Thoughts on Buddha's knowledge.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH. The Lotus Sutra is the king of sutras because it is in the 5th period in the history of Buddhism. At that time, it was the end of the Buddha's life, so his sutras carried all of the characteristics of Buddhism and were taught by him. There are two cores of the Lotus Sutra: the Buddha-nature and the Buddha-Knowledge. Non-duality is the Eastern philosophy (I) Buddha nature has been summarized in the article recognizing Buddha nature with the same author. Knowing is knowing, seeing is seeing, knowing what is seeing Buddha? Knowing is the wisdom he teaches us and seeing is seeing the great compassion of the Buddha. That is wisdom and compassion are eagle's wings soar in practice. We study the wisdom of the whole of Buddhism in a general way to think, about compassion we have understood through the lesson I co-authored the Lotus Sutra. Buddhist wisdom consists of two parts Buddhist philosophy and application. To see Buddha is to grasp all the main points of Buddhism according to the history of time. Let's go into insight. To see Buddha is to grasp all the main points of Buddhism according to the history of time. Let's go into insight. To see Buddha is to grasp all the main points of Buddhism according to the history of time. Let's go into insight. Philosophy and application a. The principle of dependent origination: When the Buddha attained enlightenment, the first principle he explained was dependent origination: this exists, that exists, this arises, that arises, this ceases, that ceases, this does not that does not. All dharmas make conditions for each other that exist and destroy according to the law of becoming, standing and disappearing, living and perishing. There is no god who created all species. This is a core theory that runs throughout Buddhism. Application 1 is the dependent arising of karma, also known as the 12 causes and conditions. This is the principle that explains the reincarnation of human beings through 12 stages forming a closed circle over time. The West views time as a straight line from the past to the present to the future. Buddhism considers time to be a circle, whatever happens in the human universe is a closed circle, because it is closed, so there is no beginning and no end. Ignorance is the continuation of death, ignorance does not mean ignorance but consciousness but blindness, knowledge but passion. There are 5 stages in the past: Ignorance, then action, and then entering the body is the 6 doors to the body, the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and the 6 senses. A baby is born with these 3 stages right away. This is followed by exposure in the first 2 years. From contact, there is feeling, which is sensation, perception. By the age of 5 the child is at the present stage. That is Ai Thu Huu is the maturity of man. As we grow up, we begin to be conscious and responsible, so there is love, hate, pleasure, sadness, called love. From craving that leads to clinging is to embrace and hold on to it to possess it, so it is called craving and clinging, the three stages go together. The future is six years old adulthood culmination is beginning to go down. This stage is birth, old age, sickness and death, called old age and death. Conclusion 12 causes and conditions are ignorance, formations, consciousness, name and form: named after the outer appearance of things, the six bases are also known as the six senses, contact, feeling, craving, possession, existence, birth, old age and death. The stage of practice is to create karma, so it is called dependent-arising karma. Actions are very complex including body, speech, and mind that make up actions. According to the law of cause and effect at this stage of action creates karma. Karma has its own special karma and collective karma is communal karma. Karma that happens immediately is called the present karma. Karma that causes retribution in life is favorable. Karma for the next life is called pure post-karma. The 12 causes and conditions are divided into ignorance and clinging, called Laziness, and the remaining 5 results are present and 2 future results are called Suffering, resulting in suffering. Delusion is a disease of the mind, karma is the physical manifestation of that illness and the result is suffering. Karma produces results, but in the middle there is also a catalyst as a chemical reaction needs a catalyst in the middle for the reaction to take place. So the practice of changing karma is the transition in between. Changing conditions is also applying the principle of dependent origination. The second application is a re-arising. Karma by body, speech, and mind like this, consciousness has a skin-consciousness, which is a storehouse of will power, which is the action of the mind, creating action. Since then the cause of karma from a re-consciousness has a seed that arises as the cause of a dependent-arising Karma is a re-a-de-conditioned origination. Call it consciousness, only the mind is reincarnated, but there is no soul. From consciousness to manna consciousness is the ego, then stored as store consciousness, collectively known as consciousness. The third correct application is the truth like dependent origination. True likeness, also known as the Tathagata, is the Buddha-nature located in the minds of sentient beings. It is the true state of things, the source of enlightenment, the true form of dharmas. As this is the word as market as real. It is true that when all dharmas no longer have the same space and time as the formless and tranquil. True as is the Buddha-nature of the Lotus Sutra. True like dependent origination is the basis of the seed in A and dependent origination. Legs appear to appear these seeds. The fourth application is the Dharma Realm of Dependent Origination: this is the Flower Adornment Sutra, please read my lesson from the Huayan Sutra. This world is not separate but there is interference with each other and those are the four dharma realms between reason and matter. All these four reasons are compatible with each other and make conditions for each other like a matrix of birth and death. The spirit of Compassion - Selflessness of Buddhism goes hand in hand with the history and culture of Vietnam Tu-Duy-ve-tri-kien-Phat 3 b. Principle of determinism and uncertainty bất It is easy to understand that the principle has a destiny and vice versa does not. Science advocates the theory of no fate, while Confucius believes there is a destiny. Buddhism denies both. Fate thinks that there is a life and death fate, otherwise nothing is decided. Buddha said that it is due to conditions and karma that operate. All are due to the common mind that exists, so the mind leads all the dharmas in the Dhammapada, or the single-mindedly created Flower Adornment Sutra. Corresponding to Einstein's theory of conservation of energy, mass and energy conversion, the movement of matter and energy is constantly changing. Applying this principle is dependent origination, so no-self is impermanent to create the Madhyamaka treatise explained by Bodhisattva Nagarjuna. c. The principle of compatibility Reciprocity is the reciprocity of taking two opposing ideas to come to an identity. There are 3 ways of identification as different appearances but the same identity, the second way is to have opposite appearances but the same essence, the third is to have the same appearance and the same nature as water and waves. . Thus, in the dynamic there is stillness and in the static there is movement in each other. Life has Nirvana while still being alive. d. The Principle of Suchness This principle is also known as non-dualistic non-discrimination. The true state is the state with no particular conditions. This principle leads to the Madhyamaka argument that the Tathagata is attained only by denying existence and denying such idealism. The Flower Adornment does not have an independent individuality, the Lotus Sutra is so with the true entity in the essence. As she explained that when a flower is dying, a flower is being born. In death, there is a birth and death called the tiger relative to the middle way. e. Principle of Vien Dung. Please read the lesson I learned from the Flower Adornment