THE BORDER, THEIR BEAUTY, THE LIFE, THEIR NET AND THEIR MIND
BORDERS, BEINGS, LIFE NETWORK
AND THE MIND OF BIRTH.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
At that time, the Buddha did not advocate the discussion of metaphysical, ontological or cosmological and miraculous matters. With the mind of Tathagatabala (Tathagatabala), he perceives the nature of sentient beings, kamma and the results of kamma of sentient beings as well as sees all the worlds in the ten directions. , but he was silent in the face of questions from his disciples or in the pagan regarding the above issues because they were not of any benefit to the spiritual practitioners on the way to liberation. As in doing Paris (Pathika), Digha Sutta, the Buddha said, "Hey Sunakkhatta! The origin of the world is explained or not explained, the purpose of the Buddha preaching the Dharma is to bring the practitioner to the place of eradication of suffering. Hey Sunakkhatta! So, what's the use of explaining the beginning of the world to you? ”Or, like in the Vinaya, the Buddha did not allow monks to perform miracles.
However, sometimes in some cases, he preached teachings related to the world of discourse, discourse (The Sutta of the Enlightenment , the Jaliya Sutta , the Sutta Section), ...) and Himself has repeatedly promoted miracles (for example, when the Buddha returned to the City of the Bhikkhu La Ve, he manifested himself in order to photograph the royal prince, and then he manifested and showed two steps up to heaven Dao Loi preached to his mother, or He personally developed miracles when the pagan challenged, although many of his disciples asked permission to compete, but were not Buddha allow, ...) the purpose is still to open the mind of sentient beings, to show beings the hostility of the realms, in which only sentient beings with good karma, monastic conduct, concentration, and wisdom are be reborn in.
In the classic Tripitaka, there are many dharma sermons preached by the Buddha such as the Sutta of the Enlightenment (Truong Bo), the Sutta of the Minor Industry (Central Part ), the Sutra Outside the Wall (the Ministry), the Sage Sutta (Trung) Ministry), ... and the disciples of the Lord teach as of Phung Tung (Digha, Sariputra), economic Atthakanagara (Central, Ananda), of Bad Tuc (Digha, he Kumara Kassapa,) business Madhura (Central, He Ma ha Ca Chien Dien), ... refers to the realm, the sentient, Executive Minister, reincarnation ... of beings. In particular, Abhidhamma (Abhidhamma) analyzes very closely the mind and the realm of sentient beings.
A. The realm
The world under the wisdom of the Buddha is immeasurable, boundless and inconceivable. Mahayana sutras are often referred to as world numbers of the Ganges (the world number is as high as the number of sand in the Ganges River).
In all of those worlds, the world we live in is just one of the three realms. The Three Realms are also in the world, not in the world. The 31 realms of the Three Realms exist not only in this universe, but each of the three worlds in the ten directions has 31 realms.
The 31 realms of the Three Realms from low to high are as follows:
I. Sex about: 11 realms.
a. The four realms of suffering:
1. Hell
2. Animal birth
3. Peta
4. To your la
b. Seven realms of sensuality:
5. The human realm
6. Heaven and the Four Heavenly Kings
7. Heaven of the Three Gods (Heaven and Earth Loi, King of Gods Like here)
8. God of Da Ma
9. Where's The Sun rate
10. Heaven And Liberation
11. Heaven Falles into Self.
II. Lust: 16 realms.
a. The first three realms of meditation:
12. Heaven Pham them
13. Heaven, father
14. Heaven's Great Pham.
b. The third three realms of meditation:
15. Thieu Quang Heaven
16. Heaven Amitayus
17. Heaven of the Sun.
c. The third realms of the third meditation floor:
18. The Pure Land Heaven
19. Heaven immeasurable
20. Heaven variable Tinh.
d. The fourth seven realms of meditation:
21. Heaven is the fruit
22. The Unreal
The Five Pure Land Immigration:
23. It's annoying
24. It's no heat
25. Heavenly Good News
26. Heaven is good
27. Heaven Sac's end.
III. Infinite World: 4 realms.
28. Heaven Is Not Boundless of Origin
29. Heaven Awake boundless land
30. Heaven Doesn't own land
31. African utopia non-utopia.
In these 31 realms, only the human realm is full of joy and sadness, happiness and suffering and there are enough conditions to practice good roots and cultivate merit. Other realms either because of being too miserable (as in the four realms of suffering) without being cultivated and blessed and unable to cultivate wholesome roots, or because they are too happy (like gods in the heavenly and transitory realms) Thien) should only know the benefits but forget the practice and cultivation of good roots for the next life.
