When he finished eating, rinsed his mouth, washed practical items, arranged clothes and bowls, the Buddha told Mr. An-Nan: "You can help me with the crutch." Now I want to go to the Tower of Gia-Ba-La, enter-the-mind-thinking ”. The Buddha said that then, He immediately went with him to Ananda.

Arriving there, Mr. A-Nan took a seat at the Buddha, the Buddha sat. At that time, Germany World Religion-sat down married-wife [2], silent thought. At that time, Mr. An-Nan was also in a separate place, present-in-concentration, but not very far from Buddha.

In a moment, the Blessed One awakened from meditation, and he called Ananda, saying, “Here in Bhikkhu-Da-Ly, there are many beloved towers, such as Uu-Da-Dien tower, Cò-Đàm, Am-La tower, Da-Tu tower, Sa-La tower, Gia-Ba-La tower.

Mr. An-Nan! People who are allowed to be able to stay in the realm for the whole life or for one life, let alone the Tathagata now have great magical power, can they not stay in the realm for a lifetime? A lifetime or a lifetime? ”

The Blessed One opened the door, "It is possible to ask the Blessed One to remain in the world" like that, to teach Mr. An-Nan, but, at that time, Mr. An-Nan remained silent, not knowing. at all.

Germany World-Ton grace-need to mention three times, Mr. An-Nan still wang-khu khu un-enlightenment and does not invite the Tathagata to stay in the realm of life or a young life, bringing benefits to gods and people in the world. What happened? Mr. An-Nan was enthralled by the Demon King.

The Buddha said three times, seeing that An-Nan's mind was still not enlightened, he immediately fell silent.

Then, Ma-King [4] to the Buddha, the white Buddha said, "O Lord-Ton! Now Germany-Ton should enter Nirvana! Now the Good-God [5] should enter Nirvana! What happened? Before the Blessed One was on the bank of the Ni-Lien-Med River (Nairanjana) I recommended and invited him to enter Nirvana, but, at that time, the Blessed One saw the Blessed One like that, saying, "Now four my set-Bhikkhu-Bhikkhu (Bhiksu), Bhikkhu-Khưu-Ni (Bhiksuni), Uu-rules-(Upàsaka), Uu-di-di (Upàsikà) are not complete and have not been able to submit to the non-religion, so I have not entered Nirvana. " Lord-Ton! Now the four-sets of Germany World Religion-full, has surrendered to the pagan and the things worth doing, were done, so the Blessed One should enter Nirvana! "

When Ma-Wang sometimes invited like that, Germany As-Lai immediately replied: "You instead! Previously on the bank of Ni-Lien-Zen, I had promised him that my four sets of things were not complete; up to now, now full, after three months I will enter Nirvana! "

The Buddha, right there, said the verse:

All sentient beings,

According to "organic" (there) that birth-death.

I am also born and born,

But do not follow the "organic".

Every act of artifact creation

I now want to throw away. [6]

The Blessed One said that verse, He sat silently again.

II. A-NAN Revelation-PROVINCE

At that time, Mr. An-Nan saw the earth tremble, and the fear-in-mind so he thought to himself: “Why is there this General-General today? And, such a thing, not a small predestined relationship, should we go and ask the Blessed One! ”

Thinking then, Mr. A-Nan immediately stood up from his seat, came to the Buddha, bowed his head to the Buddha's feet, and said, "O Lord-Blessed One! Just now, I was alone in that place, meditating to think, suddenly where did I find this land of eighteen trembling generals; I heard the drums of heaven in nowhere again, my mind is so scared, I don't know what kind of cause and condition he is, may The Lord-Religion teach me! ”

The Buddha taught, "Mr. An-Nan! This earth vibrates for eight causes and conditions: One is the land of water that stands still, this country thanks to the wind, but also, this wind, thanks to nothingness. In nowhere, there is no time when strong wind rises, blowing into the wind, the wind is moving; the other wind was moving, the other country was also moving; The other country has moved, this land has moved. Second, the Bhikkhu-khưu or Bhikkhu-khưu-ni, Uu-she-rules, Uu-she-di, cultivating about divine powers, newly achieved achievements, you want to experiment on your own, so the land this dynamic. Thirdly, when the Bodhisattva (Bodhissattva) is in the Tusita-heaven sky (Tusita), about to descend into a mother-child, this earth realm is dynamic. Fourth, when the Bodhisattva was born from the right side, so this land is dynamic. Fifth, when the Bodhisattva gave up the royal family, learned the path, the first-set-of-position [8], the earth moved. Sixth, when Tathagata became enlightened, started for Human, Thien turned legal-rotation [9], So this land is dynamic. Seventh, when Tathagata exhausted the life of the world, using the power of spirit-residing in the body-destiny, this land dynamic. Eighth, when the Tathagata entered Nirvana, this earth realm is active. Mr. An-Nan! You should know that the cause and condition of this earth and earth are dynamic, there are eight things like that! ”