Sutra. Vien Dung, also known as the Dharma Realm of Dependent Origination of the Hoa Nghiem Sutra, has 4 unobstructed legal boundaries between Ly and Su. According to this principle there is no existence alone or for another. This ideal world is the true Dharma Realm. f. The Principle of Nirvana or Perfect Liberation Nirvana is compared to a extinguished flame which is the state of the Buddha after passing away. The Buddha told his disciples not to cry because of the law and the law of the person who is still a human in the form of the Buddha's Dharma body. Then came the stra which was the miracle of the dhamma, and the law was created by the elders and Ananda. The collection is set up for the next period 1, 2, and 3, the first of which are the unwritten scriptures, all of which are repeated by words only. Next is the holy scriptures without embellishments and without statues. Then accept there are sutras and statues and start discussing Nirvana. The Mahaparinirvana Sutra that gave birth to this question is still a subject of discussion. Please read the article Thinking about Nirvana with the author. All talk about the state of Nirvana more than physical confirmation of a space for Nirvana, so it is called Nirvana without abode. Today's physics for curved space should have space-time positioning for Nirvana. Rejection of space-time, space-time, non-creation, no cause and effect, not affected by the wave of birth and death, there will be no Dharma Realm in the dynamic sense, but there is Dharma Realm in the static sense of True Suchness or reality. called the Nirvana state. Buddha's knowledge The Buddha's knowledge is to fully understand the wisdom Buddha taught us to go through the history of Buddhism from Theravada to Mahayana, united as the one vehicle as the Buddha vehicle of the Lotus Sutra, which is the wisdom and knowledge of the Buddha. The Buddha's knowledge is to fully understand the wisdom Buddha taught us to go through the history of Buddhism from Theravada to Mahayana, united as the one vehicle as the Buddha vehicle of the Lotus Sutra, which is the wisdom and knowledge of the Buddha. Doubt of a monk After the applied philosophy of Buddhism, we study the formation of the Mahayana about the Buddha's view. Those are issues related to Buddha-nature, Emptiness and Consciousness-Only. a. Buddha nature The Lotus Sutra is the first sutra about the Buddha-nature of sentient beings. Everyone has Buddha-nature and will cultivate to become Buddha. Buddha nature is the nature of the buddha, the truth is the true mind, the awareness is the wisdom, the Buddha is the Tathagata. The much-disputed issue is that Buddha-nature is available in us, but why are we born in ignorance without using this awareness? In the article I find the way to enlightenment with the author: In the past, the Brahmin asked the Buddha why sentient beings had the Self-Enlightenment in them but did not take it out, why were they born into ignorance? Asked 3 times Buddha did not answer, Buddha told Ananda that this question is like a human, where did it come from? Where did this universe come from? Sentient beings shot by a poisoned arrow, greed, hatred, and delusion, do not worry about antidote, but keep asking who shot this arrow? Why shoot this guy? There are many explanations for this: like when a person is born, he suffers from extreme pain because his small body is forced to pass through a woman's vagina, so the pain is too much, but he can't remember anything about his inherent awareness, and then he is reborn. emerges the discriminating consciousness that turns into ignorance. But if giving birth with abdominal surgery, will it be so painful? There is another vague explanation that when reincarnated, you have to eat rice porridge to forget all your awareness and your past. In fact, if we practice to attain the awareness called righteous enlightenment, then we will no longer be reincarnated, we will not be able to return to ignorance, Buddha taught that when the gold ore is contaminated with impurities, it is decomposed into pure gold. can not return to gold ore as before. Once you have attained Enlightenment, you can never return to ignorance, if you do not return to ignorance, you will not be forced by the cycle of 12 causes and conditions, you will no longer have birth and death, then you will be freed. Thus, only an ignorant person who is led by karma will be reincarnated as a human in the six realms of samsara, only then will ignorance be born, that is, ignorance will return to ignorance and Enlightenment cannot return to ignorance. Moreover, they have become arhats, bodhisattvas, and buddhas. Answering the brahmin question is, at the beginning of mankind, why did not keep awareness but reincarnated as ignorant? The explanation is that consciousness obscures Awareness. Thus, our awareness is available in the reincarnated consciousness, but when the baby is born, there is a neuronal current under the earth's magnetic field up to the brain to create consciousness and this consciousness comes first and then awareness comes later. , so consciousness obscures awareness. Although awareness is available in the mind to be reincarnated, but when the form body is due to the 5 aggregates, the consciousness is first due to the form, then the awareness is later, so it is obscured. This view is said to be materialistic because matter precedes consciousness. It is also possible that awareness precedes but that is only a factor of awareness. That is, ignorance returns to ignorance, but when you practice Enlightenment, you will not return to ignorance, but that Enlightenment is the awareness that is available in sentient beings, not where it comes from. The question is do sentient beings really have that awareness or not? The answer is yes. b. Emptiness Nagarjuna's Madhyamaka treatise on emptiness is encapsulated in the sentence: Whatever is caused by causes and conditions, I call it Emptiness, that is pseudo-name, that also means the middle path. Because of dependent origination, dharmas have no intrinsic nature, do not exist by themselves, but must condition each other to exist. So pseudo-name and Nagarjuna explain on the two phenomenology of conventional truth and ultimate truth. The common truth is the phenomenon of phenomena appearing, the ultimate truth is the hidden truth nature of that phenomenon. That truth must be practiced and meditated to understand. We must understand emptiness in order to attain awareness, the Madhyamaka treatise offers us to practice in a very abstract way. Because there is emptiness, all things do not stay at a fixed position of the two extremes, but move continuously between them. That is French Translation. With emptiness we never assert all phenomena in any one position. As neither false nor true, Nirvana is also worldly affliction, everything is not determined at a fixed point. As a relative phenomenon, there is an absolute within and vice versa. The Madhyamika theory does not deny the relative phenomenon but argues that the truth is not to accept it as fixed because it is conditioned by impermanence to move continuously. The denial of the Madhyamika has two rejections as final affirmation. To achieve this abstraction we practice meditation to see all things with intuitive intuition that knowledge lies below the gaze of the analytical and judgmental consciousness that leads to the ultimate truth. The middle emptiness is to receive this absolute by giving up the sense of distinction or duality, thereby realizing the voidness of self, emptiness of self, dharma. In the lecture on Tue Trung Sergeant Master Thich Nhat Hanh, he talked about emptiness as follows: The signless body of the original Mu; Illusion differentiates into dual view. Contemplating that our body depends on formlessness is the three liberations: Emptiness - Signless - Non-action. The body is the five aggregates that are dependently combined with its formless nature as Emptiness, emptiness, because the condition is dependent on each other to exist, so there is no independent self-nature, so it is called no-self. I. The Buddha taught that no-self is the absence of self, without the sign of a person is to love others, without the mark of being sentient beings are the same type of inanimate and sentient