Born in life, almost everyone wants to strive to achieve a happy life. Happiness in daily life is nothing more than the needs of material life or important positions in society, healthy and peaceful family ... But right before our eyes, how much paradox is life, what for an ordinary perspective is that they are unjust, the arrangements of the gods, and rarely they go to find the deepest source of the problem. So, what is the cause of inequality between human society? Why did this man grow up in a luxurious place, innocence and ignorance, one is immersed in poverty and the other is intelligent, one is poor and slow, the other is rich? There are people who get stuck in their whole life, What do people do smoothly? Why is this person a saintly great man, that person is a murderer? This person is a talented artist, mathematician, musician since birth, the other person was born blind deaf crippled? Does this person both see sympathy and the other both feel uncomfortable? ... For these unequal differences, there must be one or more causes or just a complete coincidence. ? No one can claim that this inequality is just blind luck or accidental coincidence. All one's enjoyment is due to causes, and this cause may be beyond our ordinary understanding. The invisible legitimate cause of visible phenomena may not be in the present but lurks in a near or far past. Is that person a murderer? This person is a talented artist, mathematician, musician since birth, the other person was born blind deaf crippled? Does this person both see sympathy and the other both feel uncomfortable? ... If limited within the relative range of the senses, it is possible that these inequalities are due to the causes of heredity and circumstances. But genetics and circumstances, no matter how much one may be involved in life, are not enough to explain the minor differences between people and people. For example, why twins who are very similar in physical form are brought up in the same situation where their temperament, thought, education, life are so opposite. Is there a certain supreme being who grants or rewards and creates society? Or in society just so casually so that there is no other reason? Or just purely wealthy descendants, wealthy, and the poor, they have to suffer miserable lives in life!
According to Buddhism, all the differences are different, not only due to heredity, surroundings and food, but most profoundly due to one's own karma. In other words, due to the wealth we inherit from the karma we have created in the past and created every moment of the present, combined. We are responsible for our own happiness or suffering (individual and collective) heaven or hell are all created by us. We are the crystallization of all the karma we have caused. According to Buddhism, the position of man is supreme. Man is his own teacher, and no one has the ability to judge their fate, because the Buddha taught:
"Young Brahmin, sentient beings are owners of karma, are heirs of karma; Karma is the fetus, karma is kin, karma is the factor of judgment ”{1, III, 481}
1. Reason for Selecting Subject:
In the human position despite great suffering, even if the karma changes, it is still conscious-at the beginning of the defaults, the other shore will appear. "The most mesmerizing momentary encounter" is the transcendental spirit that almost negates the role of karma for our people. Therefore, the Buddha taught sentient beings to be responsible for their own awareness and actions, to help people lead a way of life that does not depend on them, does not beg, does not shy away but has an optimistic way of life, has faith. into your ability to transform karma. That is why the author of the author chose the subject: "Man is the owner of the profession, the inheritance of karma" in order to clarify the teaching of karma to convey a few cruel and intellectual ideas not yet sharp enough to implement the doctrine. Karma. This is also the key and favorite of the writer in the learning process.
2. Topic Limit:
This is a Bachelor's Degree in Buddhist Studies, the number of pages is limited so for such a broad topic as people who are the owner of karma is the inheritance of karma, it cannot be developed. As far as conditions allow, this dissertation only gives a general outline of meaning and outlines some basic properties and applications of karma. Although the writer makes an effort to present with the chapters as outlined, it is probably only small strokes between the big panorama of Toniao and the Tipitaka such as Buddhism. However, in this place, the writer tries to find useful new things while presenting, which is the basis for developing the research direction later.
With the extremely practical values of karma teaching, the person who made this dissertation also tried to collect and collect materials and knowledge after four years from Venerable Venerable, Venerable Venerable, Venerable Tho He graciously taught, in order to show what he received from the Lord. However, it is not easy to learn about the teachings. Besides, in the limited capacity of a Sangha, the scope of the topic only revolves around the Inheritance of Karma and the Man Who Causes Karma.

CHAPTER 1: OVERVIEW OF INDUSTRY
1. Definition:
The Sanskrit karma is karman, Pali Kamma. Karma, in the true sense of the word, is action, or deed. According to the Dictionary of Nguyen, saying: What we have created is the nucleus (seed) so that we can take the fruit (left) called Karma. Karma says enough is karma The ultimate definition of karma is volition (cetana). Thoughts, words, and jobs, often arise due to the "will to do" that motivates them. Buddhism calls it the volitional action. All actions that are intentional, whether expressed by body, speech, or mind, create karma. All actions that are intentional, wholesome or unwholesome are created with karma. Unintentional actions, whether expressed by words or deeds, do not create karma.
And the Buddha taught: "O bhikkhus, the Tathagata confirms that it is the volition of karma. It is because of the will to have action, body, speech or mind" [2, III, 415]. Except for the actions of the Buddhas and Arhats, each intentional action is called karma. Although Buddhas and Arhats are still influenced by people who have sown in the past, they no longer create new karma because they have escaped from good and evil, eradicated ignorance. and craving are the two sources of karma. Ratana Sutta (The Triple Gem) records: "The seed germ (Khina-bija) has been eradicated, selfish desires no longer arise." [18,624]
This does not mean that Buddhas and Arhats are passive. They always actively work to create a peaceful and happy life for sentient beings. Their actions, often regarded as good, do not have the capacity to create karma. Understanding the true wall of all things, they break all those who bind beings in samsara, long chains of cause and effect.
