At that time, the venerable Maha Muggallana asked the matter thus: “Hey Hoapha, what do you think? Suppose there are Bhikkhu-stilts guarding body, mouth, mind; In this case, do you see that he causes unwholesome cankers to arise, leading to the next life [09] ?" Hoa Phap replied that: "This Great-Mediterranean, suppose there is a monk guarding body, mouth, mind; In this case I see that the cause arises unwholesome cankers, leading to the next life. This Foundation Section-devout-venture, assuming there is anyone in the world before any virtuous act, so that he smuggled unwholesome causes arise until later life [10] ". Venerable Dai Muc Kien Lien explained that: “World-Honored One, today, after lunch, I joined a group of great monks, because of business, we gathered to sit in the auditorium. At that time, disciple Nikien belonging to this Thich Hoa-pha, after lunch, leisurely went to his son; greet each other and then sit aside. I asked like this: 'Hey Hoapha, what do you think? Suppose there are Bhikkhu-stilts guarding body, mouth, mind; in this case, do you see that he causes unwholesome cankers to arise, leading to the next life?' Hoa-pha replied to me that: 'O Dai Muc-Kien-lian, suppose there is a Bhikkhu-stilts guarding body, mouth, and mind; In this case, I see that in the world, unwholesome cankers arise, leading to the next life. If there were someone in a previous life who performed unwholesome actions, Mahamyayana, because of that, he would give rise to unwholesome cankers for the next life'. White World Honored One, just now, I and Thich Hoa-break-disciple Nikien discussed this. At that time, the Buddha said to Thich Hoapha, a disciple of Nikien, that: “If what I say is true, your answer is yes; if not correct he should answer is not correct. If you have any doubts, you should ask me like this: 'Ascendant Gotama, what's wrong with this? What does this mean?' Depending on what I say and you can accept, I can discuss it with you.” Hoa Phap replied that: “Samon Gotama, if what you say is true, I will say it is true. If it's not true, I'll say it's not. If there is any doubt, I will ask Gotama: 'What is the matter with this? What this means?' According to what the recluse Gotama said, I accept it. Therefore, the recluse Gotama, let's discuss it with me." The Blessed One asked: “What do you think Hoa-phah? Suppose there are bhikkhu-stilts born unwholesome body, gonorrhea, hot, sad [12] . Then he is eradicated unwholesome bodily actions, does not create new kamma, abandons old kamma, immediately in the present life attains the end, is no longer hot, abides unchangingly, that is is said to be seen by Noble Wisdom, known by Noble Wisdom. If the body acts unwholesomely, the speech is unwholesome, the mind acts unwholesome, ignorant, impulsive, hot, and sad [13], he then eradicates ignorance and unwholesome actions, does not create new karmas, abandons old kamma, in this very life immediately attains the end, is no longer hot, dwells unchangingly, which is said to be seen by wisdom, known by wisdom. How, Venerable monk, who protects body, mouth, and mind in this way, in this case, do you see that a person's cause gives rise to unwholesome gonorrhea, causing it to persist in the next life?" Hoa Phap replied that: "Suppose, Venerable Gotama, there is a bhikkhu who guards his body, mouth, and mind like this, in this case I do not see him as a result of which unwholesome cankers arise for the next life." The Blessed One praised: "Good thing, Hoa-phah, how, Hoa-pha, if there were bhikkhus ignorance has ended, wisdom has arisen. His ignorance has ended, intelligence has arisen; feeling about the incarnation [14] arises, it is known that the feeling about the incarnation arises; When the feeling of the afterlife [15] arises, it is known that the feeling of the afterlife arises. When the body breaks up after death, life expectancy is over, in this life all sensations have ceased, and I know for myself that I will come to a point of complete indifference [16] . “Beloved, it is like the kernel of a tree that has a shadow. Suppose someone brought a very sharp hammer to cut the roots of a tree, cut it into pieces, break it into ten or a hundred parts, burn it to ashes, and then either let the wind blow it away, or put it in water. What does Y Hoa-pha think? Shadows multiply trees that have; That shadow has therefore completely lost its cause, so it ceases to be born again?" Hoa Phap replied that: "That's right, Mr. Gotama." "Hear Phap, you should know that the other bhikkhu is also like that. Ignorance has ended, wisdom