RECRUITED

Tathagata knew A-Nan was harmed by the art, so he returned immediately. The King and the chief ministers of the laity all follow the Buddha, hoping to hear the weak dharma.

At that time, there were thousands of Bodhisattvas, Buddhas, Buddhas, Buddhas, etc. in all ten directions, longing to hear. All sat silently waiting to listen to the Buddha's instructions.

An-Nan bowed, respectfully listened to the compassionate teachings of the Blessed One.
7 ANSWERS ABOUT THE MIND
The Buddha told Ananda : "When you and Tathagata are brothers of the same lineage, when you first started to practice in the teachings of Tathagata, what points of vengeance did you give up so much deep love in the world to export? Gia? ”
A-Nan said , "White World, because I saw thirty-two excellent generals won the marvelous and marvelous victory of Tathagata, the luminous and transparent form like a jade crystal."

Buddha said: "Heal instead! Ananda, you should know that all sentient beings from beginning to now suffer continuous birth and death because they do not recognize the true mind, which is pure and clear, and mistakenly perceives delusion. These delusions are inherently unreal, so are rotated. ”
Now he wants to comprehend the supreme fruition Bodhi and discover the true nature, he must respond directly to Tathagata immediately. Ten ways Tathagata out of samsara, are thanks to the mind. - HEAD IN THE BODY

