Hey, dear Soṇa, the king wants to see your feet. Dear Dharma, do not stretch your feet in the direction of the king, sit cross-legged in front of the king, the king will see your feet in a sitting position.

Then they took Soṇa Koḷivisa with a palanquin. After that, Soṇa Koḷivisa went to see Seniya Bimbisāra king of Magadha, after coming respectfully to King Seniya Bimbisāra of Magadha, and sat cross-legged in front of the king. At that time, King Seniya Bimbisāra of Magadha saw the hair growing on the soles of Soṇa Koḷivisa's feet. Later, King Seniya Bimbisāra of Magadha explained the benefits of the present to eighty thousand of the village chief and encouraged:

Hey khanh, here you have been explained about the benefits of the present time. Now go and sit around the Blessed One, who will explain to us about the benefits of the future.

Later, those eighty thousand village chiefs went to Gijjhakūṭa mountain.

At the time, Venerable Sāgata was the attendant of the Buddha. At that time, the eighty thousand village chief went to see Vāgata, after coming to Vāgata, said this:

- Sir, eighty thousand of this village chief came here to meet with the Blessed One. Sir, it would be nice if we could see him.

- Ladies and gentlemen, if so, please stay right here for a while and wait for me to inform the Blessed One.

After that, the great virtue Sāgata disappeared at the place where before the eighty thousand village chiefs were attentive and then appeared in front of the Blessed One and told the Blessed One:

- White Sir, eighty thousand of this village chief came here to meet with the Blessed One. Bach himself, now ask the Blessed One to think about the timing of that.

-Sāgata, if so then you should arrange seats in the shade of the hostel.

- Sir, please.

Venerable Sāgata, who listened to the Blessed One, took the chair and disappeared in front of the Blessed One and appeared at the stage before the eighty thousand village chiefs were attentively staring at, and then arranged to seat in the shade. of the hostel. After that, the Blessed One left from the residence and sat down on the seat that had been arranged in the shade of the residence. At that time, the eighty thousand village chiefs went to see the Blessed One, after having paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down at one side. After that, the eighty thousand of the village chief just turned his mind to the great virtue Sāgata, and the Blessed One was not like that. At that time, the Blessed One used the mind to know the thought of the eighty thousand village chiefs and told Sāgata:

-Sāgata, if so then you show the magic of miracles is the upper legal person with more forms.

- Sir, please.

Then Venerable Sāgata listened to the Blessed One who flew up into the air, went back and forth in the sky, then stopped, sat down, lay down, spewed smoke, glowed, then disappeared. Later, having displayed the miracle of supernatural power as a superior man in various forms in the sky, Venerable Sāgata put his head on the feet of the Blessed One and told the Blessed One this. :

- Bach Sir, the Blessed One is my teacher, I am a disciple. Bach himself, the Blessed One is my teacher, I am a disciple.

At that time, the eighty thousand village chiefs (thinking): “ How wonderful! It is incredible! Because the disciple also has great power like this, mighty force like this, the guru would be even more than that ! ” Then he turned his mind to the Blessed One himself, and the great virtue of Sakata was not like that.

Meanwhile, Germany World Religion after using the mind to know the thinking of eighty thousand village chiefs and then gave the sermon according to the class. That is, he has explained the discourse on almsgiving, the discourse on the precepts, the discourse on the heavens, the harmful pollution of the infertility, the benefits of renunciation. When the Blessed One knew that their minds were ready, malleable, free of obstructions, upright, and still, he displayed the Dharma preaching that was opened by the Buddhas: Suffering, Tap, Kill , Dao. It is like a clean, unbleached, clean cloth that can be dyed completely; similarly, right at that seat, the Dharma-eye that is not contaminated with dust and dirt, no stain has arisen, up to eighty thousand of the village chiefs: " What has the nature to be born, all of it has its nature destruction . "

Later, when he saw the Dharma, achieved the Dharma, understood the Dharma, imbued the Dharma, doubts were gone, the hesitation ended, the faith in the Dharma of the gurus was fulfilled. , no longer need the grace of others, they told the Blessed One this:

- Sir, that's wonderful! Bach himself, it is wonderful! Bach himself, like a man who could turn over the covered object, opened the hidden object, showed the way to the lost, bringing the kerosene lamp in the darkness (thinking): " Those who have eyes will see shapes ; ” Similarly, France has been shown by the Buddha in many ways. Bach, we here would like to take refuge in the Blessed One, Dharma, and assemblies. May the Blessed One accept that we are lay men who have been taking refuge from today to the rest of their lives.