The world suffers from impermanence, so there is no realm of eternity. There is no permanent heaven and no eternal hell. Beings in hell when they have finished being reborn in the other realms. Sentient beings from the heavenly realms of Heaven and the human realms who are blessed and who do evil deeds also fall into the four miserable paths after death. Beings in the heavenly realms, if blessed, also descend to the lower realms, but they are not reborn directly from the heavenly realms to the four evil beasts but from the Brahma realm, they fall into the heavenly realms world or human realm then from that realm, if ignorant dream, they will fall on four evil beasts.
Of the 31 realms, only the human realm and the four heavenly heavenly beings have all 11 classes of beings (except the inhuman realms of suffering), that is, there are enough saints and mortals together. In the other realms, there are realms of 3, 8 or 9 or 10 classes of beings, even there is only 1 realm of beings as four wicked beasts and the utopia (see Table A below).
B. Beings
Buddha knowledge the karmas of living beings, the road to the realm reborn, and he also scrutinizes clearly being headed after death (University of Lion amalgams , business Hien stupid , ... Central Business).
Beings in the realms (except beings in the Pure Land no longer reincarnate) keep rotating from one realm to another. Beings who do good karma like alms, offerings, moral precepts, wisdom, and meditation practice, are born in the heavenly good animals. Beings do bad karma, do not cultivate, meditate, and be reborn in the four realms of suffering.
Due to the difference in karma in the past, beings are reported to be different. There are rich and happy people, some rich people crumble but miserable, some poor life, but petty all day long elected to be friends, people can not eat all the people who do not come out, others are wise clever intelligence hero, foolish foolish man, some are so beautiful so that the birds and the fish have dived so much that the sky and the earth are jealous, the ugly people are evil, the one who heals the most, and the one who pleads with his mouth whoever hears ... Even the heavenly heavenly beings have a difference in beauty, the palace is big and the palace is more or less different. All are created by previous karma of sentient beings.
The Abhidhamma organ lists 12 classes of beings as follows:
a.Golden saints (all eight saints are three persons).
1.Tu Da Hoan and 2. Tuu Hoan
3. Tu Da Ham Dao, 4. Tu Da Ham Qua
5.A Na Ham derivatives, 6. A Na Ham fruiting
7. Arhat and Arhat 8.A Arhat
When the Way Center was born, immediately ceased and immediately after it was born, so eight saints class also regarded as only four: Tu Da Hoan, Tu Da Ham, A Na Ham and Arhat.
b. 4 subclasses:
9. Rankings inhuman realms
10. Rankless Human realms stray
11. Rank two
12. Third-class personnel.
+ Classless suffering realms: Including beings in the realms of suffering such as animals, demons, beings in hell. These sentient beings are reborn with akusala vipākacitta.
+ Rankless Human Realms: Including the human race and some gods in the four heavenly kings. These are beings with birth defects such as deafness, blindness, dumbness, or disability. These sentient beings are reborn with the mind of akusala kamma.
+ The second class of people (greed andlessness): Including human beings and gods without wisdom. They were reborn in the Mind of good faith. These people cannot realize the levels of meditation and enlightenment no matter how hard they try to practice. However, due to the effort of practicing in this life, the next life they can become sentient beings, continue to practice and witness.
+ Third-class people (greed, anger and ignorance): Including human beings and gods with wisdom and Brahma. They were reborn in the mind of good faith according to the mind. They can realize the levels of meditation and the attainments of their present life if they try to practice.
Life of sentient beings
Longevity of beings in different realms.
Of the four realms of suffering and the human realm, the life span of beings is long and short.
The life span of sentient beings in the Four Heavenly Kings is 500 years, the higher they reach the higher realm, the longer life span (see Table A below).
-1 day in Heaven realm Four heavenly king equal to 50 years in the human realm. 500 years in this world equals 9 million years of the human realm.
-1 day in heaven Heavenly Island = 100 years in human world. 1000 years in this world equals 36 million years of the human realm.
