That is why people get old, get sick, or die? The world no one wants to be old, no one wants to get sick and everyone is very afraid of death. It is common belief that death is loss, is no more, to go back to dust, so people are afraid of death. Thanks to the Buddha appearing with his profound teachings, the Buddha's son understood the morality and did not have such a conception. We are told that death is a change, like a change of clothes. This shirt is too old to tear, we should change to a new one. It is the same on the learning curriculum, but the reality is different. Death is crying, suffering, loss, the final answer to this body. People have to deal with that problem, there's no way out. Because there is no way out, in our life, we always have struggles and pulls, thereby forming insecurity and negativity. Actually, in life there are also joys but only a little relief, the rest is that people face afflictions, great fears of old, sick, and unable to resolve. Not only can I not solve it, but also those around me who have no means to deal with it. Prince Siddhartha has always been so concerned, must definitely find a way out for himself, and at the same time guide everyone to liberate. So how much love and worry of the royal family, he is ready to trade. The prince declared to the king father, if your will cannot be resolved, you will not be able to live in the castle. Family ties, love and affection, and the golden golden house of pearls cannot hold him off. Because of this, in the end, the royal family could not keep people with the will to emerge. On the night of February 8, 19 years old, he passed the monkhood, seeking a way out for himself and humanity. The Buddha attained full enlightenment through his practice efforts, and we followed him, Is that possible to be enlightened? This is a problem we must raise, so that our spiritual future will not be blurred, there is a definitive direction in our practice towards enlightenment and liberation. For a meditator, the criterion is to receive and live with one's awareness. There are some brothers who hear that when awareness is, you can visualize awareness, and hear that enlightenment also imagines that you have enlightenment, but in fact, it is not possible to go deep into practice, so this place should be right. re-survey. So what is awareness, what is liberation, can we do it right in this life? Awareness is the Buddha's mind, the true mind is available to each of us. To realize awareness, we must silence all crazy delusions. Silence all delusions and then all thoughts. End of mindfulness is to stop karma. To stop karma is to be free from all attachments of afflictions. Thus, we can realize enlightenment and liberation right in this life, if we try our best diligently. Enlightened disciples should not allow their lives to drift into a negligent and ambiguous position, so it is truly regrettable and also to blame. Therefore, we must affirm our daily diligence, step by step on the ground truthfully, we will definitely attain enlightenment and liberation. In every moment we live in the truth, the mind is peaceful and liberated, making sure to master the problem of samsara. Cultivating, of course, Buddhists want to practice, but drastic perseverance is not yet another thing. We are still glancing at the two sides, there are still waves, still wandering up and down, meaning that we have not been drastic, but not drastically did not arrive. Because solving the problem of samsara is a fatal act, requires us to be decisive. What is liberation? Solution is to open up, to escape is to no longer cling. Liberation is out of samsara, no longer stuck at all. For all the conditions, the events in front of us, we are always awake, well aware, and will follow without mistake, gradually we will be enlightened and liberated. If you practice diligently, continuously, without interruption, from the specialization called the introspection, the moment of light will definitely come. On the contrary, if we do not cultivate deeply, these moments are very far away for us. Buddhists are still bound by karma, which is hindered by the surrounding conditions, which distort your spiritual practice. Due to cultivating not seeing results, so bored, in the end, like to pray, relying on forgiving force outside. Must know liberating enlightenment is yourself, but still many people do not believe this. Because I do not believe, I pray to someone for enlightenment and liberation. I myself do not get enlightened, but sign who for enlightenment, who to give. If you are not open-minded, if you are not liberated yourself, you have to endure in the three realms of six paths. For many lives, we are deluded, unconscious, causing negative karma to create, now cultivating the results of suffering. If you want to stop suffering, you won't cause bad karma. We are the master of the column, now must be the master you open. Others don't know how to open them to us. As if there are things we hide in our hearts, no one will know if they do not say it. When I want to say it, I want to be like that, I need to be like that, the support from outsiders can help. Still keep it hidden, no one can solve it. The Blessed One and the Bodhisattvas are the same, they are always compassionately waiting for us