13. The Bodhisattva Abandoned Practice Of Austerity & Life Received Sujātā .'S Milk Rice.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH. The Bodhisattva Abandoning the Dharma-Practice-Austerity The Bodhisattva Siddhattha practiced the ascetic practice (dukkaracariyā) that is difficult to practice for six long years, without reaching the goal of becoming the Buddha of Perfect Enlightenment, should give up the practice of asceticism. The Buddha-Bodhisattva brought the bowl to Senā's neighborhood to return for alms. Seeing the Bodhisatta go for alms like this, the group of five bhikkhus misunderstood that the Bodhisattva had given up his diligence in practicing austerities to become the Buddha. Enlightenment, but returned to normal life, the group of 5 bhikkhus did not follow the Bodhisattva's protection anymore, they led each other to the deer-liberating forest called Isipatana, near the city-city of Bārāṇasī, where they lived. that place. It wasn't long before the bodhisattva saved food, then the bodhisattva's health was restored. During the period of practicing the ascetic practice, which is difficult to practice, the 32 good marks of the great man and the 80 good signs of the Bodhisattva Siddhattha disappeared. Now, the golden body of Bodhisattva Siddhattha clearly shows 32 good signs of great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather and 80 good-sub -par marks , with bright yellow skin as before. 3 On the 14th day of the fourth lunar month, on the last watch of that night, Siddhattha lay down and saw five great dreams (Mahāsupina). Through these five great dreams, the Bodhisattva Siddhattha predicted with certainty that: "I will become the Fully Enlightened Buddha." Early in the morning on the fifteenth day of the fourth lunar month, the Bodhisattva Siddhattha sat under a leather tree, waiting for the time to enter the neighborhood for alms. At the base of this leather tree, every year, on this full moon day of April, Sujātā often brings offerings to make offerings to, thanking the gods, according to her vows. Sujātā was the daughter of the rich man Mahāsena in the village of Senā near the forest of Uruvelā, when she was an adult, she came to this leather tree to pray: “When I grew up, I was able to marry someone of the same lineage and class and give birth to my first son . If I get my wish, every year on the full moon day of the fourth month (lunar calendar), I will make an offering to thank the gods for this tree." Her prayer was fulfilled, so every year on the full moon day of the fourth lunar month, Sujātā often brings milk rice to offer thanks to the gods of this tree. From early in the morning, Sujātā got up to milk eight pure cows, when she brought the milk pot to the breast of the first cow, the milk flow naturally flowed out. What an unprecedented feat! The remaining 7 cows in turn, the milk flow also flows out in a similar vein. When she poured milk into the rice cooker, the boiling milk whirled to the right, not a single drop of water spilled out, and the firewood burned without a single smoke rising. The reason why there are such extraordinary events is because that morning there were the Four Great Heavenly Kings in charge of the furnace, the heavenly king Sakka took wood to put in the furnace, and the heavenly king Brahma covered the parasol. , all the devas put the nourishing nutrients of their power into the pot of rice and milk. The lady Sujātā called her maidservant Puṇṇā and said: – Hey Puṇṇā! Today my gods are so venerable, I have never seen such extraordinary phenomena before! Please hurry to the leather tree to clean it, so that we can bring milk rice to offer, thank the tree angel. Obediently, the servant girl Puṇṇā went to the stump of the leather tree to clean it, she saw the Bodhisattva Siddhattha sitting facing east, from the bodhisattva's golden body emitting a bright light all around. region, she thinks: "This morning, our tree-rooted angel appeared waiting to receive the milk rice offering." Thinking so, she was very happy and hurried back to tell the good news to her mistress. Listening to the clear report of the maidservant, Sujātā generated great good-will with great joy and said to the maidservant Puṇṇā: – Hey Puṇṇā! From today onwards, you become my daughter. After she had finished speaking, Sujātā bestowed upon Puṇṇā precious jewels, befitting her daughter's status. Sujātā brought a golden