THE FOURTH CONCEPT LESSON
(SIXTH FUNCTION)

This consciousness is based on the root consciousness (the 7 th consciousness) initiating the effect of distinguishing Dharma ceiling, so it is called "Consciousness".

Of the eight consciousnesses, this Friday consciousness is very agile and wiser, so in the eighth verse poem there is a saying: "The most exclusive of the dark souls" (there is a very agile formula). Thought to work right, this consciousness heads; and the calculation of artifacting evil, it is more than that. Therefore, in Duy consciousness says: "The offense, the offense" (Talking about "Gong", this consciousness is above all, and the argument about "Crime" is also the first). This consciousness also has the function of ego and Dharma.

One thing that students often wonder: Why is the sixth consciousness called "Consciousness", and the Saturday consciousness is also called "Consciousness"? In the Mahayana Dharma teachings on discourse of discourse, there is an explanation like this: The sixth consciousness which is called "Consciousness" because this consciousness is based on the "mind-essence" that initiates discrimination, should be called "Consciousness". Meaning of consciousness. "Consciousness" is paramedic, and "Italy" is mediated, two different parts. It is like saying "Consciousness", that is, consciousness of the Eye-door. So the base with different consciousness.

And Saturday consciousness is called "Consciousness"; the word "Italy" is arising and falling without interruption. Because this consciousness arises continuously and continuously without interruption, it is called "Consciousness". So "Consciousness" means "Italy" is no different. Like "Tang Dynasty", the word "Tang" is contained. Because this consciousness contains dhammas, it is called the "Tang Dynasty". So "consciousness" means that "Tang (contains) is no different.

WHEN AT THE PHU PHU, THIS IS FOR:

1. Three scenes: This consciousness has enough three scenes:

a) Nature, b) Toxic scenes, c) Nature scenes.

2. Three quantities: This consciousness has enough three:

a) Quantitative, b) Proportional, c) Non-quantitative.

3. Three nature: This consciousness has enough three nature:

a) Good nature, b) Evil nature, c) No sign.

4. The three realms: This consciousness has enough in the three realms:

a) Realms, b) realms, c) Realms.

5. Geography: This consciousness has enough of the nine realms:

6. Consciousness: This food has enough 51 Minds: 5 dishes of Onions, 5 Specials, 11 Good, 6 basic afflictions, 20 Discretionary Discretionary, 4 Indeterminate.

7. Nine conditions: Of the nine conditions, this consciousness has only five conditions: a) dependent conditions, b) charming conditions, c) predestined effects, d) basic conditions, e) kindness and conditions.

9. General: The General of this consciousness is rotated in the three realms (the three precepts of time and the agnostic moment).

10. Career: The use of this consciousness makes the body and the mouth create karma and fulfillment of karma to experience retribution in the three realms. And the three nature in the same year, the consciousness often changes always.

WHEN UP THE HOLY, THIS WAS FOR

1. Quan Hanh (tu): This Friday consciousness is not born, destroys ego and contemporaries, does not destroy the law.

2. Section or and position: This consciousness has five stages minus  or transformed into position:

a) To the Tu Luong,  then this new method conquered the current two items of ego.

b) Go to the director,  then this new method is two species of seed on the distinction of ego and legal accept.

c) At the position of the monk,  this consciousness is able to pass the two existing pieces and conquer the two sentient beings of ego and dhamma.

d) Up to the Faraway  , this mode will end all the ego and ego completely smuggled.

e) Go to the position of Enlightenment,  this consciousness ends the attachment, turning into the Noble Noble View.
3. Evidence and magic: When witnessing the Buddhahood, this consciousness transforms into the Noble Form of observing the mind and having the power to illuminate the basis of sentient beings in the Great Heavenly World, and then depending on the theory of legalization.

Wanting to make it easier for learners to remember, so in the Noble Eightfold Path, Xuanzang Mage did the following three recitations. The first two recitations said this consciousness while in the position of the Phàm phu, the third recitation says this awakening when the Holy fruit.

Tam Tanh, tam Luong tam Canh

Three realms of rotation di tri

Correspondingly the first real mental facility

Good and bad, provisional goodbye.

Translation

Three Nature, Three Quantities and three Scenes

Rotating the three realms is easy to know

The mind is equivalent to fifty-one

Good and evil come together.

THE SOLUTION

This Friday consciousness is sufficient for all three Nature, three Quality and three Scenes. It reincarnates in three realms very easy to know. The mental states that correspond to this consciousness have 51 dishes. When this consciousness thinks good deeds, there are good mental states of consciousness in coordination, and when thinking of evil deeds, there are separate mental states of malice.

Tanh, Gioi, Tho tam constant shift

Can, Sui, Tin similarly related

Dynamically speaking dark vi

Lead, skill and skill.

Translation

Nature, precepts and feelings are often changed

Can, Custom, Tin together in a row

Body, mouth said it more than anything

Career guidance, life expectancy retribution

THE SOLUTION

This consciousness for the three nature, three precepts and five life, it often changes; sometimes it makes me happy sometimes sad, ... 51 mental dishes, such as the root of defilements, custom afflictions and good mental states, ... together in succession never leave this consciousness. Makes body and mouth speak, only this consciousness is above all. It creates karma and karma to reward the next life.

When to mind the Hy Festival

Cu being falls, the law is still hidden

Far on after pure contraband

Observe the fullness of Dai Thien

THE SOLUTION

Practitioners while experiencing the Holy Cross, this c has three periods of negativity and pure smuggled.

1. When going to the topography, that is, the Festival of Hy, the distinction between ego and the dharma attachment has been passed. But the ego and ego are still present and contemplative in the Tang Dynasty, not able to conquer and eliminate.
