UNDERSTANDING GENDER AND THE BENEFITS OF GENDERING IN BUDDHISM. The Five Precepts are the five precepts not to be done by the monks of the house that Buddhists take the vow to receive these 5 precepts (Precepts: is a barrier to prevent bad deeds of body, speech, and mind). Buddhists receive these five precepts during the initiation ceremony or vow. Five precepts are the five precepts, the five recommended and must be kept by the Buddhists at home. The reason the Buddha set forth five precepts is because he wishes for the lay Buddhists to enjoy good retribution. Buddhists cannot only receive the Three Precepts without observing the Five Precepts. The one who has taken refuge is taking the first step, if not keeping the precepts means stopping there, not moving forward. These five precepts are not only to step forward on the path of liberation, but also bring order, peace and peace to the family and society. The lay Buddhist takes refuge in one to five of the following precepts: Pànàtipàtà veramanì: Avoid killing. Adinnàdàna veramanì: Stay away from theft. Kàmesu micchàcàrà veramanì: Stay away from adultery. Musà vàdà veramanì: Stay away from lies. Suràmeraya majjappamàdatthàna veramanì: Stay away from easy drinking. The Buddha does not force Buddhists to comply thoroughly, nor threatens if they do not comply, they must be punished, whether to keep the precepts or not is up to each person to take. Buddhism differs from other Religions partly in this regard. The Five Precepts are the five strongholds that prevent us from going into evil ways, the five barriers that prevent us from falling into the abyss of sin. To fully understand, we analyze the sexes one by one. 1. Panātipàtà veramanì: Stay away from killing No killing includes not killing from humans to large animals such as elephants, horses, buffaloes, cows, etc., to small species such as insects, insects, ants etc. Not only do not kill Harm without hurting humans and species. Buddhists also do not tell others, plotting for others to do the torture, killing sentient beings. When people see other people beating and killing animals and humans, they show compassion and discourage them. The observance of the precepts without killing is for the purpose of protecting justice, all living beings want to live and fear death, all sentient beings have the same Buddha nature. To keep the precepts of killing is to cultivate compassion, a person whose compassion cannot kill people or things. Keeping the killing world avoids karmic retribution, because blood debt will be paid with blood in this life, but in the next life, Thus, the resentment karma has no end. Up to now, humans have killed a lot by means of making nets, fishing etc ... fishing in the water; making traps, bows and arrows, guns and bullets to kill animals in the air and on the ground; and especially using all kinds of tricks to kill each other. The preceptor who does not kill always has a calm mind and a gentle expression. If everyone in the world keeps the world from killing, the world will no longer be at war to kill. 2.Adinnàdàna veramanì: Staying away from theft Not stealing means not giving or taking, from homes, gardens, possessions, money to small possessions. Also called robbery, when taking private or public property, company or state, when forcing people by force or power, when using deceitful tricks, tricks, etc. ... to usurp the office. right, money such as bankruptcy, jerks, speculation hoarding, weight loss, deep tax evasion, etc ... as well as robbery. In a nutshell, all unjust acts of greed and unrighteousness are robbery. Buddhists are not allowed to plan for others to steal. When you see other people doing the theft, you must advise to discourage cockroaches. The benefit of the world of non-robbery is to maintain equality between people and people, each person has private property rights, an unfair society is difficult to last for long. Not robbery also shows compassion, because a person has to work hard to make money to support family and family and save money in case of sickness or old age. If you lose it, you will suffer extremely and hopelessly, sometimes even suicide. Many times we also suffer from loss of possessions, consider others as well. Nor should they steal from people, that is fairness. Thieves and robbers, even if they escape the net of the law, but their conscience is always afraid, and the cause and effect of karma in the next life cannot be avoided. People in the space are greedy, in this life, they live a peaceful life. People can trust everywhere in this life, they will be blessed with wealth in the next life. In terms of society, if everyone is space to steal, then the house does not need to close the door. In short: This gender is related to the physical financial factor. Maintaining fairness (not scratching) is the core thought. Unjust fraud must be eliminated. 