Seeing a fake body, are you bored with life?VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH. Most people listen, in the Buddhist scriptures say "see the body as illusory", for a pessimistic, cynical mood. In contrast, Buddhists see the body as illusory as the power to benefit sentient beings. As it is said, "The bodhisattva takes his body as an illusion, and saves sentient beings like an illusion", because the bodhisattva sees his body as unreal, so he is ready to devote himself to work for the benefit of sentient beings, even if he encounters difficulties and dangers. fear, because the body is like an illusion, it doesn't matter if you lose it. Seeing sentient beings as illusory, should save sentient beings without accepting and self. Seeing the body as illusory, making people stronger, no longer afraid, before everything changes, but our souls are still at ease… Let's listen to the verse of Zen Master Van Hanh: “The body is like an immeasurable cinema, Van Moc spring, honor and dry autumn. Repent of fortune and loss of fearlessness, Thanh decline is like exposing the top of the street." Pandemic: Is the body like a flash of lightning? Fresh spring plants, pink flowers Wear fearless ups and downs Thanh declines like grass seeds of winter dew. How many words of the Buddha, the ancestor's mind in the sutras, see the body as illusory, fearless spirit like that. * Seeing the illusory body is true. Buddhism says that this body is made up of the four elements, so it's unlikely to last long. The four elements are earth, water, wind, and fire. These four things surround heaven and earth and all things, so they are called great. The hard substance in the body is earth, the wet substance is water, the moving substance is wind, the warm substance is fire. If these four substances lack one, the body must be destroyed. But these four substances are always opposed to each other. Fire does not like water, earth does not like wind, and vice versa. When fire is cooler than water, hot headaches arise; The wind is cooler than the earth, birth is painful and painful. They are always in opposition to each other, so this body is always ready to get sick or to disintegrate. If we are well-adjusted, the body will still be safe, if not, they will be destroyed. The decay of the body is uncertain, a broken blood vessel, a tripping foot, a poisonous wind, a bullet through... is loss of life. The harmony of the four elements is difficult, not guaranteed for a long time, because they are of a hostile nature. Just as four people oppose each other to do a work, if one of the four is missing, the work must be broken. Let's ask, can we make sure these four people get along for a long time? And can the work they are doing be fully accomplished? Indeed, no one dares to promise that at all, because of their rebellious nature. The harmony of four people against each other, no matter how stupid anyone knows, is very fragile. Then, to say that the body is temporarily deceitful is to speak the truth, without a doubt. Not only is their harmony very temporary, it is when they are in harmony that they need to borrow the four external elements for support in order to survive. The borrowing of the outer four elements is lacking or stagnant, the danger of breaking appears immediately. Our nostrils are breathing, we borrow wind, our mouths drink water, when we eat rice, we borrow water, and we borrow earth and fire. If the loan is favorable, the body will be happy and healthy. Borrowing is thwarted, and the body is in severe pain. Indeed, a happy and happy life is due to borrowing and paying back in a peaceful and harmonious way, on the contrary, it is an unhappy life. Survival is borrowed, how dare you say this body is real and lasting? But people in the world are confused for many lives, thinking that this body is real, lasting, and belongs to us. Even the country of fire and wind outside belongs to the nature of heaven and earth, but once borrowed to use it, it is their own attachment. Just as the nostrils have borrowed air for less than a minute, exhaled immediately, saying "my breath". Water and land also accept the same. Something that has just passed this body is said to be mine, unexpectedly this self is also borrowed. That much is enough to see, our delusion of self-grasping is too heavy. Because of self-grasping, we are blind and cannot see the truth. Therefore, when you hear that this body is like an illusion, you immediately hate to oppose it. If this body is real, there must be a guarantee for how long it will last. Really can't guarantee, how to say this body is real. Some people go to the market to buy goods, find the goods they want to buy, but are still afraid of fakes. He asked the saleswoman: Is this a real thing or a fake? The saleswoman replied: The real thing! I guarantee you a good and long-lasting product… it's only true that you can guarantee it, if it's fake, you can't guarantee it, except for stubborn people. This body did not, anyone dare to guarantee, lying is reasonable, what is the doubt? But lying or illusory, to indicate its presence is very temporary, not lasting, without master, not without ignorance, nothing at all. Some people say Buddhism says that the body is like an illusion, why do Buddhist followers still eat, still wear, etc...? To know the body as illusory is to see it as temporary, short-lived, and easily disintegrating. Seeing the temporary truth of this body, we can break the unreasonable false self-grasping, stop our hands, do not create evil karma, bring mutual understanding and support, to have some peace in our temporary life. . * See the illusory body to eliminate the three poisons. Greed, hatred, and delusion are the three poisonous snakes that kill people unspeakably. They not only kill people in this life, but also cause harm to countless lives. As for greed, hatred, and delusion, human beings are still suffering. Seeing the body as