beings, without the sign of longevity is a life span without pay. Similarly, Nagarjuna says that it is through emptiness that dharmas come into being. Everything is like an illusion because of consciousness, it creates a dual view of duality. When we give up the dual boundary, we achieve no action, no action, no action, no wishlessness. This state of mind Buddha called happiness (joy). Tue Trung Thuong Sergeant has a saying: when you are confused, you see no form, when you realize you see emptiness. Delusion does not exist and form is the formless form that distinguishes itself, and when it is enlightened, form is emptiness, which is emptiness. Next is delusion and also does not distinguish clearly because intuitive intuition should stop us from discriminating duality. At that time, they have reached the empty space and the five empty eyes: the five eyes of the Buddha, the eyes of the Bodhisattva, the eyes of the gods, the eyes of the gods, and the last of the human eyes. c. Magical vacuum The miraculous existence of a vacuum was born when there was a Dharma Flower Sutra with Buddha nature. The truth of emptiness is that there is such a wonderful thing as Buddha-nature. Although it is empty, the nature of the hidden Buddha nature of sentient beings is awareness. This essence now appears under many names: Vajrayana called Vajra paramita. Sutra Vien Giac called Vien Giac. The Lotus Sutra is called the Buddha's knowledge of the Buddha or the Buddha vehicle. The Flower Adornment Sutra is called Buddha Wisdom. The Shurangama Sutra is called True Mind or Tathagata. The Vimalakirti Sutra is called the Dharma Gate of Non-Dualism. Zen Buddhism is called true nature, true likeness, dharma-body, and original face-face. To realize it is without distinction, without time, without space, Suchness, limitless in number, non-reciprocal, non-attentive, and formless. Enlightenment is like that, refusing to refuse like Zen master Suzuki said that constant refusal to come to the absolute is the yes, the strange, the wonderful, the wonderful. That is the original face of the section according to the Sixth Patriarch Hue Neng taught to the Venerable Minh. Do not think good, do not think evil, where is the face of the Venerable Master Minh? Because when the mind is normally calm and doesn't think of good and evil as moving, then we show our true face, which is enlightenment. Enlightenment is the application of the application to the birthplace of the Kim Cang Sutra, so the sixth patriarch Hui Neng said 5 unexpected things: No wonder the self-nature is pure; Where is the self-nature that does not arise and die; No wonder the self-sufficient capital; No wonder the self-nature does not fluctuate; Do not doubt the self-nature or birth of all dharmas. Enlightenment requires small enlightenment called minor enlightenment and then great enlightenment many times. Enlightenment Enlightenment is the application of the application to the birthplace of the Kim Cang Sutra, so the Sixth Patriarch Hui Neng said 5 unexpected things: No doubt self-nature is pure; No doubt the self-nature is not born and destroyed; No wonder the self-sufficient capital; No wonder the self-nature does not fluctuate; Do not expect self-nature or birth of all dharmas. Enlightenment must have small enlightenment called minor enlightenment and then great enlightenment and many times. Enlightenment must have small enlightenment called minor enlightenment and then great enlightenment and many times. d. The principle of not having 4 areas: Void, Illusion, Human void, Vacuum - Void: is space, space, atmosphere or environment. Also known as zero in the 7 greats: the country of wind and fire without knowledge. Thanks to space, all dharmas exist. According to the Shurangama Sutra, space has the nature of space and the general of space. Voidness Buddha called true awareness because awareness is real space. The void nature called the great void is the true mind of suchness, the Tathagata's viscera covering the whole world. The appearance of space is due to the karma of living beings that exist in all ten directions. Emptiness all sentient beings in the three realms cannot be found outside of the Void Nature of the True Mind. On the contrary, the Void Nature of the True Mind can't be found outside of the void, according to the Buddhist Surangama Sutra. Nature is the essence of appearances, and appearances are phenomena. Looking up at the sky we see that emptiness is the sign of space that covers the universe. - Illusion: standing on the principle of emptiness, all dharmas are not real, artificial, so it is called illusory. Illusory existence is the existence of all dharmas with a false and unreal face due to conditions arising, due to the current five aggregates. Because everything has a name that we give it from our consciousness. All dharmas are caused by the skandhas of sleep forming the universe, so are we, and because of our name, we have nama-rupa. Illusion is talking about the essence, then it is formed by the mind, it is illusory, because of karma, there is a self that has a dharma, so it is called a self dharma. Thus, if the karmic signs are erased, all dharmas will no longer be traced. All is not real, so called illusory. - The cause of emptiness: this is the cause, also known as the seed factor of the factors, is emptiness, the state of no Prajna Heart Sutra is called the sleep aggregate. - Vacuum: Bodhisatta Nagarjuna calls the Madhyamaka Commentary as the wonderful emptiness of being, and being in a miraculous way is Truth like Nirvana. Nirvana has no karmic signs of the dharmas, so there is no birth and death of dirt, increase and decrease like the Heart Sutra. The Three Seals Lang Gia Sutra and the Mahayana Commentary on the Rise of Faith both call the karmic signs of changing and manifesting the three signs of being born. The cause is created by karma, so it is called the karma that results in the transformation of the general and the appearance of the current appearance. In the vacuum world, there is no karmic sign anymore, so the Prajnaparamita Sutra is called no sign, so there is no birth, death, increase or decrease. So the true truth as the dharmata is the truth where the Buddha resides is the state of emptiness, which is emptiness through the Flower Adornment Sutra, which is the unobstructed world, so it is called the world of No Residual Nirvana. We understand this passage by understanding the formless nature while phenomena are born of formless karma. To practice is to find the real world like the dharma-nature of No Residual Nirvana. Non-duality is the Eastern philosophy (II) Knowing and seeing the Buddha is following in the footsteps of the Buddha, knowing that we are alone, but walking alone, but having the Buddha in front of us is the energy that is the golden light that leads us on the right path. Knowing and seeing the Buddha is following in the footsteps of the Buddha, knowing that we are alone, but walking alone, but having the Buddha in front of us is the energy that is the golden light that leads us on the right path. e. Idealism The mind-only ten thousand dharmas of the three realms is the only criterion of the only consciousness-only theory taught by the Bodhisattva Vo before the body and taught by Maitreya Buddha. Only consciousness was born after 700 years of Buddha's death. To solve all 5 doors, there are doors to the body including eyes, ears, nose, tongue, so where is the mind of the door to the body? Only consciousness is born that is the mind base that is Manna consciousness is the 7th consciousness also known as Ego ego of consciousness. All will go into the final consciousness, which is the stored consciousness to carry away reincarnation. Thus, the 7th consciousness is the Manna consciousness, and the 8th is the store consciousness or called A da da consciousness, the 7th is the bridge, the 8th is the hoard, so when reincarnating these two consciousnesses go to connect. other new aggregates form the person the baby is born. That's why only consciousness emphasizes practice to keep in the store of karmic consciousness and the practice of the 7th consciousness which is the self-consciousness of the ego is to practice becoming no-self. Because the self is created by us, not by nature