his mind is difficult to control ... I have to find peace ... his energy imbalance right now, so his meditation on peace". Such is fine, but only became a kind of meditation pain. Such practice would not be able to achieve the purpose of liberating true because we lack wisdom guided and non-motorized compassion.
Whether you just practice a little Dharma should also try to practice with sincerity
To make real progress in the practice of Dharma practice, we also need to cultivate genuine motivation to practice. "I want to practice meditation to purify the obscurations, ignorance and transform my enemy is the ego, to bring benefits to all sentient beings." If you have been a motivation to practice, practice so you will make progress on the path to enlightenment, rather than toward the construction of a strong ego. If we do not know how to create a sincere motivation and a proper way, then France will not practice anymore than we drink a tonic to staff development for the ego stronger. When motivated false spiritual practices, with the aim to find a temporary peace, we just practice French while frustrated, bored and there was little peace when we abandon the practice and return to the active and secular ignorance.
When we practice more and more, you need to see whether the negativity of the emotions we have decreased or not? Intellectual materials are being nurtured or not? We need to return to scrutiny themselves honestly that way.
The mere fact receive teachings is not enough, which need to apply the teachings to life. At the moment, we are imprisoned in the prison of negative emotions and dualistic clinging, day after day. We could stay in prison forever this ignorance or we can use Mahamudra to break his prison confinement looking for enlightenment.
To practice the Dharma, we need to be honest with yourself and able to realize what his righteous doing. Sincerity and the righteous will give us faith in life.