[2] At that time, Soṇa Koḷivisa suggested this: " As far as I understand the Dharma preached by the Buddha, it is not an easy thing for people living in the family to practice virtue. fully, completely clean like a clean shell, or should we shave off our hair, put on robes, leave the monk's house and live ? " Then, when he was happy to be satisfied with the teachings of the Blessed One, the eighty thousand village chiefs got up from their seats, bowed to the Blessed One, directed the right shoulder around, and left. . Later, when eighty thousand of the village chief passed away not long ago, Soṇa Koḷivisa went to see the Blessed One, and after paying homage to the Blessed One, sat down on one side. When sat down on one side, Soṇa Koḷivisa said to the Blessed One:

- Bach himself, as far as I understand the Dharma preached by the Buddha, it is not an easy thing for people living in the family to practice virtue in a complete and completely pure way. like the shells are scraped clean. Bach himself, I want to shave off my hair, wear robes, leave the monk's life without a home. Bach himself, please Lord Religion let me ordained.

Then Soṇa Koḷivisa was ordained with the Blessed One and was cultivated to the upper stage.

And when he was ascended to the upper ranks soon, Venerable Soṇa lived in the forest of Sīta. While he was walking business with effort, effort, the feet were torn. The menstrual path becomes covered in blood like a place of killing cattle. Then, Venerable Soṇa, while meditating in the solitude, thoughtful thoughts like this arose: " I am one of the Buddha's disciples who lives with great effort and effort, but the mind Our attachment is still and we must not be liberated from the illegal ones. Moreover, there are properties in our family, which can use them and do merit works; Or should we return to the low life and then use those possessions and do good deeds? ” Then, after using the mind to know the thinking thoughts of Venerable Soṇa, then like a man who has the power to stretch his arms that have shrunk or can shrink his arms that have been stretched out, similarly So World Religion has disappeared at Gijjhakūṭa mountain and appeared in the forest Sīta. Then, while with many Bhikkhu khưu walking around the shelter, the Blessed One went to the business path of Venerable Soṇa. The Blessed One saw the path of Venerable Soṇa covered in blood, after seeing telling the bhikkhus:

-The Bhikkhu khưu, whose business lines are covered with blood like a place to kill cattle?

- Bach himself, Venerable Soṇa, while walking on the trip with great effort, his feet were torn. This bloodstained path is his position, like a place of killing cattle.

After that, the Blessed One went to the residence of Venerable So ,a, after arriving, he sat down on the assigned seat. Venerable Soṇa paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down on one side. The Blessed One said to Venerable Soṇa sitting on one side of this:

Hey Soṇa, did you while meditating in a solitary place with this thoughtful thought arise: " I am one of the disciples of the Blessed One who lives with diligence and effort, but our mind is still clinging and not to be liberated from the illegal ones. Moreover, there are properties in our family, which can use them and do merit works; Or should we return to the lowly life and then use those assets and do merit ? "

- White World Religion, that's right.

- Hey Soṇa, what do you think about this: Did you know well before when you were housekeepers the tone of the string in the maidservant? [first]

- White World Religion, that's right.

- Hey Soṇa, what do you think about this: When the strings of your maidservant are tense, then at that time did your maidservant sound or appropriate to use?

- Sir, that is not true.

- Hey Soṇa, what do you think about this: When the strings of your lady 's instrument are too loose, does that mean at that time your lady' s instrument is sound or suitable for use?

- Sir, that is not true.

- Soṇa, what do you think about this: When the strings of your spouse are neither stressful nor too loose, put in the right position, affordable at that time Is that sound or appropriate to use?

- Sir, that's right.

-This Soṇa, likewise the effort effort led to turmoil, the effort too drowsy to lead to idleness. Soṇa, so here you must determine the regularity of diligence, understand the balance of rights (indriya), and at that time you must hold the seal.

- Sir, please. Venerable Soṇa answered the Blessed One.

Then, having taught the great virtue of Soṇa with that teaching, then it is like a man with the power to be able to stretch out an already shrunk arm or be able to shrink an extended arm. like that in the forest Sīta the Blessed One disappeared in the presence of Venerable Soṇa and then appeared on Mount Gijjhakūṭa.

