Impermanent, selfless.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETYNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH. Impermanent Body: Birth, Aging, Illness, Death. Impermanent means not forever, not forever staying in a fixed state, always changing shape, changing continuously. Birth, abiding, destruction, and cessation are the truths of life. INCREDIBLE MIND Attached to the body is "Mind". The body is impermanent, the mind is also impermanent. The human mind changes rapidly in every minute and second according to the external environment. It is because the mind arises and passes away so quickly that we often don't realize its change, so we feel as if it hasn't changed at all. The "I" one minute ago is not the "I" this minute or the "I" the next minute. The "me" or the "mind" are also impermanent, temporary, and artificial. Yet people cling to it, in its name to do many unwholesome things. Mind controls human will and actions. Therefore, it is necessary to guard and control the mind, and to guide the mind according to the right path. But this is not easy to do, because it is more difficult to detect the human mind than the ocean floor. "Six ceiling" is the cause that makes the human mind move. “Luc” is six. "Ceiling" is dirt. The six worlds are the six dust-like external objects that can contaminate our body and mind. Those six objects are "form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma". "Color" is the colors, the shapes of people and things... "Thin" or "thin" are the sweet sounds, music, and words that make me fall in love, infatuated... " Perfume" is the sweet scent of makeup, flowers, food and drink... "Taste" is the sweet taste of food and drink... "Touch" is the touch of objects and clothes. , the human body that we like... "Dharma" are the means and thoughts that penetrate our thoughts, causing us to generate judgments that distinguish praise, dislike, love... When seeing a person with beauty, the mind runs after form, which is the heart moving. When you see precious jewels and ivory and want to seize them, your heart is moved. When you hear a good sound, you should run after that sound, follow the sweet invitations, move your heart, etc. If you want to stay calm, you shouldn't stick to the green ceiling. The mind is something that is difficult to grasp, agitated, alarmed, difficult to maintain, difficult to capture, ready to follow the preferences of lust, revolve around the five desires and human greed. Taming the mind is not easy, for it is necessary to use the will to control the desire to follow the desires of the mind. When the mind runs after objects, people, and places with enthusiasm, we must resolutely use our will to restrain it. Thus, we see clearly, the mind is at the head of the Dharma, the mind is supreme, all actions are guided by the mind, controlled by the mind, and created by the mind. It is the mind that controls and creates actions by means of "body, speech, and mind". The mind creates good or evil. According to the way of negative action, people often let loose according to their nature. This way is easier to practice, can temporarily satisfy the selfishness and the common desire for human enjoyment. Unfortunately, if we speak or act with ill will or with malice, suffering and unhappiness will follow us like a wheel that follows in the footsteps of a sled animal. But if we follow the way of positive action, people often think maturely, have control to follow right and wrong, knowing the difference between good and evil. If we speak or act with good intentions, with good intentions, then happiness and peace will follow us like a shadow. The Buddha taught us that according to the "Law of Cause and Effect" people had two ways of behaving and each way would lead to a different result. That consequence is good or bad depending on the behavior of the person done in the past or is doing in the present. All the good or bad consequences created by human behavior for society and for themselves, are their own responsibility. Good deeds will create good karma and lead to peace and happiness. Evil will create bad karma and lead to suffering. There is no need for a divine being to reward and punish humans. It is people who reward or punish themselves with their own actions. Whoever sows what he will reap! INCREDIBLE THINGS As above we have seen the law of impermanence everywhere, not only are Body and Mind impermanent, but also "Things" or "Conditions" are also impermanent. We often mistakenly think that only living things change and die quickly, but great things like mountains, rivers, and sand will forever remain in the same place. But that's not really the case. Mountains and rivers also have the old and the young. Sandy soil also sometimes erodes when accreting. Nothing is permanent. It was the scene of "strawberry fields", the sea turned into strawberry fields, strawberry fields turned into the sea. There are many proverbs that say the impermanence of things in a very profound way such as: "Things change, stars move" or "No one is rich three families, no one has difficulties in life". Indeed, in our lifetime, we have witnessed many ups and downs, honors and humiliations, "up and down the dog." Rich, poor, and lowly continue to unfold before our eyes like a "painting of a crane". "No-self" means there is no "I", there is no ego, no essence. For people, for me, for everyone, everything is not attached to a permanent, definite body, but thinks that it is just a body made up of the five aggregates that are temporarily harmonized. Understanding in this way ends "obscurations", no longer confused because of sadness, anger. Things change rapidly, without a separate entity, a fixed substance, a real "I", separate for each thing. Let's try to examine the "I" in man to see if it is a body or a spirit (soul), or a combination of both. If "I" is the body (which in Buddhism is called Form), the body is just a temporary combination of the four "Four Elements". The four great substances in the world temporarily combine to form people and things, namely: "earth, water, fire and wind". "Earth" is earth, which is a hard substance like flesh, bone...; "Water" is water, a liquid like blood, tears, saliva...; "Fire" is fire, a hot substance that is vapor. warmth in the body...; "feng" is the wind, the gaseous substance, the breath in and out, the heart jumping, the lungs breathing, the limbs moving... Let's try an example. The air outside is called the scenery. If we breathe it in through our nostrils, we call that air ours. Once inside, the air will turn into carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide and vapors that are in the lungs we consider our own. But when one breathes out of the nose, those qi are already external. If the plants absorb that carbon, it is called the plant's. Broadly speaking, it was the same with liquids, hot liquids, and solids in the human body. At first it is called mine, and then it turns into a scene or a thing. So why insist on taking it as mine, and calling it "me"? Besides, if all four of those "four elements" separate from each other and each returns to its own type in the universe, then there's nothing left to call me. Saying there is no "I" does not mean that this body does not exist, but you have to understand that it's only temporary because of the conditions that make up this body. At some point this body will surely have to be lost, returning to dust (because of illness, because of old age, because of an accident, ...). If "I" is the spirit, the soul, then spirituality is the emotions of joy, sadness, anger... thoughts, imagination, memory, actions, gestures, distinctions, understanding etc. Buddhism separates those things into four categories called: "Tho, Thought, Action, Consciousness". "Life" is the object that produces a feeling of joy or sorrow...; "Thought" is the opposite scene and realized the black and white, big and small, male and female...; "Operation" is the object of desire or hatred...; "Consciousness" is the object that understands and distinguishes things.Even though we have to synthesize so many things to become a self, if we have the right, we can. When the time is over, there is nothing left to be "I" anymore. In "body" and "spirit" there is no "I". So if there is a combination of the two, that is, "form" is compatible with "feelings, perceptions, mental formations, consciousness" (in Buddhism it is called the body "the five aggregates" or the "five warms"), then the body will separate when it separates. , there is still no separate "I" substance. "Five" is five, "aggregate" is a group, "warm" is a cover. This body contains a group of diseases, old age, death, delusion, and afflictions, it obscures the truth, making people not realize their true "Mind", "Nature". The Buddha taught that things have no substance of their own, to form a "me" of their own. It is just a temporary composite of many "predestined" elements together. When the charm ends, the general must dissolve. It is the law of impermanence and the truth of not-self of all things in the universe. The phenomena in which people are present, appearing and operating in the universe are all temporary and are all false and false. With such understanding, people will not be infatuated with false and temporary things like the body, money, scenery, etc.. are the causes of suffering, retribution, and samsara. The Buddhist doctrine of no-self is the driving force that motivates people to advance in the work of serving humanity.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.5/12/2021.