illusory, is the way to see it as it really is with the eyes of wisdom. When the eyes of wisdom are open, delusion disappears, and delusion is broken. Si has melted, then greed to follow that stop. When greed is exhausted, the yard has no reason to rise. Because of ignorance, the relationship between falsehood and deceit is mistakenly thought to be true and precious. Because of thinking that the body is precious, it is greedy, wanting to collect all the needs that the body loves. The collection was hindered, and the field rose. Thus, from delusion arises greed, from greed arises hatred, creating karma, causing suffering for oneself and others. The meditator, knowing well that the root of the three poisons is delusion, uses the shovel of wisdom to uproot delusion. The root of delusion has peeled off, the body of greed and the branches and leaves of the yard will also fall, the three poison trees across here will be dry and rotten. Indeed, we have removed the door latch of liberation. The complement of the Prajnaparamita Sutta for all training sessions is mainly here. We follow Buddhism to walk on the path of enlightenment, if we don't light the torch of wisdom, the goal of enlightenment must be far away. The Buddha's Dhammapada teaches that "you light your own torch and go, light it up with the Dharma". Of the twelve causes and conditions, starting from ignorance. From ignorance to samsara is to flow. The cessation of ignorance until birth and death is complete cessation. Due to ignorance leads forever in samsara. Ignorance is another name for delusion. We have seen the true evil face of him, do not take action to destroy him, know when we will end our suffering. Therefore, the meditator directly punishes this wicked man, with the sword of wisdom in hand. Anywhere, any time, yogis constantly searching for wisdom, the deluded army falls to the ground without a single one daring to approach, the victory is won, on the way to enlightenment. On the contrary, being defeated cannot be saved. * Seeing the illusory body reach to not illusory. The reason for not being pessimistic in Buddhism is to see the body as illusory in order to attain non-illusion. Not like ordinary mortals, who sometimes sit quietly and meditate on life, seeing that it is short and temporary, they become bored and frightened. Seeing life going to a dead end, they are bored and bored, sometimes risking their own lives. Practitioners use wisdom to observe that the body is true, it is temporary, devoid of anything valuable. But there is a truth hidden in it, only those who have attained the Way can see it. Let's listen to three lines from Zen Master Huyen Giac's Song of Proof: "Illusion without body means dharmakaya Dharmakaya will be one-of-a-kind The original nature of Thien Chan Buddha." Even in this unreal, illusory body is the dharmakaya. Enlightenment of the dharmakaya sees that there is no form of anything. This dharmakaya is also called the original, self-nature, Thien Chan Buddha. Dharmakaya is another name for the quiet, clear mind of all of us. It has no form, so it is not impermanent, it does not stir, so it does not arise and die, it is always clear, so it is not indifferent. Because we are used to seeing everything according to the form, according to the new movement, we think yes, otherwise, say no. To clarify this point, we listen to the reply of Zen Master Hoai Nhuong to the Sixth Patriarch. When the Master came to Cao Khe, the Sixth Patriarch asked: Where did you come from? Master said: In Tung Son come. The team asked: What came? The Master said: If you say something like a tut, you won't hit it. The team asked: Is there any evidence again? The Master said: Cultivation means nothing, pollution means no good. The Patriarch said: It is this unstained thing that is the place of the Buddha's mindfulness, you were like that, so am I. The mind body quietly filled with clarity is available in everyone, so it is said to be the original, the self-nature. Because delusions arise constantly, making us only see delusions, not seeing this mind. Because only seeing false thoughts should accept false thoughts as their mind, satisfied, over here, resigned to it being dragged in the six paths of samsara. Every thought that arose, or every thought that arose, cut the overflowing mind into pieces. These shards splattered, obscuring the quiet and clear mind. Like a calm sea full of clarity, a strong wind blows, the waves rise one after another, which has cut the smooth sea surface into countless pieces, chasing each other. At this time, people can no longer see the flat sea surface, only see how many waves roar and chase each other. The wave has risen, how to stop? Only when the wind is calm. The wave of mind wants to stop, only when the wind of karma is calm. Thoughts arise have an object. The self and the dharma are the main objects of delusion. Think what? Think about me, about people or things. Seeing the body as illusory, the scene as illusory, is to neutralize the karmic wind. Having known the false scene, there is nothing to worry about, the object has been broken, then the false thoughts have no place to support to arise. So the wind of karma calmed down, the wave of thoughts slowly quieted down, leaving only the sea of mind quietly filled with the same clarity as before. The important work of a cultivator is the wisdom of Prajna, thanks to it, we can break the eternal confusion. It makes a great contribution to bringing peace to the mind. Thoughts that arise are turbulence, birth and death, are clipped, are covered with turbidity. With false thoughts, it is not possible to see the mind that is quiet and full of clarity. Therefore, everyone has a quiet and pure mind that few people realize. I didn't realize that even though I practiced cultivation, I didn't believe that I would become a Buddha. This is the cause of the decline of most cultivators. Hearing in the sutras that there is a true