Today gold mixed sports, causing us not know what is the Chief Justice, evil. As for the Buddhist Sutras, too, we don't know where to look to get the 100% perfect Sutras. Because the three Great Tripitaka of the Buddha now also have imperfections. Because in the last few thousand years, the destiny of sentient beings on this Earth has been changed, so the Buddhist scriptures are also affected by the destiny of sentient beings. Although the Buddhist Sutras over the past several thousand years have been lost and transformed many times, they have been shown here every day to gather and refine them. Thanks to that, the three Great Sutras of Buddha have survived to this day. Although the Buddhist Sutras, for thousands of years, have been preserved and protected by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, they still cannot avoid defects. Why? Because the Buddhist Sutras over the past several thousand years have experienced many times of assembly, translation and translating into many different languages, it is inevitable that the errors are in writing and interpretation. Although the three Great Sutras of Buddha now have defects, only defects in the tops and the original are not defective. Why? Since the Buddhist Sutras from the past to the present are always protected by the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Dragon Gods, the Dharma protectors, there is no story of root loss. If we will learn about the history of Buddhism from the past until now, we will see that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are always with us in every age. Thanks to that, in the last few thousand years, whenever Buddhism was degraded, there were Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who came to revive Buddhism. If for thousands of years, there were no Buddhas and Bodhisattvas accompanied and protected,
In addition, all the dharma taught by Buddha in 49 years, is just to speak about the truth of the universe , human life , mind and liberation . If what belongs to truth, no one can distort or change it. As long as we open the mind, we will understand all the Buddha's teachings in the three Great Sutras. Once understood, we will no longer be obstructed by the texts. Saying that does not mean that we do not value texts and interpretations. Of course we have to take it seriously, because if we misinterpret a word or say a sentence wrong, it will harm countless sentient beings. That's why my grandparents said, " Wrong by one inch to a mile ."
Also because they understand the importance of the texts and interpretations of the Sutras, the previous Patriarchs have to think and carefully consider each time they recite or translate the Buddhist Sutras. Because you know that if you say the wrong word, it will damage the lives of sentient beings for many lives and lives. If sentient beings are fallen, then you must also fall. Therefore, His Holiness cannot neglect to preach, assemble and comment on the Buddhist Sutras. Although thousands of years ago, the Patriarch had defended the Buddhist scriptures rather than the protection of his life, the suffering was that there were ghosts everywhere. If it is a theory, the Buddhist scriptures, even if they are 100% complete, become defective. If it is Buddha theory, then even if the Buddhist scriptures are defective, they will become complete. So whether the Buddha Sutra is complete or defective, the preacher must be considered a Buddha or a ghost. If we understand these doctrines, then we will no longer be attached to the texts whenever we study the Buddhist scriptures. It is important for spiritual practitioners to see the nature of the Sutta. Want to see the nature of the Sutta, first we have to worry about practicing to open the mind. When wisdom is opened, we will integrate into the nature of the Sutta. When integrating into the nature of the Sutta, even if the texts or interpretations of the ancients were flawed, it did not make us misunderstand the nature of the Sutta.
Dear you! Currently, we live in a relative world, not the absolute world. If it is the relative world, then all our words are right and wrong. Why? Because we are ordinary, not Buddha. We only differ in that some people talk a lot wrong, some people say a little wrong. But no matter how much or how little wrong, all of us are still crazy, crazy. If we were not ignorant, we would have been Buddha for a long time and will not be here anymore. In this world only the Buddhas are 100% right.
There is one thing we need to know about: Most of the scriptures and tapes we preach from time to time are flawed. We only differ in that some people make a little mistake, some people make a lot of mistakes. But no matter how little or wrong, we all have different imperfections. In short, most monks, nuns, and lay Buddhists have had disabilities in the past, and I am no exception. Why? Because we are monks, not Buddhas and only Buddhas preach 100% true Buddhist Sutras. Even though the Enlightenment Bodhisattva sermon is still partially flawed. If we understand this truth, there will be no more self-conceited mind, we will no longer claim to know everything and there will be no more slander of the Buddhist Sutras. Now I would like to analyze into the defect between the great Bodhisattva Sangha, St. Increase , philistine Increase and deviant Increase different where, for you to learn more.