Ananda said , "White World Religion! Such love is due to my mind and eyes. Because the eye sees the venerable general of Tathagata, the mind prefers and generates the wish to renounce samsara. "
The Buddha told Ananda : "As you said, your favorite place is your mind and eyes. If you don't know where the mind and eyes are, it is impossible to surrender to the ceiling. ”
For example, when a king comes to invade his country, if he wants to launch an army to eradicate it, he needs to know where the enemy is.
The mistake was that his mind and eyes moved him. Now I ask him, where is the mind and eye?
Ananda said , "Blessed One World, all ten living beings in the world think that the mind is within the body. I see even though the blue lotus eye of Tathagata is also on my face. "
Now I observe the coarse roots of this four ceiling, only on my face. And in the same way, the true mind is in your body.
The Buddha said to Ananda , "Now that you are sitting in the lecture hall with Tathagata, where do you see the place of the Qianus garden?"
A-Nan ladies : Bach The Ton, this vast expanse of pure lecture hall, is in the garden of Mr. Cap Lon. And Ky Da forest is right outside the lecture hall.
The Buddha said : Ananda, now sitting in the lecture hall, what do you see first?
Ananda Nan: White World Religion, now in the lecture hall, first see the Tathagata, then see the mass. So looking out, I saw the forest.
The Buddha said to Ananda : When he saw the forest, what thanks could he see?
Ananda said, " World Honored One, because the doors of this auditorium are wide open, so I stayed inside the lecture hall and saw all the way out.
The Buddha told Ananda : "As you said, in the amphitheater, due to the wide opening, you can see the forest garden. Does anyone in the lecture hall not see Tathagata, but found things outside?
A-Nan said, "White World, in the lecture hall, do not see Tathagata, but to see the forest stream is impossible."
Buddha told Ananda Ananda, he is the same. His spirit clearly articulates everything. If the mind is clearly clear, that it is indeed within his body, then it must first know what is in his body. Is there any place that can be seen in the body before and after seeing the scenery outside?
Although he did not see the heart, the liver, the spleen, the taste ... but the ingrown nails, long hair, veins, pulse, should have known. Why not know? If you did not know the inside body, how to know the outside body?
So to know, he said this mind of knowing within the body, is unreasonable.
- HEAD OF MIND IN THE BODY
Ananda bowed his head and bowed to the Buddha: "Buddha, I heard Tathagata's instructions like that, so I realized that my mind is indeed outside my body."
Why? For example, if there is a light in the house, first it must be illuminated indoors, then follow the door to open in the yard. All beings do not see in the body, but only outside the body. Just like a light outside, it cannot be illuminated in the room.
This meaning is clear, without doubt and completely true to the ultimate meaning of Buddha. So do not know right?
The Buddha told Ananda : "The Bhikkhu khưu just now and the Tathagata sequentially beg for alms in the Seven-la-phat citadel, now return to the Ky Da forest. Tathagata has finished life, now asked the Bhikkhu khưu, when one person eats, the others are full? "
Ananda said , "World Honored One, cannot. Why? The Bhikkhu khưu had although arahantship, but his body did not agree. How can a person eat all to be full?
The Buddha told Ananda : "If the mind that sees his real understanding is outside the body, then the body and mind are separate, it is not related to each other. So what the mind knows, the body must not know, and what the body knows, the mind cannot know. "
Now Tathagata gives his arm where he is free to see, when his eyes see, does his mind discriminate? ”
Ananda said , "World Honored One, that's right."
Buddha told Ananda : If the body and mind know each other, why do you say the mind is outside the body? "
So must know, he said the mind sees hearing outside the body, it's not reasonable.
- MIND IN THE EYE
Ananda said , "World Honored One, as the Buddha taught, because you don't see the inside, your mind doesn't have to be in the body." Because both body and mind know each other, but do not leave each other so my mind is not outside the body. Now I think, knowing it is in one place.
Buddha asked : "Where is this now?"
Ananda said , "Because of this clear mind, you don't know what's inside, but you can see what's outside. As I thought, it hides inside the eye. ”
For example, someone takes a cup upside down on the eye, but there are objects that cover the eye without being hindered. When the eye sees it, immediately there is a distinction.
But my conscious mind cannot see inside, because it is in the eye. But he could still see that the outside object was clearly unobstructed, because the mind was hiding behind the eye.
The Buddha told Ananda : As he said, the mind lurks behind the eye, like the eye hiding behind the cup. So the other person, after putting the cup up in his eyes to see the mountains and the river, did he see the cup?
Ananda Nan : White World Religion: That's right, when he put up the cup cup eyes, really see the cup cup.
The Buddha said , "If your mind is like an eye hiding behind a cup, then when you see mountains and rivers, why don't you see the eye?"
If the eye is visible, the eye is the same as the scene seen. Such meaning is not optional. If you don't see the eye, why do you say that this knowing mind lurks in the eye like the eye hiding behind the cup?
So to know, he said that the mind of knowledge throughout his eyes was like an eye lurking behind a cup. That makes no sense.
4. MIND INTO OUTDOOR
Ananda Nan Buddha : "White World Religion, now I have such thoughts: the human body, organs inward, vented outside. The place of organs is dark, and the place of grave is bright.
Now I confront Buddha, open my eyes to see, called seeing outside, when I see my eyes see dark, I see inside. Is that true meaning?
The Buddha said to Ananda : When you close your eyes to see darkness, is darkness available before your eyes? If it was before his eyes, then that darkness was before his eyes, why did he say that it was within?