The teachings of Karma or Buddhist Karmic retribution were introduced into Vietnam very early in the early second century CE. That teaching, of course, becomes a very clear religious life for a knowledgeable, thoughtful Vietnamese. Although people have not become Buddhists in terms of ritual initiation but they know the law of karma and retribution, of course they are Buddhists. Even children over the age of ten naturally know the sentence: evil and evil. They are very true statements about the situation happened to the opponent or run out of the sun from the sun. And going one step further, the karmic retribution for the common mind or understanding is twofold: They see karma as a destiny and the understanding of self-correction of old errors, evil and evil. good.
Some belief systems also recognize that all inequality in society is due to karma, but when it comes to karma, it is advocated that every action, whether or not it creates karma.
Following that policy, a person who kills his father, kills his mother intentionally or unintentionally commits the same serious crime. As for fire, whether accidentally or intentionally thrust into the fire must be burned equally, no more and no less.
Such arguments will of course lead to an irrational determinant. The baby in the womb, accidentally hurting the mother, or the mother unintentionally hurt the child in her heart, must also create akusala kamma? Besides, raising an event to explain a similar event, such as the case of a man who thrust his hand into fire and an evil person, is an unstable argument. “Moreover, according to the same argument, an unintentional evil act may be more harmful than an intentional evil act. In other words, it is less deliberate to do evil than it is unintentional, because according to the example of the person who put his hand in the fire, knowing that the hot fire the person who purposely has to be more reserved should be less hot. People who accidentally, because they did not intend before, could not prevent it in time, would have burned more. [18,316-317]
In the retribution of karma, the mind is of the utmost importance. All deeds, words and thoughts are influenced by the mind. When not subdued mind suddenly can not control the work, words, and thoughts. Subduing the mind means restraining body, speech and mind.
The Dhammapada has a saying:
Italy leads the Dharma,Italy mastered, created; If you mean pollution,Speak up or act,Suffering follows,Like a car, legs pulled. PC: 1Italy leads the Dharma,Italy mastered, created; If with a pure mind,Speak up or act,Bliss followed,Like the ball, not leaving the picture. PC: 2
One may wonder why an invisible object like the mind can cause disturbances to the material world. Actually nothing hard to understand. The very apparatus that is extremely powerful and capable of upsetting the modern world is only the product of rich minds. The invisible mind creates all the karmic effects of karma.
Karma is not necessarily just past actions, but encompasses past and present. Thus, in other words, how we are in the present depends on how we have acted in the past, and how we will act in the future depending on where they act. how we are in the present. Understand another way, we have to understand
add that in the present we are not completely how because in the past we have been like that and in the future we will not be completely depending on how we are in the present. The present is certainly the offspring of the past, at the same time the mother of the future. But in the extremely complex retribution of karma, one cannot look at the present but affirm the past and the future. For example, today's murderer could be a gentle person like the Saint of tomorrow. An ethical meek yesterday might become evil today vile.
As defined, karma is a volitinan action. In other words, karma is always rooted in the mind's creations, through the activities of the body, mouth, and mind, collectively known as the three karmas. "Therefore, an action (artifact), if not arising from the mind (mind), can not be called karma, but action is only called action or action only (kriyà). And so, the definition of karma is: volitional action, or action arising out of the mind. ”[28,165]
1.1. Basic Principles of Karma:
Self-fulfillment is the karma that we sow in our present or past life of doing good or bad, and we end up receiving a bitter or happy reward. There is no power or god punishing that action or enjoying it. In the Dhammapada verse, verse 19 says: "When the karma is sown, it will surely be lived, unable to flee anywhere, whether stuck in mountains or in the sky." So on the basis of the principle that there is a cause, there must be results, inevitably not running as we say two with two is four. That is the principle, not going into reality, many details must be listed. It is impossible for two cows and two potatoes to become four cows, but to have two fellow potatoes plus two new potatoes into four, so does the cow.
1.2. The Origin of Karma is the Heart.
In the Dhammapada, verse 1 says: "The mind leads all actions. Mind mastered. Mind artifacts everything. If we speak or do with the evil mind, then the suffering will follow the wheels of a tractor in the footsteps of a cow, ”and if we speak or do with the pure mind, happiness will follow the image (figure 2). That is the truth that spins throughout the universe. What are the effects of a bomb that kills a bunch of men, not from the makers' mind? The mind, the mind, the thoughts and the mind are invisible, but it produces all the karmic retribution. The volition is the smallest unit of a mind. Knowing where that source comes from, we know how to keep our mind directed to good karma, in order to reap good results for our life and y so we keep our mind to direct it to good karma, in order to reap the results. Good for our lives and for those around us.
1.3. The Origin of Karma:
Ignorance and love. Ignorance is the lack of proper understanding and clarity about life, which is craving for life. In life, we just act on that 99% instinctive way, that is, we will seize the firm karma string to tie our necks to the wheel of rebirth. Just like that we drifted immensely in the six sad sad realms. So to end the suffering of being reborn, you must know how to practice renunciation, gradually cut off all the stupid movements, cling too strongly to the sensual desire for sensual pleasure in this life.
1.4. Karma classification:
Normally, karma is created on the basis of body, speech and mind. Of course, all three of the above karma come from the mind or mind. Thus, when considering the karma of a person, it is the body, speech and mind. Apart from these three karma, there is no other karma. However, karma has different properties and functions, so they are classified into many categories and have many different names.
1.4.1 Classification 1 (by name):
In the first order, the teaching of karma is divided into two categories:
- Good karma: Thinking and acting on good things like practicing the Five Precepts and the Ten Good Realms.
-Pretty evil: Thinking about acting on good things like practicing things that are contrary to the Five Precepts and the Ten Good World.
From the two types of karma, we must consider the process of creating, thinking and acting to form karma (good or evil). Therefore, in terms of the process of karma, karma is divided into two more categories:
- Business people: The thought and action of creating karma has not yet brought about an outcome.