-1 days in the Heavenly Yard Da Ma = 200 years in the human realm. 2,000 years in this world equals 144 million years of the human realm.
-1 days in the world of Tushita = 400 years in the human realm. 4,000 years in this world equals 576 million years of the human realm.
-1 day in Heaven and the Earth At oneself = 800 years in the human world. 8,000 years in this world is equal to 2,304 million years of the human realm.
-1 days in the Heavenly Fallen Heaven At 1,600 years in the human realm. 16,000 years in this world equals 9,216 million years of the human realm.
- The time from human life expectancy increased from 10 years old to the number of people and then decreased gradually down to 10 years old is a middle life (Antara-kappa).
- 64 Middle lifetimes is an A rising karma (Asankheyya-kappa).
- 4 A rising period life is a great life (Maha-kappa).
The seventh retreat season, the Buddha went to the heaven of heaven to preach to the celestial assemblies for 90 days. Nobody in the human realm can listen to a 90-day discourse like that, but 90 days of the human world is only 3.6 minutes of this heaven so the people here listen to the dharma for 3.6 minutes without difficulty. . ( The Essence of the Buddha Abhidhamma , Dr. Mehm Tin Mon, p. 194)
Table A: Sentient beings in the realms of life, the life span and the mind of rebirth
C. The heart of them: 89/121 Mind.
The Abhidhamma organ analyzes sentient beings' minds into 89, of which 81 are mundane and eight are mundane:
- 81 The worldly mind includes:
1. 54 gender realms, including:
- 12 Mind akusala: 8 mind with root, 2 mind with root and 2 root with root si.
- 18 Heartless people:
+ 7 unwholesome vipākacitta: Eye consciousness, consciousness, consciousness, loss of consciousness, body consciousness (feeling of suffering), mental consciousness (equanimity of discharge), and observation of mind (equanimity of discharge).
+ 8 unwholesome vipākacittas: Consciousness, consciousness, consciousness, loss of consciousness, bodily sensation (pleasant sensation), mental awareness (sensory discharge), contemplation of mind (equanimity) and observance of mind (sensation of joy) .
+ 3 mindless, humanistic mind: the Five Facultations of the mind, the mind-door, the mind-door, and the Tieu being mind-minded (Only Buddhas and Arahats have Tieu-mind).
- 24 Good mind: 8 Great mind, 8 Great mind and 8 Great minds.
2. 15 Tam Realms of Mind: 5 Mindfulness, 5 Fruits and 5 Interactive Points.
3. 12 Immaculate Consciousness: 4 Mind-goodness, 4 Resultant-consciousness and 4-mind-consciousness.
- 8 The worldly mind consists of 4 holy mind and 4 holy fruits. If there are five stages of meditation, there will be 40 mundane appearances, increasing the number of minds to 121 (81 mundane mind + 40 mundane consciousness).
The number of minds of beings in the Three Realms (see table B below).
1. The inhuman class of the four realms of suffering has only 37 minds.
2. Infernal realms of communication and class Two in the realm of Education has 41 mind.
3. Third-class people in the realms of Education have 45 centers, the rupa has 39 minds and in the Formless sphere there are 24 centers.
4. Tu Da Hoan in the realm of Education has 41 centers, the Sac realm has 35 centers and in the Formless realm there are 20 centers.
5. Tu Da Ham in the realm of Education has 41 centers, the Sac realm has 35 centers and in the Saceless realm there are 20 centers.
6. A Na Ham in the realm of Education has 39 centers, the realm of Sac has 35 centers and in the Formless realm has 20 centers.
7. A La Han in the realm of Education has 35 minds, the rupa has 31 minds and the Formless realm has 15 minds.
Table B: Number of mind of beings in the Three Realms
As said, the Buddha did not advocate discussing matters related to the world, the origin of the world, or even the magical issue. The explanation of the world, the hostility and anguish of the realms is only intended to encourage sentient beings to practice good karma to be reborn in peaceful realms. The analysis of the mind, too, is only to guide sentient beings to return to live peacefully with self-consciousness, because the peace of mind, the world can be peaceful. Therefore, the discourses given by the Buddha, whether analyzing the world, about sentient beings, about long and short life expectancy yourself, to others and to all kinds.