heart, Buddha nature, knowledge of Buddha..., in fact, they never noticed its face. After practicing for a long time, they turned to take care of building a big temple, holding a big ceremony... taking it as a Buddhist work, enlightenment and liberation are considered to be insignificant. To see the true mind, Buddha nature, we must first stop thinking thoughts. The delusions have stopped, the mind is quietly filled with pure and present, no need to expect or expect. But the delusion is not easy to stop, it has become a continuous stream of birth and death in us. In order to stop it, we must first crush the principal object on which it arises, the self and the dharma. Using Prajna, seeing the self, the dharma as illusory, is the magic hammer that smashes the main object of false thoughts. The object has broken down, the false thoughts still arise. Thus, through the wisdom of Prajna, seeing the self and dharma as illusory, the practitioner attains the unillusioned true mind. * Bi - Full of wisdom. When wisdom develops, the practitioner untangles the tangles in the mind. Until everything is smooth, the intellect is round and bright, and the self-awareness part is finished. The part of enlightenment is motivated by compassion, and when it comes to perfection, the practitioner's work will be complete. When performing enlightenment, how should practitioners prepare? Compassionate mind is to bring joy to save suffering. Sentient beings have many kinds of suffering, no other than two, material suffering and mental suffering. Although material suffering is urgent, it is not as permanent as mental suffering. Showing compassion by the act of giving, among the three kinds of giving, giving is the first. Because it is suitable for urgent material needs, it is necessary to make donations first. People who are hungry and cold, but invite them to listen to the Dharma is the work of a fool. First, we have to give them food and clothing, and then give them profound moral guidance. Therefore, the Buddha's practice of giving is placed after the gift of giving. Buddhists want to save people from the deep, eternal suffering of the spirit, first of all, they have to take care of helping people reduce their material suffering. Therefore, even though we see the body as illusory and the dharmas as illusory, we still have to work hard, make a lot of wealth to help those in need, only then will we bring the Dharma to guide and teach them. . Seeing the body as illusory, the dharmas as illusory, then looking at the scenery, watching the moon, and reciting poetry in the thigh, is a person who has no compassion, does not understand the meaning of the Buddha's teaching. Or meet anyone who tries to open their wisdom to Prajna, regardless of whether the person himself is full or hungry, who preaches the Dharma at the wrong time. Because we want to save people's spiritual suffering, we must try to save their urgent material suffering first. Okay, self-awareness, we are full. Self-awareness is wisdom, enlightenment is compassion, Buddhism mainly leads people to enlightenment, so compassion is the same word. * The deluded, the wise, courageously sacrificed. The deluded person has the courage to sacrifice no more than three main factors: greed, anger, and delusion. Because of greed for fame, for profit, for beauty..., they courageously sacrifice themselves, because of their unsatisfied passion, they courageously sacrifice themselves, because of anger and hatred, they courageously sacrifice themselves. Their self-sacrificing courage is motivated by external motivation. They are courageous in fear, sacrifice in recklessness. People want to take advantage of their courage and sacrifice, so they tempt with fame and gain, provoke with hatred, build with ideals. Because they can't control themselves, they have to do what others want them to do. Their lives seem to be very heroic, but they are the heroes of other people's creation. They die in conceit, in conceit, or in closed eyes. The wise have the courage to sacrifice themselves by accepting the truth, out of compassion to save sentient beings' suffering. When they see clearly that this body is conditioned, like an illusion, sentient beings don't know, accept it as real, and encounter suffering and panic. The wise, seeing that, dare to sacrifice themselves, to bring happiness to others. With eyes of wisdom with compassion, a wise person bravely sacrifices himself to help people and save things, not motivated by any other motivation. Saying brave sacrifice, but really nothing worth sacrificing. Because seeing the body as illusory, the loss is worth nothing called sacrifice. Therefore, sacrificing for everyone, still not seeing the self-sacrifice, this is the bodhisattva's soul. Bodhisattvas see sentient beings suffering as if they were suffering, and sacrificing themselves to relieve other people's suffering is an easy job of the Bodhisattva. * End. Through the above reasons, we are entitled to affirm that seeing the false body is the truth, eliminating the three poisons, liberating from birth and death, being positive for people, courageously sacrificing, not pessimistic notions. All suffering, all cowardice, comes from the giant ego. Breaking this ego, there is no benefit that you do not dare to do, any suffering that you do not dare to save, any danger that does not rush in. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is not saying "I don't go to hell, who goes to hell". Is it a limitless strength, when seeing the body is not real. Except for ordinary people, after drinking tea after drinking, sitting and contemplating life, seeing life's fragile life, life is temporary, giving rise to the concept of boredom. From the point of view of these people, it has nothing to do with the wisdom of Prajna. Prajna wisdom does not leave compassion. Perfect wisdom to round Buddhahood.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.6/10/2021.