to present and clarify their karma so that they can show us how to solve it. If we hide it all the time, then between them and us will not be involved, there is no reciprocity at all. The person learns a lot, remembers a lot of Dharma but the profound stubbornness does not release, does not open itself, the Dharma has no effect on karma. Only when we dare to open the door, dare to open it, dare to look directly at it, will the Dhamma work and be valid. The path of enlightenment is very important, we ourselves form, but cannot ask for anyone. The closest person in their spiritual life is the teacher, the next is intellectual friendly, but no matter how much they love, they show us the methods to cultivate, not being able to cultivate for us. Because cultivation is not like money, objects, food, but it is a matter of intuitive experience, which cannot be given. This is very special. As in the Suttas, the finger points to the moon, who is intelligent from the finger to receive the real moon in the sky. On the contrary, the fingerless man is the means, not only not recognizing the real moon, but also spoiling the finger. The same applies to the application of the Buddha's teachings and the cultivation of virtuous knowledge and spirituality. Thanks to our friendly knowledge we know the Dharma to practice, but achieving the results is due to our real effort in cultivating the truth. If you only listen superficially, it will definitely not work. When we receive and live the new awareness is not influenced by external conditions. The reason I am still dominated by the ceiling is due to delusion and dense ignorance. Therefore, the charming scenes and events around me are like playing. Sometimes things are not worth anything but it still drags, making us stuck running back and forth. Now how not to be dominated? First of all is awareness. Awareness is not mistaken, awareness is known. For the dhammas I am not mistaken, knowing it is a fake should not be dragged. Must be sensitive, constant with awareness, not to miss any gaps. Continuously like this we will reduce the pull of external conditions. As usual, every day you do housework, cook for lunch, rest, practice again in the afternoon. But this morning I met a friend who invited me to my house, met happily and organized a long meal, which took all a day. Obviously you are dominated, losing precious opportunities to practice. But you still automatically accept that domination. Sometimes we even let it grow heavier and thicker, then of course seeing it as fun, losing myself when I don't know. I would like such a small thing, Buddhists experience again, it will be clear that if we do not make a definitive determination, the whole life will be dominated by the external environment, which takes us a lot of time. When we get used to it, we think it is normal, how can we practice anymore. The ancients did not have time to cut their nails when they cut their nails. Like there was a Zen monk in the woods, he was backing potatoes in a fire. Then the emissary of the king came and said: Venerable Bach Venerable! There are only invited mats. He plucked the potato from the fire with his hand, peeling it off and dripping it from the nose. The messenger was very enlightened and said: Please feel free to wipe the runny nose. He said: There is no free time to clean. What is that? The ancients used meditation to practice intensively, not paying attention to the outside, the matter of improving the body, it doesn't matter if the king only gave it, he only knew his duties. Through the above story, we see our diligent daily practice to keep intact and actively. As always, enlightenment and liberation can be realized. We have done it ourselves, it is said to lead sentient beings to enlightenment and liberation. Our capacity, original capital is sufficient, all the outside jobs are not difficult. On the contrary, the original capital is not stable, we are working outside, we will definitely encounter difficulties, rarely achieve. Due to the incomplete roots, the speaking and doing are not coupled, this easily loses the trust of everyone around us. There are four human phenomena in life, what are they? The old age, writhing, debilitation of the body After all, no matter whether a person succeeds or fails in all fields, at some point this body will grow old and crippled. Therefore, cosmetic products are always in vogue, beauty salon has developed a lot. Because of the degenerate change of this body, even though we hope it is beautiful and enduring, that desire is just a dream, with no answer. Sometimes a little worried, at the beginning of the night we don't get tired, we don't feel old, but overnight, sleepless, in the morning we see gray hair, sluggish people, everything around is fading, not cheerful. again. What is that? As the phenomenon of old people, the body is weak and exhausted. Maybe Buddhists will question the practitioner that this body is not real, is afraid that the body will change and fade? Sir, although knowing the body is not real, if we don't have the body, we will cultivate it. Having body, practicing karma, having defilements, having friends, having conditions, we have cultivated, ordained, learned the Dharma, and practiced the Buddha's teaching. People who know how to make use of spiritual practice are not dependent on circumstances. by body but know how to use the body for the purpose of becoming karma. When we see that the body is governed by impermanence, we make more effort to cultivate, every moment building morality and virtue to be enlightened before our body dies. Seeing and applying this way, each day is not wasted at all. But if we are not smart, we are persistent, suffering and bothering because of the body, because the scene is not true. Defilement from ignorance arises. We have not mastered, have not awakened yet, have not been enlightened, so we are disturbed by disturbing emotions. Only when awakening, the pre-present wisdom shines through the dark ignorance will there be no defilements. 