How to be free of birth and death?VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.

We learn Buddha to understand the process of birth and death, and then we practice to liberate samsara. The story of life and death if not understood, then we do not make any sense.

Practice to escape sarnsara

If you take the Six Great Principles as the basis and train your body and mind, then you will gain the freedom of birth and death.

We are born in this world, most of them don't know what to do; We go on being born, and then dead. In the period of time from birth to death, we go crazy for the sake, for the benefit and the crazy, for the sharpness, the leaning, for the good food, for the good, for the enjoyment, but for the crazy island. Why are we crazy? Because we are not aware of our own duty to be human, we suddenly arise in heaven, suddenly falling to hell.

From birth to death, we have never thought about wanting to truly understand what the basic meaning of being a human being is! But we run after the bar, chasing color, and then in the bar, color, prestige, profit that try to rotate. We only know how to earn money daily to sustain our life, but we do not have a final understanding of what we live for! If merely because of eating, dressing, sleeping, then what is life worth? Because everyone doesn't bring this issue out to make it clear, so let's keep on living, and then we will die deadly. At the time of death people were still entangled in this and that, boys and girls, and possessions - it was so unlucky! But, even if they couldn't let go, they couldn't do anything. At death, you must die!

We learn Buddha to understand the process of birth and death, and then we practice to liberate samsara. The story of life and death if not understood, then we do not make any sense.

We learn Buddha to understand the process of birth and death, and then we practice to liberate samsara. The story of life and death if not understood, then we do not make any sense.

'Samsara is like spring and winter. Winter waning is the time of death when spring comes and the time of birth '

We learn Buddha to understand the process of birth and death, and then we practice to liberate samsara. The story of life and death if not understood, then we do not make any sense. So, you who are studying Buddhism, should first be well aware of this basic problem. You must understand how you are born and how you die and also understand what it is to be a human being. If you understand these tasks well, then you will not be left behind.

The ancients said:

Hybrid wedding Festival past time,

Not at the most humble time,

Like any past egrets,

Herons happy wedding herons.

Mean:

Come happy, go sad,

Not even a lifetime,

If nothing comes or won't go,

To not be happy, nor sad.

"Come and be happy" (happy hybrid age): When a baby is born, in any family, everyone is very happy.

"Going sad" (past bi times): When someone died, the family members were very sad, crying and crying. Laugh when you come, then cry. But when the child was born, he cried, until the time he left he did not forget to cry. We are happy to see people being born, when we see people die, we cry, the babies die we cry, the elderly die we cry, the middle-aged people die, weep. If a wife dies, then the husband will cry. When the husband dies, the wife will cry. What's the use of crying, after all? That is called a map!

"Not a life cycle then" (not in the most fated back in the world): In this life, what we also do not understand. When it comes, it's not, it's not when we go, we do not gain any more profit or capital at all. Which capital loss here? Those who live in the world and do good deeds are promoted, if they create bad karma, they will be brought down. Those who do not do good deeds, nor cause bad karma, they will not be promoted nor downgraded. They will not go to heaven, nor will they go to hell, but they will continue to turn around in the "chemical factory" of the human world.

We humans are a small chemical factory. When you have a little more thought, that little bit becomes material. If you increase your merit and virtue, you will be promoted, like being born in heaven to be a human being, or being human in the human world, or becoming an Arahant. If you cause bad karma, you must go to hell, pretend to be a ghost or raise animals. If you do not go to heaven nor go to hell, you will live in the human world and lead a normal life. In this life, you eat a little, also wear a little, sleep a little, then what will you eventually get? It is still empty handed that came, empty handed that went. So the verse says, "It's not even a lifetime."

"Come and be happy" (happy hybrid age): When a baby is born, in any family, everyone is very happy.

"Come and be happy" (happy hybrid age): When a baby is born, in any family, everyone is very happy.

The root of samsara is samsara

"If nothing comes or goes," (not like any future heron): For such a life, in the end, what do we mean? There is no great meaning; so "if nothing goes, it doesn't come."

"To neither be happy nor sad" (egrets happy, euthanistic) euthanasia: If we do not come, there will be no joy, nor no compassion. Isn't that too calm? But people do not suffer the silence. No problem, they try to find something to do; so they stay in the six paths of samsara, move back and forth, birth and death, death and birth, stay there and become a vagrant. You say they understand already, but what do they understand? I don't believe they understood. They only understand the impermanent general appearance of the world, so their minds are often depressed, often unhappy. You try to say, people who live like that, what is the end? If we can understand that being human means nothing, then we should find out what the true meaning of being human is!