or created by any god. We are just a stream of consciousness that goes on and on with each form. The store consciousness stores the seeds called seeds from the Aggregates of Actions, which by body, speech, and mind every moment creates seeds into the Store consciousness, which is a collection that ripens to form karma with karma. From a scientific perspective, the seed is energy, this energy is created from our actions of body, speech, and mind going from the outside into our consciousness, which is the storehouse consciousness, then any energy that is the same is piled on top of each other to create layers. consciousness. Good energy piles up good, evil energy piles up evil, non-good energy piles up without good and evil, the superposition is called training because it doesn't stay still and runs in and out non-stop. The first example is an evil intention running into the storehouse, where when there is a chance this evil intention runs out into an evil deed, runs away with no result, and many times this evil action is piled up into an evil consciousness. This layer is too much, the good consciousness is less so it is overwhelmed, after the evil karma will be strong leading to the first evil birth, but also lead to the good consciousness layer, so people are born with evil and good. Consciousness only has three basic theories called three self-nature: Turns the design of attachment, y forga-in, honest member. The dependent variable is the variable that is the change, the inheritance is the inheritance, the basis is the object, and the attachment is based on. The variable that inherits the attachment is based on the changing and inherited appearance of the object that assumes the existence has a name ie the simulation is the illusion that is distinguished. Y other-arising is y depending on other things that arise due to conditions that have, also called dependent. The sincere member is the perfect round, absolutely perfect true nature, so it is called the absolute self-nature. These three self-natures are successive in the sequence of all phenomena. Mind-only practice is turning the mind into the mind (please read the article I found the way to enlightenment with the author). Conclusion The Buddha's knowledge is to fully understand the wisdom Buddha taught us to go through the history of Buddhism from Theravada to Mahayana, united as the one vehicle as the Buddha vehicle of the Lotus Sutra, which is the wisdom to see the Buddha. The history of Buddhism from 5 stages to philosophy has 6 principles and applications. On the treatise, there is the Madhyamika and the Consciousness only theory, which gives us a summary of the structure of Buddhism as a whole. With this overview we practice knowing which path we are on, where we are standing, what achievements we are achieving, what wisdom we are having, what compassion we are carrying, what karmic actions we are carrying. . Even though we are just a moving stream of consciousness, we know the Buddha wisdom to operate this energy to get out of samsara. Through meditation, we think, understand and see the Buddha like that, so we practice smartly, don't follow trends, cultivate blindly. Knowing and seeing the Buddha is following in the footsteps of the Buddha, knowing that we are alone, but walking alone, but having the Buddha in front of us is the energy that is the golden light that leads us on the right path. When I die, I still follow in the footsteps of the Buddha with this mind, diligently trusting and following people with only one mind, only creating, my mind leads us through many kalpas, with the vow power: The Bodhisattva's Unchanging happy. Triết lý và ứng dụng a. Ứng dụng thứ hai là a lại da duyên khởi. Vì ngã do chúng ta thành lập chứ không phải tự nhiên hay do thượng đế nào tạo ra. Entering Buddha's Knowledge.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH. a. Penetration into the viscera. 'Asserting the void of the Dharma Realm, all sentient beings are the self-nature', this is the insight into the Buddha, this is the truth of the human universe. Especially in the present age, if there is no such awareness, there will be no way for us and all sentient beings to avoid accidents. If you want to know this truth, you must definitely go into the canon, but the 'canon' here is not just the Tripitaka, but any other in Buddhism, the truth contained in a can. problem solving. The truth contained in any one sutra is the same, so 'the method is equal, there is no difference'. If you study Buddhist medicine, any sutra can enter the Buddha's knowledge. As for the selection of a set of scriptures and methods of practice, it is up to each person's fate, nature, preferences and living circumstances [of each person] to disagree. Buddhas Tathagata introduces the Flower Adornment Sutra, the Lotus Sutra for those who benefit from their roots; introduced the Infinite Life Sutra for people of medium and low capacity, sentient beings with medium and low roots still account for more. Pure School Dharma is not introduced by Buddha Shakyamuni alone, but all Buddhas in the ten directions and three generations have introduced it, so is it still wrong? The problem is to penetrate the truth, the truth of the human universe contained in the sutras; If you can't penetrate, you can't suppress the mental afflictions, if you can't suppress the habitual afflictions, you will definitely create karma. It doesn't matter if you harm yourself, in the future you will go to hell, turn into an animal, that's self-restraint; but hurting so many sentient beings, this sin is very serious. Ending the Dharma body, wisdom and life of all sentient beings, there is nothing worse than this sin, because of this sin, they fall to hell. [Try to think] that person from countless kalpas to the present, this life has a human body, has the opportunity to hear the Buddha's teachings, but you cut off this fate of theirs, how serious is this sin? We must understand the deep meaning of the way of impeachment said in the Buddhist scriptures. On the contrary, helping all sentient beings have the opportunity to hear about the Buddhadharma and have the opportunity to practice and study the Buddhadharma, this is a first-class merit in the world and out of the world. Although there is a lot of money in this world, but after dying, you can't take it with you, it's true that 'all things can't be brought, only karma follows'. What can you bring? Can bring merit to help sentient beings have the opportunity to be converted. In today's society, many people have status and wealth, but they do not know these principles and truths, do not have wisdom, do not know the true causes of fetters and misfortunes, so they still cannot keep the fetters and avoid them. hung. These causes and effects are not only recorded in many ancient virtues, but if we pay attention a little bit in today's society, we can see them everywhere. Today we are fortunate to meet this predestined part, it is difficult for us to meet for hundreds of thousands of eons. If we still do not know how to seize the opportunity, we still do not know how to cultivate blessings, on the contrary, we still create karma and obstacles to this predestined relationship. , the crime is very serious. So meeting this predestination is ultimately good or bad, it's hard to say, you have to see what mind you use. If you use a good mind, you will achieve achievements for sentient beings, then that's a good thing. If you have thoughts of wanting to control yourself, If you occupy, then this predestined part will help you fall into the hell of Abhi. These are all truths, completely different on perception. b. The importance of listening to sutras How to cultivate wisdom? The only method is to listen to the sutras. In the past, Shakyamuni Buddha was still in the world preaching the Dharma for forty-nine years without interruption. Among his students, the monastics usually included one thousand two hundred and fifty-five people, in addition to those who were not often according to them, there were many more. Many people who followed Shakyamuni Buddha couldn't bear to leave, listening to the Buddha preach the profound and wonderful Dharma every day. From this we understand that if we want to gain true wisdom, we cannot separate