18. Buddha's Thoughts On The Dharma Super Three Realms & Great Brahma Asked The Buddha To Preach The Dharma.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
Buddha's Thoughts on the Super-Three Worlds Dharma
The World-Honored One considers the nine supra-three worlds (Lokut-taradhamma) that the Buddha has attained:
* 4 Holy-Path (Ariyamagga) is the cessation of all defilements.
* 4 Saint-fruit (Ariyaphala) is the dharma that calms all afflictions..
* 1 Nirvana is the solution to the suffering of birth and death.
These 9 super-three-world dharmas are the dharmas of saints only. As for mortal beings, who are attached to the five senses, infatuated with the five sensual pleasures, indulging in the five sensual pleasures, are slaves of 108 kinds of craving, and slaves of 1,500 kinds of afflictions , then it is difficult to realize the truth of the Four Noble Truths, it is difficult to realize the 4 Noble Paths, the 4 Holy Fruits, and Nirvana, which are these 9 super-three worlds.
The World-Honored One thought, "If the Tathagata preaches the Dharma, but sentient beings do not understand the true Dharma, and do not realize the sublime dharma of the transcendental three worlds, then it will only make the Tathagata toil and fatigue. , it's only futile."
Therefore, the Blessed One did not want to preach the Dharma to save sentient beings.
As a rule, Buddhas preaching the Dharma need to meet two conditions:
1- Subject: Buddha with great compassion (mahākaruṇā) wants to preach the Dharma to save sentient beings to liberate all suffering. This condition already exists in the Buddha.
2- Object: The great Brahma requested the Buddha to preach the Dharma to save sentient beings.
That is the condition for living beings to generate pure faith in the Buddha. Because ascetics, ascetics, recluses, brahmins, kings, people, even gods, respect the Great Brahma. Now that Dai-Pham-Thien venerates the Buddha and requests the Buddha- -Buddha.
Because of that great compassion and reverence, sentient beings have pure faith in the Three Jewels: the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha, and have pure faith in them. The Three Jewels, so when the Buddha preached the Dharma, all sentient beings, mankind, gods, Brahmas, etc., would listen to the true Dharma, and then practice according to the Buddha's true Dharma. .
Dai-Pham-Thien Thinh Buddha-Dharma preaching
Knowing that Gotama Buddha was still hesitant to preach the Dharma to save sentient beings, the great Brahma Sahampati informed the entire Brahma world, the gods throughout the ten thousand realms of sentient beings or know that:
– Nassati vata Bho loko!
– Vinassati vata Bho loko! (first)
- Hey guys! All sentient beings are at a disadvantage!
- Hey guys! The entire realm of the three worlds of sentient beings is damaged!
1 Majjhimanikāyapāḷi, Mūlapaṇṇāsapāḷi, Pāsarāsisutta.
Because, Gotama Buddha is hesitant to preach the Dharma to save sentient beings from the sea of suffering and cyclic existence, and to liberate the sufferings of birth and death in the three worlds and four species.
Therefore, the great Brahma Sahampati and the gods and goddesses throughout the ten thousand worlds came down to pay homage to the Blessed One, respectfully requesting:
– Desetu Bhante Bhagavā dhammaṃ.
– Desetu Sugato dhammaṃ.
- Dear World-Honored One, We respectfully request the Blessed One to open his heart with great compassion to preach the Dharma to save sentient beings.
- Dear Duc Thien-Nan, We respectfully request Duc-Thien-Ngon to open his heart with great compassion to preach the Dharma to save sentient beings.
There are some sentient beings with mild affliction, capable of realizing the truth of the Four Noble Truths, attaining the Noble Path, the Holy Fruit, and Nirvana. If those sentient beings had not had the opportunity to listen to the Buddha's righteous dharma, how great the damage would have been!
Hearing the request of the great Brahma Sahampati and the gods and devas, the Blessed One, with great compassion, considering with the Buddha's eye (Buddhacakkhu) clearly saw that there were a number of sentient beings with afflictions are mild, some living beings have severe afflictions, some beings have 5 dharma masters: faith dharma master, dharma master practice, dharma master mindfulness, dharma master concentration, and wisdom dhamma. capable masters, some beings have 5 dharma masters with little ability, some beings are easy to teach, some are difficult to teach, etc.
For example, 4 lotus flowers: (2)
1- There is a lotus flower that crosses the water, waits for exposure to sunlight to bloom that day.
2- There is a lotus flower rising up, lying at the level of the water, waiting to bloom the next day. page199image2958679520
3- There is a lotus flower still under the water, it will wait 3 or 4 days to bloom.
4- There is a young lotus flower that has just been pictured in the deep water. Those young lotus sprouts will serve as food for turtles, fish, etc.

These 4 types of lotuses are compared to the 4 types of people in life:
1- Ugghāṭitaññū: People with superior wisdom, sensitive when hearing the premise of the right-dharma, do not need to develop it, or in a verse with 4 sentences, only listen to the first 2 sentences, people with wisdom- That superior wisdom is capable of realizing the truth of the Four Noble Truths, attaining the Noble Path, the Holy Fruit, and Nirvana, right then and there.