If it was really inside, when he went into a dark house without sunlight, moon or lights, the darkness in that room was from his three targets and his five organs? And if it is not before his eyes, how can it be seen?
If you ignore the outside view, but think that the eye facing inward should see dark, then when closed eyes see dark, called seeing in the body. So when I saw my eyes, I couldn't see my face in the morning.
If you can't see your face, there's no seeing inside. If you can see the face, the mind knows this and the eye must be out of nowhere, how can it be inside?
If it is out of nowhere, it is not his being, so this is how the Tathagata sees his face. Tathagata is also his body or what?
In that case, when his eyes knew, his body still did not know. He must tell the body and the eyes know, then we have to know two things. That is, his body can become two Buddhas.
So must know, when he said seeing dark is seeing in the body, that is ridiculous.
5. MISSING THE MINING AT THE HARMONIZATION
Ananda : Dear, I often hear the Buddha teach them, because of the mind, so all beings arise;
Now I think, the body of that thinking is really my mind, depending on where the harmony, the mind that follows, there are not three places in, out and in between.
The Buddha said to Ananda : Now he says that due to the birth of dharmas, the things of birth arise, depending on the harmony, the mind according to that. If the mind has a self, there is probably no harmony. If there is no being that harmonizes, it is the same as the nineteenth precept in harmony with the seventh ceiling. That means is not right.
If the mind has a self, when he scratches his body with his hand, does his mind recognize the knowing from within the body, or is it out of the body? If from within the body to come back to see in the body. If he came in from outside, he had to see his face first.
Ananda said : Seeing in the eyes, and knowing in the mind is not due to the eyes, the mind sees is not reasonable.
Buddha said : Suppose the eyes could see that when he was in the house, could the door be visible? Likewise, when a person dies, their eyes remain, they should still be able to see things. If seeing things, why is it called death?
Again, Ananda, if your understanding mind has self, can there be one or more bodies? Is it where his whole body is whole body or not whole body?
If the mind was only one body, then when he scratched his hand on one spot on the body, there should be feeling elsewhere in the body. If all the body has a feeling, the scratching is not certain. If the scratching is certain, the meaning of the mind may be unreasonable.
If there are many, then there are many people. So how is his?
If the whole body, as said before, if not all over the body, then when he rubbed his head and then touched his feet, if the head knew the right leg did not know. But this case is not right for him.
So must know, depending on the place of harmony, the mind that exists is not rational.
6. MENTAL MIND IN THE MIDDLE
Ananda Nan Buddha : White World Religion, I heard when the World Religion along with Mr. Manjushri and the prince of the dharma discuss the meaning of the Prime Minister. The Blessed One said: The mind is neither inside nor outside.
According to my thinking, if the mind is inside but cannot see the inside, and outside, the mind and body don't know each other. Because the mind does not know in, the meaning inward is not reasonable. Because the body and mind know each other, it is not right to say that the mind is outside. Now that the body and mind know each other, and also cannot see inside, the mind is definitely in the middle.
Buddha said : He said the center in the middle, that place must not be all of a sudden, or not have a certain position. Now you have to consider carefully, where is the midpoint? Is it in the external scene, or is it on the body?
If the midpoint is in the body, when on one side of the body it is not in the middle. If in the middle of the body is like in the body. If the midpoint is a scene, is it stated or not? If it is not, if it is not, if it is given, then the point has no definite position.
Why? For example, someone planted a tree to make the middle point. If the focus is not clear, his mind will become confused.
Ananda said , "I said the middle point, these are not the two." As World Religion teaches, eye meets the ceiling, graceful eyes-consciousness. Eyes are discriminatory, and sharp-minded are senseless. Consciousness arises in that space, which is my mind.
The Buddha said : If your mind is in the space between the root and the ceiling, then does the mind include both sides, or does it include both sides?
If including both sides, the ceiling is confused. Tran does not know, base is known, the two opposites. What is the middle point? Including both sides is also not possible, because there is neither known nor unknown, that is, not possible. What was the midpoint for?
So it must be unreasonable to know the mind in the middle.
7. MISSING THE MIND WITHOUT TOUGH
Ananda White Buddha : White World Religion, this year, I saw the Buddha and four great disciples, Mr. Maudgalyayana, Tu Bodhi, Phu-long-na, Xa-profit-waving and turning the dharma wheel. The Buddha used to say: the mind of discriminating knowledge is not in, not out, not in the middle, there is no place. All do not have eyes, it is called the mind. So is this non-attachment of the mind called mind?
The Buddha told Ananda : He said the nature of this discriminating knowledge of mind is nowhere. So things in the world appear like nothingness and aquatic species, continents, no, onions ... all things. The attachment that he said was to be or not to be?
If not, copper is like the horn of a rabbit. Why is it called non-attachment?
If there is no attachment, it cannot be called no. No generals do not. Otherwise, there must be a minister. If there is a general, there must be a place, how can I say that I am not attached?
So, to know all that is not attached, which is called the mind of knowledge, is unreasonable.
FOCUS - DISTRIBUTION CENTER