the sutras, we must listen to them every day, and we must preach them every day. After listening, if you have understood yourself, you must explain it to others. Throughout his life, the Blessed One taught us to 'uphold, read and recite, for the performer's sake', having said this a thousand times, we must be extremely happy, must like it for the performer. At present, there are very few people who preach the sutras, we take advantage of advanced technical methods: computer networks (internet) and satellite television to propagate and propagate the Buddhadharma. If you really want to enter the Buddha's knowledge and understanding, make your thoughts and views pure and correct, without mistakes, if you don't listen to the sutras or read them, you absolutely cannot do it. I studied Buddhism for forty-seven years, my experience from many years tells me that there is only one way to practice every day, one day can't be interrupted; When we deal with people, treat people, and provide supplies in our daily lives, we do not conform to our afflictions, nor do we agree with our ideas, because we are still confused and have not yet been enlightened. Buddha taught that when we have not yet attained Arahantship, we cannot believe our ideas; All their ideas are wrong, they are all knowledge of ordinary people, knowledge of reincarnation. Depending on his intentions, he will definitely create samsara karma, the Buddha speaks the truth. Therefore, before becoming enlightened, one must obey the Buddha's teachings, but if you are not familiar with the sutras and cannot penetrate, then you cannot do it. By the time you have cut your own afflictions, the lowest level is to cut off the thoughts of afflictions, let go of all attachments, and attain the fruit of Arahantship. Arahant is called Right Enlightenment, that is, the thought of seeing. The solution is no longer wrong, at this point, I can trust my thinking. Bodhisattva is even higher than Arahant, is called Righteously Enlightenment, has cut off Tran Sa's affliction, no longer distinguishes; Buddhahood is the most complete, free from delusions, Our afflictive views are still sufficient, in daily life there is still market - non, human - self, greed, anger, delusion, pride, self-interest, these are all samsara mind, what creates All actions are cyclical karma. When the mind of reincarnation, the karma of samsara meets the Buddhadharma, it is usually an obstacle to the Buddhadharma, not only today, but also in the past. But the ancients were better than the present people because most of the ancients were molded by morality and still had moral beliefs. Nowadays, morality is no longer there, if you talk about morality to them, they not only cannot accept it, but also reject it. They think that self-interest is right, it is right to harm others, in which they can make some profit. They do not know that [doing so only] will get a little benefit in the short term, in the blink of an eye, they will have to fall into the hell of Abhi, Absolutely enlightened people will have no thoughts of self-interest, absolutely no thoughts and actions that control and possess all people, things, and things. Because they really understand 'three minds are impossible' (the three minds are past, present, and future citta), 'all things are empty, cause and effect are not empty', so they won't have negative thoughts, there is no deviant behavior, when the mind is moved to think, all acts of creation correspond to the dharmata, which in Buddhism is called 'worthy of nature'. Worthy nature is Buddha's knowledge, Buddha's view is Buddha's speech, Buddha's conduct, and the achievement of immeasurable and boundless merit. Using that merit to beautify the Dharma precept, dignify sentient beings, if so, they will be called Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Ordinary people do not do things beneficial to sentient beings, mindfulness is always thinking of their own interests, the first thought is always to benefit themselves and protect themselves. If sacrificing oneself can benefit sentient beings, then Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will also gladly do it. Sacrificing one's own life is not even a pity, let alone the things outside the body? As long as it is for the real benefit of sentient beings, it is not impossible not to give rise to great joy, this is the difference between a Buddha and ordinary people. We study Buddhism must definitely 'do it', if we encounter something really beneficial for sentient beings but also think about whether there is any benefit for us, is it worth doing or not, and such thoughts is enchanting. Why is there such a phenomenon? The first is that our good roots of merit are not enough. Second, external conditions are not enough, external conditions are the opportunity to listen to sutras, listen to sermons too little. If someone often tells you, over time, whether you don't know it or don't know it, it's all unmolded. This is the Buddha seed, the Buddha seed is the enlightenment seed. If this seed has a lot, it will give rise to strength, when you encounter an opportunity, you will take it, and will definitely not let go of this opportunity. I'm old, but I still have to lecture every day for the sake of sentient beings; If it was for me, I could have retired. In the old book it was written: 'seven decades of wisdom', the scholar said by now means to retire, to report the old man to his hometown. I can also retire, find a place with a pure environment to recite the Buddha's name and pray for rebirth, but still have to work hard? Also because there are no people to preach these sutras, if there are people to preach, I will not preach anymore. If there is no one to preach, it is impossible not to preach, this is self-sacrifice, helping others. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for the sake of those who forget themselves means preaching the sutras, and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas show the way of teaching: Regardless of whether they are at home or left home, all conditions fall, nothing happens. pure unconditioned, helping sentient beings. In this Sa Ba world, the ear roots of sentient beings are most sensitive, so teaching the Dharma is the best way; Then use the body to show off, set a good example for the mass society to see, that's all. A true disciple of the Buddha, whether at home or abroad, monastic must study Buddhism, study high monks, stay at home must study masters, these high monks and masters are all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who have responded to the world. time, as a model, as the best example for us. We must understand, must study wholeheartedly, and achieve immeasurable and boundless merit. Excerpted from: The True Meaning of 'The Intention to Recall the Buddha' BUDDHIST WORDS KNOWLEDGE As seeing, understanding, equivalent to another Buddhist term is "understanding". Knowledge is the views obtained by the five consciousnesses of the eyes, ears, nose, tongue and body, gathering experiences from life, from all phenomena in the universe, plus thinking, discrimination, judgment, etc. . of consciousness. Depending on ordinary people or saints, knowledge has different levels of low and high: the knowledge of ordinary people is not the same as that of the Thanh-liter; The knowledge of Thanh-liter is not the same as that of the Bodhisattvas etc..; and even the views of ordinary people differ greatly. Therefore, knowledge is not the same as "wisdom" (i.e., prajna) - which is indiscriminate, separate from thinking and judgment of the mind. And only the Buddha's knowledge (also called the "paramita" of knowledge)) can be called wisdom, or in other words, only in the Buddha's position, knowledge and wisdom are one. The Lotus Sutra says that the Buddha was born for a very important reason, which is to lead sentient beings into the Buddha's knowledge . That is to say, the Buddha converted sentient beings to attain the results of sravakas, pratyekabuddhas, and even bodhisattvas, all of which are means only, but the final result must be Buddhahood, ie the fruit of full enlightenment, supreme, only; that is the knowledge of the Tathagata, the transcendent wisdom, beyond all concepts, all thoughts, and distinctions of