Mr. An-Nan! There are eight sets of them: One is, dysentery [10]. Secondly, Brahmin. [11] Third, Chief-author [12], Layman [13]. Fourthly, Sa-keeper [14]. Fifth, Four-heaven-king. Sixth, Ex-heaven-heaven. Seven, Ma-king. Eighth, Pham-king. Eight of them I see their temperament, whoever wants to be saved, I depend on the appearance because they speak the law, but the other person did not know that I said.

Mr. An-Nan! There are eight places of victory (origin): Firstly, there are fewer ideas in the mind about appearance, in addition to less general form. Secondly, in mind there are ideas about form-general, much more out of form. Thirdly, in the heart of utopian-form, outside less on the less-general. Fourthly, the mind does not think about form-general, much more outside of form. Fifth, the shop is all green. Sixth, the shop is all yellow. Seventh, the shop is all red. Eighth, the shop is all white. That is the upper-hand method of spiritual practitioners on meditation! [15]

Again, Mr. An-Nan! There are eight solutions to liberation: One is, in the mind there is thought of materiality, in addition to contemplating materiality. Second, in the mind of not thinking about materiality, in addition to contemplating materiality by thinking-impure. Third, net-liberation, Four is, non-origin-freed. Fifth, Thuc-origin liberation. Sixth, Infinite-possessive-liberation. Seven, Non-idea, non-imagine-origin-liberation. Eighth, Kill-take-a-rescue. The eight measures of liberation are also the upper-won method of austerities for Meditation. If anyone reaches the ultimate destination of these dhammas, that is, for all dhammas that are free from fear. Mr. An-Nan! Do you know: Before I became enlightened, Mr. Uu-long-frequency-speaker Ca-lettuce (Uruvilvàkàsyapa) on the side of the Ni-Lien-meditation river, then Ma-king came to me and asked me, "Lord-Ton! Now Germany-Ton should enter Nirvana! Good God-Oath! Now the Good-God should enter Nirvana! - What happened? - Those who should be saved are all released! Now is the time that the Blessed One should enter Nirvana! " Ma-king invited me three times like that, I replied: "Now is not the time I enter Nirvana! - What happened? - Four of our sets are not enough, those who should save, have not reached the end, the out-of-pagans, not yet subordinate! " I answered like that three times, Ma-king heard, brought sadness, back to Heaven. Due to the past predestination, Ma-king again and sometimes invited me: "Lord-Ton! Now Germany-Ton should enter Nirvana! Good God-Oath! Now the Good-God should enter Nirvana! - What happened? - Previously when on the banks of the Ni-linked-meditation, I recommended-invited the Blessed One entered Nirvana, but at that time the Blessed One saw the recommended one, saying: “Now four sets- my name is Bhikkhu-khưu, Bhikkhu-khưu-ni, Uu-she-rules, Uu-she-di is not complete, yet not submit to the heathen, so I have not entered Nirvana. Lord-Ton! Now the four sets of Blessed One are full, have surrendered to the pagan and the things worth doing have been done, so now The Blessed One should enter Nirvana! " Maou asked me to come three times like that. , after three months I will enter Nirvana. Ma-king heard I said that, joyfully rejoice, return to Heaven. Here I have accepted Ma-sama's request,

Then Mr. A-Nan heard the Buddha saying that, and his mind was very sad, all over his body was bloody, crying-and-crying, White Buddha said, "Dear Lord-Ton! May the Blessed One have mercy on us, staying in the realm for about a lifetime or a lifetime, bringing benefits to the gods and people of the world! "

Mr. An-Nan invited the Buddha to come three times like that. At that time, the Blessed One told Mr. An-Nan: "Now is not the time when you sometimes request a Tathagata to remain in the world again! - What happened? - I promised Maou, after three months I entered Nirvana, how can you request that I stay in the world now? Mr. An-Nan! Mr. attendant I've never heard of anything I've ever said before. - Mr. Ananda White Buddha, saying, "Lord Buddha!" I have never heard the God-Sphinx speak two words! Previously, I had only ever heard the Blessed One, because four sets of them spoke of the dharma saying: "A person who has four miracles, can stay in a lifetime or a lifetime, let alone As-Lai" who has immeasurable amount of divine power, now cannot stay in one life or one life, immediately discharge worldly life, temporarily abide by three months,

The Blessed One responded to Ananda: "Now I have a reason for discharging my life, it is you! What happened? Earlier, at this place, I turned to him and said, "A person who has four magic powers-sufficiency can stay in the realm of a lifetime or a young life, let alone As-Lai now has great magical power- tuberculosis, is it not possible to stay in the realm of a lifetime or a lifetime? I graciously said that up to three times, to open the door for him to appeal to the Blessed One to remain in the world, but he kept silent, had no appeal. I stayed in the realm of a good life. A young life, therefore, now I only temporarily residing body three months, why now he invited me to stay in the world?