1. People suffering from bodily illnesses In this world, anyone who doesn't get sick? The elderly are sick, the small are also sick, people with a lot of money are sick, people with no money are also sick. How to not get sick? This answer is very difficult to solve. Because the body is the root of the disease, the root of suffering. We foolishly built up this body out of darkness, lust, now entangled by it. There is no one from young to old who never gets sick. There are very few people who get sick, but each time they get sick they are near death. Some people are sick constantly such as colds, coughs, headache, runny nose, aches and pains, the wind does not like the rain and does not like it, so the body has to live in constant suffering. As the body ages, being piled up by many events in life, the more sickness becomes. Just one healthy day, today I put on a stick, my legs are falling. Everyone prays, longing for a strong, healthy, and fresh body, living a hundred years old. Thus, the wish I had reached out of hand, the reality was in the opposite direction. With cultivators, what attitude do we have regarding this state of the body? What method must practice to win over, maintain meticulousness, not fall sick, lose the will to practice? If we cannot master or overcome ourselves, the illness will reduce and interrupt our diligent practice. So cultivators must know how to regulate body and mind, especially keeping their mind pure. Use the power of meditation to overcome your fears of illness. If we can regulate our body and mind, we are healthy, cultivate forward, develop our mind, and be diligent. 2. The phenomenon of death If people do not have air conditioning, the four elements are deviated from any side, they can no longer use the body. When this body died was a rotten corpse, people were disgusted. This is a very essential project for cultivators. Practitioners who still have a little fantasies about the appearance, face, and beauty of the body, please reflect on the third stage of death. Such shop will help him fully awake. What province? Awake by disgusting the filth and program of the body. The body is not real, so the beauty is not real, so we are no longer attached to the body. If we cannot regulate our body for a second, we will stop breathing. If you stop breathing, leave your body. The body left a couple of days when it was muddy and stinky, everyone was disgusted and disgusted. Even though it was the body of a person of great compassion, when it was no longer breathing for a couple of hours, people immediately packed and closed the burial box. People say to build a beautiful grave to build a grave, but actually re-cover it carefully so as not to evaporate the stench. From there we realize that the elaborate body conditioning is an important skill. Here is to say in the period when we are healthy, but when we are no longer healthy, to say that air conditioning is not an easy problem. What is the air conditioner? When health deteriorates, walking with a cane means having a third leg, but in need of a fall it falls down on the frame as usual. I can't control it. Since then, we see the conditioning of body and mind is a practice that cannot be underestimated. That's why we can use this body in the time we need to practice. 3. The phenomenon of liberation Here opens a new horizon, possibly our last dream place. Why dream? Because we are forced by the old body to become sick and then die, we hope to have a method, a certain horizon for our safety. But if it's all right, then nothing. Buddhism helps people to have a judgment, opens up practice methods, from which to apply properly with the instructions of intellectual friendly friends. We cannot sit there hoping for enlightenment, or wait for others to give us eternal joy. Never entangled in such delusional silk. Right here to solve their main problem, take advantage of deeply implementing the Buddha's teaching method. The fourth phenomenon is the phenomenon that allows us to dream, and from dreams to reality. That horizon is accomplished by diligently practicing spiritual practice, solving all the stubborn human problems like getting old and sick and dying. We must be active and actively fulfilling our dreams. To do that, we must have calmness. Calmly to realize, to go deeply into the practice, to face all the events around, I am not passive. The ancestors in the past taught: People who meticulously practice walking like a buffalo, look like a tiger. Heard it is gross, but that is the way of spiritual