The Zhuan Falun Sutra.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
Dhammcakkappavattana sutta.
Introduction: This is the first Dharma lesson the Buddha preached to the five brothers Kieu Tran Nhu at Deer Garden after he attained enlightenment. This teaching summarizes the main points of the Path to Liberation, namely the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path.
-oOo-
At that time I heard this:
On one occasion, when the Blessed One was staying at the Deer Park (1) in the land of Isipatana (2), near Benares, he taught the five bhikkhus as follows:
"O bhikkhus, there are two extremes (anta) that the monastic (pabbajitena) must avoid:
Laziness in sensual pleasures (3) -- is lowly, vulgar, worldly, unworthy of the virtues of a Sage, and useless.
The ardent attachment to asceticism (4) -- is painful, unworthy of the sages, and futile.
Abandoning both these extremes, the Tathagata (5) realized the Middle Way (Majjhima Patipada), which brings vision (cakkhu) and knowledge (nana) and leads to peace (vupasamaya). 6), sublime wisdom (abhinnāya) (7), enlightenment (sambhodhaya) (6) and Nirvana.
O bhikkhus, what is the Middle Way that the Tathagata has realized, the path that brings vision and knowledge and leads to peace, sublime wisdom, enlightenment, and Nirvana?
It is the Noble Eightfold Path (the eight-fold path) -- Right View (samma ditthi), Right Thought (samma samkappa), Right Speech (samma vaca), Right Action (samma kammanta), Right Livelihood (samma ajiva). , Right Effort (samma Vayama), Right Mindfulness (samma sati), and Right Concentration (samma samadhi). This, monks, is the Middle Way that the Tathagata has realized.
(Buddha continued:)
Now, bhikkhus, this is the Noble Truth of Suffering (dukkha - ariya - sacca, the Noble Truth of Suffering ):
Birth is suffering, old age is suffering, illness is suffering, death is suffering, living with someone you don't like is suffering, being separated from loved ones is suffering, wanting but not getting is suffering, in short, the sleep aggregate is the body. suffering (9).
Now, O monks, this is the Noble Truth of the Origin of Suffering (dukkha-samudaya-ariya-sacca, the Noble Truth of Suffering):
Craving itself is the cause of rebirth (ponobhavika). Craving with the mind earnestly longing, clinging to this or that (life). It is craving, clinging to sensual pleasures (kamatanha), craving, clinging to existence (bhavatanha, craving, attachment in the idea that everything is eternal), and craving, clinging according to the idea of non-existence (vibhavatanha, craving for no-birth, attachment in the idea that after death there is nothingness).
Now, bhikkhus, this is the Noble Truth of the Cessation of Suffering (dukkha-nirodha-ariya-sacca, the Noble Truth of the Cessation of Suffering):
It is the complete alienation and cessation of that very craving. It is detachment, renunciation, detachment, and detachment from craving.
Now, O monks, this is the Truth of the Path leading to the Cessation of Suffering (dukkha-nirodha-gamini-patipada-ariya-sacca, the Noble Truth of the Cessation of Suffering):
These are the Eightfold Path: Right View, Right Thought, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness, and Right Concentration.
I-1) This is the Noble Truth of Suffering
Thus, O bhikkhus, in regard to dharmas which have not been heard before, vision, knowledge, wisdom, insight knowledge, and light arise to the Tathagata.
I-2) This Noble Truth of Suffering must be realized (parinneya)
Thus, O bhikkhus, in regard to dharmas which have not been heard before, vision, knowledge, wisdom, insight knowledge, and light arise to the Tathagata.
I-3) This Noble Truth of Suffering has been realized (parinnata).
Thus, O bhikkhus, in regard to dharmas which have not been heard before, vision, knowledge, wisdom, insight knowledge, and light arise to the Tathagata.
II-1) This is the Noble Truth of Suffering
Thus, O bhikkhus, in regard to dharmas which have not been heard before, vision, knowledge, wisdom, insight knowledge, and light arise to the Tathagata.
