Restoration Sutras.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH. Detail Category: THE MADHYMA AGAMA SUTRA MIDDLE LENGTH SAVINGS. T O heard something like this: One time the Buddha traveled at Cau-Lou-sau [02] with a large group of Bhikkhu-stilts, going to Thùlo-tra [03] ; residing in the garden of Thirtyphorus [04] , north of the village of Thaulotra. At that time, the Pham Chi, the lay laity of Thaulotra village heard a rumor that: "The recluse Gotama, a son of the Thich family, has left his clan, has left home to study the Way, and is traveling to Kowlau. Together with a large assembly of bhikkhus, they went to this village of Thaulotra, and stayed in the forest of Thirtyep-hoa, north of the village of Thaulotra. That recluse Gotama had a great reputation, spread throughout the ten directions. The recluse Gotama is the Tathagata, the Unsurpassed One, the Perfect Enlightenment, the Perfection of Virtue [05] , the Good Teacher, the Explainer of the World, the Supreme Being, the Dharma King [06] , the Master of Heaven and the Human Being, the Buddha, They Huu [07] . He is in this world, in the midst of gods, demons, Brahmas, recluses, and Brahmas, from man to heaven, but self-knowing, self-enlightening, self-realized, accomplished abiding [08]. His teachings are wonderful in the beginning, wonderful in the middle and at the end are also wonderful, meaningful, and written; complete purity, manifesting the holy life [09] . If I could meet the Tathagata, the First of all, the Perfectly Enlightened One to respect, worship, make offerings, and serve as servants, how beneficial it would be! We should go together to see the recluse Cu-Dam to worship and make offerings." The lay followers and Pham Chi of Thaulotra village, after hearing this, each of them, along with their relatives, followed them from the village of Thaulotra, headed north, to the garden of Thirty-Neighborhood. peace. They expected to meet the Blessed One to worship and make offerings. After arriving at the Buddha's place, the Pham Chi, the other layman in the village of Thaulotra, some people bowed their heads to the Buddha's feet and then sat to one side; someone greeted Buddha and then sat to one side; some people clasped their hands towards the Buddha and then sat to one side; Someone saw the Buddha from afar and quietly sat down. When the Brahmas and laypeople of Thaulotra village all sat still, the Buddha spoke the Dharma to them, encouraged them to develop their thirst, and rejoice in their achievements. After using immeasurable means to speak the Dharma to them, exhorting them to aspire to aspiration, attaining joy, and then the Buddha sat silently. At that time, the Brahmas and laypeople of Thaulotra village, after being exhorted and exhorted by the Buddha to preach the Dharma, promote the threshold, and be happy, all left their seats, stood up, bowed their heads close to the Buddha's feet, and walked around the Buddha. three laps and then leave. At that time, the lay son Lai-tra-hoa-la [10] was still sitting and not getting up. When the time for the Brahmas and laypeople of Thaulotra village to leave shortly, Lai-tra-hoa-la's son immediately got up from his seat, lifted his shoulders, folded his hands towards the Buddha, and said, : “World-Honored One, as I know, with regard to the Dharma taught by the Buddha, if you live at home and are imprisoned in distractions, you cannot live a life of purity and chastity. World-Honored One, please allow me to follow the Blessed One, leave home to study the Way, receive the full precepts, and become a bhikkhu who practices the holy life." The Buddha asked: "Son of lay people, do your parents allow you to abide in this True Law, have faith, leave home, live without family, and study the Way?" Lai-tra-hoa-la son of lay people said to the Buddha: "World-Honored One, my parents have not yet allowed me to be faithful in this True Law, leave home, live without family, and study the Way." The Buddha taught: "Son of layman, if your parents don't allow you to live in this True Law, have faith, leave home, live without family to study the Way, then I cannot deliver you from home to study the Way, nor will I be able to save you. formal transmission of precepts. Lai-tra-hoa-la son of lay people said: "World-Honored One, I will ask my parents to let me be allowed to abide in this righteous law, faithfully leaving home, living without family and studying the Way." The Buddha taught: "Son of lay people, according to your wishes." At that time Lai-tra-hoa-la son of lay people listened to the Buddha's teaching, carefully memorized it, bowed to the Buddha's feet, walked around three times and then left. When he got home, he said to his parents: “Dear parents, as I know, with regard to the Dharma taught by the Buddha, if I live at home, imprisoned in distractions, I cannot live a pure life as a holy monk. I implore my parents to allow me, in this righteous law, to leave home faithfully, live without family, and study religion." The parents of Lai-tra-hoa-la son of lay people said: “Again, a parent with only one child, with great love and care, with unspeakable attachments. If the child dies, the parents don't even want to leave, how can they still leave without seeing their face?" Lai-tra-hoa-la son of laypeople again said to the third time: “Dear parents, as I know, with regard to the Dharma taught by the Buddha, if I live at home, imprisoned in distractions, I cannot live a pure life as a holy monk. I implore my parents to allow me, in this righteous law, to leave home faithfully, live without family, and study religion." Lai-tra-hoa-la's parents also said for the third time: “Again, a parent with only one child, with great love and care, with unspeakable attachments. If the child dies, the parents don't even want to leave, how can they still leave without seeing their face?" At that time Lai-tra-hoa-son, the layman's son, threw himself to the ground, saying: "From now on, I won't get up, don't drink, won't eat until my parents let me stay in this righteous law, leave home, live without family, study the Way." Then Lai-tra-hoa-la son of the layman spent a day without eating, until two days, three days, four days, many days without food. At that time, the layman's parents, Lai-tra-hoa-la son, came to him and said: “Again, you are soft, have a beautiful body, often sit on a good bed, don't you now know suffering? Again, you should quickly get up, live a life of sensual pleasures and give alms, happily cultivate meritorious deeds. Why? Lai-tra-hoa-la, the realm of the World-Honored One is very difficult, very difficult! Leaving home to study religion is even more difficult.” Lai-tra-he-la son lay still lying silent did not answer. Then the layman's parents, Lai-tra-hoa-la's son, went to his relatives and officials and said: "Please go to Lai-tra-hoa-la and advise him to get up." The relatives of Lai-tra-hoa-la and the officials together went to Lai-tra-hoa-la and said: "Hey, you Lai-tra-hoa-la, you are soft, beautiful body, often lie on good beds, don't you know suffering now? Again, you should quickly get up, live a life of sensuality and give alms, happily cultivate meritorious deeds. Why? Lai-tra-hoa-la, the realm of the World-Honored One is very difficult, very difficult! Leaving home to study religion is even more difficult.” Lai-tra-hoa-la son of Lay still lying silent did not answer.: Then the lay son Laitra's parents went to the wise men of the same age as Laitra's son, saying: "May you go to Lai-tra-hoa-and advise him to get up." The good intellectuals of the same age as Lai-tra-hoa-la son of Laity, together went to Lai-tra-hoa-la son of Laity, saying: “Again, the son of a layman, a soft friend, a beautiful body, often lying on a good bed, don't you now know suffering? Again, you should quickly get up and live a life of sensuality, giving alms, happily cultivating meritorious deeds. Why? Lai-tra-hoa-la, the realm of the World-Honored One is very difficult, very difficult! Leaving home to study religion is even more difficult.” Lai-tra-he-la son still silent did not answer. At that time, the good friends and friends of the same age as Lai-tra-hoa-la son of Laity went to Lai-tra-hoa-la's parents, son of Laity, and said: "You two should let Lai-tra-hoa, the son of a layman, who is faithful in this righteous law, leave his family, live without a family, and study the Way. If he likes to live like that, then even in this life he can meet. If he gets tired of living like that, he will naturally return to his parents. Now if you don't let him go, he will surely die, no doubt. What's the use of that?" At that time, the laity son Laitra's parents, having heard that, immediately said to the good friends of the same age as the lay son Laitra: "We now allow Lai-tra-hoa-la to stay in the righteous law, but faithfully leave home, live without family to study the Way. If you study the Way and still come back, let us see you." Then all the good friends and friends of the same age as Lai-tra-hoa-la son of Laity came together to the place of Lai-tra-hoa-son son of Laity, saying: “Friend, your parents have allowed you to stay in the Right Law, but faithfully leave your family, live without family, and study the Way. When you have learned the Way, you must return to visit your parents." Lai-tra-hoa-la son heard this, overjoyed, overjoyed, born with love, born with joy, got up, gradually improving the body. When his body recovered, he left the village of Thalo-tra, went to the Buddha, bowed his head close to the Buddha's feet, and said: “World-Honored One, my parents have allowed me to stay in this righteous law, faithfully leaving my family, living in homelessness, and studying the Way. I hope that the World-Honored One will allow me to follow the Blessed One, leave home to study the Way, receive the full precepts, and become a bhikkhu." At that time, the World-Honored One saved Lai-tra-hoa-la, the son of a layman, who left home to study the Way, and imparted the Precepts of Consistency. After conferring the Precepts of Perfection, the Blessed One stayed in the village of Thaulotra for a while, then he gathered his robes and bowls to travel in turn to the country of Savat, to reside in the forest of Thang and the garden of Solitude. Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la, after leaving home to study the Way, receive the precepts, live alone in a remote place, without distraction, practice diligently. Because he lived alone in a remote place, his mind was not distracted, and he practiced diligently, he reached the goal where a good man shaved off his hair and beard, put on a cassava, faithfully left his family and lived in homelessness. To study the Way at home, is to only seek to complete the unsurpassed holy life, in this life self-knowledge, self-realization, self-realization, attainment of abiding, knowing as it really is: "Birth has ended, the holy life has been established, what needs to be done has been done, there is no more rebirth.” Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la knows as the dharma already, until, attained the fruit of A-la-Han. Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la, after attaining Arahantship, about nine or ten years had passed, he thought: "Once upon a time, I promised to leave home to study the Way and then return to visit my parents. I should return now to fulfill that promise.” Then the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la went to the Buddha, bowed his head close to the Buddha's feet, sat to one side, and said: "World-Honored One, I made a promise first, that after I had studied the Way, I would return to visit my parents. Today I would like to say goodbye to visit my parents to fulfill my previous promise." At that time, the World-Honored One thought: "Good man Lai-tra-ho-la [11] , if you were to renounce the precepts, renounce the Way, and live the same life of sensual pleasures, that would certainly not be the case." The Buddha, knowing this, immediately said: “You go. Those who have not been converted, please convert; not yet liberated, make liberated; annihilate, cause annihilation. Again, it's up to you. At that time, the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la, having heard the Buddha's words, carefully memorized them, immediately got up from his seat, bowed close to the Buddha's feet, walked around three times, then went to his own room, arranged the crouching equipment. , carrying a robe, holding a bowl, in turn traveled to the hamlet of Thaulotra, and stayed in the garden of Thirnips, to the north of the village of Thaulotra. When the night had passed and the sky had just dawned, the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la brought his robe and held his bowl to the village of Thaulo-tra for alms. The venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la thought thus: "The Blessed One praises the alms-giving. I am now in the village of Thalotra, so I follow the alms class." Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la in the village of Tha-lo-tra according to the class of alms round, in turn returned to his house. At that time, the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la's father was standing in the door, combing his hair and shaving. When he saw Lai-tra-hoa-la coming in, he said: “This bald ascetic was bound by a black demon [12] , became extinct without children, and destroyed my family. I have a child, deeply loved and pampered, with unspeakable attachments, and yet it leads away. Don't feed it! The venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la at his father's house was not given alms, but was cursed, saying: "This bald ascetic is bound by black, has become extinct, has no children, and destroys my family. I have a child, deeply loved and pampered, with unspeakable attachments, and yet it leads away. Don't feed it!" Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la heard that and hurried away. At that time, the servant of Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la's father was carrying a basket of rotten food, intending to throw it in the garbage heap. The venerable man saw that the servant of his father, the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la, was carrying a basket of rotten food, intending to throw it in the garbage, and said: “Hey girl, if this rotten food is worth throwing away, it should be put in my bowl. I will eat." At that time, the servant of the father, the servant of the father of the Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la brought the rotten food from the basket into the bowl. While pouring into the bowl, by two signs she recognized the Venerable; that is: the voice and limbs of the Venerable. Realizing these two signs, it immediately ran to the venerable's father [13] Lai-tra-hoa-la, said: "Sir, you should know that Lai-tra-hoa-la has returned to this village of Tha-so-tra. You should come see him." When the Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la's father heard it, he was very happy and excited. His left hand lifted up, his right hand stroked his hair and beard, and then quickly went to Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la. At that time the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la was facing the wall, eating that rotten food. Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la saw Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la facing the wall eating rotten food, saying: “Again, you are very soft, your body is beautiful, you often eat delicious food. Again, why do you eat such rotten food? Again, why did you return to this village of Thaulotra and not go back to your parents' house?" Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la said: "Lady, I went to my father's house, but I was not given alms but was cursed and scolded, saying: 'This bald ascetic is bound by the black demon, has become extinct, has no children, and destroys my family. I have a child, deeply loved and pampered, with unspeakable attachments, and yet it leads away. Don't feed it!' When I heard that, I quickly left. Reverend Father Lai-tra-hoa-la said sorry: “Again-tra-reconciliation, please forgive me! Re-tra-hoa-la, please forgive me! I really didn't know Lai-tra-hoa-la returned to my house." Then Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la's father with reverence, helped Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la to bring him into the house, spread out a seat and invited him to sit. Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la sat down. At that time, when the father saw that the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la had finished sitting, he immediately went to his wife, saying: "Woman, you should know, good man Lai-tra-hoa-la has returned home, quickly prepare food and water." When Master Lai-tra-hoa-la's mother heard, she was very happy and excited, and hurriedly prepared rice and water. After preparing the meal, she immediately brought the money and left it in the middle of the house in a large pile. The pile of money was so large that one person standing on one side, the other sitting on the other, could not see each other. After collecting a large amount of money, she went to the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la and said: “Again, this is my share of the money. The father and son's wealth is immeasurable, hundreds of thousands, incalculable. Now give it all to me. Again, you should give up your precepts, renounce the religion, live a life of sensual pleasures and give alms, happily cultivate meritorious deeds. Why so? Because the world of the World-Honored One is very, very difficult! Leaving home to study religion is even more difficult.” Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la said to his mother: "I have something to say, will you listen?" Mother Lai-tra-hoa-la said: "Hey Layman, if you have something to say, I'm ready to listen." Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la said to his mother: “You should sew a new cloth bag, fill it with money, use a truck to transport it to the Ganges River, and dump it into the deep. Why? Because because of this money, people are worried, sad, crying, not happy." At that time, the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la's mother thought, "By this means it is not possible to make my son Lai-tra-hoa-la renounce the precepts and renounce the religion. We should go to his ex-wives and say something like this: 'Daughters-in-law, you should use the lost pearl when you beautify your body, the kind of jade that the good man Lai-tra-hoa-la when he was still young. favorite at home. After using this lost brother's makeup, the children came together to Lai-tra-hoa-la, each of them hugged one of their legs and said, "I don't know if there is a more beautiful goddess than me that causes the sage to leave me. to practice virtue for her?'” Having thought about it, she immediately went to the ex-wives of the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la and said thus: “Daughters-in-law, you should use the golden pearl before beautifying your body, the kind of jade that the good man Lai-tra-hoa-la when he was still at home liked best. After using this lost brother's makeup, the children went together to Lai-tra-hoa-la, each of them hugged one leg and said, 'I don't know if there is a goddess more beautiful than me that makes the sage give up. for her sake?'” At that time, the ex-wives of the Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la immediately used the pearls of happiness when beautifying the body, which was the favorite thing of the Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la when he was still at home. After using that kind of jewel to decorate, he immediately pulled up to the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la, each of them hugged one leg and said like this: "I don't know if the sage has a more beautiful goddess than me that makes the sage leave me to practice holy life for her?" Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la said to the ex-wives that: “Hey girls, you should know, I am not practicing holy life for the sake of goddesses. The reason I practice holy life, now I have that purpose. What the Buddha taught, I have now done." The wives of the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la stood aside, weeping and crying, saying: "I'm not the sage's sister, but the sage calls me little sister." At that time the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la turned to look at his parents and said: "Ladies, if you have to give rice, give it on time, why bother each other?" At that time, the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la's parents immediately got up, washed themselves with water, and offered him rich and varied foods, chewed and swallowed them, and made him full. After eating, clean up the dishes, wash them with water, and sit on a small bed to listen to the Dharma. The venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la preached the Dharma to his parents, encouraged the development of thirst and threshold, and achieved joy. Having expounded the Dharma to them by immeasurable means, exhorted them to thirst, and attained joy, he rose from his seat and recited: Look at this jeweled silhouette, Jewels and pearls and so forth; Curly hair hanging down the right side; Green mole, eyeliner, long eyelashes. Lies deceive fools, But how can the trickster cross the shore! With so many silk brocades, Wish to beautify the ugly body. The lie deceives the foolish; But how can the trickster cross the shore! And how much perfumed perfumes, Dot with red lipstick. The lie deceives the foolish; But how can the trickster cross the shore! The pure robe adorns the body; But the original illusory remains inert. The lie deceives the foolish; But how can the trickster cross the shore! When the deer have broken the traps, And break through the gates of a lifetime; I leave the bait, go away; Who loves what ties the deer body? The venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la said and recited it, using it as if it were the will to take refuge in the void. Thau-Lot-forest to investigate, he went into the forest, spread ni-Bar-men sitting cross-legged under a tree Stand-hey-Lac [14] . At that time, King Koulao-ba [15] , surrounded by his courtiers, sat in the main hall, discussing and praising Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la, saying: "If I hear that the good son Lai-tra-hoa-la [16] has come to this Thulotra, I will decide to visit." At that time, King Koulao said to the hunter: “Go and explore the forest of Thulotra. I want to go there and hunt.” The hunter obeyed and went to investigate the forest of Thulotra. When the hunter searched the forest, he saw the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la spread out his seat cross-leaf under the Behe-la-tree, and immediately thought, "The one with whom King Cau-la-o-la and his servants sit at the main seat telegram of praise, now here.” When the hunter had finished surveying the forest of Thulotra, he returned and told King Koulao: “King, you should know, I have seen the forest of Thulotra. Please follow the King's will. O Great King, the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la, whom the Great King and his officials sat in the main hall discussing, praised, saying: 'If I hear news that the good son Lai-tra-hoa-la has come to Thau-lo-la. - Tra, I decided to visit'. Now, the venerable good man Lai-tra-hoa-la is currently in the forest of Tha-so-tra, spreading his seat cross-legged under the pedestal tree. If the Great King wishes to meet him, he can go there." When King Caulao heard this, she said to the charioteer: “You want to get ready quickly. I want to see Lai-tra-hoa-la. The charioteer obeyed the order, prepared the carriage, and returned to the king: "Dear Great King, you should know, the faraway price has been prepared. Please follow the king's will." At that time, King Caulao took his chariot and went to the forest of Thulotra. Seeing Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la from afar, the king immediately got out of the car and walked to Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la. Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la saw King Ko-la-la coming, said: "Great King, come here, you want to sit where you want to sit, okay?" The King of Caucasus replied: “Today, although I have come to my own realm, I want the good man Lai-tra-hola to invite me to sit. The venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la immediately invited King Ko-la-la, saying: "This is a private seat, please take a seat, Your Majesty." At that time, King Cau-lao-ba and Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la greeted each other and sat to one side. The king said to the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la: “Did you leave home to study religion because of the breakdown of your family? If, because of lack of material possessions, should live the life of learning the Way, then Lai-tra-hoa-la, in the house of this royal lady, there are many riches, I will export my possessions to Lai-tra-hoa- la, advise Lai-tra-hoa-la to give up precepts to renounce the religion, live a life of pleasure and give alms, and cultivate meritorious deeds at will. Why so? Lai-tra-hoa-la, the Master's teaching is very difficult, leaving home to study the Way is even more difficult." Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la heard, said: "This great king invites me by impurity, not by purity." When King Caulao heard this, she asked: "How should I invite Lai-tra-hoa-la with purity, not with impurity?" Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la replied: “Great king, you should say this: 'Again, the people of my country are safe and happy, there is no fear, there is no struggle, there is no harshness, there is no suffering. Translate; rice is sufficient, almsgiving is easy to obtain. Lai-tra-hoa-la lives in my country, I will support as dharma'. Great King, in saying this, it is called inviting me by purity, not by impurity." When King Caulao heard this, she said: “Now I invite Lai-tra-hoa-la by purity; not by impurity. The people in my country are safe and happy, there is no fear, no struggle, no harshness, no slavery; rice is sufficient, almsgiving is easy to obtain. Lai-tra-hoa-la lives in my country, I will support as dharma." “Again, Lai-tra-hoa-la, there are four cases of decline, where because of the decline, he shaves off his hair and beard, wears a cassava robe, leaves home with faith, lives without family, and learns the Way. What are four? Illness, old age, property decline, family decline. “Again, what is an illness? Or someone is chronically ill; very sick, too painful, he thinks: 'I have been sick for a long time; Very sick, very painful. I really have desires, but I can't live a life of sensuality. I should now shave off my hair and beard, put on a cassock, leave home with faith, live without family, and study religion. Then, because of illness, he shaved off his hair and beard, put on a cassava robe, left his family faithfully, and lived without home to study the Way. That's called depression. “Aga-tra-hoa-la, how is it called senility? Or there is a person who is old, with his senses weakened, and his lifespan is nearing the end, he thinks: 'I am old, my senses are weak, my lifespan is nearing the end, I really have desires but cannot live a life of sensual pleasures, We should now shave off our hair and beard, put on a cassava robe, leave home in faith, live without family, and study religion. Then, because of old age, that person shaved off his hair and beard, put on a cassava robe, left his family faithfully, and lived without a family to study religion. That's called senility. “Aga-tra-a-la, what is property impairment? Or there are people who are so poor and lonely, that person thinks: 'I am so poor, I should shave off my hair and beard, put on a cassava shirt, leave home faithfully, live without family and study religion'. After that, because of the decline in wealth, he shaved off his hair and beard, put on a cassava robe, left home faithfully, and lived without family to study the Way. That's called genius. “Re-tra-hoa-la, how is it called kinship loss? Or there is a relative who is extinct, has died completely, has no one left, that person thinks: I am now a dead relative, completely dead, no one left. One should shave off hair and beard, put on a cassock, leave home with faith, live without family, and study religion. After that, because of his physical weakness, he shaved off his beard and hair, put on a cassava robe, left his family faithfully, and lived without a family to study the Way. That's called body contemplation. “Again-tra-harmony in the past was not sick, was completely safe, gastrointestinal tract was regulated, neither cold nor hot, peaceful, peaceful, harmonious without disputes; Therefore, soft or hard foods are easily digested and safe. Thus, Lai-tra-hoa-la did not shave off his hair and beard because of illness, put on a cassava robe, left his family faithfully, and lived without family to study the Way. “Again, in the past, when he was a teenager, his hair was black and shiny, his body was strong, he sang songs and played music, and loved to his heart's content. Dress up again, often like to go for a walk. At that time, no one wanted to let him study religion; His parents wept, he was worried, and he was not allowed to leave home to study. But he shaved off his hair and beard, put on a cassava, faithfully left his family, lived without a family, and studied religion. Thus, Lai-tra-hoa-la did not shave off his beard and hair because of old age, put on a casa, left his family faithfully, and lived without family to study the Way. “Again, in this village of Thaulotra, in terms of wealth, your family is first, supreme, supreme, and supreme. Thus, Lai-tra-hoa-la did not shave off his hair and beard for the sake of wealth, put on a cassava robe, left his family faithfully, and lived without family to study the Way. “Again, here in the forest of Thulotra, the rich relatives are still alive. Thus, Lai-tra-hoa-la did not shave off his hair and beard because of his kinship, put on a casa, left his family