Later, Venerable Soṇa determined the regularity of diligence, understood the balance of rights (indriya), and at that time held the seal. At that time, Venerable Soṇa was isolated alone, and lived without laziness, effort, and determination so soon in this present life, she herself realized, attained, and settled into victory. the ultimate purpose of virtue, because of this purpose that the sons of noble families leave the monastic life and live homelessly. He knows that: " The rebirth is exhausted, the virtue is alive, the work has to be done, there is no more (leading to) any other ego (similarity) like this anymore ." And among the A-la-Han a further one is greater Germany Soṇa.

-White Sir, the Bhikkhu khưu is A-la-Han, have smuggled or have ceased, reached perfection, what to do, the burden has been put down, the purpose of oneself has been achieved , the attachment to rebirth has been destroyed, liberated through true wisdom, he has accomplished six things: he has achieved renunciation, he has achieved silence , he has achieved the cessation of harm, he has achieved the cessation of attachment, he has achieved the cessation of craving, he has achieved the cessation of ignorance.

Bach himself, here may be a certain virtue will start like this: " Could this great virtue have achieved renunciation solely by faith ?" Sir, that cannot be considered like that. Bach himself, the Bhikkhu khưu had smuggled or was exterminated, reached perfection, the work to be done, no longer contemplate the need to do by yourself or (contemplate) to the accumulation of (the ) did, thanks to the cessation of craving and the self no longer craving, that he attained renunciation, thanks to the cessation of hatred and himself no longer hatred that he has achieved renunciation, thanks to the destruction of delusion and himself is no longer delusion, that he has achieved renunciation.

Bach himself, here may be a certain virtue will start like this: " Could this great virtue have achieved stillness while craving for gain, glory, and fame ?" Sir, that cannot be considered like that. Bach himself, the Bhikkhu khưu had smuggled or was exterminated, reached perfection, the work to be done, no longer contemplate the need to do by yourself or (contemplate) to the accumulation of (the ) did, thanks to the cessation of craving and the self no longer craving, that he achieved tranquility, thanks to the cessation of hatred and self no longer hatred that he has achieved tranquility, thanks to the destruction of delusion and self-delusion, he has achieved tranquility.

Bach himself, here may be a certain virtue will start like this: " Could this great virtue have achieved no harm while returning to the precepts and customs from the nature ?" Sir, that cannot be considered like that. Bach himself, the Bhikkhu khưu had smuggled or was exterminated, reached perfection, the work to be done, no longer contemplate the need to do by yourself or (contemplate) to the accumulation of (the ) did, thanks to the cessation of craving and no longer craving for himself, that he has achieved no harm, thanks to the cessation of hatred and self no longer anger that he has achievements no longer harm, thanks to the destruction of delusion and himself no longer delusion, he has achieved the no harm.

mind to a stillness

The person attains craving
and the mind is not deluded in

complete liberation.
Bhikkhu khưu thanh tịnh

Like an instant rock an
unshakable mass of wind is
also the same color, silence, taste,
and all the incense, contact,
the legal likes, dislike
not stirring the
sustainable mind, liberating that
taste consistent death.

[5] Later, the Blessed One told the bhikkhus:

-The Bhikkhu khưu, the son of the famous family announced the enlightenment like that. The results have been told but not (the body) has yet to overcome. Moreover, here we think that there are some foolish people who proclaim enlightenment as a joke, who will later fall into unhappiness.

Then the Buddha said to Venerable Soṇa that:

- Hey Soṇa, you are (slender). Hey Soṇa, for you to allow (use) sandals (upāhanā) a class.

- Sir, I gave up the gold, which was filled with eighty carts with the herd of seven elephants and left the monk's house to leave home. There will be people who say about you: “ Soṇa Koḷivisa gave up gold and was filled with eighty carts with seven herds of elephants and left home to leave home as a monk. Now, he is clinging to single-class sandals . ” If the Blessed One allows the assembly to be Bhikkhu khưu, you will use; If the Buddha does not allow the assemblies Bhikkhu khưu, I will not use.

At the time, the Bhikkhu khưu group Lu Professor wore blue-laced sandals (nīlavaddhikā), wore yellow laced sandals, wore red laced sandals, wore stringed sandals tied in a dark red, wearing black laced sandals, wearing strikingly colored sandals, wearing brightly colored laces. People complain, criticize, decry that:

- Like the guys at home enjoying sex?

