When Buddha Shakyamuni was still alive, there was a very rich rich man who had a beautiful and gentle wife, and his life was extremely happy. However, misfortune suddenly struck: he was married for a long time to give birth to a son, the new baby was born with a serious illness.

On the boy's skin grows toxic pimples that make him cry and cry all day. The family of the bourgeois who invited many famous doctors also shook his head to give up. The boy cried out in pain every night, crying and groaning disturbed the neighbors, so the boy was named "Crying Gao".

Near his house, there was an old neighbor, he heard the cry of Crying Gao's pain, touched with compassion, then came to his house to visit and said:

“I heard a lot of people praise and praise that at Ky Vien monastery there is a Great Medicine King, a disease in our body or a sickness in our hearts can all be cured. He has miraculous miraculous means of miracles, no matter how serious your illness is, he will heal immediately, so he should quickly turn to him and ask for healing. "

Crying Gao heard that, then he was overjoyed. He hurriedly brought the sick body to Ky Vien monastery and asked to see the Buddha.

When Crying Gao saw the majestic appearance of the Buddha, he happily praised immediately. His suffering and suffering greatly reduced, he immediately planted the whole year in the ground worshiping the Buddha.

Compassion Buddha preached the Buddha Dharma to Cry Gao. After listening to the Buddha's sermon, all afflictions were dispelled, and he repented of all the sins he had created. Miraculously, the boil poisoning that had tormented him for over ten years immediately vanished, and his suffering was completely eradicated. Crying Gao gave birth to sincerely and sincerely rejoiced, so we asked the Buddha to allow him to be ordained as a monk. He practiced diligently, soon attaining Arahantship.

Other monks who saw the situation of Crying Gao felt extremely rare, so they asked the Buddha to talk about the conditions that caused him to suffer the retribution of pimples. The Buddha preached to his disciples:

Countless lives ago, there were two rich men in Ba La Nai city. Normally the two did not like each other and were jealous of each other, so one of them brought a lot of precious gold and silver to the king, and then disguised the other person in front of the king, saying: 'He is extremely evil. , often using malicious tactics to harm me.

The king had already accepted the dedication, so he no longer wisely judged, most trusted this man and ordered his arrest, disregarding the rich man's excuses, also brought him to torture. dire.

The rich man was injured and covered with fish scales, and had to rely on his family to pay a ransom money to be released home. When he got home, he thought incessantly, seeing that people are suffering because of their relatives. Not long after, he entered the mountain to practice and finally became a Buddhist monk.

The Pratyeka Buddha developed great compassion, feared that the other person in the next life would suffer the retribution of suffering, so coming to his house to show miracles, causing the other to give birth to respect, immediately invited Bich Chi Buddha to the court and sat and prepare all kinds of special foods to offer and repent of his former sins against Him.

The Buddha said come here, stop for a moment and then continue:

You must know, the one who mourned with the king was the monk Khóc Gào who suffered in this life. Later, thanks to the grace of Bich Chi Buddha, repent of old sins, and through the merit of taking refuge in the Three Jewels, today I am saved by the Tathagata, quickly attaining Holy results. Don't expect gossip to say without anyone knowing it. Poor karma cannot be escaped, even in a hairline. But having committed such a sin and knowing to repent can be saved (1).

In the Five Precepts of Buddhism there is a precept that prohibits "speech", that is, not to lie, to speak cruel words that hurt people, to defame and cause divisions, to fabricate the honor of others, etc. These actions are all create karma, damage one's own report. Because bad karma has created people who violate the precepts, they will suffer illness, suffering torture in the future, possibly even being sentenced to hell to suffer torture, reincarnated as animals ...

Among them, the most serious is slander, fabrication, and defamation of cultivators' honor, especially those whose virtuous conduct has attained fruitfulness. History has recorded many such examples. During the Buddha's time in the Garden of Solitude, the bhikkhu Cu Ba Ly disguised the Buddha that the bhikkhus Xa Loi Phat and Muc Lien Lien did very evil deeds, creating evil deeds. Because Bhikkhu Xa Loi Phat and Muc Lien Lien had attained Arahantship, soon after Cu Ba Ly grew poisonous pimples, as large as mustard seed, gradually became pea-sized, gradually like a ma-fruit. -or, close to the size of a peach, again with a fist, with blood and pus overflowing, the body ruined in hell (2).

Today, the development of the internet and social networks makes information easy to spread, only one false news, a slander can overnight and affect millions of people. Therefore, we need to be more careful with our own words and comments, and at the same time we need a wise reason to discriminate against dishonesty, to avoid unintentionally supporting people with bad intentions, as well as protecting the future. nice to yourself. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.6/8/2020.
