Lesson 8:  TEN RELIGION OF BUDDHISM IN CHINESE (CONTINUED)
RELIGION or PROPERTY RELIGION  .VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.

I. STARTING UP TON RESERVATION
This Ton belongs to the Hinayana, originating from the Commentary on commentary of Lord The Body. The commentary on the verse is based on the meaning of the Mahāvibhasacastra sutta. The Commentary sentence was translated and transmitted to Tran Chan De early, but later lost. In this early stage, the verse verse had not yet become a separate sect in China. It was only when Xuanzang went to reclaim the scriptures in India, and translated the verse of Ex verse and his disciple, the Great Master Pho Quang, based on the above-mentioned treatise, which produced the "Sentinel Technique", and Dharma Bao pretended to be "The Synthesis of Judgment", then the new verse became a religion and was practiced in China. But after the end of the Tang Dynasty (from the beginning of the 7th century to the end of the 9th century), this religion gradually waned and ceded an important position to other Mahayana sects.
II. RELIGION AND BASIC TEACHING
1. Mandate:  This principle advocates "selflessness", meaning that it is not true but true.
For other religions, the policy has a true self, the most common celebrant, an immutable soul, in spite of everything changing, living or dead. According to the Excellency, such a self is not possible, because everything in the universe, including humans, is false, but it does not have anything homogeneous and immutable. This is also the general policy of other sects in Buddhism. The difference between verse religious and other religions is: verse religious advocates French righteousness, while other sects say that Dharma is not. Dharma, that is, the true being of things, or to put it more simply, the material that gives birth to things in the universe, is often there, is real. For example: People do not have real self, but the materials to make people, such as the five aggregates, the four elements are real.
2. Cosmic view:  Cau Xa Ton distinguishes the universe from the right of being and the lawlessness. Organic measures only phenomena in the world phenomenon, there is birth and death, transformation. Vi vi France only about the realm of permanent existence, not being destroyed, changes, that is just about the physical.
Organic property measures include 72 items, and non-law measures include 3 items, plus a total of 75 dishes, or 75 measures.
TALK ABOUT 75 FRENCH

Within the narrow scope of the booklet, we cannot go into depth to explain each of them. However, in order to have an idea of those types of dharma, we briefly outline the following:
Chromatography:  Every female can be corrupted and have an obstacle-nature. Of the 11 dishes that belong to the rupa, including the five bases and the five scenes, the readers already know that there is no need to solve it; and the eleventh dish is irresistible and needs to be explained. Colorless form is the materiality which does not manifest itself (dharmakaya), it is the object of mind-door.
Psychology:  Also called Tam Vuong, because it has the ability to take the initiative as the king has the right to advocate in a country. Consciousness has three names: Mind, consciousness and consciousness. According to the Commentary, "the group that contributes to practices is called mind; thought called thought; the distinction is called consciousness ”.
The mental  mentality : is the legal possession of the king's dependency, such as the dependent officials under the king's command, or the dependent employees under the control of the boss.
The practice of  inequality : It can be referred to as the law of inequality, that is, the dhammas are not entirely of rupa, nor of the mind, but the result of the contact between mind and matter. For example, the "gain" is an incompatible dharma. When we have something, that "gain" does not belong to materiality, nor to the mind. "What we get" is the rupa, the "joy" of being the dharma center, and the "gain" cannot be classified as rupa or dharma dharma, hence the so-called executive correspondence.
Invisible method:  That is the method that does not arise, changes, goes beyond the treatment. The micro include three measures are: kill invisible, non-kill and non-emptiness.
This seventy-five dharma includes all things in the universe.
Things in the universe are divided into two broad categories: worldly sentiments and worldly temperament.
- Friendship in the world means all beings, there is life.
- Worldly air means the situation in which sentient beings rely on to live as sandy soil, mountains, houses, etc.
In terms of time, the universe is nothingness, meaning that there is no beginning and no end, but only change and change. In the universe there are thousands of sa worlds, this world becomes, the other world is corrupted, interchangeable. However, each world alone, from birth to destruction, must go through four stages (city, pillar, vandalism, zero) including one great life, that is one thousand two hundred and eighty million years (1,280. 000,000).
In terms of space, the vast universe is unthinkable. First, the smallest unit of the universe is the world (like the small world we are here in).