- Karma: The thoughts and actions created after a process has created karma, also known as karma or retribution.
In fact, when it comes to karma, Buddhists often focus on karma (karma) rather than karma. And this is the shortcoming of beings in the face of karma. And it is this that also makes sentient beings more interested in retribution than sowing. Karma or retribution is also known as karma.
1.4.2. Classification 2 (by progress):
There are two basic types of karma according to the process (from cause to effect) of karma:
-Directions:
It is the karma that is circulated in a stable time and from cause to effect unified together. For example, eggs that have been incubated for a while will hatch into chickens. In general, certain karma will result (such as eating will be full) is called karma.
- Uncertain karma:
Karma which does not lead to results, or results that will attain in an indefinite time, or may be between results and causes that are not completely in agreement, is called karma uncertainty.
1.4.3. Classification 3 (over time):
If based on time, we recognize two types of karma, one is mature and one is and will continue to progress in the created karmic lineage:
- Old karma:
Karma has been accumulated from many past lives, and now it is ripe. For example, our body (tall, short, fat, thin, intelligent, stupid, happy or unhappy, etc.) today is due to the karma that has been rooted in the beginning. The karmic retribution (karmic retribution) of this body is the result of karmic offenses from beginninglessness. Apart from this body, there is no other single, old karma.
- New karma:
If this body is an old karma, then all the artifacts that we are doing and will do today are due to the previous artifacts. And the success of tomorrow will depend on the thinking and actions of today.
The Buddha taught: "The eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind are old karma. The actions of the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind in the present are the new karma." [3, IV, 223-224]
In Truyện Kiều, poet Nguyễn Du pointed out the old and new career of man:
"That the bliss of being blessed
The source realm also comes from the heart
There is also God
Tu is happy, love is unjust "
Art and Phuc (good, evil) is the heavenly religion, but that religion of its origin is in the heart (mind, mind) that is born. And the sky here is the old karma, and we are the new karma.
1.4.4. Classification (by properties):
As stated, the karma is the ripeness (fruiting result) of the karma of akusala. Therefore, when it comes to karma (karma), it is the process of cause and effect of karma. According to the teaching on karma, one cannot produce a result, it must have auxiliary conditions. So, to say enough to say is cause - condition - effect. Dependent are the auxiliary causes making the main cause fruit; such as water, manure, soil, human diligence and diligence (as conditions) cause the seed to flourish. Therefore, when learning about the heterogeneous fruit (maturity) of karma, we must learn about the following three characteristics:
- Dizzy time: The maturity of karma is different from the time of creating karma. For example, a mango, the time when you are born until it is fully ripe (is different from the time when you are ripe).
- Heterozygous type: The result is metamorphic (anomalous) compared to the time of creating a new career. For example, mangoes are sour when young, but when ripe, sweet (degenerates and then ripens).
- Variable pediatric variables: Results metamorphosis and metamorphosis (mutations) compared with the time of creating new career. For example, young mangoes are green, until ripe, yellow.
1.4.5. Classification 5 (by capacity):
The capacity of karma is formed according to the different types of karma in a psychological process and then leads to the formation of the characteristics of karma.
- Karma: A karma practiced by a routine in daily life. Perhaps it is a habit of psychology, behavior, behavior, etc. For example, smoking is an industry practice.
-Attract karma: As karma is accumulated gradually like pouring water into the barrel, one can view our body as an accumulation of karma from beginningless time.
-Professional karma: are the karma that causes extremely strong and deep evil phenomena in human psychology such as committing crimes against the enemy (killing father, mother, killing Arhat, making Buddha's body blood, destroying the Sangha ). Committing crimes that cannot be repented.
- Near career karma: The karma at death or the psychological power of man before breathing stops. This karma is extremely important in guiding the karma to be reborn. The final thoughts of the dead will create a near death (good or bad). "A person can do evil all his life, but before he stops breathing, his effort to arise in the righteousness, in the goodness of his life, and through that will be reborn in the good realm (likewise the with the opposite case). From there, through near-death experiences, we need to gather the good deeds in our lives to create a power (mind) to eliminate the negative karma in our daily lives and even to the time of death. general". [26,297]
1.5. Nature of karma: Good karma, bad nature, no signs. However, only evil and good nature are karma, but countless signs are not powerful enough to produce results, so it is not called karma. But why call that good, evil, no sign?
Luan Ba Sa, 11, says: "If something is good or skillful, it is called good, if sensory retribution is not likable, unreliable is called evil; contrary to both things, then calling is unsigned ". [31,55}
Luan Xun says: "An okay karma or a sensual karmic retribution, and Nirvana, temporarily and permanently far away from misery are called good. Unsafe karma or an unwholesome karmic retribution called evil . And the left karma on the two names above is called infinite. ”This is based on the bravery to distinguish the three good, evil and no signs.
Karma is something that is close but also an extremely mysterious issue. Because of the complex nature of karma, it is difficult for ordinary people to realize it all. But all actions or everything in human life are governed by karma: "Being consciously taking karma as a being, being the continuity of kamma, taking karma as a pregnant mother, taking karma as a relative, taking karma as a basis, such discrimination is due to karma distribution ”[7,890]. In the endless cycle of living beings, karma is the decisive role in the rebirth life of a new life. And it is the karma that also decides to form the unique characteristics of a sentient being. Precisely because of the domination as well as the difference of karma, the lives of these beings have disagreements in every way of life even in thinking or in action. Because of such an endless career life, sentient beings are swept away in the cycle of reincarnation: "The world of medicine and karma transfer, sentiently bound by karma, as well as the wheel of medicine on the shaft that spins ”. [11,654]
In the A Hamlet, Buddha taught: "Sow whatever you reap." So, do we have to reap all the people who sow? Not necessarily like that. Because if all the karma that we have created that we have to receive, it is impossible to escape samsara. And sentient beings also cannot have the courage to practice the whole path of study to fulfill their wishes in the long run.
