(PAVĀRAṆĀKKHANDHAKAṂ) .4.

The assemblies should be notified by experienced, qualified bhikkhus:

Gentlemen, please listen to the congregation. Today is Pavāraṇā holiday. [1]  If the time is right for the assembly, the assembly should conduct Pavāra Pavā .

The bhikkhu elder should put the upper monk on one shoulder, squat, put his hands together, and should say this:

Brothers, I would like to petition the assembly. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, out of compassion, please tell me. When realized I will fix.

Monks, I would like to petition the second assembly. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, out of compassion, please tell me. When realized I will fix.

Monks, I would like to petition the third assembly. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, out of compassion, please tell me. When I realized it, I would fix it . ”

The new bhikkhu should cover his shoulder, squat, put his hands together, and should say this:

Sirs, I request the assembly. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, because of mercy, please tell me the virtues. When realized I will fix.

Sir, I am requesting a second congregation. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, because of mercy, please tell me the virtues. When realized I will fix.

Sir, I am requesting a third congregation. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, because of mercy, please tell me the virtues. When I realized it, I would fix it . ”

At that time, there was an elderly and frail elder who thought, " Until all the requests are finished ," while waiting for the daze and falling down. They have reported it to the Blessed One.

-The Bhikkhu khưu, we allow to squat while waiting for the petition, after the request is sitting down on the seat.

[228] At that time, the Bhikkhu khưu have initiated this: " How many Pavāraṇā ?" They have reported it to the Blessed One.

Hey khưu, here are two feast  Pavāra lễā : fourteenth day ceremony and fifteen days ceremony. The Bhikkhu khưu, here are two feast  Pavāraṇā .

At that time, the Bhikkhu khưu initiated this: " How many acts Pavāraṇā ?" They have reported it to the Blessed One.

-The Bhikkhu khưu, here are four  Pavāraṇā acts :  Pavāraṇā  wrong Dharma on the side, the   wrong French Pavāraṇā have unity, the   correct French Pavāraṇā on the group, the   right French Pavāra Phápā have one on one .

The Bhikkhu khưu, this case is the practice of  Pavāra saiā  wrong France on the side, this, the Bhikkhu khưu, should not perform  Pavāraṇā  have such form and  Pavāraṇā  of such form is not allowed. .

" If that is achieved, such a thing is good. If not achieved (like that), the relatives should be the Bhikkhu khưu said like this: "Hey guys, please take this bhikkhu out of the bounds for a while until the assembly has done Pavāraṇā. If that is achieved, such a thing is good. If not achieved (like that), still should not perform  Pavāraṇā  by assemblies on the faction; would anyone do it,  dukkaṭa  (World).

[231] at the time, staying in a certain country on the feast of  Pavāraṇā  there are five Bhikkhu khưu residence. At that time, the Bhikkhu khưu had initiated this: " The Blessed One has prescribed that: 'The assembly should conduct Pavāraṇā' and we are five people, so how should we perform Pavāraṇā? ? ” They have reported it to the Blessed One.

-The Bhikkhu khưu, we allow the request for assemblies for the year (position).

At the time, staying in that country on the feast of  Pavāraṇā,  there were four bhikkhus living. At that time, the Bhikkhu khưu had initiated this: "The Buddha allowed permission to request assemblies for five (position) and we are four, so how should we perform Pavāraṇā ? ” They have reported it to the Blessed One.

-The Bhikkhu khưu, we allow each other to request for four (position). And the Bhikkhu khưu, should petition like this:

The Bhikkhu khưu he should be informed by experienced, qualified Bhikkhu:

Listen to me, great virtues, today is Pavāraṇā on the fifteenth day. If it is the right time for great virtues, we should appeal to each other . "

The elder monk should cover the upper shoulder on one shoulder, squat, put his hands together, and should say to the monks like this:

Brothers, may I appeal to the great virtues. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, because of mercy, please tell me the virtues. When realized I will fix.

Monks, I would like to request the second great virtue. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, because of mercy, please tell me the virtues. When realized I will fix.