Meeting a thousand new worlds to become a micro-world; meeting a thousand new world celestial beings into a world paradise; gather a thousand new celestial worlds into a great world heaven. So a great world consists of (1,000x1,000x1,000) a thousand million small worlds (like the world we are here). But in the universe, there is not only one great world heaven but a multitude of great world heaven; Therefore, in the sutras, it is often said that: the world's 10 directions of the mundane world (the ten directions of the world are as much as the dust) or the directions of the world, the constant mass of the world (the ten directions of the world are as much as the sand of the Ganges River).
In terms of quality, the universe is divided into three different levels, high and low, also known as the three realms, or the three realms: sex, gender, colorless.
Sexuality is the realm of sentient beings that are not far from being lewd and sexually. In the sex world there are six types of beings, namely, celestial, animal, astral, animal, hungry ghost, hell.
Lust is the realm of sentient beings with the beautiful shape, has left lust and reality. This realm has four energies: Ly being happy with the joyful place, Dinh being happy with the craving, Ly happy with the bliss and being recited by purifying the mind.
Colorless world is the realm of no form. The sentient beings born in this world only have consciousness. The realm is also divided into four stages, high and low, often called the four heavenly objects: No boundless land, No possessive land, and Phi unreal thought.
3. Human beings view:  Beings in general, and humans in particular, where did it come from? And how valuable is the life of sentient beings?
a) According to the Question of Religion, sentient beings are turned around within samsaric existence, due to the "karmic affinity of dependent origination", that is to say, by enchanting karma, by creating karma as a cause, and feeling the fruits. newspaper.
How to call or? They mean delusion, not lucidity, not knowing where is right, where is the fruit of ignorance, delusion. Or there are two types: either or and custom or. Duty or rooted delusion, also known as the basic afflictions, such as greed, hatred, delusion, ignorance, suspicion, ants. Depending on whether or not the delusion is based on the duty or that arises, it is also called the option of defilement.
Of the six deities or the aforementioned, the five or the first: greed, hatred, delusion, ignorance, suspicion, because of the nature of flood, deep in the roots of our hearts, it is very difficult to eliminate, so we call it five-syllable history ( history is false history, instigating history; these or others cause a latent, hidden sentient beings make sentient beings vicious in delusion, so called false history).
Also, or the sixth is the ants, because its nature is agile, does not root deep in the mind and is easy to eradicate, so called advantage. Ants or advantages include five things: The View, The View, The Evil View, The Ant, and the Restricted World.
Vision:  is the wrong way to accept that the body made of the five aggregates is true.
Opinion:  is the wrong accept that this body is already dead, then completely destroyed, there is nothing (paragraph) or vice versa, accept this body is dead, the soul remains forever (often). These attachments completely lose the middle path, so called boundary.
Wrong view:  is the clinging to the vague morality and disregard of the reasons for being chon.
Ants:  is an attachment to his wrong interpretation, but does not follow the life of the saints.
Prohibition precepts:  is holding the wrong precepts like the ascetic precepts of the pagan, etc.
Due to the aforementioned obligations and opinions, sentient beings create karmic causes, cause and effect each other, and cause sentient beings to turn forever in samsara. Karma has three things: karma, that is, thought and action of thought; karma, ie speech; body, ie physical actions.
Karma has three characteristics: good, evil and unscrupulous (meaning average, not good, not evil). Good karma has good retribution, bad karma has retribution. As for unsigned karma, there is no bad retribution.
Good karma, like bad karma, has ten things:
The ten evil karmas are: murder, theft, adultery, lie, fabrication, division, cruelty, greed, anger, delusion.
Ten good karma are: no killing, no stealing, no adultery, no lies, no fabrication, no division, no cruelty, no greed, no anger, no delusion.
The retribution of the ten good karma and the ten bad karma are quick and slow, meaning that sometimes they happen in one life, sometimes two or three after the next karmic retribution.
When the period of result is determined, the so-called karma. On the contrary, it is called indeterminate career. Uncertainty karma has two things: one is a set of retribution that the period of retribution is not set; two is both the retribution and the period of retribution are not set.
b) Above is saying the reason why beings are present in this world. Below, we will talk about the value of that presence in the concept of the verse, which is the concept of Theravada Buddhism.