The Buddha taught, "If anyone thinks that man must reap the full consequences of all his past actions, he cannot have a moral life, and he cannot have the opportunity to eradicate defilements, but if it is said that the fruits must be reaped in proportion to the sown seed, there will be a moral life and people will have the opportunity to quell afflictions. " [2,294] Thus, according to Buddhism can shape and transform the karma. Buddha taught:
“Not in the sky, in the middle of the seaDo not flee to the mountainsNowhere in the worldEvading bad karma. " PC: 127
If one has to pay for all the karma created in the past, sentient beings must endure forever in suffering and cannot expect a day of liberation.
Although we do not fully master the Industry - because the cause has been sown - but we are not absolutely obliged to be slaves. Even the most despicable bad person can try to be morally clean. We are always transforming and always becoming something new, and that new thing is up to us, depending on our own actions. Every second, every minute we can convert ourselves, making us better, as well as worse. Even the most despicable sinner is not worthy.
On the contrary, we should give them confidence in their efforts to improve their innate nature. We should love and sympathize for them, maybe at any time in the past we were in the same situation with those bad people and we made progress. Today in a low position, they can also try to follow us and sometimes progress more than us.
Who knows the accumulated karma of another?
"Angulimala, the once famous murderer, killed thousands of his brothers, became an Arhat and escaped the fruit of those cruel acts.
Ms. Ambapali, a Gypsy girl who knows how to practice spiritually, also attained Arhat.
Alavaka, the violent yaksha who eats people, abandons his habits and tries to practice, also attains the Pratyeka Bodhisattva.
King Asoka (Ashoka) has a reputation for being cruel and violent, becoming a mighty ruler, exchanging fierce wars of aggression into campaigns that spread the sublime moral virtue and compassion teaching of the Buddha. , in pursuit of happiness for a part of humanity, and the contributions of the Abhidharma material are a very valuable document for researchers of Indian Buddhist history in general or the history of Thich Buddha. Ca in particular ”. [19,20]
It is a rare case that only through a mighty will a person be able to completely change his character, from bad to good, from evil to good.
In some other cases, it is also possible that the result of a weak cause is fully reborn, and the fruit of a strong cause is calmed.
The Buddha said: "O bhikkhus, the other does not know how to close himself to the discipline of the body, the morality, the mind, the intellect, the unethical, the poor, and thus, living misery." Even a trivial act of that person is enough to bring results into misery.
"O bhikkhus, that one has a materialistic and materialistic lifestyle as well as morally and intellectually, a noble man, knows how to do good and takes the mind of immeasurable treatment. with all beings. "
"Such a person, despite such a trivial act of misrepresentation, does not produce fruit in the present or the future.
"Like, there is a man who drops a spoon of salt into a bowl of water. O bhikkhus, what do you think? Can the water in the bowl become salty and difficult to drink?
- Bach Duc The Ton, yes.
- Why?
- Bach Duc The Ton, because the water in the bowl is small but put in a spoon of salt, it must be salty.
-Now, like the other person poured salt salt into the Ganges (Ganges), hey O bhikkhus, what do you think? Is the Ganges water salty because it became salty and difficult to drink?
- Bach Duc The Ton, no?
- Why?
- Bach Duc The Ton, because of the vast Ganges River, lots of water, just that much salt is not enough to make salt.
- It also seems like that, there are cases where the other person committed a small mistake and suffered. Other people also make a similar error but reap lighter results and after death, the other fruit does not give birth anymore, even slightly. "There may be cases where the other person is imprisoned for stealing half a penny, one penny, or one hundred pennies, and also in the other case he is not imprisoned for half a penny, a penny, or a hundred pennies.
"Who is imprisoned for half a penny, or a hundred cents?
"When people are poor, needy, or poor, even half a penny, a penny, or a hundred pennies is imprisoned.
"Who doesn't get jailed for half a penny, or a hundred pennies?
"When people are rich, abundant and wealthy, they are not imprisoned for half a penny, a penny, or a hundred pennies.
"In the same way, there are cases where the other person has only a few small acts of unwholesome actions to fall into misery, and there are cases where the other person commits the same mistake and does not have to reap any result in a lifetime. Now, that unwholesome action has no petty consequences after this life. " [7, I, 101]
CHAPTER 2: PEOPLE ARE THE OWNERS OF INDUSTRY
In the Majjhima Nikàya Sutta, the Buddha taught, "Man is the owner of karma, the heir of karma. Karma is the womb from which man was born; karma is a relative, a refuge [2, II, 77] Thus, the existence of every human being is at the same time the existence of kusala kamma and akusala kamma from the past. Each individual person is the central point. of karma, apart from that individual, there will not be any karma discussed.
Honestly, the General Nghiep says: “There are three types of karma: body, speech, and mind. What is created by the body is called karma ...; accumulate good and evil due to the so-called word of mouth ...; mind decided to kill sentient beings then accumulate good and evil called karma. "
2.1. Industry:
Sanskrit Kya-karman, Pàli Kya-kamma is one of three karma, only for the karma created from the body, can be divided into three categories: good, evil and no-sign; evil karma of the body ie only for killing, robbing, adultery; on the contrary, not killing, not stealing, not committing adultery, which is good karma of the body, not good or evil, and not feeling the power of karmic retribution, it is called karmic body. Career karma is distinguished again by career and non-career career. Karma is only for movements that are externally expressed, such as waving or shaking their hands, etc. Karma is only for those that do not show outside, but only emphasizing the nature of preventing evil, suspending charity.
