Sutra of Ups and Downs.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH. Detail Category: THE MADHYAMA AGAMA SUTRA MIDDLE LENGTH SAVINGS. T O heard something like this: Once the Buddha was traveling at Nananda [02] , in the Baba-ly mango garden [03] . At that time there was a Nirvana named Truong Ascetic [04], after lunch, leisurely walked up to the Buddha, and after greeting him, sat down to one side. Then the Blessed One asked: “The ascetic Nikien Than Tu [05] advocates how many actions to not do bad karma, not to create evil karma? [06] “ The Nirvana School of Asceticism replied: “Venerable Gotama, my guru, Nirvana Than Tu, did not teach us about the actions of not doing bad karma, not creating bad karma. But you teach us about the punishment for not doing bad karma, not creating bad karma.” The Blessed One asked again: “How many punishments does the ascetic Nikien Than Tu advocate for not doing evil deeds and not creating bad karma?” Nirvana Truong Ascetic replied that: “Venerable Gotama, my guru, Nun Kien Than Tu, taught us about the three punishments for not doing bad karma, not creating bad karma. What are three? That is physical punishment, oral punishment and mental punishment [07] . The Buddha asked again: "How, austerities, is there a difference between bodily punishment, verbal punishment, and mental punishment?" Nirvana Truong Ascetic replied that: “Dear Cu-Dam, for us, physical punishment is different, verbal punishment is different, and mental punishment is different.” The Buddha asked again: “Austerities, these punishments are similar. Nirvana Than Tu advocated the heaviest punishment for not doing evil deeds, not creating evil karma? The punishment of the body? Of the password? Of the will?" Nirvana Truong Ascetic replied that: “Venerable Gotama, these punishments are similar. My guru, Nikien Than Tu advocated that physical punishment is the most severe in order not to do bad karma, not to create evil karma. The verbal punishment is not so, the mental punishment is the lightest, not equal to the physical punishment, which is "very great, very heavy. The Blessed One asked again: "Kuu Hanh, do you mean the most severe punishment for yourself?" The Nirvana School of Asceticism replied: "Venerable Gotama, the most severe punishment." The Buddha asked again for the third time: "Kuu Hanh, do you mean the most severe punishment for yourself?" Nirvana Truong Ascetic also replied three times: "Venerable Gotama, the most severe punishment." The World-Honored One assessed three times the Nirvana Long Ascetic Conduct like this, and then sat silently. The Nirvana School of Asceticism asked: "How much punishment does the recluse Gotama advocate for not doing evil deeds and not creating evil karma?" Then the Blessed One replied: “Austerities, I do not preach about the punishments for not doing evil deeds, not creating evil deeds. I only preach about karma so as not to do bad karma, not to create bad karma.” The Nirvana School of Asceticism asked: "How much karma does Gotama advocate not to do evil deeds and not to create evil deeds?" The Blessed One replied: “Austerities, I teach about the three kammas so as not to do evil deeds, not to create evil deeds. What is three? It is bodily karma, verbal karma, and mental karma.” The Nirvana School of Asceticism asked again: Gotama has a different body, a different speech, a different mind? The Blessed One replied: “I say, body karma is different, speech karma is different, and mental karma is different.” The Nirvana School of Asceticism asked: "Venerable Gotama, these three karmas are similar, which one do you advocate the heaviest in order not to do evil deeds, not to create evil deeds? Is it a relative? Is it a profession? Is it karma?" The Blessed One replied: "Such as these three kammas, Suffering, I teach the mind karma to be the heaviest in order not to do bad karma, not to create bad karma. Body karma and oral karma are not like that.” The Nirvana School of Asceticism asked: "Does Cu-Dam advocate the heaviest karma?" The Blessed One replied: "O Ascetic, I teach that karma is the heaviest." Nirvana Truong Ascetic asked three times: "Is it the hardest thing to do in Cu-Dam?" The Blessed One also answered three times: "Austerities, I teach that karma is the heaviest." Ni-Kien Truong