I. Great Bodhisattva Sangha
When preaching about Buddhism, he preached relatively accurately. But when you teach about the Pure Land method, you still have gaps. Why? Because the Pure Land Method is only taught by Buddha 100% thoroughly, even though the Enlightenment Bodhisattva still has some defects. In the Buddhist Sutta, "The Pure Land Method is unbelievably superior and only the Buddha can understand Buddha ." The Buddha meant that the Pure Land dharma could only be understood by the Buddhas and only when sentient beings become Buddhas will they understand it all. In summary, the great Bodhisattva Sang Bodhi tree still lacks some leaves, so making beings unable to see the perfect Bodhi tree 100%.
II. Holy Sangha
When preaching about Buddhism, the gentlemen preached relatively clearly. But when he taught about the Pure Land method, he still taught many defects. That means you draw the Bodhi tree and only draw the root, trunk and branches, and the leaves are not complete. Although he painted the Bodhi tree missing the leaves, but at least sentient beings also realized that it was the shadow of the Bodhi tree. Therefore, the errors of the Sangha are not many.
III. Phàm Tăng
When preaching about Buddhism, we preach lost head and tail. That is, we draw a Bodhi tree that each draws a different angle: Some people can draw a part of the root and miss the top; Some people can draw part of the top but leave the base and branches ... In short, we can draw only a few corners of the Bodhi tree, but not the entire Bodhi tree. Therefore, the more we paint, the more confused we get people, not knowing where the Bodhi tree is. That's why our mistakes are more numerous.
IV. Evil Monk
When preaching about Buddhism, they only preached the top but lost the original. That is, they drew a Bodhi tree and could only paint a few trunks, branches and leaves, and the root they could not . In addition, because they wanted to fascinate sentient beings, they drew many beautiful flowers on the Bodhi tree. They did so to cover the eyes of sentient beings who thought the Bodhi tree they painted was perfect. Then from that mistaken view, beings believe that they are masters and follow the path of practice. But in fact, they are not masters but evil teachers. The pitiful thing is that these evil monks don't know they are evil beings. Why? Because they were also covered by the Demon King, it was not good. If we mistakenly follow them, we will also become descendants of the Maou, without knowing it ourselves.
V. Evil Increase Dangerous
When preaching about Buddhism, they distorted the truth. Meaning they take the religion of heaven, people to deceive sentient beings misunderstand that Buddhism is the end. And Buddhism in the end, they defamed ... They wore robes, but they were descendants of Maou. They do not want sentient beings to become Buddhas, so they often slander Mahayana sutras such as the Sutta Pitaka, Sutta Pitaka, Amitayus Sutra, Amitabha Sutta, etc. Western Bliss and Amitabha Buddha are not there. In short, they do not draw the Bodhi tree, but they also deny that there is no Bodhi tree.
Through the summary analysis above, you have understood some part between right and wrong. In addition, you also understand why the Buddhist Sutras are defective. But not so that we give up, not to study the Buddhist Sutta. If we give up everything, there will be no Sutras and books in this world for us to study.
BECAUSE. Part remind
My grandparents had a saying: " A worm makes a pot of soup ." Although we all know that the worm makes the whole pot of soup, but in this Dharma-ending period, if we took away a pot of soup, we would starve to death. Why? Because today is the time of Dharma, all of our soup pots have worms. If a pot of soup has a lot of poisonous insects, then we have to go away and not eat because we will get sick and die. As for the soup that has a little depth, we should fold them and try to eat them all. Because only this way, we can exist in this Dharma age. When we learn Buddhist scriptures are like that. We must know which refines the Scriptures and videos are not so much in order to practice. We should not meet any scriptures that are Buddhism, then learn or follow them to practice, then we will continue to be reincarnated.
There is one important thing that we need to know: If we want to become a Buddha, we should not rely on things such as status, qualifications, certificates or studying abroad ... believe. Because those things have nothing to do with our practice and becoming a Buddha. If you rely on people who have those things, to believe in Buddhism and practice following them, you will be deceived.