They have reported it to the Blessed One.

Hey Bhikkhus, should not wear blue laced sandals, should not wear sandals with yellow laces, should not wear sandals with red lanyards, should not wear sandals with string tie dark red, should not wear sandals with black straps, should not wear sandals with striking tie laces, should not wear sandals with laces dyed brightly; would anyone bring the crime  dukkaṭa  (World).

At the time, the Bhikkhu khưu group Lu Professor wearing sandals covered with heels (khallavaddhā), wearing sandals covered up to the knees (puṭavaddhā), wearing sandals covering the toes (pāliguṇṭhimā), wearing thongs. cotton (tūlapuṇṇikā), grouper-like sandals (tittirapattikā), sheep horned sandals (meṇḍavisāṇavaddhikā), goat-wearing sandals (ajavisāṇavaddhikā), sandals with tails attached Scorpion (vicchikāḷikā), wearing sandals with peacock feathers (morapiñjaparisibbitā), wearing sandals of all kinds. People complain, criticize, decry that:

Hey khưu, do not wear the Bhikkhu sandals covered with heels, should not wear sandals to knee covered, should not wear sandals to cover the shin, should not wear cotton-lined sandals, should not wear grouse-like sandals, sandals with horns should not be worn, sandals with goat horns, sandals with scorpion tails should not be worn. peacock feathers, do not wear sandals of all kinds; would anyone bring the crime  dukkaṭa  (World).

At that time, the monks from the Lu Su group wore lion leather sandals, tiger tiger sandals, leopard leopard sandals, deer deer sandals, sandals made of otters' leather, sandals made of cat skin, wearing sandals made of squirrel leather, wearing sandals made of cat owl skin. People complain, criticize, decry that:

- Like the guys at home enjoying sex?

They have reported it to the Blessed One.

- Bhikkhus, should not wear sandals made of lion leather, should not wear sandals made of tiger skin, should not wear sandals made of leopard skin, should not wear sandals made of deer skin , do not wear sandals made of otters, should not wear sandals made of cat skin, should not wear sandals made of squirrel leather, should not wear sandals made of cat owl skin; would anyone bring the crime  dukkaṭa  (World).

[7] Then in the morning, the Buddha blessed him, took a bowl of medicine, and went into Rājagaha to beg alms with some Bhikkhu as sa-keeper. At that time, the Bhikkhu khưu went limping closely behind the Blessed One. A certain layman, after wearing multi-layered sandals, saw the Blessed One from a distance away, after seeing he removed the sandals and went to the Blessed One, after paying homage Germany World Religion then went to the Bhikkhu khưu then, after coming to pay homage to the Bhikkhu khưu then said this:

- Sir, why are you limping?

- Hey friends, my feet are torn.

- Sir, accept the sandals.

(The Buddha said that):

Hey Bhikkhu, take the sandals.

After that, the Buddha said that the reason for that event was the Dharma talk and told the Bhikkhu khưu that:

-The khưu, we allow (use) many types of slippers have been discarded. Bhikkhus, should not wear new multi-layer sandals; would anyone bring the crime  dukkaṭa  (World).

[8] At the time, the Blessed One went on a pilgrimage outdoors without a slipper. (Thinking): " Masters do not wear sandals business " should the Bhikkhu elders go on business without sandals. While the masters went on business without sandals and while the old monks did not wear sandals, the Bhikkhu khưu group Lu Professor went on business with sandals. The Bhikkhu khưu low libido, ... (as above) ..., they complain, criticize, decry that:

-Why while masters do not wear sandals while walking and walking while the elder monks go on business without sandals, the Bhikkhu khưu group Lu Professor went on business with sandals?

-The Bhikkhu khưu, why while masters go on business without wearing sandals and while the Bhikkhu khưu elders go on business without wearing sandals, the foolish guys went on business with sandals? The Bhikkhu khưu, even the white-clothed family practice practice to feed their lives still have respect, obedience, and attention to the teachers. Bhikkhus, here rejoice in the fact that you have been ordained in the Dharma and the Law is cleverly preached like this, you should live with respect, obedience, and attention to you. the teacher, to the equivalent of the teacher, to the priests, to the priests' equivalents. The Bhikkhu khưu, this incident does not bring confidence to those who do not have faith, ... After rebuking, he preached the Dharma talk and told the bhikkhus:

-The Bhikkhu khưu, while the teacher taught, the equivalent of the teacher, the level of the teacher, the equivalent of the international level is not going business walking shoes, should not go on business with pregnant sandals; would anyone bring the crime  dukkaṭa  (World). Bhikkhus, in the monastery premises should not wear sandals; would anyone bring the crime  dukkaṭa  (World).