You are the youngest brother of the Blessed One. Thanks to the Blessed One, now although he has become a monk, he still depends on the Blessed One's love. Bowing to the Blessed One to expand mercy, mercifully teach us, the practice of meditation (xa-ma-tha), making the first row of threads-and-devils-away from wrong view.
After asking, Ananda put the five stature on the ground, along with the whole crowd respectfully waiting to hear the advice of the Buddha.

Six tremors throughout the Buddha realms. Ten realms of water as the number of mundane simultaneously appear. Because of the Buddha's majesty, the mundane worlds became one realm. Buddha told Ananda : All sentient beings from beginning to now, according to the crazy things, naturally form the karmic like the beams of evil.
Those who practice cannot become supreme Bodhi, but only Thanh Thanh, Pratyekabuddha or pagan cities, devas, maya and their kin ...
Both do not know the two basic dishes, so practice wrong. They are like people who cook sand and hope to become rice. Despite many lifetimes as misconduct but ultimately still can not achieve what desired.
What are the two basic dishes?
Ananda, a basic being of samsara, from beginninglessness, is the predestined mind that he and all sentient beings now receive as their own nature.
The second is the pure form of bodhichitta from beginninglessness. That is his original consciousness. Currently, the arising of conditions is forgotten by him.
Because sentient beings neglect this nature, even though they spend it all day without realizing it, they drift away unjustly in the realms.
Ananda, now that you want to know the path of practicing meditation, wishing to be free from samsara, I ask you again. Tathagata brought up the yellow arm, had five fingers back then
The Buddha asked : Ananda, Do you see?
Ananda said : "World Honored One, have I seen.
Buddha asked : What do you see?
A-Nan replied : I saw Tathagata raise his arm and fold his five fingers into a shining fist shining on his mind and eyes.
Buddha asked : What did he take to see?
Ananda said : Both the masses and I see with the eyes.
APPROPRIATE THINKING FOR MINDING
Buddha told Ananda ; As he had just answered, saying that the Tathagata had twisted five fingers into a shining fist shining into his mind and eyes. His eyes could see, but what did he use to make his mind shine?
Ananda said : Where the Buddha asked the mind, now I use the ultimate thought mind to search. I think that the very thought of that searching thought is my mind.
The Buddha said : Wrong A-Nan, that is not his mind.
Ananda was startled, left his seat, stood up and clasped his hands with the Buddha: That is not my mind, so what is it? ''
The Buddha told Ananda : It was the imagination of the false generals of the predecessors, it obscured his true nature. Since beginninglessness to now, he received this enemy as a child, leaving the original nature should be subject to rotation.
Ananda Nan Buddha : Bach Duc The Ton, I am the younger brother of Buddha, because I love the Buddha so I become a monk. My mind not only made offerings to the Tathagata, but also experienced many states such as the sand of the Ganges River, the inheritance of the Buddhas and the good knowledge. Embracing the mind of great power, doing all the difficult things is to apply this mind. Even if you destroy the Buddha Dharma and leave good roots, this mind is also.
Now the Buddha clearly pointed out that it is not the mind, so I have no mind, like wood like stone, because other than that known, I have nothing else. Why does Tathagata say that is not the mind? I was terrified and in the public everyone suspected. Brought the Buddha to invite compassion to teach those who have not been enlightened.
At that time the Blessed One taught Ananda and all the masses, wishing their hearts and minds to be free of Dharma. From the lions court, Buddha stroked Ananda's head
The Buddha said that : Tathagata often says that all dharmas arising are due to compassion. All karma and the world as much as the mote are in the mind where mind is possible.
Ananda, like all things that exist in the world from grass tops, leaves, strings, knots ...
When considering its roots, everything can be Tanh. Until nowhere also has names and appearances.
What is this pure, lucid mind that is miraculous in nature and is the nature of all mind itself without its own nature?
If he clings to the distinction of knowing, thinking that it is mind, then this mind, when leaving all sound, flavor, and taste, must have its own mind. As he now hears the dharma of Tathagata, it is the sound multiplication that has a distinction. Despite all the seeing, hearing, understanding, knowing that keeping the peace, quietly inside, are due to the shadow of the discrimination of the Dharma ceiling.
Not that I told him that it was not mind. But he had to consider well, if there was a discriminatory nature when he left the whole world, that was his mind.
If this discriminatory nature when leaving the ceiling without leaving the body, it is only the distinguishing shadow of the ceiling. The ceiling is not ordinary, when it disappears, that mind is like the rabbit's horn. The law of his body is like cessation. Who is a practitioner of the lawless birthlessness?
At that time, Ananda and the whole mass were silent and bewildered.
The Buddha told Ananda : All people who study in the world, though they have now been appointed to do things, but not all of their delusion, being an Arahant, are due to their attachment to delusion, mistaking it for authenticity. So now, although he has learned a lot, he has not attained enlightenment.
Ananda listened and cried and sorrow, sowing five stems close to the ground, kneeling down and clasping hands and white Buddhas. Since I emanated the mind of renunciation in accordance with Buddha, I only knew to depend on the Buddha's dread. I often think that, from the hard work of practice, I hope that the Tathagata will give me the right concentration. I do not know the body and mind of Buddha and I can not replace each other. So I lost the mind myself, but the body was ordained but the mind did not enter. I am like a man who died with my father and ran away.
Nowadays, we know that even though we hear the Buddha Dharma a lot, if we don't practice it, we still haven't heard it. As someone who only talks about food, he doesn't get enough.
White World Religion, now we are bound by two obstacles, because do not know the nature which is usually quiet. Bowing to the Tathagata to pity the poor and destitute, giving rise to a lucid and mysterious mind, opening the eyes for us.
STAY AWAY THAT IS NOT EYE EYES
Then, from the swastika above Tathagata's chest, it emitted a golden glory, a bright light of hundreds of thousands of colors, illuminating simultaneously throughout the ten directions of the Buddhas as much as the number of mote. Aura poured down on the throne of the Tathagata in the Buddha realms in all ten directions. Turn to enlightenment to Ananda and the whole mass.
The Buddha then told Ananda : Now as a result of his elaboration of the large dharma assembly, all sentient beings of all ten directions have attained a pure, profound and mysterious mind and a pure vision.
A-Nan, he answered in the past that his hand was shining brightly. So does this fist cause pain? How do fist become bright? What did he take to see?
Ananda said , "The Buddha's body is like golden matches. It is as bright as a mountain of mountains. It is born of pure virtue, so it has a bright aura." I actually saw with my eyes that the five fingers of Buddha shrunk into fists, held up for everyone to see.
The Buddha told Ananda : Tathagata today told him honestly, wise people need to use examples to be enlightened.

