UNIVERSAL BUDDHISM 1

Course II: THIEN THUA BUDDHIST
Lesson 8: LEGISLATION.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.

A. OPENING
Cultivating the benefits of taking away living beings is the duty of the Bodhisattva.
Buddha was born to save sentient beings from the cycle of birth and death.
Buddhists following the Buddha's footsteps must practice doing what the Buddha did. While practicing spiritually, Buddhists should never be too focused on oneself to forget others, not just worrying about enlightenment for themselves but not seeking enlightenment for them. In Buddhism, we are one person, we are no different people, we cannot divide. The more you take care of your own self-interest, the more you will go against your practice. On the contrary, the more he sacrifices himself, the more he focuses on the benefits.
Buddha has countless methods to save sentient beings, we can apply any method we want. But in order to have specific results, we must depend on the inborn origin and ambition of sentient beings to choose the path of self-improvement and practice. For fellow human beings, we think that there is no effective method that practically benefits the people and makes people deeply inspired by the Four Dharma Method.
B. BACKGROUND
I. DEFINITIONS
What are the four regents? Ie four beneficial methods to photograph sentient beings back to Buddhism.
The four methods are:
- Alms photography
- Love photography
- Loi photography
- Collective photography
II. PRACTICE OF FRENCH LEGISLATION
1.  Alms photography:
A good or bad society, peace or chaos is not without cause. The cause of evil chaos is selfishness. Mankind is writhing in misery, where are the scenes of the chaos of the flesh, the recurrence of everyday life, if not the selfish greed?
Buddhism is a compassionate religion, meaning saving suffering. But what is the great suffering of man? These are material deprivation, mental confusion, and fear of all kinds of things, such as fear of losing money, losing one's life, having accidents, etc.
So people of compassion, to save suffering, must first let go of selfishness, must give people what they have, must give what others want. Means to do alms. Because of that alms, we admire the people around us, but the people around us are close to us and wish to learn the liberation. Alms has 3 ways:
Talented, French pilot and fearless pilot.
a) Talent: Money is money. Giving is giving money that alms, to save fellow people from suffering. The misery of sentient beings in terms of materiality cannot be described: the man who lacks rice, the one who lacks clothing, the person who lacks medicine, the one who lacks a place of refuge. own happiness, but on the contrary finds itself with the duty of giving, helping the poor and needy.
Don't make excuses, or console yourself, you are poor and don't have the money to help people around you. Actually, as long as I have mercy or not, I'm not completely lacking the means to help others. A cup of rice can still be divided in two, a manh mat still has room for one more person to lie down. It is often said: " Tightness in the stomach, not cramped ", that's the way. The millionaire gave five or seven thousand silver not to make people admire and cherish with the poor who only had two clothes, but gave away one.
b) Dharma: Dharma is the dharma, the teachings, the teachings of the Buddha and the sage monks, are the Tripitaka. Dharma is to bring those precious teachings to alms, to teach sentient beings.
Beings are fascinated, rhyming in the six realms, causing karma and feeling life, like being awake and then dreaming again. When dreaming, you know there is dream, just rolling on the road, like butterflies crashing into the lights. Therefore, the Buddha brought the teachings to make sentient beings out of the sea of samsara.
Buddha's Dharma is immeasurable, so much is high, so low is also enough, all sizes, all kinds of bases. Regardless of the country, frustrating, high or low base, light or dark, once listening to the Buddha's teachings, depending on the strength, it is understood. So in the sutta there is a saying: " Buddha's theory is one-sounding, sentient beings depending on the types of winning prizes ".
Let us not pretend that we are inferior to the Buddha Dharma, we cannot do the dharma work. As mentioned above, the Buddha Dharma has a multitude of disciplines. Every Buddhist at least knows how to chant, recite, worship, and fast. We give these things to people, that is the method. If we do these things with sincere, joyful, and sincere hearts, hoping that the people around us will come to the religion to benefit, then that method is more valuable than teaching high teachings with an attitude of indifference. stop or arrogant.
However, as Buddhists, we have an obligation to always cultivate and learn to understand more widely, to liberate ourselves and to make our legal work more effective, more widely available. and applications in all cases.
The more widespread the experiment, the more people tend to go to Buddhism and the less suffering there is in life.
c) Fearless: Fearless is fearless. Captain fear is to bring what is not afraid that give to beings. Fear is a very common mood for sentient beings in this transient and painful life. So people of compassion, must try to make the surrounding beings have the calm, peacefulness of the soul, not bewildered with worry and fear.
Fearless, not only those with courage, talent, authority can do it. Every day around us, so many people are in fear; if we really have the kindness to help them from fear then there is no time that it cannot be done: a child is terrified at the teeth of a fierce dog; an elderly woman, afraid of being run over by a car, did not dare to cross the street with so many cars; a girl who "fears ghosts" at night; a contestant trembling before the time of questioning etc .. that's how many chances we can practice fearlessness. Meeting people in accidents, we bring talents or forces to protect and protect them from fear; When I met the sick and worried about the death, I took the law of impermanence to explain to them and told them to recite the Buddha Quan Am Bodhisattva or Amitabha Buddha, etc.
In short, almsgiving is caused by infinite compassion. It has an incredibly extensive range. As long as there are beings suffering, we also give.
The highest form of almsgiving is alms giving, which means giving alot a lot without seeing yourself having almsgiving; alms without discrimination, intimacy, not accept us, people, enemies, friends; almsgiving without accepting the number of objects. So we have achieved the legal "Three-wheeled President" on giving. At that time, giving is no longer a blessing or a gift, but rather a natural thing, not to be missed, such as eating or drinking, as a daily duty.