has arisen. The other ignorance has ended, intelligence has arisen; the feeling of the body after birth is known as the feeling of the body of birth; When the feeling of the afterlife arises, know that the feeling of the afterlife arises. When the body breaks up, the life span is over, in this life all sensations cease, and I know for myself that I will come to a point of complete indifference. Thus, Hoa-pha, a bhikkhu with a mind of true liberation [17] thus obtains six abode of wholesome bases [18]. What are those six bases? Hoa-pha, a bhikkhu sees form with his eyes, but he does not rejoice, is not displeased, equanimously seeks, is unconditioned, mindful, and has right knowledge. This, Hoa-pha, a bhikkhu with right mind is liberated like this, that is called the first good abode. Likewise, the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind know the dharma without joy or sorrow, equanimity, non-action, mindfulness, and right knowledge. Thus, Hoa-pha, a bhikkhu with a right mind is liberated in this way, that is called the sixth abode. Hoa-pha said that: "That's right, recluse Gotama!" “The multi-verse sage disciple is thus liberated with his right mind, and gains the six abodes of goodness. What are the six virtuous bases?" "Venerable Gotama, a noble disciple, when he sees form with his eyes, has no joy, no sorrow, and is equanimous, [19] , unconditioned, mindful, and righteous." 'A bhikkhu, with such a right mind of liberation, is said to have attained the first wholesome abode. In the same way, the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind know the dharma without joy or sorrow, equanimity, non-action, mindfulness, and right knowledge. Hoa-pha, a bhikkhu with such a right mind of liberation is said to have attained the sixth wholesome abode. O Hoa-pha, a bhikkhu with such a righteous mind of liberation has obtained these six wholesome abodes." Hoa-pha said that: “Indeed, Gotama, a noble disciple with such a right mind of liberation has obtained the six wholesome abodes. Venerable Gotama, when the noble disciples see form with their eyes, there is no joy, no sorrow, no desire, no action, right mindfulness, and right wisdom. Venerable Gotama, a noble disciple with such a righteous mind of liberation is said to have attained the first wholesome abode. In the same way, the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind know the dharma without joy or sorrow, equanimity, non-action, mindfulness, and right knowledge. Gotama, a noble disciple with such a right mind of liberation is said to have attained the sixth wholesome abode. Thus, Venerable Gotama, a noble disciple with such a righteous mind of liberation has obtained these six wholesome abodes." Then, Hoa-phat told the World-Honored One, saying: “Venerable Gotama, I know. Bach Duc Thien The, I understand. Bach Duc Gotama, like a person with bright eyes, what is upside down is turned over; what is concealed is exposed; for the enthusiast, show the way; in the darkness give light, so that those who have eyes may see the light of colors. The recluse Gotama is the same, for his sake he uses immeasurable means to preach the Dharma and manifest its meaning, following the profound path [20] . “World-Honored One, today I would like to take refuge with the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Order of Bhikkhus, only wishing that the Blessed One would accept me as an Upasaka; From today, I take refuge in myself for the rest of my life, until the end of my life. “World-Honored One, it is like a man who raises a bad horse and wishes for profit. The same goes for me, World-Honored One. That foolish Nikien does not understand well, cannot interpret, does not know good fields, does not consider, but respects, worships, and serves for a long time, hoping for benefits, but only in vain , futile. White World Honored One, I now once again take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma and the Order of Bhikkhus, only wishing that the Blessed One would accept me as an Upasaka; From today, I would like to take refuge for the rest of my life, until the end of my life. “World-Honored One, I didn't know at first, so I had faith and respect for that foolish Nikāna, and from now on it will be over. Why is that? For deceiving me. White World Honored One, now for the third time I would like to take refuge with the Buddha, the Dharma and the Order of Bhikkhus, only vowing that the World Honored One would accept me as an Upasaka; today, take refuge for the rest of my life, until the end of my life." Buddha said so.
