SUMMARY MAGIC – CHAPTER 5. EXPLAINING THE FOURTH CONCLUSION.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH. Fifth Chapter Lecture on the Fourth Gathering Some time later, on the day the right shoulder bone relic was located at Thūpārāma monastery, all those who came from the city and saw the wonder of the song pine became ordained as thirty thousand bhikkhus. Then, on the day of the fall of the Great Bodhi tree, Queen Anulā, along with five hundred princesses and five thousand concubines, left home with the elder nun Saṅghamitta and attained Arahantship not long after. In addition, the king's nephew Ariṭṭha, along with five hundred men, left home with the elder and also attained the rank of Arahant not long after. At that time, the king asked the elder Mahinda, saying: "Venerable sir, has the Dharma been established on the island of Laṅkā?" - Great King, the Dharma has been established, but the roots of the Dharma have not yet been planted. - Venerable sir, when is the root said to be deeply rooted? - O Great King, when a child is born on the island of Laṅkā, whose parents are from the island of Lakā, ordained on the island of Lakā, memorized the Vinaya and read and recited it on the island of Laṅkā, then the root of the new Dharma is called deeply rooted. - Venerable sir, has such a bhikkhu already existed? - Great King, there is an outstanding bhikkhu named Ariṭṭha who is capable of that task. - Sir, what should I do in this matter? – Dear Dai Vuong, to build a hall. - Sir, good luck. The king (thinking): " At the time of the great assemblage, the great king Ajātasattu built a hall ", so with the power of the king, he built the hall in the land where the house of the courtier Meghavaṇṇābhaya was located. , then have all the musicians show their talents individually (and declare): “ We will see the roots of the Dharma go down .” Then the king, along with his entourage of thousands of people, went to Thūpārāma monastery. At that time a thousand bhikkhus had assembled at Thūpārāma. The seat of the great elder Mahinda was facing south. The throne of the eminent thera Ariṭṭha was arranged to face north. At that time, the eminent elder Ariṭṭha, requested by the Elder Mahinda, personally went to pay homage to the senior bhikkhus according to their rank, and then sat down on the Dharma throne. Sixty-eight great elders led by thera Mahinda came and sat down around the throne. The king's younger brother, the elder Mantābhaya (thinking): " When the duty is done, I will study the Vinaya " along with five hundred bhikkhus also sat down around the throne of the distinguished elder Ariṭṭha. The rest of the bhikkhus, together with the king and his retinue, each sat down on the seats arranged. At that time, the outstanding venerable thera Ariṭṭha recited the dependent origination of the Vinaya: " At that time, the Blessed One was staying at Verañjā at the foot of the Pucimanda tree of the Naḷeru yakkha ." While the dependent origination of the Vinaya was being recited by the eminent thera Ariṭṭha, a terrible noise was heard in the air and unseasoned flashes of lightning were scattered, the gods praised, it was great. The water-covered earth also shook. While so innumerable miraculous phenomena were taking place, the venerable thera Ariṭṭha sat in the midst of the assembly led by thera Mahinda, together with sixty-eight great elders who had eradicated the taints, with a separate assembly, more on sixty thousand other bhikkhus on the great day of Pavāraṇā of the month Kattika .The first one in the middle of Thūpārāma monastery gave a clear explanation of the Vinaya, of the Buddha's reason for reprimand to clarify the Master's compassion, and of instructions for preventing bodily and verbal karma. Like thera Mahākassapa, thera Yasa, and thera Moggaliputtatissa have compiled the Dhamma and Discipline analyzed according to the Pitaka, the Sutra, the Body, and the Dharma Aggregate; likewise, the great thera Mahinda, while gathering the Dhamma and Discipline, made the roots of the Dhamma deeply rooted in the island of Laṅkā, and made the fourth assembly. When the gathering was complete, the great earth shook in various ways. This episode ends after an undetermined period of time. Regarding this, the ancient documents (porāṇā) say: 1. After the Perfect Enlightenment No Du Nirvana was two hundred and eighteen years, Piyatissako was crowned king . 2. Just as the Elder Mahākassapa, Yasa, and Tissa had the Dharma assembly, so did Mahinda . 3. But the great elder Mahinda developed the supreme teaching of the Conqueror consisting of Study, Practice, and City Dharma on Laṅkā island in a good way . 4. He is a great sage, a lighthouse of Laṅkā, is likened to a Master of Laṅkā, and has done many beneficial things for Laṅkā . 5. All sixty-eight great elders who received the responsibility were gathered. They have a separate assembly and are disciples of the Dharma King . 6. They have the pirated or have ended, the right of the end, have the Tam Minh, know the magic, have testified about the ultimate benefit and have taught the king . 7. After completing the fourth assembly and bringing many benefits to the world, the great hermits shone like blocks of fire and Nirvana . 8. When knowing the nature of impermanence is suffering and this body is difficult to achieve, the wise should immediately make efforts to attain the state of permanent immortality . The Commentary on the Fourth Gathering in the book " The Magical Compendium " made in response to the belief of good intellectuals is terminated.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.4/9/2021.