Personally, I feel: "Life is impermanent, just in a moment of exhalation." There were three old men in the past - one was ninety years old, one eighty years old and one seventy years old. The three old men had fun together at a party.

The seventy-year-old said, "This year we meet at the banquet table, not sure who will be missing next year?" He meant that this year the three of us happily eating and drinking together, but do not know who will be empty next year.

The eighty-year-old said, "You talk too far! Can I take off my shoes and socks today, I wonder if tomorrow can be worn? ” That means I take off my socks tonight, but I'm not sure if I will be able to bring them back tomorrow.

The ninety-year-old man said, “You said it was too far away. The breath I just exhaled, whether it came back or not I don't know! ” He said that because he was ninety years old. Let us each reflect on the comments of these three old men. Can we be sure that we will not die?

There was a middle-aged man who, after his death, went to visit Pluto and said, "My age is still young, my health is so strong, what did you call me down here for?" I still can do a lot of things. He wanted to call me down without even giving me an advance notice. He never telegraphed or wrote me first, so I could know and prepare. Now He made me come here, what nonsense! "

We humans are a small chemical factory. When you have a little more thought, that little bit becomes material.

Samsara and pestilence

"The King of Hell said," I have sent you letters many times, but you have not listened to them. "

The middle-aged man answered, "When did you send a letter to me?"

Pluto replied: "I sent you the first letter when your neighbor gave birth to a baby and only two days later the baby died; so do you think you will die too? ”

The middle-aged man replied, "Ah! Is that letter sent to me? I didn't recognize words like that, and I couldn't read a letter either. What about the second letter? ”

Pluto said, "You've seen many people who almost control your age die, that's the second letter."

“But I don't think I will die either. And the third letter? ”

Pluto continued: "You have seen that the elderly are deaf, their teeth are fallen, so why are you not a little careful. Do you think the future will also be your turn? ”

When the middle-aged man listened, his head hung limp and speechless.

Each of us will eventually receive letters like that, but then we will not pay attention. What is the use of paying attention? Do we have any methods? We should try to learn the Buddha, learn how to escape sarnsara. For samsara, we must make sure that we will be free in life and death. Some people refer to freedom, but to false freedom. Being born free, that is, if you want to live, you can live for as long as you want; If you want to die, you can die any time. Talk comes, talk goes. Where I come from, I know; wherever I go, I know it. Studying the Dharma is because you want to move freely, your birth and death are decided by you. No matter how many telegrams he sent or how many letters he sent, I didn't care.

Want to be free of birth and death, where do we start? This is very simple, nothing magical at all, nor need to read every day how many mails sent to Pluto. Here, I have Lu Dai Tong Chi. If you take these six principles as a basis, and train your body and mind, you will be free of samsara.

Life is impermanent, just in the moment of exhalation.

Contemplating on the concept of Buddhism's birth and death

Luc Dai Tong Chi is:

1 - No painting: No painting is not even angry. A bit of anger is also not available. With anyone I do not get angry. If you don't get angry, you will be less discouraged. Once the defilement is over, wisdom will arise, and we will treat people with compassion.

2 - No greed: No greed nor greed; neither greed nor greed, anything we don't desire. Which should be "whatever you need, I'll give you that."

3 - No bridge: No need to pursue outside, things you should not have, you absolutely do not need.

4 - Unselfish: The reason why we cannot become a Buddha and fall into the three evil paths is selfish selfishness. If we don't have selfishness, then any poorness will not.

5 - No self-interest: We should not be for personal gain but disregard for tricks to do many illegal things, or to do things that harm others.

6 - No disappointment: That is to say the truth. We absolutely must not lie to others, or say words that sound sincere but are actually lies.

The Great Continent of the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas is me because the two teachers of "Three Sets of Bai" (three prostrations to one prostration) said. But until today they haven't done much. At the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas, everyone talks about the Six Great Principles. Who can practice in a complete way, then he will come out of the Three Realms, will become Buddha. If you cannot practice by yourself, then you should not complain that others did not help you.

My place of knowledge is in this continent. No matter what you do, if you can keep it according to the Six Great Principles, you will not create karma. Those are the basic dark conditions for becoming a Buddha; so, if we can do it, then the world will be peaceful. When there is no dispute between people and people, how can this world not be peaceful? Between people who are no longer greedy - I am not greedy for your things - nor are my greedy for surprises; At that time, everyone will live together in peace. Once people are not greedy, do not pray, not compete, not selfish, not self-interest, not expectation, the natural world will be peaceful and forever devoid of conflict. You who are studying Buddhism should first be fully aware of these basic conditions,END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSRALIA,SYDNEY.2/6/2020.