tray to store rice, when she placed the tray near the rice cooker, the milk rice in the pot naturally turned into a squeeze of jaggery, rolling out sequentially from the pot to the tray. She witnessed another strange thing she had never seen before. Sujātā took a table cage, covered it, and covered it with a pure white cloth. That day, Sujātā dressed up with precious jewelry, then wore a tray of milk rice and her daughter Puṇṇā followed to the foot of the leather tree. Seeing that the Buddha-Bodhisattva had all the good signs of a great man and a good father, the aura radiating from the Bodhisattva's golden body shone throughout the area. Seeing this, she generated even more faith - pure faith and infinite joy like never before, because she thought: Siddhattha Bodhisattva is a tree-angel who appeared to receive her thanksgiving offerings. She reverently approached the Bodhisatta, placed a golden tray full of rice, milk and water, fruits, fragrant things, ... respectfully made offerings to the Bodhisatta. At that time, the Bodhisattva's bowl suddenly disappeared, and the Bodhisatta looked at Sujātā. She then confided that: - Dear Angel, I respectfully offer this golden tray full of items to you. I beg you to have a kind heart to accept this golden tray full of items, so that I can benefit, evolution, and peace for a long time. As I am satisfied, may You also be satisfied. Siddhattha Bodhisattva reached out his hands to receive the golden tray full of offerings. The Buddha-Bodhisattva Life Received Sujātā .'s Cow's Milk Rice After receiving the golden tray full of milk rice from Sujātā, the Bodhisattva got up from the foot of the leather tree, holding the golden tray full of milk rice and milk, went to the Nerañjarā riverbank, where the Bodhisattvas of Right Enlightenment -Enlightened last life-past, before becoming the Buddha, Buddha also came here to bathe, so this river wharf is called Supaṭitthita wharf. The Bodhisattva Siddhattha placed a golden tray full of rice and milk at Supaṭitthita wharf, then went down to the Nerañjarā river to bathe. After bathing, the Bodhisattva Siddhattha put on the robe symbolizing the victory flag of the Arahants, then the Bodhisatta sat facing the East, about 49 milked rice and milk. then drank all the water (from then on for 7 weeks including 49 days, the Buddha did not save food and water, only enjoyed the taste of Nirvana). After finishing the meal, the Bodhisattva Siddhattha took the golden tray and made a vow that: “If today I am going to become the Buddha of Perfect Enlightenment, then let this golden tray float upstream, otherwise this golden tray will float down the stream.” After making the vow, the Bodhisattva Siddhattha threw the golden tray into the Nerañjarā river. It's rather extraordinary! The golden tray cut across the flowing water, drifted to the middle of the river, and from there it drifted upstream very quickly, about a long distance, then the golden tray sank to the bottom of the water, hitting 3 trays. The gold of the three Buddhas of the past: Kakusandha Buddha, Koṇā-gamana Buddha and Kassapa Buddha, emitting a resounding sound, awakened the Dragon-king Kālanaga, thinking: “Yesterday one Buddha appeared, today another Buddha will appear.” The dragon-king Kālanāga awoke in praise of hundreds of verses of praise in praise of a very rare event that had occurred in the world. That afternoon, the Bodhisattva Siddhattha rested in a Sāla grove, on the banks of the Neranjarā river, the sāla trees blossomed all over the forest, to welcome the Bodhisattva of Right Enlightenment. - Sense of Siddhattha. That evening, on the way the Bodhisattva of Perfect Enlightenment Siddhattha came to the tree of Assattha (1) in the forest of Uruvelā, along both sides of the road, the gods were decorated with very beautiful heavenly flowers. Devas in the heavens race to offer incense and heavenly music resounding throughout the ten thousand worlds of beings. 1 This Assattha Tree is the Great Bodhi Tree that was born at the same time as the Bodhisattva Siddhattha. Exactly 35 years later, the Bodhisatta Siddhattha came to sit at this Great Bodhi tree, to become the fully enlightened Buddha with the name Gotama Buddha. Therefore, this Assattha tree became the Great Bodhi tree of Gotama Buddha.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).BUDDHIST DHYARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.8/9/2021`.