“The Novel of Necessity Huu Huu said that the two karmas are the Fourth century. The policy of industrial career uses color as a body; Careerlessness takes the formlessness to do. Business, the policy advocates using the mind to do, Anonymous career use of racial as. Mahayana Mahayana also uses the actions of body and speech as a karma, the policy of the Career of the Unemployed Career is all simulated, it is not true, that is called the Industry is the manifestation of external actions. , and the manifestations of the simulated effects of birth and death, The manifestations of karma are the simulations created from the mind mind. Honestly, the Establishment of Industry can make non-beauty of France.
(They Assign A-Pi-Dam Qbook 5; Sentences Luan Luan 1, 13; Thanh Duy Thuc Luan Q 1; Dai Ty Ba Sa Quyen 113; Thuan Chanh Ly Luan Book 33; Thanh Luan Luan 7; Cau Xa Luan Quang Ky Book 13; Thanh Duy Thuc Luan Thuat Ky Book 2; [15,5497]
Only in regard to professionalism, there are many different views and guidelines. It is in human life that the body plays an important role in the creation of the human Diep. It is the actions of the human body that have created so much bad karma. The killing of life or cutting off the lives of sentient beings is considered a direct karmic deed. Although that karma must first be influenced by thought, whether or not thought becomes a reality is made by the body itself. It is due to the Karma that kills sentient beings that they must suffer catastrophic retribution in samsara. Not only ordinary people but also those who have the ability to practice when committing the crime of killing karma still receive terrible retribution, such as the story of Guru Enlightenment,
The same goes for theft, which is because of the crime of theft that beings in many lives have to suffer vile lives, or suffer in animals that suffer the sufferings of the body.
Not to kill sentient beings but to bring kindness to save sentient beings, the space of greed and theft also knows to bring material assets to alms to help people, not adultery but also virginity. Transform bad actions that stem from your body into beautiful, helpful actions for your own. It is this transformation that actively contributes to the purification of the Body in the present and future life.
2.2. Export of karma:
Sanskrit Vikkarman. The action of the mouth, that is the inner language, one of the three karmas. Password industry has two: Career career and career career. On this Mahayana and Hinayana advocate differently.
“The Theory of One Property, for the banner of karma to use sound as the entity, The manifestation of karma is excellent. Sincere Argument for Business Speech is the list of emulators, Involvement is non-professional, non-mind. Business and Duy Thuc advocate Business banners are sound emulators, taking "Tu" from the language career as a start. Anonymous career is also simulated, taking either good real or the function of real friendly or prevent good or prevent good in the "Private" seed can do ". (Part of them, Abhidharma thesis 5, Abhidharma Verse 1.13; Abhidharma Abhidharma Talk 3, Abhidharma Commentary Sa Sa 113, Luh Thanh Tru 7; Luh Thanh Thanh Thuc 1; Thanh Duy Thuc Luan Ky Ky 2, first part; Mahayana Chapter 7). [14,2283-2284]
Exporting karma also plays a decisive role in creating karma. From the mouth one can create negative karma that causes sentient beings to suffer from the results of suffering and suffering, but also from this speech causes sentient beings to achieve merits. If a person has a profit, then if he uses that profit to create blessing problems, in order to create blessings for himself and for him, that karma is a good profit for a person's uplifting life.
The same saying, sometimes makes people sublime and peaceful but also words that make people homeless. If words like that, it is harmful for themselves and for people.
The karmic retribution of karma also does not end, there are retribution suffered in animals, suffering the suffering of the body, being disgusted or repulsed ... And there are retribution of karma in life. This makes people the wonderful sound, whenever emitting words or language is much loved, to benefit many people.
2.3. Karma:
The Sanskrit Manas-Karman, one of the three karmas, has the meaning that karma depends on the King of Karma, that karma has a meaning to create, to broadly encompass all actions of good, evil or no-sign acts. Comment to the Book of Volume 13: "Thoughts are called karma, because thoughts have meaning to create, causing the mind to create good, evil, or unscrupulous ... so karma is synonymous with thought (thinking)." ). Again, according to Thanh Duy Thuc Luan Book 4 proposed, Tu can be divided into three categories: Justice judge, private decision, winning action. In which the Court and the same decision that similar artifact created art called karma. In addition, based on Mahayana Mahayana Ba La Da Kinh Kinh Book 7 records, karma has two types of mind: 1- Mind diligent, ie, the mind of bodhichitta, who practices good karma, is far from all. lazy minds, or just temporarily develop austerities and then rotten mind. " [15,3807]
The karma is very mysterious and extremely secretive. An action manifested through body and speech is due to the action of the mind. Without the direction of the mind, all actions will not work. If an action is done without the action of the mind, then it is not necessarily the career success as we have learned in the definition, that is a karma action intentionally. On the other hand, all the calculations in everyday life are all in the mainstream. It is also from the karma that people have different actions that lead to different births. From the deep hidden meanings, people can form great works to leave humanity with relics, ambitious schemes, sometimes they are buried in the mind for decades, until predestined enough weather conditions, the secret will be there. If you do not control the karma of humans, you can create evil karma at any time. Realizing the problem of transforming karma is really not an easy job, it requires people to have authentic works. Otherwise the disturbances of the mind cannot be perceived.
CHAPTER 3: INHERITANCE OF INDUSTRY
3.1. Inheriting Inheritance From The Past:
Righteous action, ie action, creates conditions for rebirth. The past karma facilitates rebirth in the present life. The present karma coordinates with the past karma, creating conditions for rebirth in a future life. The present is the offspring of the past and becomes the parent of the future.