Monks, I would like to appeal to the great virtue a third time. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, because of mercy, please tell me the virtues. When I realized it, I would fix it . ”

The new bhikkhu should cover his shoulder, squat, clasp his hands, and should say to them like this:

Sirs,  I request the great virtues. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, because of mercy, please tell me the virtues. When realized I will fix.

At the time, staying in that country on the holiday of  Pavāraṇā  had three Bhikkhu khưu dwelling. At that time, the Bhikkhu khưu had initiated this: "The Buddha allowed the request to assemble for five (position), request each other for four (position) and we are three people, so How should we perform Pavāraṇā ? ” They have reported it to the Blessed One.

-The Bhikkhu khưu, we allow mutual requests for three (position). And the Bhikkhu khưu, should petition like this:

The Bhikkhu khưu he should be informed by experienced Bhikkhu khưu, full capacity:

Listen to me, great virtues, today is Pavāraṇā on the fifteenth day. If it is the right time for great virtues, we should appeal to each other . "

At the time, staying in that country on the holiday of  Pavāraṇā  had two Bhikkhu khưu dwelling. At that time, the Bhikkhu khưu had initiated this: "The Buddha allowed to request assemblies for five (position), petition each other for four (position), request each other for three (taste) and we are two, so how should we perform Pavāraṇā ? ” They have reported it to the Blessed One.

-The Bhikkhu khưu, we allow to petition each other for two (position). And the Bhikkhu khưu, should petition like this:

The elder monk should cover the upper shoulder on one shoulder, squat, clasp his hands, and should say to the new monk like this:

Monks, I would like to request great virtue. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, for mercy please speak to me. When realized I will fix.

This monk, I would like to request greater merit a second time. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, for mercy please speak to me. When realized I will fix.

Hey brother, I am asking for a third time. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, for mercy please speak to me. When I realized it, I would fix it . ”

White lord,  I request a great virtue. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, for mercy please speak to me. When realized I will fix.

Sir, I request a second great virtue. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, for mercy please speak to me. When realized I will fix.

Sir, I request a third great virtue. Because have been seen, or by hearing, or by doubt, for mercy please speak to me. When I realized it, I would fix it . ”

At the time, staying in that country on the feast of  Pavāraṇā  there was a Bhikkhu khưu living. At that time, the Bhikkhu khưu had initiated this: "The Buddha allowed to request assemblies for five (position), petition each other for four (position), request each other for three ( taste), mutual petition for the two (taste) and we are alone, so how should we perform Pavāraṇā ? ” They have reported it to the Blessed One.

The Bhikkhu khưu, where stay in the country on the holiday of  Pavāraṇā , there is danger from the king. ... (as above) ... there is danger of robbery, there is danger of fire, there is danger of flooding, there is danger for humanity, there is danger for inhumane, There is danger for wild animals, there is danger for snakes, there is danger for life, there is danger for Pham. If the Bhikkhu khưu there initiate like this: " This is the danger for Pham Hanh. If the congregation would request three readings, the congregation would not request it and this would be a danger to Virtue . " The assembly needs to be notified by experienced, qualified bhikkhus: "Sirs, please listen to the congregation. This is the danger for Pham. If the assembly will request three readings then the congregation will not request it and this will be a danger to Virtue. If the time is right for the assembly, the congregation should request two readings, (or) one reading, (or) according to the initiation .

[245] at the time, the Bhikkhu khưu group Lu Professor is the guilty conduct conducting  Pavāraṇā . They have reported it to the Blessed One.

-The Bhikkhu khưu, the guilty should not petition; anyone would like to  dukkaṭa  (World). The Bhikkhu khưu, any position that guilty that request, we allow accusations of the position after he had asked before.

At the time, the Bhikkhu khưu group Lu Professor while in advance was not consenting to the idea (okāsaṃ kātuṃ). They have reported it to the Blessed One.