Ascetic three times assessed the World Honored One like that, immediately got up from his seat, circumambulated the Blessed One three times and then retreated; went to the place where Nikān-Tzu was. Nikan Than Tu from afar saw Truong Khong Hanh coming, and immediately asked: "Hey Miserable, where have you come from?" The Nirvana School of Asceticism replied: "I came here from Nananda, in the Baba-li mango orchard, where the recluse Gotama is here." Nirvana Than Tu asked: "Hey, ascetic, do you discuss with the recluse Gotama?" The Nirvana School of Asceticism replied: "Have a discussion." Nirvana Than Tu said: "Asceticism, if you have discussed with the recluse Gotama, then tell me all about it, so that I can know his treatise." Then Nikien Truong Ascetic brought the matter discussed with the Blessed One and told him again. After hearing this, the Nirvana Than Tu praised him, saying: “Or instead of Kuan Hanh! You have done the right Dharma for the Master. He is a man whose work is justified by wisdom. With intelligent decision, with fearless calmness, complete self-confidence, attained eloquence, captured the orange flag, in the camo realm of self-realization, attained abiding [08] . Why? You just told the recluse Gotama that the body punishment is the heaviest in order not to do evil deeds and not to cause evil deeds. Penalties are not like that. The penalty is even worse; not equal to a very great, very serious punishment.” At that time, the Lay-Laity Upaly [09] and five hundred lay people gathered in them clasped their hands towards the Son of Nirvana. Then the lay follower Upali said to Nikien Truong Ascetic: "Three times have you appraised the recluse Gotama doing this?" The Nirvana School of Asceticism replied: "Lay, I have three times appraised the recluse Gotama doing this." The lay layman Upali said to Nikien Truong Ascetic: “I can also go to appraise the recluse Gotama three times, then drag him anywhere he wants. Just as an athlete holds a goat with a long mane [10] and drags it wherever he wants; I, too, can come to appraise the recluse Gotama three times, then drag him anywhere he wants. Just as an athlete shakes off dust with a fur coat, so am I, able to re-evaluate three times with the recluse Gotama doing the same, and then drag him anywhere he wants. I, too, can go to re-appraisal three times with the recluse Gotama doing the same thing and then drag the bride away at will. Just like the brewer [11], or a disciple of a brewer, takes a wine filter bag and puts it in the water, and then drags it wherever he wants; I, too, can come to appraise the recluse Gotama three times, then drag him anywhere he wants. Like the elephant princess was sixty years old, was a great dragon statue arrogant [12] , enough ivory, enough size, tendons very strong, an athlete escorts, took water and washed thigh, washed backbone, wash rib , wash the belly, wash the teeth, wash the head and play in the water; I, too, can go to the appraisal three times with the recluse Gotama doing the same thing, and then clean it up depending on where it is. I went to the recluse Gotama to discuss with him, surrendered and then returned." Nirvana Than Tu said to the layman Upali: “I can also subdue the recluse Gotama. He can too. The same can be said of the Nirvana of Long Asceticism.” At that time, Nirvana Long Ascendant said to Nirvana Than Tu: “I do not want to let the lay follower Upaly go to the recluse Gotama. Why so? Because the recluse Gotama knows the illusory mantra, he can use the transformation mantra as a disciple, bhikkhu, bhikkhuni, Upasaka, Upaja. I am afraid that the layman Upali will be transformed by the recluse Gotama and become a disciple." Nirvana Than Tu said: "The Ascendant, Upali, was transformed by the recluse Gotama and turned him into a disciple, that's completely out of the question. The recluse Gotama was transformed as a disciple by the lay follower Upali, so that must be the case." The lay follower Upalily replied for the third time to Nikyana Than-Tzu, saying: “Today I went to the recluse Gotama to discuss with him. When the clothes are finished, I will return." Nirvana Than Tu also replied for the third time, saying: “You should go quickly. We can also subdue the recluse Gotama. He can too. The same can be said of the Nirvana of Long