II-2) This Noble Truth of Suffering must be eradicated (pahatabba)
Thus, O bhikkhus, in regard to dharmas which have not been heard before, vision, knowledge, wisdom, insight knowledge, and light arise to the Tathagata.
II-3) This Noble Truth of Suffering has been eradicated (pahinam)
Thus, O bhikkhus, with respect to dharmas which have not been heard before, vision, knowledge, wisdom, insight wisdom, and light arise to the Tathagata.

III-2) This Noble Truth of the Cessation of Suffering must be realized (sacchikatabba)
Thus, O bhikkhus, in regard to dharmas which have not been heard before, vision, knowledge, wisdom, insight knowledge, and light arise to the Tathagata.
III-3) This Noble Truth of the Cessation of Suffering has been realized (sacchikatam)
Thus, O bhikkhus, in regard to dharmas which have not been heard before, vision, knowledge, wisdom, insight knowledge, and light arise to the Tathagata.
IV-1) This is the Noble Truth of the Cessation of Suffering
Thus, O bhikkhus, in regard to dharmas which have not been heard before, vision, knowledge, wisdom, insight knowledge, and light arise to the Tathagata.
IV-2) This Noble Truth must be developed (bhavetabbam)
Thus, O bhikkhus, in regard to dharmas which have not been heard before, vision, knowledge, wisdom, insight knowledge, and light arise to the Tathagata.
IV-3) This Noble Truth has been developed (bhavitam)
Thus, O bhikkhus, in regard to dharmas which have not been heard before, vision, knowledge, wisdom, insight knowledge, and light arise to the Tathagata.
(To conclude the lecture, the Buddha taught:)
O monks, as long as the Tathagata's absolutely true knowledge of the four noble truths, under three shades and twelve modes (10) is not fully clarified, until then, Ta The Tathagata does not confirm before the world of gods, Maras, and Brahmas, among the recluses, brahmins, gods, and humans that the Tathagata has realized Supreme Enlightenment (anuttaram samma sambodhim).
Until, O bhikkhus, the Tathagata's absolutely true knowledge of the four noble truths, under three shades and twelve modes has become completely clear, only then will the Tathagata become fully clear. confirmed before the world of gods, Mara and Brahma, among the recluses, brahmins, gods, and humans that the Tathagata had realized Supreme Enlightenment.
And then knowledge and insight arose to the Tathagata (nanadassana) -- the Tathagata's mind was completely liberated, firmly established, unshakable, and this was the last life, without any existence. more (11).
Thus the Buddha spoke, and the Bhikkhus rejoiced and praised the Buddha's teaching.
When the Buddha finished teaching the Dharma, his Dharma Eye (Dhammacakkhu) (12) was no longer entangled in dust and dirt, and he saw that: " whatever arises, it must die. " (13).
When the World-Honored One turned the wheel of Dharma, the gods on the earth cheered, "This wheel of Dharma is truly wonderful! There is no recluse, brahmin, deva, Mara, or Brahma in the world who can preach it. Yes, the Blessed One transported the wheel of Dharma in the Deer Park, the place of the Isipatana, near Benares."
Hearing this, the gods in the heavenly palaces of the Four Great Heavenly Kings, Dao Loi, Da Ma, Da Ma, Tu Hoa Lac Thien, Tha Hoa Tu Tu, and the gods in the Brahma realm, Brahma Purohita, Maha Brahma, Thieu Thieu. Quang Thien, Boundless Light Thien, Quang Am Thien, Thieu Tinh Thien, Boundless Pure Thien, Transforming Pure Thien, Quang Quang, Quang Quang Thien, Immeasurable Thien, No Phien Thien, and the gods in the Perfectly Pure realm, the realm. Truong Cuu, Purity, Beauty, Quang Party and Supreme, also cheered in unison.
It was at that moment, in that moment, that the cheers reached Brahma. Those ten thousand worlds shook, shook, and shook violently.
A brilliant light shines forth, illuminating the world, much brighter than the radiance of the gods. The Blessed One said: "Kondanna is truly enlightened, Kondanna is truly enlightened."
Therefore, Mr. Kondanna's name was Annata Kondanna.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.10/10/2021.
