To recite incense to worship Buddha, which name of Buddha should be recited first?VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.

Currently, there are many people who are quite wondering about reciting Buddha's name when they go to Mass or at home but do not know which Buddha name to recite first.

Voffering incense to Buddha or offering water or offering fruit, fresh flowers  …. that's a very good thing.

Because it is part of the spiritual ritual, the purpose is to show one's devotion to the Three Jewels. It belongs to the external appearance. However, as a Buddhist when making offerings, in addition to offering offerings or reciting the name of the Buddha, we think we should also know more about the meaning of those actions.

Need to understand the Truth and Reason in the Buddhist teachings

In the Buddha's house, any job has two distinct meanings: The reason and the reason must be tolerant. In other words What is that Li.

With this understanding, our work will have substantial benefits and not fall into superstition. Otherwise, the Buddhist is susceptible to the error of superstition and witnesses. Means deluded and clinging to one side.

When a Buddhist consecrates water in worshiping Buddha, he must understand that it is a manifestation of the meaning of pure water and mind. Offering water is also one of the daily offerings of Buddha to accumulate many merits that Buddhists should maintain.

The Buddhist must keep the mind pure like a clear glass of water. Because Buddha means awareness, awareness is awareness, mindfulness.

So, when worshiping the Buddha, Buddhists must sincerely keep mindfulness. To have mindfulness is to have peace. But if a Buddhist offers to the Buddha but with a mindless mind, wandering thoughts, or calculating this and that, the Buddhist will not be very beneficial.

And so, the worship of the Buddha in general only has a formal appearance. That is to follow in the past. Do not understand the basic meaning of work. That is also a great Buddhist omission.

From worshiping Buddha deduced to other works.

Buddha teaches Buddhists any action that is compatible with awareness, that work has meaningful practical benefit. If we talk about the general, the worshiping Buddha is of course blessed.

Blessed is that when worshiping the Buddha or the Bodhisattva, the Buddhist revered sincerely. It is that sincere respectful place, so the new Buddhists have the blessing. However, if that was the case, then it was not enough of the meaning of offering. Buddhists need to understand more about the meaning of doing that.

Because the offering made of material things has a symbolic meaning only. If a Buddhist only understands simply offering fruit or other things to be blessed alone, think, then it is not the right meaning of offering fruit to the Buddha.

Buddha is enlightened, and worship means to grow. Raising what? That means raising the good base. Buddhists must constantly grow and develop their good roots and wisdom. Thus, it is true to the meaning of worshiping the Buddha through two aspects: "Fullness and fullness".

Do you know:

Normally, we should recite the title of Buddha Shakyamuni first

When making offerings, a Buddhist who wants to recite either a Buddha or a Bodhisattva at his disposal is fine. Usually, however, we should recite Shakyamuni Buddha first.

Because He is the rabbi of this Saha realm. Thanks to him, we can know the Buddhas and other Bodhisattvas. At the same time, by studying His teachings, we can know the way of spiritual escape from suffering.

Therefore, we should keep in mind His great and boundless merit. Therefore, when doing something we must recite His name first.

The purpose is for Him to bless our work. That is to say according to the ritual the way of practice is like that.

And if a Buddhist feels that he is predestined to any Buddha or bodhisattva, then it's okay to recite their names. There is no Buddha or a Bodhisattva who rebukes the Buddhist.

If they are a practitioner of the Pure Land practice, they often recite the name Amitabha Buddha. Someone often believes in the aspiration of suffering of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, so just recite his name.

In short, depending on the preferences and conditions of each person, reciting the name of each Buddha or Bodhisattva is different. There is nothing wrong with which position is first, and whichever is after.

However, as mentioned above, we are currently living in this realm, so first we recite the title of the Buddha Shakyamuni, and then recite other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. than.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.12/8/2020.