[9] At the time, there was a Bhikkhu khưu sick tumor on foot. The Bhikkhu khưu carry him out for the urination, defecation. The Blessed One, while walking around the shelters, saw those bhikkhus carrying the Bhikkhu khưu bringing them outside for urination and defecation, after seeing they went near them. After arriving, told the Bhikkhu khưu this thing:

-The khưu, Bhikkhu khưu this disease khưu what?

The Bhikkhu khưu have heard people complain, criticize, decry. After that, the Bhikkhu khưu had that incident up to Germany World Religion.

Hey khưu, should not hold the horns, should not hold the ears, should not grab the neck, should not grab the tail, should not ride on the backs of the cows; would anyone riding, then  dukkaṭa  (World). Do not touch the genitals due to sexual interest; whoever touches is guilty of  thullaccaya  (serious crime). Should not kill the heifers; those who kill should behave according to the Dharma. [3]

[14] At the time, the Bhikkhu khưu group Lu Professor moved by car pulled by the cow with the bull in the middle, or pulled by the bull with the cow in the middle. People complain, criticize, decry that:

- Like the festival in Gaṅgā and Mahī.

They have reported it to the Blessed One.

Hey khưu, Bhikkhu should not move by car; would anyone move it guilty  dukkaṭa  (World).

At the time, in the country of Kosala there was a Bhikkhu khưu going to Sāvatthi to meet the Buddha, in the middle of the road. At that time, the Bhikkhu khưu had left the road and sat down at a certain tree. The people saw this and told this monk:

- Sir, where are you going?

Hey friends, I will go to Sāvatthi to see the Buddha.

- Hey friends, I can't (go). I'm sick.

- Sir, come here. Get in the car.

- Hey friends, stop it. The car has been banned by the Buddha.

- Hey fool, why did you induce others to kill your life? Hasn't the killing of one's life been reprimanded in many ways and its renunciation of killing has been commended? This is crazy, this incident does not bring confidence to those who do not have faith, ... (as above) ...

After rebuking, he preached the Dharma talk and told the bhikkhus:

-The Bhikkhu khưu, should not incite others to kill their lives, any instigation should be treated according to France. [4]  And the Bhikkhu khưu, should not use cowhide; would anyone use the crime  dukkaṭa  (World). And bhikkhus, should not use any kind of skin; would anyone use the crime  dukkaṭa  (World).

When said so, Venerable Mahākaccāna told this layman Soṇa Kuṭikaṇṇa:

- Hey Soṇa, hard work is to practice Pham Hanh, sleep alone, eat a meal for the rest of your life. So Soa, then right here, while being a layman, practice the teachings of the Buddhas, the Blessed one, sleep alone, eat a meal for a set amount of time.

At that time, the desire of renunciation of layman Soṇa Kuṭikaṇṇa was relieved.

Then, the great virtue Mahākaccāna gave the renunciant Soṇa Kuṭikaṇṇa renunciant.

" Then in the evening, Venerable Soṇa came out of meditation and went to see Venerable Mahākaccāna, after having paid homage to Venerable Mahākaccāna and sat down at one side. When sat down on one side, Venerable Soṇa said to Venerable Mahākaccāna this:

- Sir, when I meditate in a solitary place with such thoughtful thoughts arisen: " I have heard that: 'That Buddha is like this and like this,' but I have not be seen in the face, so we should go to see the Blessed One is A-la-Han Chief of Right Enlightenment if the priest allows us . After listening to Venerable Mahākaccāna, Venerable Soṇa came up from his seat, bowed to Venerable Mahākaccāna, directed the right shoulder around, then arranged his place of residence, took the bowl of medicine, went out towards Sāvatthi. Sequentially he went to Sāvatthi, Jetavana, monastery of Anāthapiṇḍika, met the Blessed One, after having paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down at one side. Meanwhile, the Blessed One told the great virtue Ānanda:

Hey Ānanda, make arrangements for your Bhikkhu khưu current residence.