Asceticism.” Nirvana Long Suffering Hanh explained for the third time that: “I don't want to let the layman Upali go to the recluse. Why? Because the recluse Gotama knows the illusory mantra, he can use the transformation mantra as a disciple, bhikkhu, bhikkhuni, Upasaka, Upaja. I am afraid that the layman Upali will be transformed as a disciple by the recluse Gotama." Nirvana Than Tu said: “Asceticism, the lay follower Upali was transformed as a disciple by the recluse Gotama, which is completely nonexistent. The recluse Gotama was transformed into a disciple by the layman Ubaly, and that's for sure. The lay follower Upali, who goes as he pleases." At that time, the lay follower Upalily bowed his head three times to the feet of the Nirvana Than Tu, then went up to the Buddha, greeted the Buddha, sat to one side, and asked: “Venerable Gotama, did Nikan Chang’s Ascetic come here today?” The Buddha replied: "Ladies, come." The layman Upali asked: "Kutama, do you have a discussion with Nikien Truong Ascetic?" The Buddha replied: "Have the same discussion." The layman Upali said: “Kutama, if you have discussed with Nikien Truong Ascetic, please tell me all about it. Or maybe, after listening to it, I found out about it.” Then the World-Honored One narrated all the things that he and Nikien Long Ascetic had discussed to Upali. At that time the lay follower Upali, on hearing this, praised him, saying: “Or instead of Kuan Hanh! This is what is called for the Master to do the right practice of the Dharma of a disciple. What has to be done is argued with wisdom, with smart decisions, with calm without fear, with complete confidence, reaching great eloquence, catching the orange flag, staying in the orange realm. reveal that self-actualization, achievement abiding. Why so? Because for the recluse Gotama that presented the body punishment is the ultimate in order not to do bad karma, not to cause bad karma. The verbal punishment is not like that, the mind is even worse, not as good as the physical punishment, which is very great and very heavy." At that time, the Blessed One said: “Lady, I would like to discuss this with you. If you abide in the truth, then answer with the truth.” [13] The layman Upali replied: “Kutama, I abide in the truth, answer by the truth. The recluse Gotama, you should discuss this with me." The Buddha asked: “Lady, what do you think? Here if the Nirvana likes giving, likes to practice giving, doesn't comment, likes not to think, is very pure, specializes in mantras [14] . If that person comes here, tramples to death many insects, large and small, then how, Layman, Nikien Than Tu, for this killing, advocates that there is retribution?" The layman Upali replied: "Kutama, if he does it intentionally, it is a great sin; if it is not intentional [15] , it is not a great sin." The Buddha asked: "Lady, what do you mean by intention?" The layman Upali replied: "That's the intention, Gotama, [16] ." Lord Buddha said: “Lady, you should think and answer. The foregoing is contrary to the latter, the latter is contrary to the former, incompatible with each other. Laity, you in this assembly say to yourself: 'Kudama, I abide in the truth, answer by the truth. The recluse Gotama, you should discuss this with me." Layman, what do you think? If there is a Ni-kien, only drink hot water, completely stop cold water [17] . But when there is no hot water, I want to drink cold water. Without cold water, the person dies. What can you say, layperson, about the place of that Nie-ki's birthplace?" The layman Upali replied: “Venerable Gotama, there is a kind of heaven called the First Mind [18] . That Nigan dies, because of his mind with attachments, he is bound to be born in that place." Lord Buddha said: “Lady, you should think and then answer. The things he said before and after, after were against before, did not match. Laity, you in this assembly say to yourself: 'Kudama, I abide in the truth, answer by the truth. The recluse Gotama, you should discuss this with me." What do you think, if someone were to come here with a sharp knife, he would say: 'In one day I cut off the heads, skin, and flesh of all the living beings in this land of Nananda. a pile of meat, make a mass of meat'. Lay person, what do you think, can that person behead, skin, and cut