Mr. A-Nan heard the Buddha saying that, he must know that the Buddha decided to enter Nirvana, it was impossible to recommend, the mind of suffering, sadness, sadness, brain-shirt, crying-and-crying, could not be stopped.

The Blessed One saw that Mr. An-Nan was born in anguish so much, He used the consolation of consolation: "Mr. An-Nan! Now he should not be worried that sad mind! You should know: All vi-vi are like that; all the assemblies must be separated! ”

Instant, Germany-Ton said that verse:

All the compounded,

Are back to impermanence.

Loving harmony,

All about secluded place.

On-General things like that,

Do not worry sad birth!

At that time, Ananda Nan said, "The great-great-great Sage-man, who will soon enter Nirvana, how can I not be sad now!" Bach then shook his head, shouted loudly: "Alas, it is hard! The eyes of the world are gone, they will soon be born, lose a good father! ”

The Blessed One told Mr. An-Nan: "Now you should not be worried about sadness and sadness, whether I stay in the realm of a lifetime or a young life, but the assembly will have to be annihilated; property and property of such property-vi, he should not for I enter Nirvana but suffering alone! Now I want to go back to the identical hall-lecture hall, he took hold of the tool-back! " Immediately, Germany, World-Ton and A-Nan returned to Trung-The lecture hall.

III. THE MEETING-THEM GROUP

The Blessed One told Mr. A-Nan: "Now you go and tell all the Bhikkhu-Khưu where the Spleen-The lecture hall, in this large forest, are going back to the Great Path."

Mr. A-Nan obeyed the Buddha's teaching, immediately went to tell all the Bhikkhu-Khưu, "The Buddha said to all of the Great Paths!"

The Bhikkhu-Khưu gathered a lot, Mr. An-Nan white Buddha: "Dear Lord-Ton! The Bhikkhu-Khưu are about to meet in full, respectfully ask Tathagata to know for the time of the meeting ”!

At that time, Tathagata from Trung-Lectures-lecture hall to Đại-Tập-Đường, He spread the throne and sat down and told the Bhikkhu-Khưu: “Formerly, I told you all the dharma, you always thought -Think and practice those methods, don't forget them! The monks-virtue for purity, preserving the precepts, doing well-being for the gods, people-people of the world. Bhikkhu-Khưu! Formerly, because of what you said, you should think about them, not be lazy. I said thirty-seven dharma methods such as: four foundations of origin, four principalities, four like-thoughts, five faculties, five faculties, seven senses, and eight holy-organs [17]. practice, think-essential-need that France can make you to the place-liberation!

Again, Bhikkhu-Khưu! All things are impermanent, body-danger-danger, as well as lightning-jerks, you should not be born let-go! You should know: Tathagata shortly, after only three months will enter Nirvana! "

Now, the Buddha immediately said:

I want to leave this body,

Aged weak-body plate.

Now discharge life span,

Three-month temporary shelter!

Those who should be chemical,

It was all over;

So before long,

I will enter Nirvana.

The Dharma I said in the past,

France that the teachers;

Respectful, respectful,

Practice-do not forget!

You need to be diligent,

As I live differently?

Life and death are in danger,

Body-destiny are impermanent!

Often hoping for a way to liberation,

Do not create almond-lung almond!

Righteous thoughts, pure bar,

Keep all the precepts.

Intentional thought, straight thought,

Foreign-scene, keep quiet.

If anyone can do that,

Is the maintenance of the French government.

Go to the place of liberation,

Benefit both Nhan, Thien.

Bach finished, the Bhikkhu-Khưu left hand science, scratching, punching the chest, shouting: "Alas, very miserable! Tathagata will soon enter Nirvana, where all beings take refuge! "

The World-Ton told the Bhikkhu-Khưu: "All things are of impermanence, love-union, must be separated, you should not invite me to stay in the world again!" What happened? - Now is not the time for you to recommend me! In the past I said that because of the weak things you should obey, as long as I was in another life! ”

The day was dark, Buddha-Ton and A-Nan returned to Trung-The lecture hall.