You you should know that: France world and France made it completely different. If you want to learn about things in real life (worldly dharma), then you can rely on people with status, qualifications, certificates ... to learn. It is only possible not to be absolute, because today the fake degrees and the deluded judgment of people are very scary. Also in Buddhism (worldly dharma) If you rely on people who have those things, be careful. Why? Because most people who have a lot of those things, are people who specialize in Buddhism rather than studying Buddha. If we specialize in Buddhism, we should not trust. Because most of them can only talk about theories without speaking the truth of Buddhism. In addition, these people talk very well. Or so much so that his nickname is the wise position. The intelligible position, that is, they use the mind of the world to justify various ways and make their words heard. But in fact, they defame Buddhism more than promote Buddhism. The pitiful thing is that they are in a long-standing position, and become descendants of the Maou without even knowing it. Because they did not know, they gave to heaven, who is Buddhism to end, and Buddhism, they defame as superstition ... In short, they are the ones who remove the root. They remove the root to take the top is not enough, but they still want to drag many beings to take the root to take the tops like them, so that beings forever reincarnated cannot escape. In short, they are no different from those who only chew the bagasse of others, but they themselves have never tasted the taste of sugarcane. Because they could not taste the taste of the cane, they could not tell the sweetness of the cane. Opposite, They also deny that there is no sugarcane in this world. Try asking such a delusion, crazy?
Although we have infiltrated into the Buddhist Sangha very much, but no matter how we ghost, the Dharma of Buddha will forever be unchanged. Buddhism is the religion of wisdom, it is not a simple theory, it is not the first practice of meditation. In order to have wisdom, we must know how to return to find the Buddha in our mind. In order to see the Buddha in our hearts, we must first believe in Buddha and our Buddha mind. Here are three very important things that Buddha advised us to believe and practice in this "Dharma-ending" period:
- The Buddha advised us to believe in Buddha Amitabha and to believe in the Western realm of Bliss.
- The Buddha advised us to believe in the 48 vows of Amitabha Buddha and to believe that Amitabha Buddha built the Pure Land, to lead us to be reborn there to become a Buddha.
- Buddha advised us to generate the mind of Amitabha Buddha and to make a prayer of rebirth in Amitabha's Buddha to attain Buddhahood.
If you would like to understand the three most important teachings of the Buddha taught above, then please search the Pure Land Sutras to find out more. When you learn well, then you will develop solid faith. You only need to believe deeply and earnestly to open the mind. When the mind is opened, you will see three precious treasures, which we have forgotten from beginningless lives till now, which are:
- We will see the Buddha in us again (we become Buddha);
- I will see my house of seven treasures again (my ashram);
- We will see our treasure of wisdom (Buddhist Sutra) again.
In short, if you want to see the true Buddha , see the true ashram and see the true Buddhist Sutras , then you must turn to your mind to find it. Because all these things are available in our hearts. Please don't run around anymore, because we don't have much time. In addition, the human body is difficult but easy to lose.
VII. Combining two austerities mirrors
Here, I would like to summarize two stories about the life of Buddha Shakyamuni and Hui Neng to prove to you that our mind already has all of it.
- The life of Buddha Shakyamuni: When he was not a monk, he was a Prince. In India at that time, he was known as the first master of the doctrine of life and religion. After that, he left the palace to search for a way to study, and he found the two highest religious monks in India at that time, named Arahant and Uttarlam . After studying with these two masters for a while, he realized that the realms of those two teachers were still flawed and not yet fulfilled.
After that, he asked the two teachers' permission to leave to find the truth. He left because he understood that the path of liberation he sought was only in his heart, not in the outside. In addition, at that time, he realized that the teachings he had learned in the past were delusion, not true. Because he understood, he let go and determined to sit under the Bodhi tree to meditate, to find his true heart. Finally through 49 days of meditation, he rediscovered his true mind and found the nature of all living things. After seeing the nature of all things, he exclaimed, " Unexpectedly all beings have the same true nature and all beings can become Buddhas ... ". After that, he transmitted the dharma to help sentient beings to understand and receive their Buddha nature again to make Buddha like Him.