off all the living beings in this Nananda in one day, pile them up into a pile of meat, make a mass of meat?" The layman Upali replied: "Can not. Why so? This land of Nananda is so rich and peaceful, with so many people, that he certainly cannot in one day cut off the heads, skin, and flesh of all living beings, piled them into piles of meat, and made them into blocks. meat okay. Gotama, that person is only causing useless trouble." Lord Buddha said: “What do you think, if a recluse or Brahma comes, with great willpower, great majesty, great merit, great deity, and freedom of mind, he says thus: 'I have only one thought of anger, and the whole land of Nananda is burned to ashes'. Hey Layman, what do you think? Shaman, can this Brahma cause this whole Nananda to burn to ashes?" The layman Upali replied: “Venerable Gotama, not just one Nananda, not just two or three, or four; But, Gotama, that recluse Pham Chi has great willpower, great virtue, great blessings, great spiritual power, and freedom of mind. If he arouses thoughts of anger, he can do everything. All the nations, all the people burned to ashes, what's wrong with a Nananda?" Lord Buddha said: “Lady, you should think and then answer. The things said before versus after, after against before, don't match. He who lived in this assembly said to himself: 'Ascendant Gotama, I abide in the truth and answer by the truth. The recluse Gotama, you should discuss this with me'." The Buddha asked: “Layers, have you heard of Dai-Trach forest, Unicorn forest, Meloc forest, Tinh Tinh forest, Khong wild forest; Why are those forests forests? [19] " The layman Upali replied: "Venerable Gotama, I have heard." “Lady, what do you think? For whom is Dai-Trach forest, Unicorn forest, Meloc forest, Tinh Tinh forest, and Khong wild forest, why are these forests?" The lay follower Upali was silent and did not answer. Lord Buddha said: “Lady, answer quickly! Please reply quickly! Now is not the time to be silent. Layman! In this assembly, he said to himself: 'Venerable Gotama, I abide in the truth, answer by the truth. The recluse Gotama, you should discuss this with me'." At that time, the lay follower Upali was silent for a moment and then said: “Dear Gotama, I am not silent. I was just thinking about this meaning. Venerable Gotama, those foolish Nikien don't understand clearly, can't explain, don't know the good field but don't examine themselves, keep deceiving me, I'm confused because of them, that is because aiming at Sa -The subject of Gotama, which they advocate, is the heaviest body punishment so as not to do bad karma, not to cause evil karma, and to punish verbally and mentally. If I follow what the recluse Gotama has said, I understand the meaning that, because the forefather initiates a thought of anger, he can make Daitach forest, Unicorn forest, Meloc forest, and forest. Tranquility, the Wilderness Forest, these forests become forests. “Venerable Sir, I know. Bach Thien The, I understand. Today I take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma and the bhikkhus. I pray to the Blessed One to accept me as an Upasaka. From now on, I will take refuge for the rest of my life until I die.” Lord Buddha said: “Ladies, you should do it quietly, don't make loud statements [20] . The silence of wins [21] is so nice. " The layman Upali said: “World Honored One, with this fact, I am more than happy for the Blessed One. Why so? For this is what the Blessed One said: "Lay, do it quietly, don't make a loud statement. The silence of such an adversary is good'. "World-Honored One, if I had become a disciple of other contemplatives and brahmins, they would have taken up banners and umbrellas to proclaim all over Nananda, saying this: 'Uuu lay follower. -ba-ly made my disciple! The layman Upali has become my disciple!' But the Blessed One said like this: 'Lay, do it quietly, don't make a loud statement. The silence of such an adversary is good'.” The lay follower Upali said: “World-Honored One, from now on, I will not allow nuns to enter my house. Only the four groups of disciples of the Blessed One, the Bhikkhus, the Bhikkhunis, the Upasakas, and the Upasikas entered.” Lord Buddha said: “The layman, the other Nigans, together with his family, for a long time respected each other. If they come, you