So as a Buddhist, it is impossible not to practice almsgiving. This exercise depends on the means, talent, physical strength, and in any situation, it is possible to do it, not having to wait for certain conditions to be able to do it. As long as we try to help, save suffering for as long as that much.
2. Photography terminology:
Love photography is based on the nature of sentient beings that cleverly speak, comfort, admonish, and human beings make them give birth to affection, admiration, and then from there they follow us to study.
In the life of many people depend on, trust, for people to use words are not elegant, should make people around hate. Once they do not love, admire, but in front of their stomachs, yes yes, but their backs are not obeying and obeying. Therefore, many things must be damaged.
The proverb has a saying: " Words do not cost you money to buy, choose words that say to please each other ". Indeed, words are a treasure that everyone has in common, regardless of whether they are rich, poor, luxurious, or cowardly. But the same words one uses should work, and the other uses the failure. The reason for this is because one side knows how to choose words that are gentle, easy to listen to, and one side is rough and vulgar. Many people, defending themselves, often say: "My nature is upright and has a little heat, so I often talk loudly, but I don't mean it."
There is no malice, but it makes people around us suffer, uncomfortable because of their vulgar, crude words, how is it different from evil people?
So Buddhists, we want to convert and guide people around to the right path, first to apply the Dharma of loving kindness, that is, always and in all cases, to use soft, sweet, loving words love while interacting with people. Especially when people are in misery, the words of great advice and comfort are even more precious, because they can soothe wounds and make people extremely grateful and hard to fade away. fuzzy okay.
3. Taking advantage of photography
Taking advantage of photography is to benefit people with thoughts, words, or actions, making people born with affection and follow us.
The brightest example in terms of profitability is the example of His Holiness the Bodhisattva. Throughout his life, he often carried earthworks, gave it flat, or bridged it so that pedestrians could travel easily and conveniently. He replaced the burden of the elderly, pushed the carriage up the slope, rowing helped the boat driver to reverse the water ...
In short, no matter how big or small, as long as it is helpful to him, he will never be in trouble. Seeing that, there is no need to wait for sufficient means to benefit those who are. Just a little health can help a lot for the benefit already.
Sometimes just a good thought, a good introduction can help people around have jobs.
For the rich, more means, the range of activities for profitability is even more widespread. They can raise money to make a nursing home, support the elderly and weak people, so that their old age will be less dark and dangerous; or they build him an education, raise orphaned parents, give them an education and a career, train them to be useful citizens. Or to set up a hospice, provide food for the poor, or build a infirmary to cure the sick; or build a school to help your child have a place to study. That is how much work is extremely beneficial, both for life and for religion. Those good works will turn people's hearts and lead them back to the path of liberation, the path of Buddhism.
4. Collective photographer:
Colleague's photography is based on the basis of ambition, ambition, position and occupation of the person who rolls into their work, cooperates with them, to one-sidedly assist them in their careers, on the one hand to uphold good examples, make them love and follow me to the whole religion.
For example, when we work in an office, in an enterprise, in the marketplace or in agriculture, from big to small things, from thoughts to sayings, we always set a moral example. , wholeheartedly working hard, willingly sacrificing your rights, giving colleagues, gradually associates, will inject our good qualities, be ready to listen, and follow our advice Bao.
But with a photographer, we can provide practical and regular help to people living in the same situation or profession with us. We are always close to them, so we understand their ambitions, their moods and their needs; so we can help them more effectively. I become a main pillar for them to rely on; so we can photograph them easily, more deeply. A common observation is that where, office or private, factory or farm, whenever there is a true, sincere, exemplary Buddhist, there are more and more followers of Buddha .
III. BENEFITS OF FRENCH LEGISLATION
If we practice correctly according to the four dharmas, we will see the following beautiful results:
1. Personally:
I will be an exemplary person; every thought, every word, every action we make is a seed of goodness sown into the field of blessing that we will later reap precious, good results. Everything we say and do is understood, agreed and admired. We can attract people's hearts easily, widely, and whenever we go, we are welcomed sincerely, warmly. Therefore, we will easily succeed in everything.
2. In terms of family
When strangers and strangers still love and love us, how can parents, wives, children, brothers and sisters who do not love us? Due to our good influence and prestige, everyone in the family has become pure and virtuous. And a family of such members, it is possible to be on the peace and harmony, warm and quiet, which means happiness.
3. Socially:
A practitioner of the four regimes has also made a good influence and transformed a part of social situations. The more people practice the four faculties, the more society is improved, and become pure and good.
People often blame Buddhism for being cynical negative. Those wrong criticisms, just proving one teaching of the four dharma teachings proves enough to knock down immediately. Indeed, if the four regimes are thoroughly applied in real life, the society will be greatly improved.
C. CONCLUSION
As mentioned above, the four faculties is a method to improve society in the most effective way. It takes the benefit of being as the basis, taking the happiness of sentient beings as its purpose. Here let us recall every single one:
1) Bring wealth to the needy and handicapped, teach the Buddha Dharma to speak for everyone to improve their goodness, and bring spiritual or material courage to protect those around them from fear.
2) Speak gentle and gentle words, to convert people to follow a good path.
3) Please benefit everyone in all cases.
4) Be immersed in life, in the work of those around you, to realize their earnest needs, to help them effectively, and to gradually bring them back to the main path.
So as Buddhists, we cannot be indifferent to those beneficial calls.
If we turn a blind eye, we are not true Buddhists, because we have lacked the two most important elements to practice: compassion and compassion. Without these two points, we can never progress on the path and become a Buddha..END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.4/1/2020.