- Luc To's life : When he was a monk, he was a poor and uneducated child. Everyday, Hue Nang only knew to go to the forest to cut wood to feed his mother. One day, Hui Nang accidentally overheard a guest chanting the phrase: " Ung loves the premature birth of wondrous children " but be enlightened. Afterwards, Hui Neng asked his mother to become a monk and went to the Five Patriarchs to ask for renunciation. Soon afterward, the Five Founders passed on the bowl of medicine to Hue Nang to become the sixth Patriarch of Zen Buddhism. After the Five Patriarchs gave the bowls to Hue Nang, He advised Huee to flee, because there would be many jealousy that killed Hui Nang to get the bowl. Afterwards, Hui Neng was chased by many people, so he fled to the forest and hid in the hunters for 16 years. After that, the opportunity to save sentient beings was ripe, so Hui Neng had to come out and come down the mountain to bring forth renunciants to spread the Dharma.
After Hue Hui went down the mountain to preach the Dharma, there were many monks, nuns and Buddhists from all over who came to listen to him lecture. During his propaganda years, if monks, nuns or Buddhists would like to ask about the Buddhist scriptures, he would ask them to read passages they didn't understand so that he could hear them because he was illiterate. But each time, they just read a few sentences, then He asked them to stop, because He had understood the whole passage they wanted to ask and He immediately explained to let them understand. Although Hui Hui was illiterate at the time, his words were widely recognized as the truth of the Buddhist Scriptures. Therefore, after he entered Nirvana, the monks gathered up his quintessential teachings and made a Sutta called "The Sixth Patriarchal Sutra ".. Now we learn about the sentences after enlightenment, what Hui Hui said. After enlightenment, he exclaimed: " Any doubt nature which are not shaken. Any suspicion of self-nature always born of everything. No doubt the inherent nature is fully available ... ”
Through the two stories of Buddha Shakyamuni and that of Hui Hui, give us a great enlightenment. Speaking of Shakyamuni Buddha, in India at that time he was the first to master all the doctrinal teachings and life, second to none. Yet in the end, He had to put away all that He had learned before, in order to return to find the wisdom available in His mind. And Hui Hui Nang is a person who does not know a word and has never learned the Buddha Sutras, but when he attained enlightenment, he could preach through all the Buddhist Sutras. Meanwhile, there were so many Dharma teachers and monks in China at that time, who understood the profound teachings and also had many high positions in the court and dignitaries in Buddhism. Yet they did not tell the truth of Buddhism. Eventually, they had to come to Hue Hui to listen to the lecture about the truth of Buddhism. This shows us the problem of becoming a Buddha, having nothing to do with things like qualifications, grades, studying abroad, etc., but it only relates to our true mind.
Now let me tell you more about the story of my religious life. If any of you have ever read through two of my books called " Experience of reciting Buddha's name and the stories of reincarnation " and " Meaning of Dharma Dharma and Dharma protector ", not less then you will understand some of my life So, here I just summarize the key points only.
Speaking of life's path, I was born into a poor family and have many brothers and sisters. Because the country changed, I only went to sixth grade. Later, because of circumstances I had to get married and cross the border to the US. Later, I got divorced and had three children. Talking about the path, before being "single-mindedly" I was not predestined to read Buddhist scriptures, but I only read a few books about Buddhism. In addition, when I was a child, my mother took me to the temple to take refuge in the Three Jewels. Thanks to that I know how to recite two sentences: " Namo Amitabha Buddha " and " Namo Guan Yin Bodhisattva ". Although I know, but I don't recite Buddha's name often, only when I am afraid of ghosts or encountering dangerous things, I will recite Buddha's name.
Then in 1980 I crossed the sea and came to the United States in 1981. After a few months after coming to the US, my mother died. Since then, I have recited the Buddha regularly to pray for my mother. At that time, I did not understand anything about the Pure Land practice, I simply thought: If I recite Buddha's name more and more, I will pray for grandparents, parents and sentient beings. Other than that, I didn't think anything else. And just like that, I recited Buddha's name for many years. After that, I was fortunate to read an article on the Pure Land method, from which I recited Buddha's name more diligently. Although reciting the Buddha's name more diligently, I still did not dare to recite the Buddha's name to become a Buddha because I did not have enough faith in myself.