should make offerings to them according to your ability." Up-baly-white: “World Honored One, with this fact, I am more than happy for the Blessed One. Why so? For this is what the Blessed One said: 'Layers, those nuns have respected your family for a long time. If they come, you should make offerings to them according to your ability. Venerable Sir, the other day I heard that the Blessed One said this: 'Give it to me, not to others. If you give to Me, you will receive great blessings, if you give to others, you will not receive great blessings. There will be great blessings for my disciples, but not great blessings for other people's disciples'." Lord Buddha said: “Lady, I do not say so. I do not say: 'Give it to me, not to others. For my disciples, not for other people's disciples. If you give it to me, it will be a great blessing, if you give it to others, you will not receive a great blessing. I will be blessed with great blessings for my disciples, but if I give other people's disciples, I will not receive great blessings'. Lay people, I say thus: 'Give everything according to a joyful mind. But for those who are not diligent, there is no great blessing. For those who are diligent, there will be great blessings'.” The layman Upali said: “Venerable Sir, please do not do that [22] . I know for myself whether I should give it to Nirvana or not. World-Honored One, today I once again take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Order of Bhikkhus. I pray to the Blessed One to accept me as an Upasaka. From now on, take refuge for the rest of your life until death." At that time, the World-Honored One preached the Dharma to the layman Upali, exhorting him to develop his thirst for threshold, and to attain joy and happiness. Having preached the Dharma by immeasurable means, encouraged it to arouse thirst, and attained joy, as the Buddhas do, the Buddha first spoke the Dharma righteously [23] to make the listeners happy, that is, to speak the Dharma of giving. , maintaining the precepts, being born in heaven, decrying sex is calamity, birth and death is unclean; Praise celibacy is a wonderful and wonderful work, which is pure white. When the Blessed One spoke this Dharma to him, he knew that he had a joyful heart, a contented mind, a pliable mind, a longing mind, a superior mind, a forward mind, a mind without doubt, a mind without hindrance. capacity to receive the righteous law. Then, just as the main Dharma had been said by the Buddhas, the World-Honored One immediately spoke to him about Suffering, Formation, Cessation, and the Way. The lay householder Upali, right at his seat, saw the four Noble Truths of Suffering, Origin, Cessation, and the Way. Just as white fabric is easy to dye colors; Likewise, the layman Ubaly, right at his seat, saw the four Noble Truths of Suffering, Origin, Cessation, and the Way. At that moment, the lay layman Upali saw the dharma, attained the dharma, knew the dhamma of purity, put an end to his doubts, no longer worshiped anyone else, followed no one else, no longer hesitated, and attained fruition. With respect to the Dharma of the Blessed One, having no fear, he immediately got up from his seat to pay respects to the Buddha: “World Honored One, today I take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Order of Bhikkhus three times. I pray to the Blessed One to accept me as an Upasaka. From now on, I will take refuge for the rest of my life until I die.” Then the lay householder Upali, after hearing the Dharma taught by the Buddha, well lived and well maintained, bowed to the Buddha's feet, went around three times, returned home and said to the gatekeeper: "You should know that I am now a disciple of the Blessed One. From now on, the nuns who come to do not let them in, only let the four groups of disciples of the Blessed One, the Bhikkhus, the Bhikshus, the Upasakas, and the Upasikas, to enter. stop. If there are Ni- kiens coming, tell them: 'Venerable, Upalaya lay follower has now been converted by the Buddha and has turned into a disciple of the Buddha, so he won't let them in the door, only the four groups of people. Only the disciples of the Buddha were bhikkhus, bhikkhus, upasakas, and upasi. If you need food, stand there. will bring food for you.” At that time, Nikien Truong Ascetic heard