Ananda said : "World Honored One, that's right. If there is no eye, then there is no seeing. If you take the example of Buddha's hand with the eye, you are the same.
The Buddha told Ananda : He said the same thing, that is not true. What happened? If a person doesn't have a hand, obviously there's no fist, but blind people, they're not completely blind.
By why? He tried out and asked the blind people: What do you see?
The blind will surely answer: Now I see only a dark color before my eyes, but nothing else. In that sense, the review is clear, the blind see the dark front, but their view is not missing.
Ananda : The only thing that blind people can see in front of them is dark. How can it be called visible?
The Buddha told Ananda : What is the difference between the dark color that blind people see and the dark color that bright people see when they are in a dark room?
Ananda said , "World Honored One, that's right." The two colors were dark, one by the person in the dark room and the other by the blind who saw no difference.
Buddha said: Ananda, if a blind person can only see the darkness when suddenly seeing his eyes again, seeing all kinds of appearances, he calls it because the eyes see. And when the person in the dark room, seeing only the front completely dark, suddenly saw everything thanks to the light, it should be better to call the lights.
If the view is caused by the lamp, the lamp has acquired the view, so it is not called the lamp; And if the light sees, what is the relationship to you?
So be aware, the lights reveal objects. And that view is due to the eyes, not the lights. When the eye identifies objects, the nature that sees it is the mind, not the eye.
Although A-Nan and the masses were told that by the Buddha, the mind was not enlightened, so it remained silent, hoping that the Tathagata would use more compassionate teachings. Should stand folded hands, anxiously waiting for the Buddha to show mercy only.
At that time, the Blessed One stretched out his brilliant, bright, five fingers fingers, telling Ananda and the whole mass:

Just like when the rain had just stopped, the sun glittered high above, the rays of light shining into the house through the gap of the door, making the dust particles clear in the void. The dust shook, and nowhere is silent.

Buddha said : That's right!
Then in mass, Tathagata has five fingers closed, then opened and closed, opened and then closed.
The Buddha asked Ananda, saying: - Now what do you see?

The Buddha said to Ananda : Do you see the Tathagata's hand held back in the masses, that is the Tathagata's hand held back, or his body opened again?
A-Nan ladies : The Blessed One's precious hand has a grip in the masses, I see the Tathagata's hand clenched in his hand again, not having a disposition of having a bath.
The Buddha asked : Which one is active and which is pure?
Ananda : The Buddha's hand did not rest. As for my seeing nature, I have no idea of tranquility, how can I still be active?
The Buddha replied : That's right!
Then, from the palm of his hand, Tathagata unleashed a golden light emanating on the right shoulder of Ananda.
Ananda then turned to the right to look.
The Buddha released another radiance over the left shoulder.
Ananda then turned to the left to look.
The Buddha told Ananda : Why is his head shaking now?
Ananda said , "I saw the Tathagata projectile the golden light shining on my right shoulder and my left shoulder, so my head shook.
Buddha said: Ananda, when he looked at the glory of Tathagata, his head turned to the sides of his shoulder, did his head move or his vision move?
Ananda Nan : White World Religion, the head of the child, because the nature of his children do not even have the idea of stopping, how can there be action?
Buddha said : That's right!
Then the Buddha said to the masses: Suppose there are others who call the cave ceiling, which does not stop called guests. "