The Sutta of Discrimination says:
"Young Subha white World Religion: Venerable Gotama, due to what cause, what predestined, between humans, when they are human, see someone paralyzed, there are pros? There are short-lived people, there are long-lived people? There are many people sick, some people less sick? There are beautiful people, there are ugly people, there are weak intellectuals, there are full intellectual people?
Young people, the sentient beings are the owners of karma, are the inheritance of karma, karma is fetus, karma is kin, karma is the fulcrum. Industry divided the types of sentient beings, that is paralyzed, superior. Here, young man, there is a woman or man who kills mercilessly, bloody hands, specialized in killing and hurting, and not compassionate for all kinds of beings. Due to that karma, when the body is ruined, it is born into the realms of evil, animals, and hell. Here, when the common life is reached by humans, wherever it is born, it must be short. But if there is a woman or a man who renounces killing, is merciful, lives mercifully to the happiness of all beings. Due to that karma, when the body is ruined, it is born in the animal world, in the world, in life. Here, when the common life if it goes to humanity, wherever it is born, it is longevity etc "[1, 473].
In the history of Buddhism, there are many tales that tell the cause and effect that we have done for ourselves. Ms. Thanh De, when she was alive, did many cruel, greedy and selfish things, never did merit, generosity, or helped the poor, so when she was destined to fall into the abyss of A-Ty, hungry ghosts, hungry hunger.
Or even the Buddha himself, there are karma that he has cultivated in past lives to the present life, he also receives results, such as the unjustly Devadatta Bhikkhu with the Buddha, rolling stones and bruising his feet of the Buddha, or Cincàmànavikà slander the Buddha, causing the drunk Nàlàgiri to try to rush to the Buddha. Here we emphasize the karma created in the past and lead to the present, those karmic retribution until the formation of the result, though any object must suffer. So in the sutras often say: "Bodhisattva is afraid of being afraid". Those who are not ignorant of cause and effect are those who are very afraid of cause and effect, because once created, it is very difficult to switch. Whereas ordinary people, when they do something, they rarely worry about people, until the bad people show results, then they are afraid and find ways to hide, but do not have it. We refer to the fruits that Buddha suffered in his modern life. However, the retribution did not affect much to Him.
According to the law of cause and effect, the joy or suffering of the beneficiary are due to good or bad causes by oneself, not by others, in the present or past lives. With our limited awareness and vision, we can only see in front of the fruit that is bearing and not see all the subtle causes that have produced that result, because they are not just causes cultivated in this life that may have been sown from many past lives. The Buddha called cause and effect three lifetimes, (which means many past lives, present lives and many future lives).
There is an intuitive sense of karma - an understanding that our happiness, and unhappiness depend on our actions and therefore we are fully responsible for our destiny - something This has put our lives in a powerful position. If we understand that everything, all without leaving a thing, happens due to a cause, we will understand what is safe. Thus, when there is suffering, conflict, danger, pain, or a problem occurring in our lives, we are not merely seeking to destroy it. It is better that we have the courage to change the conditions that create the environment for this to happen and nurture or maintain its existence.
Inheritance from the past is an indispensable consequence for beings, but not everything created by people in the past must be received in the present or future life. If there is such an absolute thing, beings cannot practice liberating samsara. And this was also enlightened by the Buddha:
"Who says this:" How does this person do karma, how does it feel like that? " If the event is like this, the Male-stilts, no life of virtuous life, no chance to clearly state suffering is eradicated. And hey, who says the following: "How does this person feel karma, how does it feel karmic retribution like that?" If the event is like this, the Male-stilts, during the life of a virtuous life, have the opportunity to clearly state suffering is eradicated. The Male-stilts, there are people who do small evil karma, and that karma takes it to hell. There are people who do the same small evil karma, and that bad karma brings feelings right now and to a little extent is not seen in the future. ” [2, I, 294]
Moreover, in the present life, it is not that people suffer all the sufferings due to the causes of the past. It is impossible to completely deny the present. Because the present is an important factor in human life:
"The Male-stilts, as for the Sa-Mon, Ba-la-Mon theory as follows, comments as follows:" What do you feel human beings get lost, suffering or not suffering not lost, all are by past karma. " For him, we come and say: "False religion, are there any damage, false religion have the following theory, opinion as follows:" What is the feeling of being lost, suffering or not suffering , all due to past karma? "- Asked by me, they answered:" Yes, there is. "- We tell them as follows:" Thus, the time of the false Religions due to karma the past will become slaughterers, thieves, adulterers, lies, etc. "but, monks, with those who come back based on past karma and real reason, with whom they will not there is desire, no effort, no "this is the right thing to do" or "
Through the above passage, we see that the Buddha criticized those who gave the past karma like a destiny. Necessarily whatever feelings, whatever actions in the present are all assumed by the past karma, then the present only follows the past. Killing, stealing, lying, etc., are all ordered by the past karma, but at present there is no responsibility. Then there is no choice: this is the thing to do, this is the thing not to do, this is the practice, this is not the practice; the time when the word Sa-mon, cultivator, became meaningless; because it cannot be said that this is an elaboration of a free will of choice, but rather a passivity to follow the wrong past karma, there is no merit at present. Human life, not just living for the past, but the important thing is just feeling what we did in the past to create the present life for happiness.
3.2. Inheritance Inheritance From Community:
People apart from their own karmic creation, their own karma also contributes to the birth or coexistence in a social community. Like a gentle person who chants the Buddha's recitation for the sake of dedicating his rebirth, the certainty that right after his death they will return to the realm of goodness or within the country of Buddha. If the life of a sentient being always creates negative karma, then surely after being born, they must turn into the scenes of suffering, vile.