-The Bhikkhu khưu, we allow to suspend the ceremony  Pavāra lễā  for not to give attention. And what, bhikkhus, should be suspended like this: On holidays  Pavarana  day fourteen or fifteen, while the character is present in the midst of the congregation, should be submitted to that: " Bach them, please congregation please listen to me. The name character (like this) who has committed the crime still appeals. I suspended the request (Mass Pavarana) [5]  of him. Should not request (conduct ceremony Pavāraṇā) in the presence of him . [246] Hey khưu, khưu Bhikkhu as Pavāraṇā ceremony   is suspended, like this is not suspended.

Bhikkhus khưu, Pavāraṇā ceremony is   not suspended?

The Bhikkhu khưu,  Pavāraṇā  three times to read, if suspended  Pavāraṇā  at the time of reading, said, finished, Pavāraṇā ceremony is   not suspended. The Bhikkhu khưu, in  Pavāraṇā  twice, if ... If he says like this: " Four pārājika (non-collective head), thirteen saṅghādisesa (increased museum), that is the damage on gender. Crime thullaccaya (felony), pācittiya (Falcon for treatment), pāṭidesanīya (uncovered), dukkaṭa (evil), dubbhāsita (evil password), that is the breakdown of conduct. Ta opinion, extreme opinion, that is the damage of knowledge. "The (suspension) should be said as follows:" Hey great virtue, the great virtue suspends the pavement of Pavāraṇā of this bhikkhu, is that the great virtue of suspension because it has been seen? Is great virtue suspended due to being heard? Is great virtue suspended by suspicion?

If he says like this: " Great virtues, I do not suspend the Pavāraṇā of this bhikkhu because I have seen it, but I suspend the Pavāraṇā ceremony because I have heard it. "That (suspension) should be said as follows:"This great virtue, the greater Germany suspended Pavāraṇā of this Bhikkhu khưu due to have been heard, greater Germany heard? Venerable heard? Venerable heard when? Where did Venerable hear? (Is the great virtue) heard that: 'This person has committed pārājika'? (Is the great virtue) heard that: 'This person has committed saṅghādisesa'? (Is the great virtue) heard that: 'This person has violated thullaccaya, pācittiya, pāṭidesanīya, dukkaṭa, dubbhāsita'? Has great faith heard from the Bhikkhu khưu? Have heard from the Bhikkhu khưu ni? Have heard from the novice nun? Have heard from the novice? Have heard from the novice monk? Have heard from male laity? Heard from laywoman? Have heard from the king? Have heard from the king's ministers? Have heard from the infidels? Have heard from the disciples of the pagan? 

If he says like this: " Great virtue, I do not suspend the Pavāraṇā of this bhikkhu because I have heard it, but I suspend the Pavāraṇā ceremony due to suspicion. "That (suspension) should be said as follows:"This great virtue, the greater Germany suspended Pavāra lễā ceremony of the Bhikkhu khưu due to doubt, greater Germany doubt what? Virtue doubt like? Virtue doubts when? Doubt where? Is it great faith that: 'This person has committed pārājika'? Is it great faith that: 'He has committed saṅghādisesa'? Is great faith that: 'This person has violated thullaccaya, pācittiya, pāṭidesanīya, dukkaṭa, dubbhāsita '? Are the great virtues doubtful after hearing from the bhikkhu? Doubt after hearing from the Bhikkhu khưu ni? Doubt upon hearing from the novice nun? Doubt after hearing from novice? Doubted after hearing from the novice monk? Doubt after hearing from the male laity? Doubt after hearing from the lay woman? Doubt after hearing from the king? Doubted after hearing from the king's ministers? Doubt after hearing from the infidels? Doubt after hearing from the disciples of the pagan?

If he says like this, " Venerable monks, I do not suspend this Bhikkhu ceremony of Bhikkhu khưu because of suspicion, but I also do not know because of what I suspended Pavāraṇā of this Bhikkhu." "The Bhikkhu khưu, if the Bhikkhu khưu charged with not satisfying the mind of the accomplices intelligent intelligence by reply is enough for the saying:" The accused is not guilty .