IV. GERMANY MEET LY-XA

Tomorrow morning Germany World-Ton dressed, bringing a bowl, with Mr. An-Nan into the alms-alms. When begging, he returned to the same hall. After eating, he rinsed his mouth, washed the food, and then he and the Bhikkhu-Khưu came to Can-hamlet.

The road to this village must pass through Pi-Da-Ly citadel. When he passed through this city, he looked back, looked up at the city, and smiled. Mr. A-Nan saw that, immediately bowed his head to the Buddha's feet, asking the Buddha, "Lord Buddha!" The Supreme-Great One-Ton laughs must have a predestined relationship, so please Lord-Religion-religion just let me know! "

The Buddha replied, "Mr. An-Nan! The reason I turned to laugh, because this is the last time, I see this city! ”

Just as Tathagata uttered that word, in nowhere, without clouds, naturally raining. A-Nan saw that, white Buddha said, "Lord-Ton!" Very strange, nowhere is clean, without any low air covering it, and suddenly it rained down on a lot of rain like that? ”

The Buddha told Mr. An-Nan: "Mr. An-Nan! Do you know what it is, is that the gods are on nowhere, hear. I say this is the last time I see this city of Pi-Da-Ly, the minds of the gods so-brain-loving, crying-feeling snakehead. Those are the tears of the gods, not the rain! ”

Mr. A-Nan and the Bhikkhu-Khưu, heard the Buddha said that then, the heart sad-sad, sad-hearted fainting to the ground, White Buddha said: "Dear Lord-Ton! Today, Thien, Nhan-suffering too much, How-Ton how to want to commission-discharge both, but enter Nirvana! ”

Germany As-Lai immediately used a range of consolation to comfort you: "You! You should not be worried, sad-sorrow!

The Bhikkhu-Khưu white Buddha that: "Dear Germany-Ton! Now the last time the Blessed One looks into this Bhikkhu-Da-Ly, before long, the Blessed One will enter Nirvana, how can we not worry about sadness and suffering! "

Gradually-like that, people told each other, the spread to the people of Ly-Xa (Licchavi) [18]. This Lychana lineage, having heard the words, brought sadness, filled with blood, covered her hands, pulled her head, punched her chest, shouted, "Alas, it is hard!" The eyes of the world are about to die; they are no longer present at this refuge! ”

Then, they told each other: "Now we should go to the Buddha, encourage him to stay at the Bhikkhu-Da-Ly and stay in a life or a young life, bringing benefits to the gods, people of the world. " After saying that, they immediately adjusted their vehicles strictly to the Buddha.

Outside the city gate, they saw the Tathagata in the distance, and saw Mr. An-Nan, with the Bhikkhu-Khưu, wailing and crying, sad-sad, brain-shirt, Ly- The further away the more touching, merciful. They immediately went to where Buddha was staying, bowing their heads to the Buddha's feet and saying, "Lord Buddha! Now Germany-Ton, about to enter Nirvana, all sentient beings will lose the eyes of wisdom; They are living in a dark place, how to see what to do. May the Blessed One stay in the realm of a life or a new life, enter Nirvana! "

They invited Germany-Ton to three times like that, the Buddha replied: "All the compounded-vi [19] belong to impermanence; whether I stay in one life or one life, then I return to impermanence! ”

Then Germany As-Lai immediately said:

Mount Tu-Di is tall,

After it must be worn-out.

The sea is wide and deep,

Then it must be dried out.

Japan, the moon is clear,

Western dives.

The land is solidly solid, however.

Carry-carry all things;

Lifetime of burning karma,

Also back to impermanence.

Association-loving,

All about secluded place.

As-Lai past life,

Non-destructive diamond body;

Also very often moved,

Is Ta different now?

Buddhas like that,

You should not invite;

Not just for me,

Which was born worried, sad!

The other Ly-away lineage said, "You turn instead, Lord-Ton!" May the Blessed One tell us, we wish to hear. "

Then Germany As-Lai spread-coordinates, sit-married, the Bhikkhu-Khưu, along with the Ly-Xa people there, self-suppressed, sat on one side. The Blessed One told the other Lykans: "You should know that there are seven methods, and they continue to advance: One is, being happy, not in conflict." The other is, enlightenment-enlightenment and good career. Third, keep the precepts and keep the rituals. Fourth, respect the parents and other religious leaders. Fifth, the body-like-item, admit-mutual agreement. Sixth, the temple temple in the country, repair-to-worship. Seven, obey the Buddha-dharma, the glass-body Bhikkhu-Khưu and Bhikkhu-Khưu-ni; cherish to help the pros and cons of If anyone agrees to do the seven things like that, his mighty virtue, ever more advanced, the country flourishes, the people are happy. From now on until the end of life, you should obey those seven laws, you should not be lazy! "

