The main lady Queen Mahāmayādevī came to a Sālā tree with a large trunk, branches full of blooming flowers; when she stood with her right arm raised, the branch naturally swooped down, she reached out and grabbed the branch with a beautiful standing posture. The noble Bodhisattva will be born in this standing posture; So the officials and the palace maids covered the curtain around the place where she was standing.
