2-SECOND QUESTIONNAIRE:

 

     Dai Hue Bodhisattva again used a shelf to ask:

The sun shines all over,

Beings upper, middle and lower.

Like the world,

Declaring truthful words.

Why divide the excess,

The sermon says the truth?

 

     At that time, The Ton used the shelf to answer:

1. If you speak honestly,

Their hearts are not true.

Like the waves of the sea,

Like mirror shadow, illusory dream.

2. All at once,

So is the realm of mind (1).

Now the realm is not enough,

Because of reincarnation,

3. Consciousness by perception,

The intention for that.

The year of consciousness depends on the current scene,

There is no certain class.

4. Like a good painter,

And the painter's student.

Shape drawing color pen,

My theory is the same.

5. Color is inherently meaningless,

Not pen or silk.

For the pleasure of sentient beings,

Draw all sorts of shapes.

6. Using speech testimony,

Really leave the text.

Basic differentials (2),

Cultivate to the truth.

7. The truth is self-enlightening,

Leave the senses, sense.

This is because Buddhists say,

Difference between fools.

8. The world is like an illusion,

Although not true at present.

So is the sermon,

Depending on the means of making.

9. Medical salaries of patients,

Depending on the disease that medicine.

Unreasonable theory (3),

Where they become non-fiction.

10. Depending on the mind (4) sentient beings,

As Lai theory.

Non-realm of delusion,

The text has no parts.

For mercy on those who love,

Theory of self-discipline.

 

     Again, Dai Hue! If the Great Bodhisattva wants to know the quality (5) of self-consciousness, regrets and regrettors for the realm of delusion, must leave worldly customs; day and night six times often self-alert, practice means, must leave the speech of the evil view and other generals, communicate the illusory form of self-existing mind.

 

EXPLAIN:

(first). Realm of mind:  The essence of the mind is all over space and time, so it appears at the same time, there is no before or after.

(2) Basic:  Call it Preliminary, Beginning, Initiation. Muscle is the base; Basic is only for novices.

(3) Mechanism:  Depending on the time that act.

(4) Quality :  Center to measure, measure and compare the other.

(5) Quantity:  There are meanings:

1. Know right : 1. See clearly (s: pratyaksam). 2. Direct perception, especially the immediate perception without any inference. 3. Basic perception in Buddhist logic like perceiving things as they are. 4. Practitioners of the Fa-rectification are realized, manifesting being full of all time space, this reality is called Show quality, the use is called Show quality.

2. Misunderstanding:  Quantity is a measure to distinguish right and wrong of knowledge, awareness has not distinguished judgment, perception is affected by the form and the distinguishing effect of concept.

 

     This third question and answer, the Bodhisattva asked with the intention: As the sun shines everywhere, the Tathagata illuminates all kinds of sentient beings ( upper, middle, lower ), revealing the truthful words, why divide into many yanas say bad words?

     The Buddha replied:

1. If you speak honestly,

Their hearts are not true.

Like the waves of the sea,

Like mirror shadow, illusory dream.

2. All at once,

So is the realm of mind (1).

Now the realm is not enough,

Because of reincarnation,

     This means that if they say the truth, their mind is not true, it is like a wave, like a dreamlike shadow, all at the same time, the realm of mind is the same. Now the current realm is incomplete due to the transformation of the reincarnated karma.

 

3. Consciousness by perception,

The intention for that.

The year of consciousness depends on the current scene,

There is no certain class.

4. Like a good painter,

And the painter's student.

Shape drawing color pen,

My theory is the same.

     The realization ( consciousness ), continuous initiation of thoughts ( mind ), depending on the current scene there is no class; for example, the painter uses a crayon to draw figures, the Buddha says the same.

 

5. Color is inherently meaningless,

Not pen or silk.

For the pleasure of sentient beings,

Draw all sorts of shapes.

6. Using speech testimony,

Really leave the text.

Basic differentials (2),

Cultivate to the truth.

     Not because of crayons or silk fabrics because they are meaningless, just for the satisfaction of sentient beings should draw all kinds of appearances; so Buddha used the truthful words.

 

7. The truth is self-enlightening,

Leave the senses, sense.

This is because Buddhists say,

Difference between fools.

8. The world is like an illusion,

Although not true at present.

So is the sermon,

Depending on the means of making.

     The truth is the knowing and knowing that the fools attached to distinguish; the world is corrupted untrue changes, Buddha set up the means to sermon must also follow.

 

9. Medical salaries of patients,

Depending on the disease that medicine.

     As Herbalist customize treatment for drugs, sermon without appropriate not right opportunities and radical, it is not the sermon, so Buddha depending mind than measuring distinguish it from other beings' ( interest amount ) that the application theory. Not that the realm of Thanh Van's delusion is somewhat, now because Buddha has mercy on those who love that the theory of the realm of the original knows ( the sense ).

     Evil is composed of 5 things  :

1. Self-View  is called the body, which is the attachment of self, is the false perception that there is a separate ego existing in reality that owns the objects in the universe.

2. Bien Kien  is a misconception that is biased toward one side, such as accepting that life is often exist ( often knowledge ), or accepting that life does not exist after death ( the view ).

3.  Wrong View is the wrong perception of things, such as  there is no true understanding of the relationship between  samsara, cause and effect, etc.

4. The View Thu Kien  is the grasping of 3 things: Self-View, Kien Kien and Ta Kien.

5. Prohibition of Thu Kien , is practice according to View Thu Kien, so it certainly leads to mistakes.