the mind. DHARMA REALM (s: dharma-dhātu, p: dhamma-dhātu, 法界): refers to the inherent thing of the object that is dependent on consciousness, which is one of the 18 precepts. The Abhidhamma (, Taishō Vol. 29, No. 1558) volume 1 said that the Three Aggregates of Life (s, p: vedanā, 受), Thought (s: sañjā, p: saññā) , 想), Action (s: saṁkhāra, p: saṅkhāra, 行) together with Formless Form (s: avijñapti-rūpa, 無表色), No Vi Dharma (無爲法) is called the Dharma Realm; In the 12 Lands, it is called the Fa (法處). However, in the 18 Precepts, in addition to the Dharma Realm, the other 17 are called the Dharma; Therefore, in a broad sense, the Dharma Realm refers to all dharmas of conditioned and unconditioned. Semantically speaking, gender (界) means “original race”; for example, in the mountains there are minerals such as gold, silver, etc.; in the human body is full of dharmas eyes, ears, nose, etc., each of which arises by itself. Or gender also means “different types”; that is, the self-nature of the dharmas are different. In Hoa Nghiem Tong, Hoa Nghiem Sutra of Detective Huyen Ky (華嚴經探玄記, Taishō Vol. 35, No. 1733), volume 18 has 3 meanings of the Dharma Realm: (1) Being the cause of the Holy Dharma, (( 2) Being the true nature of dharmas, (3) All dharmas keep the same division, which can be distinguished from each other. At the same time, according to Bodhisattva Universal's vows to enter the Dharma Realm, there are 5 types: the Dharma Realm ( Hữu), the Dharma Realm (), the Dharma Realm that is both You Wei and No. Vi, the Dharma Realm is neither the Realm nor the Unobstructed, and the Unobstructed Dharma Realm (無障礙法界, the Unobstructed Dharma Realm); and established 5 different kinds of Fa Phap Gioi (法法界), Nhan Phap Gioi (人法界), Nhan Phap Dung Phap Gioi (人法俱融法界, Phap Phap Yuong of people and dharmas), Nhan Phap Cau. Man Fajie (人法俱泯法界, Dharma Realm without people and dharma), Unobstructed Dharma Realm. If contemplating phenomena and being, it can be divided into 4 meanings: called the Four Dharma Realms (四法界): (1) France is only for all dharmas, gender is the division; all legal entities are inherently different from each other, but constitute hundreds of thousands of different phenomena; it's called the Dharma Realm (事法界). (2) The phenomena of the dharmas are many, but their true nature is often constant, the most equal, as, surpassing both language and text, is the realm of the silent Holy Wisdom; That's called Li Fa Realm (理法界). (3) The phenomenon of gender and the world version has a unique relationship; each one of their dharmas, inter-interaction, one with many unobstructed, natural product; That's called the Law Realm Li Su (4) All phenomena of gender have mutual effect, one is all, all is one, endless coincidence, the fearlessness; That's called Dharma Realm ( Vô). In addition, because of the endless interdependence, it is called the Dharma Realm Dependent Origination Tantric Buddhism takes the 6 Great Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, Void, and Consciousness as the essence of Dharma Realm; for it is Tam Ma Da Than (三摩耶身) of Dai Nhat Tathagata (s: Vairocana, 大日如來). His palace is called Dharma Realm Palace (法界宮), his concentration is Dharma Realm Concentration (法界定), his seal is Dharma Realm Dinh Seal (法界定印), his blessing power is Dharma Realm Blessing (法界). Tantricism also teaches about the Five Wisdoms of the Five Buddhas (法界體性智), taking the Buddha Dai Nhat Tathagata to represent the Dharma Realm Tanh Tri (五智五佛). Thien Thai Tong takes the 10 precepts of Hell, Hungry Ghosts, Animals, Asuras, Humans, Heaven, Thanh Van, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas, collectively known as the Ten Dharma Realms (十法界). In the Bodhisattva's Blissful Origin of Karma Sutra (菩薩瓔珞本業經, Taishō Vol. 24, No. 1485) The Upper has a passage that says: "The first and foremost Dharma Realm, the right Three Worlds Report, necessarily breaking the law, weak common sense, weak first view, weak cause and effect law, not out of the Dharma Realm; The only Buddha, in the outer Dharma Realm (於一法界中、有三界報、一切有爲法、若凡若聖、若見著、若因果法、不出法界、唯佛一人、在法界外, in one Dharma Realm, Three Realms of retribution, all conditioned dharmas, being ordinary and holy, seeing attachment, dharma of cause and effect, not leaving the Dharma Realm; there is only Buddha, outside the Dharma Realm).” Or in Dai Phuong Quang Phat Hoa Nghiem Sutra (大方廣佛華嚴經, Taishō Vol. 10, No. 279) volume 6, Tathagata Shows General Product (如來現相品), there is a passage: "Buddha body full of Dharma Realm, universally manifest necessarily sentient beings money, depending on the charm of the land, children always try the Bodhi seat (恆處此菩提座, the Buddha's body is full in the Dharma Realm, appearing in front of all sentient beings, depending on the conditions of the same place, THẬP PHÁP GIỚI TEN DHARMA REALMS [ja] jū hōkai ||| Ten realms. B) Enlightenment: That is, we are enlightened, and we teach that method of enlightenment to enlightened practitioners like ourselves. The Hinayana practitioners cannot gain enlightenment because they only care about their own liberation. Only those who follow the Mahayana can attain enlightenment, that is, enlightenment for all living beings who are drowning. C) Full Enlightenment: It means full enlightenment for yourself and for others. The Bodhisattvas, although enlightened for themselves and for others, have not yet completed their deeds, so they cannot be called "Complete Enlightenment". Nhập Tri Kiến Phật. a. A Tỳ Đạt Ma Câu Xá Luận (阿毘達磨俱舍論, Taishō Vol. 29, No. 1558) quyển 1 cho rằng Ba Uẩn Thọ (s, p: vedanā, 受), Tưởng (s: sañjā, p: saññā, 想), Hành (s: saṁkhāra, p: saṅkhāra, 行) cùng với Vô Biểu Sắc (s: avijñapti-rūpa, 無表色), Vô Vi Pháp (無爲法) được gọi là Pháp Giới; trong 12 Xứ thì gọi là Pháp Xứ (法處). Đồng thời, nương theo hạnh nguyện của Bồ Tát Phổ Hiền mà nhập vào Pháp Giới, có 5 loại là Hữu Vi Pháp Giới (有爲法界), Vô Vi Pháp Giới (無爲法界), Pháp Giới vừa là Hữu Vi vừa là Vô Vi, Pháp Giới chẳng phải là Hữu Vi và cũng chẳng phải Vô Vi, và Vô Chướng Ngại Pháp Giới (無障礙法界, Pháp Giới không chướng ngại); và lập ra 5 loại sai biệt là Pháp Pháp Giới (法法界), Nhân Pháp Giới (人法界), Nhân Pháp Câu Dung Pháp Giới (人法俱融法界, Pháp Giới dung nhiếp của người và pháp), Nhân Pháp Câu Mẫn Pháp Giới (人法俱泯法界, Pháp Giới không có người và pháp), Vô Chướng Ngại Pháp Giới. Hay trong Đại Phương Quảng Phật Hoa Nghiêm Kinh (大方廣佛華嚴經, Taishō Vol. 10, No. 279) quyển 6, Như Lai Hiện Tướng Phẩm (如來現相品) thứ 2, lại có đoạn: “Phật thân sung mãn ư Pháp Giới, phổ hiện nhất thiết chúng sanh tiền, tùy duyên phó cảm mị bất châu, nhi hằng xử thử Bồ Đề tọa (佛身充滿於法界、普現一切眾生前、隨緣赴感靡不周、而恆處此菩提座, thân Phật tròn đầy nơi Pháp Giới, hiện khắp trước mặt các chúng sanh, tùy duyên cảm ứng cùng nơi chốn, vẫn luôn an trụ Bồ Đề tòa).” Buddhism with the Five Holy Realms.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH. The Five Precepts of Buddhism are also known as the Five Precepts or the Five Precepts. At first glance, people who have just come to Buddhism through the concept of two words from the Holy Realm seem "sublime" and difficult to reach, so it's easy to get discouraged. But in fact, these are the five things Buddha taught that are very close to life and easy to implement. >>Buddhist can read series about Buddha According to the Buddhist scriptures, the five precepts are: Do not kill, do not steal, do not commit adultery, do not lie, and do not drink alcohol. If anyone pays attention and tries to practice, these 5 things will become the five Holy Realms, nothing is too far away and difficult to do. Because according to the teachings of the ancestors, after all, even the monastic precepts prevent hundreds of things, but they do not run outside of these five holy worlds. So what are these five precepts? According to the Buddhist scriptures, the five precepts are: Do not kill, do not steal, do not commit adultery, do not lie, and do not drink alcohol. Talking about the practice and practical benefits of these five holy precepts, the writer would like to mention the following; and now let's take a brief look at the reality of today's society before talking about the effectiveness of these five precepts. As we all know, we are living in a period of global socio-economic integration, in which the market economy always affects many aspects of social