practice that incarnates morality. What is it like to say like a buffalo? The buffalo goes step by step steadily, not like ape monkey jumping back and forth. A person with a calm virtue will take any step with certainty, walking in awareness. What does it mean to look like a tiger? The tiger is always looking head-on, not whirring like ape. Can we discern a deep, calm person from the outward appearance? Cultivators must calm down, alertly examine the surrounding scene. If not calm, it is easy to fall, fall, or get lost. We bravely advance on the path to liberation from suffering, old sickness and death. The Zen master said: Living like a winter blanket, dying like taking off your clothes. In the hot summer, it is so much fun to take off a sweaty shirt. For a meditator, death is not loss but relaxation, being as gentle as taking off a summer shirt. What's so sad, what's to cry? But wanting to be like that is not easy. If we do not actively take the initiative, deal with our affairs, remove the bonds in old, sick, and dead, then we cannot indulge in life and death. Happy in life, Calmness at death is the most precious image of the cultivator. If I have fun, I can only cultivate, I can eat well and sleep well, but I can't live with all the frustrations in my heart. When we can master, not be misled by the dhammas, that is wisdom, freedom, simplicity like that. The Venerable Venerable taught us to let go of the thoughts, not to let it drag. In any activity, there is just a moment of thoughts that we let go, be calm, calm, master, immediately wisdom arises. That wisdom is the Prajñā wisdom, knowing that all phenomena are false and untrue. So once let go is let go, but do not cling to anything, clearly so. We have a habit of going around again. Like in the afternoon, I have disturbing emotions, I immediately put it in my stomach so that I can meditate with it in the evening. But keeping from afternoon to evening is more of a problem, not that much. The other sister's words that afternoon, I put it in my stomach until the evening it was different. So we have to solve it immediately, that is to let go of it, without bothering to save it as anything to do with afflictions. The story of spiritual practice is nothing but resolving all troubles, troubles, and uncertainties in our life, in our activities. So the prerequisite is that the cultivator must always be alert. Buddha says sentient beings and Buddhas are the same age. It is immeasurable lifespan. The Buddha has ordained to become enlightened, preached and passed away until now for more than two thousand and five hundred years that we are still confused sentient beings. Because ignorance makes us dark, bound in this life. Now I disassemble, release it, let wisdom come out of it. This is not easy, very difficult. Then how to practice now? As Buddhist disciples we know well, If I do not deal with old illness, there will be no one to replace me. Only when we get rid of all the residues and bad habits will our wisdom come into existence, then we can solve the problem. Buddha says ignorance is all, the money is present. Ignorance with clarity is like light and darkness. Just open the light switch, do not have a fixed border. As soon as the switch is turned on, the light is on, darkness runs out, but when the lights turn off, darkness comes, the light is gone. The boundary of the light and dark can not be found, it only requires us to know how to use the light switch, the dark ignorance cannot cling. Dark ignorance cannot cling, the horizon of pure, clear emptiness appears. Thanks to the Buddha's manifestation in life, we know how to practice to be enlightened and free our karma. Whether we can do this here or not is up to us, not him. The birth of the Pope has many victories. The first victory is to help us to deal with defilements and defilements through each person's spiritual endeavors. Thanks to know that it is sexual contraband, defilement, so we do not contain, do not nourish in our hearts, so we do not suffer. The second victory is that the Buddha helps us practice to be enlightened from samsara. No one takes the vow to be a man or a woman, just hope that you will be enlightened and free, no more attached. If there is rebirth, then choose the path freely, do not let karma bind around in samsara. Zen masters also say this eloquent sentence: Wherever there is no Buddha go there to be a Buddha. The Zen masters have many disciples, when the disciple dies too much, the gentleman sits up and says: I know the way, you have to cry. If you don't know the way, I am afraid that I will cry somewhere, and know how to cry over here. The third victory is all of us darkening. At the same time, it also helps everyone around us to be as wise as we are. It is the practice of self-discipline, enlightenment, and perfect fulfillment of the Buddhas. In every moment, we are also enraged by dressing, sleeping, socializing ... but with the strong determination of the Buddha, we are determined to practice what the Buddha teaches. Ever lived with the pre-eminent awareness of the present, enter the pure, lucid, all-over pure legal body that has paid off for the Buddhas. After all, we follow the path of the Buddhas to aspire to all sentient beings, to go to the edge of awareness.