Once falls into place, the government of that country, those who are living in that land, have most of their respective karmic causes. Therefore, after being born and growing together in a situation, the effects of the situation will greatly affect the life of every person in that country. While under the influence of many interrelated relationships, one thing of course happens that the arising of the problem of karma creation has the most in common. We can say otherwise that is also a form of karma from the community. Inheriting karma from the community is the impact of the community on the individual's self. At that time, the individual is no longer arbitrary or intentional according to his or her own thoughts but at the time depends on the social community. For example, living in the turbulent times of war. Almost all the boys have to go on duty to protect the country. It was those karmic affiliates that brought them to jobs that they themselves didn't want to do.
Another example will show us about the inheritance from the community, like a person born from a family of families, often their thoughtful actions are somewhat corresponding to the family in which they live. It is that that affects them and becomes their own karma. Besides, if a person living in a family situation is very complicated and has unwholesome activities, of course, it will greatly affect the lives of their descendants and it is the people who take the common karma now become the career of only me.
However, the problem of many people in the social community, intertwined with each individual's karma, makes the operation mechanism of the karma quite complicated, that only a saint like Buddha can understand the whole branch. , details: "With pure sight, far beyond the sight of humankind, We see how sentient beings die and be reborn, We see the noble and the poor, the excellent and the poor , each one follows his or her own karma to create that has a happy or unhappy fate. " [2, I, 294]
CHAPTER 4: INDUSTRIAL TRANSFORMATION PRACTICE
4.1. Cultivating Body: Bodywork: Bodily actions have 3:
4.1.1. Not to kill: It means not to destroy the life of every species, not to destroy oneself, not to be killed by others, to see others kill without being happy; On the contrary, Buddhists have to find ways to save sentient beings, such as buying birds, buying fish to free them to live freely, without the sight of fishes and cages. Fish reared in pots, birds locked in their hearts, even though they had enough to eat, but they did not have any freedom, unlike the human being imprisoned, we do not want to be imprisoned, why do we imprison them? , we want to be always free, we should buy birds and fish to let them be free.
4.1.2. Do not steal: Do not appropriate for yourself the possessions of others from land, houses, gardens, and vehicles are large objects for small objects such as needles, thread nor appropriation of others. People do not give consent, seek to appropriate, arbitrarily take and belong to theft. Using the power to usurp others is robbery, using cunning means to deceive people, until tax evasion also belongs to theft, all the wrong things like that do not do, on the contrary bring money of, our means to help sentient beings be at peace and contentment, it is alms making.
4.1.3. No sexual misconduct: That is, not living on a whim, playing, gambling, drinking, smoking books. On the contrary, it is necessary to practice pure sexual conduct, monks must forbid sexual misconduct, and lay married people must exercise, living only one husband and wife, clean from physical to spiritual. Deviant education is the root of birth and death, a Buddhist cultivator must stop giving up sexual misconduct to become a pure man.
4.2. Tu Khiep Nghiep: Export Karma: Belonging to karma is rough words, there are 4 ways:
4.2.1. Do not lie: Is not telling false statements such as:
-Not see see, see talk not see
-Listen to listen and listen and hear
- I don't know how to speak, I don't know how to speak
- Left to right, right to left.
When we meet a special case, we have to say untrue to save sentient beings' lives, we are forced to say, for example, there is a hunter chasing an animal, we see the way the animal runs, the hunter comes to see us. , ask if we see an animal running any way, to save the animal from death, we can say no. Thus, we have practiced compassion, the saying should not be said.
4.2.2. Do not speak cruel words: Do not swear at people, even if they are superior, have authority, like grandparents, parents should not rely on such power to scold people or descendants, even if the person has a mistake, on the contrary, use gentle words, teach people to see mistakes, to avoid next time.
4.2.3. Do not say embroidering: Should not add or subtract to say no, to say no, use odd words to make the story wrong with white to black, black to white, or use fancy or polished words to fascinate harming people, those things should not be done, on the contrary, they should say the right and true words with their hearts.
4.2.4. Do not say two-dimensional tongue: Should not say jibber, to A side to say bad side B, to side B bad side A, the purpose of dividing, making the two sides hostile. On the contrary, words should be used to neutralize all hostility.
4.3. Practicing karma: Thoughts and fantasies, there are three ways to create karma:
4.3.1. No desire: No desire for five sensual pleasures in life: Beauty, wealth, fame, sleep, eating and drinking. Greed for beauty consumes money, many times having to use bad machinations to lose human quality, when not satisfied, jealousy, hatred for killing, imprisonment. Greed for wealth must torment the body and make a lot of money, sometimes we have to use deep stratagem and poison to poison the winners. Taking part in fame and fortune must come in and be bowed, sometimes you have to work extremely hard to get the fanciful name. Gluttony delicacy makes the body more susceptible to illness. Greedy sleep makes the brain dull. The five sensual pleasures make people imprisoned and guilty, the main cause binding people in samsara. Not only the cultivator must know the sexuality but also know the contentment, that is, gradually limit the desire for desire,
4.3.2. No anger: Anger is a bad character, very harmful, it is like a strong fire, burning everything around both himself and him. In Buddhist scriptures, it is taught: A rebellion of anger will arise, all hundred thousand doors of karma will be opened. Flared angry one phen emitted, immediately burned all forest merit.
-Not mind suffering
-Not mind anger
-Don't mind scramble
-Consolate righteousness
- Be compassionate like Buddha
-Often to benefit peaceful beings
-The Prime Minister solemn, sentient beings
-Have the virtue of patience to quickly be born in the Brahma realm.
Because of the compassionate, compassionate mind, we are not angry when someone makes us angry, and those who make us feel angry, because they have little knowledge, so they do it. we should love them, only mercy can forgive others' faults.
4.3.3. No delusion:
Ignorance is the source of all sin, because delusion people do not distinguish right and wrong, do not identify right and wrong, accept their own understanding it obscures the truth and truth. People who are not infatuated are people who have wisdom, practice good karma, should contemplate the predestined being to eliminate ignorance and effort on the way to liberation.