2- Vipañcitaññù: When people of middle wisdom hear the premise of the Dharma and develop it, or listen to a verse full of four sentences, those people with middle-level wisdom have the ability to realize realize the truth of the Four Noble Truths, attain the Holy Path, the Holy Fruit, and Nirvana, right after that.
3- Neyya: People with lower intelligence, when they hear the premise of the Dharma and develop it, still need time to be close to the Saints, the wise to guide and instruct. In addition, people with low-level wisdom will be able to realize the truth of the Four Noble Truths, attain the Holy Path, the Holy Fruit, and Nirvana, in this present life.
4- Padaparama: A person with poor intelligence, even though he has heard a lot, studied a lot or is close to a wise person, that person with poor intelligence is still not able to realize the truth of the Four Noble Truths-- truth, has not yet attained the Noble Path, the Holy Fruit, and Nirvana, in this present life. But this is a good opportunity, a lucky occasion, to cultivate the perfection of Dharma, to realize the truth of the Four Noble Truths, to attain the Noble Path, to the Holy Fruits, to Nirvana, in future life.
The Buddha examines all sentient beings with the Buddha-eye, clearly seeing that there are four such types of people, so the Buddha's teaching will bring great benefit to the first three classes of people who are capable of attaining attainment. The Noble Path, the Fruition, and Nirvana, even in the present life, and also benefit the fourth class (padaparama) in the future life.
Therefore, the Buddha accepted the request of the great Brahma Sahampati, the Buddha will preach the Dharma to save sentient beings. The Blessed One taught that:
- Hey Great-Brahma Sahampati! Previously, there were not enough conditions, so the Tathagata has not yet preached the Dharma to save sentient beings.
- Hey Great-Brahma Sahampati! Now, the Tathagata accepts your request, the Tathagata will preach the Dharma to save sentient beings with good conditions, so that they can be saved, in order to liberate the sufferings of birth and death in the three precepts and four species.
Knowing that the Blessed One had accepted the request, the great Brahma Sahampati and all the devas and devas with great joy bowed down to the Blessed One, and then asked for permission to return to the realm. God.
In this life, only the Bodhisattva of Perfect Enlightenment in the last lifetime and the Pratyekabuddhas in the last lifetime do not need to listen to the Dharma from a teacher, but practice the Dharma themselves- The practice of wisdom meditation leads to the realization of the four Noble Truths without a teacher's instruction, the attainment of the Four Noble Truths, the four Noble Fruits, and Nirvana, the cessation of all afflictions and all cravings. , all evil dharmas, become the first Arahant called the Buddha of Right Enlightenment, the only one in the whole world of sentient beings, or only become the Single-Enlightened Buddha. .
In addition to the last life of the Bodhisattva of Perfect Enlightenment and the Bodhisattvas of the Last Life, all shravakas of all levels need to listen to the true Dharma of the Buddha. -The Buddha of Right Enlightenment, then practicing according to the method of meditation practice can lead to the realization of the truth of the Four Noble Truths according to the Buddha of Right Enlightenment, attainment as follows:
* Attain the Noble Path-entry, the Saint-Fruit-winner, Nirvana, eradicate the two types of defilements, wrong view (diṭṭhi) and doubt (vicikicchā), become a Saint Enter- save.
* Attain the One-Return of the Holy Path, the One-Return of the Holy-Result and Nirvana, eradicate a type of affliction, which is a coarse type of anger (dosa), and become the One-Returner.
* Realize the Noble Path, the Real-Returning-Saint-Result and Nirvana, eliminate 1 type of affliction, anger (dosa) of the subtle type, become the Holy Real-Returner.
* Attain Arahantship of the Holy Path, Arahant of the Holy Fruit and Nirvana, eliminating the remaining 7 types of defilements: greed (lobha), delusion (moha), ego-conceit (māna) ), boredom (thīna), distracted mind (uddhacca), shameless of sin (ahirika), fearless of sin (anot-tappa), becoming an Arahant noble drought.
Becoming a saintly disciple of the Buddha is completely dependent on the power of the 10 perfections of conduct and the 5 dharma-masters (indriya): faith-master, Dharma advancement. -the master, the dharma-master, the dharma-master, the dharma-master of each sage.
Indeed, in the teaching of Gotama Buddha, the Venerable Sāriputta is the most excellent Supreme Saint in terms of wisdom, among the disciples of the Buddha. - Gotama Buddha.
However, he himself was not able to realize the truth - the four noble truths, until he listened to the Venerable Elder Assaji teaching a verse consisting of 4 lines, hearing the first 2 sentences, he immediately realized. Truth of the Four Noble Truths, attaining the Noble Truth of the stream-entry, the Saint-fruiting of the stream-entry, and of Nirvana, becoming the Saint of the stream-entry.
Therefore, it is called the Saint Thanh-man disciple of the Buddha.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.9/9/2021.