faithfully, and lived without family to study the Way. “Again, for those four cases of decline, or due to some deterioration, one should shave off his beard and hair, wear a cassava robe, faithfully leave home, live without family, and study the Way. , but I see that Lai-tra-hoa-la did not have a single thought that could make Lai-tra-hoa-la shave off his hair and beard, put on a cassava robe, faithfully leave his family, live without family and study. religion. How did Lai-tra-hoa-la know and hear what? "The venerable Lai-tra-hola replied: “Great King, the Blessed One is the One who has known, seen, is the Tathagata, the Unforgivable, the Perfectly Enlightened One, who has preached the four things. I gladly accept that; I saw, heard, and understood this, so I shaved off my beard and hair, put on a cassock, left home with faith, lived without family, and studied religion. “What are four [17] ? Great king, this world is defenseless, unsupportable [18] . This world necessarily goes to old age [19] . This world is not ordinary, it must be abandoned [20] . This world is without satisfaction, without contentment, the servant of love [21] .” King Koulao asked: “Again, as you just said, 'Great king, this world is defenseless, unsupportable'. But, Lai-tra-hoa-la, I have children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, clansmen, statues of soldiers, chariots, horsemen, and infantrymen, all good at shooting, good at resisting, stern, and mighty like prince, athlete, Bat-la-shield, old Ma ha Nang [22] ; there are people who see the generals, there are plotters, there are people who calculate, there are people who understand the scriptures, there are people who are good at discussions, there are military gods, there are relatives, people who maintain mantras, people who know mantras, in any direction. There are people who subdue and prevent terrorism. If the word Lai-tra-hoa-la says, 'Great king, this world is defenseless, unsupportable,' what does that mean, Lai-tra-hoa-la?" Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la replied: “Your Majesty, I now ask the king, answer according to your understanding. Great King, is this body sick?" The King of Caucasus replied: “Again, now this body of mine often has leprosy [23] . Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la asked: “Great King, when the leprosy outbreak is very serious, very painful, then, Great King, at that time, you can tell your descendants, brothers, relatives, statues, soldiers, soldiers, soldiers, and soldiers. , all good at shooting, good at resisting, dignified, strong as a prince, athlete, Prajnaparamita, Mahananjia, omensist, plotter, calculating man, those who understand the scriptures, those who are good at talking, those who are familiar with the gods, those who hold the spells, those who know the spells, that 'Come, temporarily replace me in suffering and pain so that I can recover from illness and be at peace' okay?” The King of Caucasus replied: "Impossible. Why? I am self-employed; Caused by karma, conditioned by karma, I alone suffer and suffer." Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la said: "That's why, great king, the Blessed One said, 'This world is defenseless, unsupportable. I want to be patient with it, I saw, heard, and understood it, so I shaved off my hair and beard, put on a cassava, faithfully left my family, lived without family, and studied religion.” King Kowloon said: "As Lai-tra-hara said, 'Great king, this world is defenseless, unsupportable'. O Lai-tra-hoa-la, I also want to be patient with that. Why so? This world is truly defenseless, worthless.” King Koula again asked: "As Lai-tra-hoa-la said, 'Great king, this world all goes to old age'. Lai-tra-hoa-la, what does that mean?" Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la replied: “Your Majesty, I now ask the king, answer according to your understanding. What was it like when the Great King was twenty-four or twenty-five years old? What was agility like then today? At that time, what was the strength, body, and beauty like today?" The King of Caucasus replied: “When I was twenty-four or twenty-five years old, thinking back to that time, there was no one better than me in terms of agility, strength, physique, and beauty. Again, I'm old now, my faculties are failing, my life is coming to an end, I'm full eighty years old, I'm not as healthy as before." Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la said: "That's why, great king, the Blessed One said: 'All things in this world go to old age'. I wanted to receive it, I saw, heard, and understood it, so I shaved off my hair and beard, put on a cassava, faithfully renounced my family, lived without family, and studied religion.” King Koulao said: "As Lai-tra-hoa-la said, 'Great king, this world all goes to old age'. I also want to accept that. Why so? This world is indeed all going to old age.” King Koula again asked: "As Lai-tra-hoa said, 'Great king, this world is impermanent, it must be abandoned'. Lai-tra-hoa-la, what does that mean?" Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la replied: “Your Majesty, I now ask the king, answer according to your understanding. Great king, do you have an abundant kingdom of Kowloon, an abundant harem, and an abundance of treasures?" The King of Caucasus replied: "Right!" Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la again asked: “Great king, there is an abundance of Caucasus, an abundant harem, and an abundance of treasures. If the time has come to be helpless, to endure the breaking, all this life will come to an end. death; At that time, the water of the Caucasus was abundant, the harem was abundant, and the treasures were abundant, could it be carried from this life to the next?" The King of Caucasus replied: "Impossible. Why so? I have to be alone, dear, without friends, from this life to the next." Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la said: "Therefore, the Blessed One said: 'This world is impermanent and must be abandoned'. I want to be patient with it, I see, hear, and understand it, so I shave off my hair and beard, put on a cassava, faithfully go forth from home, leave home, live without family, and study the Way." King Koulao said: "As Lai-tra-hoa said, 'Great king, this world is impermanent, it must be abandoned'. I also want to ignore that. Why? This world is indeed impermanent and must be abandoned.” King Koula again asked: "As Lai-tra-hola said, 'Great king, this world without contentment, without contentment, is a servant of love'. Lai-tra-hoa-la, say this, what does that mean?" Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la replied: “Your Majesty, I now ask the king, answer according to your understanding. Is there an abundant water of Gou-Lou, a bountiful harem, and an abundance of treasures?" The King of Caucasus replied: "Right." Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la again asked: “There is a bountiful kingdom of Kowloon, and an abundant harem, and abundant treasures; If a man came from the East, trustworthy and not deceitful, he would say to the king, 'I have come from the East, and see that the country is very rich, happy, and full of people. The venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la said again: “It is the same with the South, the West, and the North. From the great seashore, if a person comes, trustworthy, not deceitful, say to the king, 'I have come from the great coast, and see that country is extremely rich, peaceful, and full of people. Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la said: "That's why, great king, the Blessed One said: 'This world has no satisfaction, is not satisfied, is a servant of craving'. I want to ignore that; I saw, heard, and understood this, so I shaved off my beard and hair, put on a cassava, faithfully left home, lived without family, and studied religion." King Koulao said: "As Lai-tra-hola said, 'Great king, this world without contentment, without contentment, is a servant of love'. I also want to ignore that. Why? For this world is without satisfaction, without contentment, a servant of love.” Venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la said: “The Blessed One, who is knowing, having seen, is the Tathagata, has no reason to be before Perfect Enlightenment, tells me these four things. I wanted to be patient with that, so I shaved off my hair and beard, put on a cassava robe, left my family faithfully, and lived without a home to study religion.” At that time, the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la said and recited: I see worldly people, Having wealth, stupid not giving; Get yours and ask for more, Xanthan contains the substance of. The king is loved by the world, Rule according to your strength. Domestic do not know enough, Looking abroad again. The King and the People Not leaving sex, death. Hair loss, wife and children crying; Oh well, suffering is hard to stop. Burial blankets; Or burning firewood. Fate goes to the next life; Burned and still stupid. The dead do not follow; Wife and children and slaves, Of many to share; Stupid, wise, that's all. The wise do not worry; The fool embraces sorrow. So wiser; Step on the right path. Clinging to Huu, Fools do evil deeds. With the law, do illegal; Using force to rob people. Poor intelligence to imitate; Dumb do many evil deeds. Entering into the next life, Always subject to birth and death. Having been born, Only do evil deeds. Like the enemy being tied up; Self harm. Such beings are like this, Until the next life. Because of the career I created Self harm. Like a ripe fruit falling by itself; So are the young and old. Want makeup, favorite; Mind enjoys good and bad; Being forced by sex to harm; Due to the fear of sex. King, I see this sense, Know the wonderful Samana. The venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la preached thus, and after hearing the words of the venerable Lai-tra-hoa-la finished, he happily served it.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY= VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.15/12/2021. -ooOoo-