Then one day predestined to meet, naturally, someone brought me a book called " Reciting the Buddha Remnants " by Layman Tinh Hai. This book is about the Pure Land practice and is about the evidence of reciting Buddha's name. After reading that book, I immediately made a Buddhist vow to become Buddha. Thanks to my vow to become a Buddha, a few weeks later I realized one-pointedness. After being single-minded, I realized something: That is because I made a vow and asked me to recite Buddha's name for many years to pray for my grandparents, parents, and sentient beings so that I could be "one-pointedly". Not long after being single-mindedly, my mind lit up, I saw the truth of everything from false to true. At that moment, I burst into tears and said, "It is unbelievable that all beings have Buddha Nature and all beings can recite Buddha's name to become Buddha… ”.
After seeing the truth, I was determined to write a book to tell everyone about the miracle of the Pure Land practice. But at that time, I was worried, "Do not know what is in the mind that is right with the Buddhist Scriptures? In addition, I only studied until the sixth grade, how can I write ... ”. In short, at that time I was worried about everything. Later, because I wanted to be at peace, I decided to search for some Buddhist Sutras to compare with my mind and I also wanted to learn some more Buddhist words to facilitate my writing.
After that, I recalled that one day I had a one-pointed heart, when Dao Quang introduced me to the " The Infinite Life Sutra "”There are 29 tapes of Tinh Tinh Khong that were first published. But at that time because I didn't know what the "Infinite Life Sutra" was and saw that the Sutta was too long, I refused to take it. But that day, Dao Quang kept telling me to listen to that sutra because it was very good. After that, because of my admiration, I just asked for a tape to listen to. After asking for the tape, I opened it. Unexpectedly, the next morning, I was single-minded. After being single-mindedly, seeing the suffering reincarnation of sentient beings, I cried and cried day and night. At that time, in my mind, I was just thinking of ways to save sentient beings, so I forgot about the "Sūtra of Life" that Brother Dao Quang introduced to me earlier. It was not until a few months later, when I decided to find the Buddhist Scriptures to reflect my mind before writing a book, that I remembered Dao Quang. After remembering, I immediately came to collect all the 29 "Amitabha Sutras" from them. After asking about it, I opened it. At that time, when I heard the Pure Land Master preaching, I understood to that point. I understand to the extent that He preached one that I understood to ten. After listening to his set of "Sūtra Infinite Life", I was very reassured, because what my mind saw was true to the truth of the Buddhist Sutta. Although at that time I had only heard about a series of "Sūtra Infinite Life" by Lord Tinh Khong, I understood in my mind what Buddha Shakyamuni taught for 49 years. After comparing my mind with the Buddhist Sutra, I was assured to write a book. I understood to the extent that He preached to one that I understood to ten. After listening to his set of "Sūtra Infinite Life", I was very reassured, because what my mind saw was true to the truth of the Buddhist Sutta. Although at that time I had only heard of a series of "Sūtra Infinite Life" by Lord Tinh Khong, I understood in my mind what Buddha Shakyamuni taught for 49 years. After comparing my mind with the Buddhist Sutra, I was assured to write a book.
Through my story and through the two books " Experience of reciting Buddha's name and the stories of reincarnation " and " The meaning of Dharma teaching and Dharma protection " that I gave birth many years ago, more or less you will feel receive what I wrote in the two books that flow from the heart of my outpouring, not writing from the place of memorizing words in the Scriptures. So is this book of " Pure Land of Proof, " and I also write words from the bottom of my heart. If not, then a female Buddhist novice to grade six like me, how have enough intelligence and ability to write the essence of Buddhist scriptures.
Through the three stories of Buddha Shakyamuni, that of Hui Hui and mine, you have come to understand our mind which has all of it. Therefore, if we want to become a Buddha, we must know how to turn to our own mind and not seek outside. We are infatuated with this pity. Whenever I hear someone says there is a big temple, big Buddha, ... we rush to run to beg ... Even, there are many people who spend a lot of money and time going to the Buddhist countries in the world. world to find big temple, big Buddha, ... All our life we just know how to run out to find the fake Three Jewels, and the Three Jewels are really available in the mind, then we don't look at all. Even the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas appear to and fro remind us constantly, yet we still do not believe, do not return to be Buddha. So try to ask if we are infatuated, crazy?