Not being greedy but being compassionate towards everyone; not anger, but also to be humiliated, not wrong view that must be right understanding.
Therefore, the Tenfold Path has given a model for those who want to flourish in their religious life, it is important to try to practice the ten good karma. Those ten good karma are the transitions of karmic actions, speech, and karma:
"Hey Dragon King! He should know that the Bodhisattva has a dharma that can eliminate all suffering in evil ways. That day and night remember thinking, contemplating the good dhamma, making the good dhammas for each concept of each concept grow, not letting any unwholesome dhamma intervene, that dharma can cause the evil deeds to end forever. , goodness is filled, often close to the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and the Saints.
Saying that the good dharma, that is, the body of the heavens, the people, the Bodhi Bodhisattva, the Bodhichitta, and the Bodhi Bodhisattva, all rely on this dharma, taking it as the basis for achieving it. called good faith. This Dharma is the Ten Good Path.
So what are the ten things? It is forever away from killing, stealing, committing adultery, lying, speaking in two dimensions, speaking evil, speaking embodied, greed, hatred and wrong views. ” [20.35]
C- CONCLUSION
The Buddha himself in many passages also meant to remind the row of disciples who implicitly understand that karma is not a karma:
"but, monks, with those who come back based on past karma and real reason, with whom they will not there is desire, no effort, no "this is the right thing to do" or "
Through the passage just mentioned, the Buddha criticized those who gave the past karma like a destiny. All the sensations, whatever behavior in the present are also assumed by the past karma, then the present only turns to the past.
It should be noted that all karma must go through a certain period of time and have enough conditions for karma to mature. is still unhappy, but because we know how to cultivate regularly, we are still peaceful inside. The case in contrast to the above case is that someone, because his previous life created good karma, so this life meets a happy situation, but he does not know how to practice, now he creates evil karma, his inner heart is still suffering , not at peace. It is these two contradictory cases that ordinary people do not understand, so they do not believe in the theory of karma. Of course, some people in the previous generation created the evil karma, this life had an unhappy life, they did not cultivate, continue to follow the momentum of creating the bad karma, so both the outer and inner circumstances are suffering.
By understanding what is karma? How does the mechanism of karma work? One can move the past karma, restrict it, even eliminate it. The Buddha said, "Bhikkhus, if someone says a person has to bear karmic retribution according to his actions, then in this case monks, there will be no religious life, will not have the chance to eradicate all suffering, but, bhikkhus, if someone says that the retribution that a person suffers, adapts to his actions, then in that case, monks , there is a religious life, there is a chance to eradicate all suffering. " [2, I, 284-290]
"According to the Blessed One, the progression of karma is very complex, ordinary ordinary people can hardly comprehend the whole process of progress as well as the fruition of karma, and this Buddha also taught in the scriptures very well. ”[1, III, 473-498]
In summary, learning and practicing about Karma is an extremely important job in the life of a Buddha. Buddha's teachings will help us have a more comprehensive view of human life, especially oneself. Faithful teachings The karma will help us strengthen our beliefs in life and strive to cultivate our good roots in order to benefit ourselves and the social community. The more we understand the teachings of karma, the more we will thank the great virtue of Buddha. Beings in our realms, Karma piles up like Mount Meru, but the Buddha still appears in this muddy life full of evil years to educate sentient beings. Learning and practicing according to the teaching of karma, we have solutions in life which are full of injustices that people with normal intellect cannot explain. Thanks to the teaching of karma, people easily resolve the hatreds that have piled up for generations. So far in our present life, we cannot avoid the struggles in the troublesome market, but thanks to the understanding of karma, we also neutralize the hatred.
Karmic retribution shows: If the past influences our present life decisively, then the present life we live is an upwardly enlightened life guided by the Dharma, determine our glorious, peaceful, and happy future. That is without a doubt, because the present life is at our fingertips.
Understanding the Karma, the deeper we are to appreciate the profound and profound gifts of life, in which the gifts of parents are one of the most sacred and noble sources of love in the world, besides the more we think about their past. We have been grateful to our predecessors to look back to the future, the more we rethink what we have to do to deserve the meaning of life. Feeling and interacting for three times and harmonizing the gifts in life add flavor to life.
Therefore, the principle of karma is the basis of all things, whether the world or the world. And we are even more aware of the immense breadth of karma to sympathize with the Bodhisattva Bodhisattva through his words to begin the karma in the Commentary: "The world is vastly different, all due to where Karma was born! ". [29,158]
As long as the karma is created, the cycle of reincarnation goes on and on and on, and the karma keeps dragging sentient beings into ten thousand samsara of samsara. Creating karma and transforming karma are also caused by us, not by any god, who created karma or made us less karma.
Consciousness of training and transformation of Karma in order not to create negative karma to bear future karmic retribution, to actively cultivate good karma to reap good results. As long as the mind is no longer dependent on the cycle of attachment, there are no more lost attachments, and all realms will be absolutely peaceful. [13,113]
When right understanding of the Industry, it will really be the owner of the Industry, already the owner of the Industry, it can dictate his Industry, not a slave to the Industry. Understanding Karma we must often apply the Buddha's teachings in our daily life, especially the teachings of Karma, to transform Karma without being bound by karma. At the stage of birth without being polluted by life. Understanding Our Karma We do not lament when we encounter adversities, nor do we rejoice when we meet conditions, but we must know what is happening in the present, all due to the operation of karma. Only when we truly understand the teachings of the karma, then will karma no longer dominate us. The Buddha taught the teachings of karma to encourage people to practice good karma,END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.9/3/2020.