The other Ly-away lineage said to the Buddha, "Lord Buddha!" Of the seven, if we can cultivate only one dharma, we will also increase our mighty virtue, let alone practice all seven dharma! You change instead, Lord-Ton! Now we have this benefit, we keep it our whole life, don't dare to forget! ”

The Buddha told the Bhikkhu-Khưu: "From now on, you should also practice the following seven dharmas: First, happy-harmonious, like water and milk. Second, often gather together to discuss legal texts. Thirdly, uphold the precepts, do not generate thought-violating. Fourthly, respect-teachers and Venerable-masters. Fifth, arrange arrangements and respect for the Bhikkhu-Khưu still-tu where A-lan-elegant. Sixthly, encourage the Vietnamese culture, repair and change to Tam-Bao and resting places in the headquarter. Seven is diligence-taking care of the Buddha-Dharma. You should know, if any Bhikkhu-Khưu, seven measures are done, merit, wisdom, wisdom, day by day!

"Bhikkhus-Khưu! There are seven dharmas, you should cultivate: First, you should not be like the in-home business-business-career. Second, no talking, joking. Third, do not want to sleep-rest, leave the essential-need. Fourth, do not discuss worldly futility. Fifth, avoid evil friends, close friends. Sixth, often think righteous thoughts, not born of wrong thought. Seventh, if in Buddha-dharma, there is a seat to witness, then go ahead. If you do the seven measures, the merit of wisdom will grow day by day. ”

"Bhikkhus-Khưu! There are seven more dharmas you should do: One, for Buddha, Dharma and Sangha, to give birth to solid faith. Second, be ashamed. Thirdly, know the tiger. Fourthly, the mind is often eager to listen much. Fifth, the mind is not shocking. Sixth, desire to hear the meaning. Seventh, desire intellectual wisdom. If the monks get those seven dharma, the merit of wisdom will grow day by day. ”

"Bhikkhus-Khưu! There are seven legal "sense-mind" [20], you should do: One is, Trach-France (France). The second is, refined-advance. Third, Hy (happy). Fourth, contempt-an (light-happy-gently). Fifth, recite (remember). Sixth, concentration (meditation-concentration). Seven, flush (shake off). If you do the seven measures, merit, wisdom, day-growth ”.

"Bhikkhus-Khưu! There are seven measures: One is, the impermanence. Second, the non-self shop. Thirdly, the impure bar. Four, contemptuously. Fifth, not worldly desires. Sixth, do not love five-sex [21]. Seventh, diligent practice of passing away (Nirvana). If you do the seven measures, merit, wisdom, day-growth ”.

"Bhikkhus-Khưu! There are seven measures, you should do: Firstly, the body usually makes up (from). Second, the mouth often makes up. Thirdly, the mind often makes up. Fourth, if there is a Vietnamese harp, giving everything, distributing equally, should not be biased. Fifth, the deep and profound color of the Dharma is not boring. Sixth, do not bring books on earth to teach people. Seventh, seeing people who are not in school, not born with jealousy-mind. If the monks are seven measures, merit, wisdom, growth day by day ”.

"Bhikkhus-Khưu! There are seven measures, you should do: Firstly, distinguish well-rounded nine sets of law [22]. Second, explain that meaning. Third, action-director, recitation, must be timely. Fourth, go, stand, sit, lie right in the rules. Fifth, the sermon-sermon for the people to have their own strength. Sixth, if Ba-la-Mon, Sha-li, Head-fake, Cu-ren, want to listen to France, should measure cleverly, according to base. Seventh, clearly divided wisdom. If you do those seven dhammas, merit, wisdom, day-by-day growth, you can preserve my own righteousness! ”

Now, the wife of the Lycaites heard that the Buddha would soon enter Nirvana and this was the last time he looked at the Bhikkhu-da-ly, their minds were very brains, and they were crying so much. , along with five hundred kin-belonging, shopping and repairing five hundred chariots, carrying offerings. All vehicles were solemnly bare: the carriage was pulled by a white buffalo, while the white-crystal parts were hung; until the vehicles purple, black, yellow ..., all in color of buffalo that are bare. The stately vehicles, they turn out of the city and go to Buddha.

The Bhikkhu-Khưu replied: "Yes, we have seen."

The Buddha told the Bhikkhu-Khưu: "These are the Ly-Xa people, elders and their wives of this Bhikkhu-Da-Ly city, their import and export content, very glossy, like the gods in heaven and heaven are not different! ”
