WHAT IS THE EIGHTFOLD PATH? WHAT'S INCLUDED? APPLICATION IN LIFE. the path leading to liberation and bliss when he explained the "Noble Truth, the Eightfold Path". The Zen master has drawn that: “Tao is inseparable from our real life, including the suffering we have been going through. Dao does not fall to the earth from heaven. Dao is the way to find out even in situations of suffering "... Talking about the Eightfold Path, the Zen master told us: "We must remember that the practice is a practice method closely related to our real suffering." So in fact what is the content of the Eightfold Path - the path of transformation that leads to liberation and peace in the Buddhist teachings? The Eightfold Path What is the Eightfold Path? In the Buddha's first discourse at Deer Park garden, he mentioned the Noble Truth - one of the four truths of the Four Noble Truths. Accordingly, to realize the Noble Truth, liberation from samsara and step by step to nirvana, it is necessary to practice according to the Eightfold Path. Eightfold Path or the Eightfold Path, the Noble Eightfold Path (Sanskrit: āryāstāngika - mārga) means the true path divided into eight genera, which is the basic teaching mentioned in the Noble Truth. That eight-factor path includes: Right Understanding, Right Thought, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Aspiration, Right Diligence, Mindfulness and Right Concentration. In Buddhism, the eight-chi path in the eightfold Path is often symbolized by a drawing of a wheel with 8 spokes. The content of the eight-chi path in the eightfold Path: Right understanding Right Understanding is the first branch of the path of liberation to bliss. "Right" means righteousness, is right, "View" is seeing, is perception, perception. "Right Understanding" is understood as the correct and discernible realization of wisdom. According to the Buddha, the first thing on the Eightfold Path is to understand correctly because it affects our now and later perception of the worldview, human life. Right understanding does not simply stop at "knowing" the theory but it is also "understanding" to the end, placing "knowing" in our own experience. Like learning about the Four Noble Truths, first we have an overview of the four basic truths, but in order to truly "permeate" we need to be clear about what suffering is, is practice, is cessation, is religion. So true understanding means understanding that all things that exist in the world are caused by conditions, nothing is everlasting and it is ever-changing; Understand that there is cause and effect and karma; Aware of our existence, of everyone, everything at this moment; Realizing the suffering, impermanence, selflessness of all things ... Right thinking Right Thought is the second step of the Eightfold Path, which means that thinking is righteous, not contrary to right. From right understanding (right view) makes us think right, understanding every journey is difficult, traps lurking, but we still persevere and believe in our path. True thinking is to think about and understand the root cause of suffering for yourself and for the person who is ignorance, which is greed - anger - delusion. From understanding we just step into the path of practice, liberation for ourselves. The Eightfold Path Right Speech The third branch of the Eightfold Path is the righteous speech or true speech. Right speech is not lying, not speaking embellishments, not saying stabbing words, not saying cruel words, not saying vulgar words ... On the way to bliss, we must understand the power of words affecting ourselves and others. Why can a criticism, right or wrong, cause disappointment, anger, and self-esteem, but encouragement can "save" an entire person? Right speech means the practice of speaking honestly, upright, amiable, unbiased, saying simple words, speaking praises, saying words so that the door of enlightenment from the heart of each person ... Right karma Right karma means righteous discernment. Practicing righteous karma means doing good, not killing, not adultery, not stealing, doing righteousness, respecting the lives of all species, not harming the profession, property or status of others do things ethically ... The source of hatred, attachment, cruelty is the mind of greed - hatred - delusion. Therefore, when the practice of doing the right thing is to make greed - anger - ignorance not arise, from which the life is pure, everyone around will enjoy blessings. Right life "Life" here means life, life. Buddhism promotes the equality of all living beings, all life. Therefore, Right-life means doing a righteous livelihood, honesty, not exploiting, not harming the interests of others. The 5th branch of the Eightfold Path encourages a pure life, away from professions that can generate negative karma in the future, such as: arms trade, human trafficking, butchers, poison sales, cannibalism ... Right diligence "Diligence" means diligence, trying to be sunny, paying attention. Right diligence means trying constantly, not discouraged from focusing on the right ideal that you are pursuing. The importance of Right diligence shows that if we set innumerable goals but do not persevere to it, we will not be able to reap the fruit. Right diligence is the practice of eliminating bad habits while cultivating good things, cultivating wisdom and merit, self-control, right connections, and righteous thoughts. Mindfulness "Mindfulness" means remembering, thinking. In Mindfulness is divided into two factors: mindfulness and mindfulness. "Mindfulness" - means thinking about the past, and "Bored of contemplation" has the meaning of observing the present, starting the future. Thus, "Mindfulness" is to encourage the practice of being aware of the moment in the present moment and concentrating on that moment. For example, when we are eating we are aware that we are eating rice, while we are walking we are aware that we are walking ... not by acting disturbed by other factors. Many people eat rice but are not aware that they are eating because they are engrossed in their work in progress, anger in the afternoon ... so eating rice is like not eating but becoming an action stay awake. The Eightfold Path Right concentration "Concentration" here is understood as meditation, concentration of thoughts to practice. "Right Concentration" means concentrating thoughts on the truth that is right, beneficial for you and others. On the journey to enlightenment of truth and bliss, we must really practice, practice continuously, not just based on theory. When we achieve the state of concentration - fully focused on the goal, the object, our mind will see what we want. Conclude The Eightfold Path is mentioned in the Central Sutras as follows: "Due to the right view, right thought arises; Due to right thinking, right speech arises; Due to right speech, right karma arises; Due to the right karma, right life arises; Due to the right life, the right diligence arises; due to the right diligence, mindfulness arises; due to mindfulness, right concentration arises; due to right concentration, right mind arises; Due to the right mind, liberation arises. Thus, the Bhikkhu-stilts, the path of the organic being consists of eight parts, and the path of the Arahant consists of ten parts ”. Thus, the 8 branches of the Eightfold Path are closely related to each other. On the path towards bliss, happiness, we need to practice the Eightfold Path, which is mainly to forge our own body - speech - mind.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.17/2/2021.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY =VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