 Then, the great virtue of andananda (thinking): ' Regarding which position does the Blessed One command us:' Hey andananda, make arrangements  for the Bhikkhu khưu this current '? Does the Blessed One want to dwell in the same residence as the Bhikkhu? Does the Blessed One want to dwell in the same residence with Venerable Soṇa ? " and then has arranged the shelter for greater Germany Soṇa in the Blessed One is staying.

[21] Afterwards, having spent the whole night outside the Blessed One went to the residence. Venerable Soṇa, after spending the night almost outdoors, also went to the residence. Then, when he woke up at the dawn of the night, the Buddha asked Venerable Soṇa that:

Hey khưu, preach Dharma that you know well.

- Sir, please.

Then Venerable Soṇa listened to the Blessed One who reinterpreted according to the full memory of the Eighth Group (Aṭṭhakavaggikāni). Then, at the end of the theory of recollection according to the memory of Venerable So Thếa the Buddha praised that:

Hey Bhikkhu, very good, very good. Bhikkhu khưu, Group Eight products have been cleverly learning, clever thinking, cleverly remembered. You have a soft voice, clear, no hard to hear, clarify the meaning. Hey Bhikkhu, how many years have you been ordained?

- Venerable Buddha, I have been a year.

Hey Bhikkhu, why are you doing (cultivating to the upper ranks) so late?

- Sir, I have long seen the harm in education, but because life at home has many obstacles, there are many duties, there are many things to be done.

Then, having understood that incident, the Blessed One at that time uttered this inspiration:

Seeing danger in life,
after understanding the Dharma,
not being passionate, attached to,
the saints don't like evil,
don't like evil,
he is clean.

[22] At that time, Venerable Soṇa (thinking): " The Blessed One rejoices me, this is the time of the scrutiny I have carefully instructed " so I got up from my seat to get up The upper physician on one shoulder, knelt down on his head at the feet of the Blessed One and then said to the Blessed One:

-Sir, my teacher of great virtue is Mahākaccāna, please prostrate at the feet of the Blessed One and say like this: "Bach himself, Avanti and the southern region have few bhikkhus. I spent three years with hardship to summon the ten-member Bhikkhu khưu assemblies from one place and another and have attained cultivating to the upper stage. Perhaps in the land of Avanti and the southern region of the Blessed One should allow the practice of ascending to the higher ranks by group (with personnel) less. Bach himself, in Avanti and the southern region of the ground was darker, more solid, trampled by cow's toenails, perhaps in Avanti and the southern region of the Blessed One should allow (use) sandals laminated. Bach himself, in Avanti and the southern region of the people attaches great importance to bathing and is clean with water, perhaps in Avanti and the southern region of the Blessed One should allow regular bathing. Bach himself, in Avanti origin and the southern region of animal skins such as sheep skin, goat skin, deer skin were used for lining. Sir, just like in the central lands (grasses) eragu, moragu, majjāru, jantu (things used to spread the lining), white sir, similarly in Avanti and the southern region of animal skins such as Sheep skin, goat skin, deer skin are things used for spreading; Perhaps in Avanti and the southern region of the Blessed One should allow animal skins such as sheepskin, goat skin, deer skin to be used as a lining. Bach himself, now the people offering him to the bhikkhus have gone out of line (saying): 'We offer this to you (like this).' When they came back (the Bhikkhu khưu) informed that: 'Hey virtue, y has been offered to the great virtue by the names (like this),' they hesitate to accept (say that ): 'Do not let us be World Religion should explain in detail about medical issues 'We give this to the guy (like this).' When they came back (the Bhikkhu khưu) informed that: 'Hey virtue, y has been offered to the great issues.”

[23] At that time, the Buddha said that the reason for that event was the Dharma talk and told the Bhikkhu khưu that:

-The Bhikkhu khưu, Avanti and southern regions have less Bhikkhu khưu. The Bhikkhu khưu, in all the countries of the border region (sabbapaccantimesu janapadesu) we allow the practice to step up with the fifth position who is fluent in the Law (vinayadharapañcamena). In this case, the countries of the border region are: In the north there is a town called Kajaṅgala, further away from that is Mahāsālā, from then on are the countries of the border, from which back to the center. . In the south, there is a town named Setakaṇṇika, from there onwards is the land of the border region, from there back to the center. In the west, there is a brahmin village called Thūna, from then on the land of the border, from which back to the center. In the east, there is a mountain called Usīraddhaja, from there onwards is the land of the border region, from there back to the center. Hey Bhikkhus,