3. Kàmesu micchàcàrà veramanì: Avoid fornication No adultery is not to seduce or use tricks to steal other people's wives, not to force others to satisfy their sexually, not to rape women or girls. Buddhists are not told, plotting to others to commit adultery. Also not happy, but also to discourage, condemn when seeing people commit adultery. Not for adultery to protect justice, to protect happiness for one's family and to one's family, without adultery also to avoid hatred and bad retribution, because there is no more powerful resentment than hatred. caused by cheating on love or cheating. If everyone keeps the precepts from adultery, the family will be warm, the society has morality and morality, and there are no more deadly hatred for adultery. Although the Buddha only forbids adultery, but between husband and wife, they must also maintain reason, moderation, know how to abstain from them, so that the body is healthy, the mind is gentle and pure. As for the monk, then the prostitution. 4.Musà and veramanì: Stay away from the lie Lying is a lie, telling the truth, whether to say no, Not saying yes makes the listener mishandled. Not lying also includes all three other things of the mouth: not two-edged words, double-headed blow, making two different people hate each other. Next is not to say the words embellish, add or subtract, have a little bit of acid, talk sarcasm, make the listener sorrowful and start evil thoughts. Not to speak cruel, vulgar, and gruff words like cursing and cursing so badly that the listener is afraid of suffering. A Buddhist should not induce others to say such things, and when seeing other people say these unkind words, they must be unhappy, and discourage him or her. In the Sutra of the Great Convenient Method of Buddha Bao An, the Buddha told Venerable Ananda, the attendant of the Buddha: "People are born in life, born from the mouth, so they must keep their mouths more than strong fire, For strong fire that burns only burns this one life, as if saying evil will burn for countless lives. Fire only burned houses, the riches of the world, and evil words burned the seven things of the saint. Therefore, Ananda, sentient beings are born from the mouth, the real tongue is a sharp hammer to cut itself, a drawing to destroy themselves. "Buddhists need to keep this precept because Buddhism is the religion of the world. it is important to respect the truth, because of cultivating compassion, Buddhists must avoid lies and deceit in order not to cause fear, sadness, or suffering to others. This is also to preserve loyalty in society, people trust and unite to keep society stable, because if a society does not trust anyone, all jobs from small to big will fail. harm others, lie for personal gain. Not lying is both good for us and good for others. Remember to only speak the right language in a convenient place, at a convenient time, and to bring good results for sentient beings. 5. Suràmeraya majjappamàdatthàna veramanì: Avoid agitation like drinking This world does not seem important, but careful consideration is very important, because drunkenness can cause violation of the four above-mentioned precepts, which are killing, robbery, lying, adultery. As in the time of Buddha Ca Lettuce, someone drank drunk and committed mischief with other people's wives, then forced their chickens to be killed for meat, until they asked, they denied they did nothing. Also, do not force other people to become addicted to alcohol, induce vomiting, and when other people are addicted to alcohol, advice should be given from time to time. The prohibition on alcohol consumption also includes the use of drugs, because it also makes the user mentally ill, crazy, lost mind. People who do not drink alcohol also avoid wasting money, reduce illnesses in their bodies, growth in wisdom, long life expectancy, healthy children, and peaceful families. In short, the Five Precepts are very important precepts for Buddhists, helping to keep the body pure, the mind at ease, and avoid confusion because of the complications of social life. Keeping the five precepts helps the cultivator's soul be gentle in terms of karma to avoid having to contemplate morality. Gender keeping brings justice to everyone, equality among all species; All people in general and practitioners in particular understand the five precepts, practice the five precepts, strictly follow the five precepts, happiness will come to the family, order, peace will come to society, humanity and so on. gender. A society where all members can fulfill those five precepts, it is the most exemplary and civilized society in the world. Beings are born into the heavenly world by keeping precepts, being rich also by keeping precepts, being liberated, entering Nirvana also by keeping precepts. Because of these reasons, good faiths should try to maintain the precepts that are pure, do not be indifferent.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.16/2/2021.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