life, causing real pressing problems. According to the Buddha's occult teachings, this is the period (the end of the Dharma), the period that causes a lot of damage to human society (after all, because we have violated these five precepts), so it happened. There are many pitiful and pitiful things, because people lack self-control, or rather in the Buddhist way, we cannot overcome "anger" at the reality of life that leads to "delusion" to create evil karma. We who (beginners) first come to Buddhism, let's learn together about these five holy worlds and then experience and practice seeing the profound meaning that the Buddha taught in the five precepts. Whether we are Buddhists or not, if we effectively understand and practice the five Holy Realms of the Buddha mentioned above during this turbulent time, everything will become peaceful. So we (beginners) first come to Buddhism, let's learn together about these five holy worlds and then experience and practice to see how deep the meaning is that the Buddha taught in these five precepts? Now, let's first understand the concept of these five Holy Realms: So what is "gender"? How is the original meaning of the word world understood to match the content of the Holy World? Precepts - means to prevent and prevent mistakes and tribulations for human body and mind. Each religion born has its own "gender". For example, there is a Tao that forbids eating pork. Whoever eats it is considered a violation of the precepts; and some other religions they also have their own precepts and precepts for their followers. In a society where many people are superstitious about ghosts and gods, there are even more precepts forbidding strange nonsense, such as India during the time of Shakyamuni Buddha, there were all kinds of ascetic practices such as plastering ashes on people, abstaining from eating and drinking, etc. the way to pure Nirvana. Therefore, it is necessary to have wisdom to recognize and distinguish what is the main precept, which is the wrong precept, and which is the holy world of Buddhism. Buddhism always takes precepts as the basis, takes meditation as the focus, and takes wisdom as the goal. The Buddha's precepts are always closely linked in the three most basic subjects that are Precepts-Concentration-Wisdom, these three precepts are also known as the Three Unscrupulous Schools, of which Precept is the first subject. Therefore, the Buddha's precepts are always closely linked in the three most basic subjects that are Precepts-Concentration-Wisdom, these three precepts are also known as the Three Unscrupulous Schools, of which Precept is the first subject. Because, “The precepts are the first step of the path to enlightenment, the foundation of meditation and wisdom.” Referring to the HT precepts. Thich Thien Sieu once made it clear that the Buddhist precepts are "prevent not only evil" or "only good and evil" - which means to be on guard and not to do evil, to do wrong, to do all good things, to be useful to others. yourself, for people. Therefore, learning precepts or keeping precepts is always synonymous with learning morality and ethics. Keeping the precepts is to create a civilized, good-oriented lifestyle that any progressive society always aims for. These five things of the Holy World were preached by Shakyamuni Buddha himself in the land of Kosala (ie KoSala, the old name of Sāvatthi in ancient India). The person who heard the Buddha preach this Holy Year is the elder in the Cau-sat-La area (for example, an official of the highest level of the District, the District now). The Buddha opened his sermon by asking the Elder that: "If anyone has an excuse or without reason intends to kill me, harm my life, would I want to? If someone stole my property, or wanted to take it from me, would I want to? If someone were to commit adultery with me and my relatives, would I want to? If someone deceived me or tried to deceive me, or cursed and said vulgar words to me, would I want to? If there is another person who is drunk, loses all reason, all his words and hysterical actions caused by his drinking, do we want to? Of course, we don't want that to happen. And what you don't want it to happen to you, don't do it to others." Then the Buddha concluded: "Those are the five things that the Holy Realm has many benefits for the world. Therefore, as a disciple of the Buddha, one must observe the five holy worlds because those are the five acts of great generosity. Usually people think about big things, but in reality life tells us that all big things start from small things and seemingly small things. Those are the negative things that we see happening so often today and it's painful. The birth of these five things of the Holy World, which has been extensively recorded and discussed during the more than 25 centuries of Buddhism until today, reminds many of us that we hear it and think it's boring. But calmly reflecting on these five Holy Realms, passing the test of time to this day in this "End of the Dharma", the more we see that what the Buddha invented in the five Holy Realms is indeed true for all people. era, because this is the cause of all causes leading to competition over losing and creating suffering karma without end if people do not soon realize this. The reason is known, how to practice the five holy precepts as taught by the Buddha effectively, below would like to repeat the content of these five precepts: 1. Don't kill: The mind that doesn't kill is the mind that doesn't harm the lives of others. Like all species, there is no war or terror, but over the past 21 centuries, mankind has not stopped worrying... 2. Don't steal: If you don't take what you don't give, you won't steal anymore. Without tricks, tricks or inciting others to do treacherous things for personal gain, of course, there is a healthy, safe and happy life. 3. Do not commit adultery: That is, to well implement the law of marriage and family, monogamy, healthy living and equality in terms of material and spiritual interests, so there is no jealousy to kill each other. There is a proverb that says, "All evils, sex is first". Fornication here is adultery. 4. Do not lie: That is, do not say need, do not lie, say wrong words. Gossip is a felony of the law, because gossip causes a reversal of right and wrong. If you live a healthy life, speak thoughtfully to help people see the truth, then you will be respected by the world. Otherwise, it will cause evil. 5. Do not drink alcohol: It is a stimulant drink. People often say, wine in words out. The words of the drinker have no guarantee, because the words come out when the spirit is captivated! Drinking alcohol can lead to anger, fights, and loss of personality because of not knowing shame. If you don't drink alcohol, your wisdom will always be clear and you won't be seriously ill, and everyone will respect you; rebirth in the next life without being confused, stupid... If everyone practiced the Five Noble Realms, how could the world not be at peace, the home would not be happy, and the people would be full as their fathers taught. Therefore, precept is the root of Phuc. People who practice Buddhism, study Buddhism or anyone else who practice the Five Holy Realms also gain many practical benefits. Those who violate the Holy Realm are of course breaking the law. For example, anyone who harms another person's life is imprisoned and sentenced to death. Whoever steals or instigates people to do bad things is also breaking the law ... From that, the Buddhadharma and the National Law always complement and support each other, bringing benefits to people. Following the above five things, of course, does not violate the National Law and keeps society safe. Helping society to progress and develop is the act of "great generosity". The word almsgiving means: giving, giving (including material and spiritual wisdom). The characteristics of the Buddha's five holy worlds are deeply humane and human. Therefore, the content of this year of the Holy World was proposed by the International Buddhist Conference in 1998 to the United Nations, stating one criterion: "The five precepts must be the foundation of global education..." . Here we see the Buddha's "separation from the world" to enlighten people. Distinguishing the