that the lay layman Ubaly had been converted by the recluse Gotama, turned him into a disciple, and refused to let him in the door, only to the disciples of the recluse Cud. -Talking is the Bhikkhu-stilts, Bhikkhu-stilts, Upasakas, Upasi. After hearing this, the Nirvana of Long Suffering went over to the place of the Nirvana Than Tu and said: "Master, this is what I said before." Nirvana Than Tu asked: "Ku Hanh, what do you call what you have said before?" The Nirvana School of Asceticism replied: "Master, I have said before that: 'I do not want the layman Upali to go to the recluse Gotama. Why so? Because the recluse Gotama knows the illusory mantra, he can use the chemical mantra to be a disciple of the Bhikkhu-stilts, the Bhikkhu-ni, the Upasaka, and the Upasi. I am afraid that the layman Ubaly will be transformed by the recluse Gotama and become a disciple'. Venerable Master, the lay lay follower Upalya has now been transformed by the recluse Gotama and has become a disciple. He does not allow the nuns to enter the door. Only the monk Gotama's disciple is Bhikkhu. -stilts, bhikkhunis, Upasakas and Upasikas enter." Nirvana Than Tu said: “Asceticism, the lay follower Upali was transformed as a disciple by the recluse Gotama, which is completely nonexistent. The recluse Gotama was transformed into a disciple by the lay follower Upali, that's for sure." Nirvana Truong Suffering Hanh said again: "Master, if you don't believe what I say, you can come personally, or send someone." At that time, the son of Nirvana said: "Kuc Hanh, you should go there yourself and see. Has the layman Upaly been transformed into a disciple by the recluse Gotama? Or has the recluse Gotama transformed into a disciple by the layman Upali?" Nirvana Long Ascetic Obediently obeyed Nikien Than Tu's orders and went to the house of Layman Upali. The gatekeeper of the garden, when he saw the arrival of Nirvana Truong Ascetic, he said thus: "Venerable, the lay lay follower Upali has now been converted by the Buddha and has turned into a disciple of the Buddha, so he does not allow the nuns to enter the door, only the four groups of disciples of the Blessed One, the Bhikkhus and the Bhikshus. -Stilts-ni, Upasaka, Upasi come in. If you want to receive food, you should stand there, I will bring it out. The Nirvana School of Asceticism says: "Door, I don't need food." Nirvana Truong Ascetic already knew this, shook his head and left, went back to the place where he said: "Master, this is what I said before." The son of Nirvana asked: "Ku Hanh, what do you call what you said before?" The Nikien ascetic school replied: "Master, I said, 'I don't want the layman Upali to go to the recluse Gotama. The recluse Gotama was transformed into a disciple by the lay follower Upali, that's for sure." Nirvana Truong Suffering Hanh said again: "Master, if you don't believe what I say, you can come personally. At that time, Niki's son and his family of five hundred people went to the house of the layman Upali. As soon as the doorkeeper saw that Nirvana Than-Tzu and a large crowd of five hundred people had gathered, he said, "Dear Venerable, the lay follower Upali has now been converted by the Buddha and transformed into a disciple by the Buddha. After his death, he did not allow the nuns to enter the door, but only let the four groups of disciples of the Blessed One, the Bhikkhus, the Bhikkhunis, the Upasakas, and the Upasikas, enter the door only. If you want to receive food, you should stand there, I will bring food for you.” Nirvana Than Tu said: "Door-keeper, I don't need food, I just want to see the Layman Upali." Doorkeeper says: "Please stand there, let me speak to the layman Upali." The doorkeeper came in and said, "Lady layman, the Nirvana Than-Tzu and the five-hundred-member crowd of Nigans stood outside the door, saying this: 'I would like to see the Layman Upaly.'" The layman Upali said to the gatekeeper: “You come to the middle door [24] and spread out the seat. When you're done, come back and let me know." The doorkeeper obeyed, went to the middle door, laid out the bed, sat down, and returned to say: "Lady, the bed is done, I hope the layman knows the time." The layman Upali led the doorkeeper to the middle house. There was a very tall, wide, large, very clean, well-spread