That concept, is no stranger to us. That is the world is a sea of suffering, in which beings are diving, drifting, dying. People suffer because of birth, old age, sickness and death. People suffer because of love, but they must be apart and hate each other, but must live together, wanting a way but actually taking a different path. People suffer because of disasters, water accidents: storms, floods, wars, robberies, etc. People suffer because of living in a dim, dark situation, not knowing what is true, what is false, what is happiness. true happiness, where is the false illusion. People suffer because of longing for life and impermanence, always changing, there is not there, and there is lost, like a delusion. People suffer because they think that there is a true self that is the core of life, homogeneous, free and self-doubting, that self is false, unreal, and governed by circumstances. .
In short, life is a pool of suffering made of tears of all beings.
III. METHOD OF COMPLIANCE
1. The Four Noble Truths
Want liberation out of the immense pool of life, Cau Xa religious advocates to practice according to the "Four Noble Truths". The four miraculous truths are the four truths that lead the austerities from delusion to plight, from the realms of My suffering, to the realm of pure Nirvana.
- The first Noble Truth shows to austerities that life is suffering.
- The second Noble Truth shows to the austerities the cause of suffering in My Sisters realms.
- The third Noble Truth shows the realm of bliss after coming out of suffering.
- The fourth Noble Truth indicates the path of austerities to go to the peaceful realm of Nirvana.
Four Noble Truths ie: suffering, practicing, killing, directing so.
2. Twelve charming conditions
With the cunning faculties, one can practice the Twelve Beautiful Causes. The Twelve Causes and conditions are 12 successive conditions, one after another, as causes and effects, causing sentient beings to be forever rotating in the sea of samsaric suffering. Twelve conditions are: ignorance, onions, consciousness, materiality, six doors, contact, sensuality, craving, attachment, friendship, birth, and death. These twelve conditions are like twelve chains connected together to form a chain, not knowing which is the beginning and which is the end. If a chain is cut off, the chain must be cut off. For austerities who want to end samsara, the chain that needs to be cut off is "love." Loving here means attachment. Because of attachment should have their own prime, then "prime" born "property". And from there, the cycle of birth and death recurs. So without "loving", there is no "being", without "being" there is no "being",
IV. TOO TU TUAN
1. The practitioner follows the Four Noble Truths , if he is very quick, he will have to go through three lifetimes, and if he is slow, he must go through 60 lifetimes, in order to prove A la Han, is the highest realm of Thanh Van.
Before witnessing the Arahantship, the practitioner sequentially witnesses the following fruits:
Tu da completed , Chinese translation is entered Save, or reserve, that means starting to enter the line.
From Da function , the Chinese translation is Nhat Lai, meaning that one must be reincarnated in the Realms of Education one more time, to practice for the ultimate, before permanently leaving this realm.
A na function , Chinese translation is Real-lai, meaning no longer have to reincarnate in the realms of sex anymore. Out of this frustration is the result of Arhat.
A la Han , Chinese translation is Ung cozy or Unborn, that is to eliminate the delusion in the realms of gender identity and formlessness, no longer suffering, no longer bear samsara, beyond the three realms, enjoy the offerings of heaven and earth. This step is called the Uneducated level, meaning that it is not necessary to study any dharma.
2. For the path of Pratyekabuddha , that is, the way to practice according to the path of 12 conditions, then the result is not divided into many stages. of the practice is the Pratyekabuava result. When cultivating fully, ending delusion, witnessing the truth, often enjoying the joy of liberation in Nirvana, it is called Pratyekabuddha. The witness of this fruit is called Pratyekabuddha, that is, the Buddha liberated himself, but he could not be forgiven. From the beginning of the practice until the attainment of Pratyekabuddha, the length of time varies according to the practitioner's inborn power: with the cunning faculties at least four generations of cultivation are required; with the base of slow flood, you have to go through 100 austerities of spiritual practice.
V. CONCLUSION
Xá religious, although only a sect of many sects of Hinayana, but can almost fully represent the Theravada Buddhism. Therefore, the verse of Religion, we can understand quite thoroughly the basic teachings and practices of Theravada in the ancient past.
But since this religion was established in China until now, time has passed more than a thousand years. During that time, there must be many changes in details. We regret that there are not many documents to fully study the changes of this religion over time and its existence in the present. Therefore, we strongly recommend that readers view this article as a study of one of the ten religions in China, rather than a complete "direct" path, directly guiding you. into cultivation. We would like to say that if you see your inborn quality in accordance with the Hinayana teachings, and want to embark on your cultivation, then you also need to read more and study until you arrive, to avoid getting lost. wrong direction. .END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.12/1/2020.