Precepts and the Holy Realms: As mentioned above, precepts are not unique to Buddhism because other religions also have their own precepts. Therefore, it is necessary to distinguish what is the holy world so that keeping the precepts is not confused and lost. The precepts stated by Shakyamuni Buddha and recorded in the Buddhist scriptures are all called the holy world. The reason the Buddha divided into many types of precepts was to respond to the different levels of practice such as: monasticism, staying home. For example, the precepts for lay Buddhists include: Five Precepts, Eight Precepts, and Ten Good Precepts. Bhikkhu monasteries: about the Sangha (male monks) there are 250 precepts; There are 348 precepts about nuns. There is also the world and the world again ... based on each type of "world" that Buddhist practitioners keep applying predestined conditions. Because the Buddhadharma is "uncertain dharma", taking the spirit of "the physical contract" as the foundation. Therefore, the practice of Buddhism or the keeping of precepts in Buddhism is very flexible, not rigid, nor as extreme as some other religions. But in the "precepts" mentioned above, all take the basis of the Five Precepts (five precepts) as the basis. According to HT. Thich Thanh Nghiem: In principle, Buddhism has no dogma, if there is a dogma, it is a precept. However, the precepts of Buddhism do not come from the command, from the will of the Gods, so it does not include the mystical nature of other religions. The precepts of Buddhism are based on the requirements of morality and ethics and have an empirically applied rational nature. “The basic precepts of Buddhism are the 5 precepts, the 10 virtues, the 8 precepts and the 10 precepts of the monastic, the precepts of bhikkhus and bhikkhunis, in addition, there are also the bodhisattva precepts of the Mahayana. But all of them take the 5 precepts and the 10 virtues to improve or distinguish in more detail. So, if you can perfectly keep the 5 precepts and the 10 good ones, then it won't be too difficult to observe the other precepts." So the first 5 precepts are called the Holy Year. As the problem mentioned above, because of the fusion between Buddhism and the National Law, Buddhism present in other countries is always welcomed and respected. Therefore, the vast influence of Buddhism in the advanced societies of the world for many centuries has confirmed the truth or more specifically, that the teachings of Buddhism are always compatible with objective reality.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.3/6/2021.

Buddha is rice. A Zen monk came to ask the Venerable: - Could you give me a brief sentence, "What is Buddha?" so that I can enlighten and teach the masses. The Venerable replied: - Buddha is rice. Three days later, the monk came to see the Venerable Master, saying: - I don't understand anything. The Venerable said: - Think about it for three more days. Three days later, the monk came to the Venerable Master: - I still don't understand. The Venerable said: - Think for three more days. Three days later the monk came to see the Venerable Master. The Venerable asked: - Have you eaten yet? The monk replied: - Eaten. Where is the meal now? - The rice is in the stomach. What does rice turn into? - To nourish the body. Do you still see rice? - Yes, no. Hearing that answer, the Venerable Master said: - For more questions, I will beat you thirty times. After saying that, the monk fell and rolled. At that moment the monk attained enlightenment. The writer's interpretation: What is the monk's enlightenment? - If we say, "Buddha is a great enlightened being" then Buddha is just a word and we don't know how Buddha became enlightened. - If we say, "Buddha is a person with 32 good characteristics", it is like going to a beauty contest, only seeing the outer appearance but not seeing the depths of that person. - If we contemplate the Buddha image to imagine the Buddha, it is only the Buddha made of jade, gold, copper or wood or stone. That is "dead Buddha". If we listen to Buddhist scriptures to understand Buddha, Buddha is just sound. Many times reading and chanting like a machine in the end, "it's still there". Then we will forever remain just sentient beings immersed in samsara. Relying on those things, Buddha is still Buddha, I am still me. And if "Buddha is rice", then when "haven't eaten rice", ie not enlightened, Buddha is Buddha, I am me. When "eating rice" means that the Buddha has entered us, this Buddha turns into the life force of our body, feeding our body and mind. Then how much scum, uncleanness, and defilements are thrown out. Zen Buddhism or the old Zen masters did not stop at worshiping the Buddha or praising the Buddha, but sought to transform themselves into a Buddha. Zen Buddhism or Zen masters not only praise (praise) the Buddha but attain enlightenment and then practice Zen to enjoy the Buddha's attainment of peace, freedom, and freedom from attachment. Zen Buddhism or Zen masters do not ask the Buddha to save them but save themselves. Self-liberation and self-liberation are the weak points and strength of Zen Buddhism. Therefore, it can be said that Zen Buddhism is formidable, respectable and terrifying. We should not belittle Zen and play with it. Through meditating on koans, Zen is a sect that brings Buddhism to life, making Buddhism more than just a ritual religion, chanting, praying, begging like other religions. Relying only on these things, believers and even monks will become inert, vicious in lust and reincarnation, and then wait for the cardinal to save him when he dies. The principle of Zen Buddhism is to "light the torch and walk" to be like Buddha. In Zen Buddhism, you have to be enlightened first and then practice. Not being enlightened, but saying that practicing Zen is bad, like someone who borrows the king's robe to wear it but is not a king, that is, not a Zen master. But what is enlightenment? It is to suddenly see in a wonderful or desperate moment "Buddha nature" or "Buddha truth" manifesting right in your mind. Those who only listen to or listen to lectures about Buddha nature but do not intuitively see Buddha nature right in their own person will fail to practice any dharma, let alone practice Zen. Cultivators who have not yet seen the Buddha-nature manifest vividly, like the blood circulating in the body, like the breath, like the lifeline in our mind... but cultivating... is like a person who goes to dig for gold without seeing the gold ore in the ground, it will be in vain. That's why Zen masters who pray for the Way, even though they are beaten by the Patriarch, kicked a few feet, pinched their noses, yelled at their faces or said "useless things"... but suddenly burst out laughing because they were so suddenly great. enlightenment. Contemplation of koans is the gateway to Zen. In Master Suzuki's Zen Treatise (Tue Si's translation), "Without a koan, the Zen consciousness loses its guide (guide) and will never have a state of enlightenment." If you want to know the vividness of Buddhism, the wonderful courage, the fierceness, the hardships of the Zen masters, please see Dong Son's koan 'Buddha is three pounds of thorns'. Then anecdotally, a monk asked Nam Vien, "What is Buddha?" The master then asked, "What is not Buddha?" Then another time he replied, "I don't know him." Then another time he said, "I'll tell you when there is a Buddha." Then Ma To's powerful tricks have not yet preached the Dharma (upper court) but finished the sermon (lower court) to teach his disciples a vivid image, appearing in front of the eyes of "Form means Void". But seeing "Form means No". (not reading, chanting, or just talking) means that he has attained the wisdom of Prajna. In Christianity there is no such thing as becoming a God. In Islam there is no practice to become Allah In Hinduism there is no practice to become God (Brahma) Only in Buddhism can anyone become a Buddha. That's why Buddha taught that there are "Hang Ha Sa number of Buddhas" and "I am the Buddha who has attained. Sentient beings will become Buddhas.” Therefore, I firmly believe that from an early ancestor like Kashyapa.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.2/6/2021.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