bed, which was where the Layman Upali had formerly carried [25] Nikyana to sit on. Now the layman Upali, himself, climbed up, sat cross-legged, and said to the gatekeeper: "You go to the place where Nikan Than-tzu says this: 'Respectful, lay follower Upali says that if you want to come in, you can do as you please'." The doorkeeper obeyed the order to go out, and went to where Nikien said this: "Honored One, the layman Upali said: "If you want to come in, you can do as you please." At that time, Nirvana Than-Tzu and a great assembly of five hundred people came together to the middle house. The lay follower Upalily, having just seen the Nirvana Son-tzu and the five-hundred-strong community of Nikāna, said this: "Respect, there is a seat here, if you want to sit, ask for it." The son of Nirvana said: “Lady, is that what you do? Is it not different to go to a high court to sit cross-legged and talk to people like a monk or a monk?" The layman Upali said: "Respect, I have my things, if I want to give, I will give, if I don't, I will not give. This seat is mine, so I said there is a seat, if you want to sit, ask for it." Nirvana Than-Tzu spread out his seat and sat down, then said: “Lady, why is that? Wanted to subdue the recluse Gotama, but when he returned, he was subdued. It's like someone who went to the forest to look for an eye, but when he returned, he lost his eye. In the same way, the layman wanted to submit to the recluse Gotama, but when he returned, he was subdued. Like a man who went down to a pond because he was thirsty; but still thirsty again. In the same way, lay people, wanting to conquer the recluse Gotama, were conquered in return. Layman, why is that?" The layman Upali said: “Respect, please listen to me. A wise person hears the parable and understands the meaning. Respected man, for example, there is a person named Pham Chi who has a young wife. The other wife, who was pregnant, said to her husband: 'I am pregnant now, please go to the market to buy beautiful toys for your children'. At that time, the other Pham Chi said to his wife: "I just hope you can have a peaceful reproduction, then worry about nothing. If you have a boy, buy a boy toy for him. If you give birth to a girl, buy a girl toy for her. The wife said to her husband three times: 'I am pregnant now, go to the market to buy toys for the children'. Pham Chi said three times to his wife: I just want her to have a peaceful birth, then I don't have anything to worry about. If you have a boy, you must buy a boy toy. And if you give birth to a girl, buy girl toys'. The other Pham loved his wife too much, and immediately said: 'What toys do you want to buy for your children?' The wife replied: 'I bought a beautiful toy that is a baby monkey'. Pham Chi heard that, went to the market to buy a beautiful toy with a baby monkey, brought it back and said to his wife: 'I have bought a beautiful toy with a baby monkey'. The wife saw and criticized that the color was not beautiful, so she said to her husband: 'You should dye this baby monkey toy yellow to make it more cute and make it emit light'. Pham Chi heard, immediately took the baby monkey toy to the dyer, saying: 'Dye this baby monkey toy yellow, make it very cute, and make it emit light for me'. Then the dyer said to Pham Chi: 'The baby monkey toy is dyed yellow to make it cute, this can be done, but it is impossible to make it emit light'. Then the dyer said to Pham Chi: 'The baby monkey toy is dyed yellow to make it cute, this can be done, but it is impossible to make it emit light'. make it very cute and make it glow for me'. Then the dyer said to Pham Chi: 'The baby monkey toy is dyed yellow to make it cute, this can be done, but it is impossible to make it emit light'. make it very cute and make it glow for me'. Then the dyer said to Pham Chi: 'The baby monkey toy is dyed yellow to make it cute, this can be done, but it is impossible to make it emit light'. “Then the dyer said and recited this: 'Little monkeys receive form, Do not tolerate the stuffing. If stuffed, it will die; Can you stand it with a pestle? This is defamation, Baby monkeys are full of impurities'. “You should know, venerable sir, that the same is true of the things taught by Nirvana, unable to bear the problems of others, nor to think and observe.
