A. OPENING
Of the 37 patrons, the five sense faculties and the Five Faculties are precious methods, just as important as other dharmas; can take the austerities from ordinary status to the Saints of the three vehicles. They are solemn costume, is an effective means to help people go straight on the path of spiritual cultivation, fruit. So Buddhists we cannot help but know to practice.
B. BACKGROUND
I. DEFINITION OF CULTURE
The five faculties are the five bases. This is the basis, is the root, is the source for all goodness to arise.
Luan Tri Do, tenth volume, explained that: "The five faculties are the basis for arising all of the good dhammas, so called the five senses ". The five bases are: Tin base, Tan base, Mind base, Dinh root and Hue base.
II. INGREDIENTS AND CONTENT
1. Belief: is a strong belief. This belief is not the same as blind, unconditional faith, despite the rationality of many non-religious people. Faith here is the offspring of reason, the result of good inference, and careful observation. The Buddha never forced Buddhists to believe something that could not be deduced or explained. Because the belief of Buddhists arises from judging. Therefore, it is extremely solid and intense. It is itself the basis of the arising of virtues, Buddha taught: " Believing is the immeasurable mother of merit ." But what do Buddhists believe? Buddhists believe in the Three Jewels:
- Believing Buddha: Buddhists know that Buddha is a fully enlightened being. Therefore, Buddhists throughout their life believe in Buddha, towards the enlightenment, liberation that Buddha has witnessed.
- Believing Dharma: Dharma is truth, is the truth that Buddha discovered and passed on to us. In other words, Dharma is the true teaching that Buddha explained. We believe in those teachings, because the person who spoke them was the Buddha, who was able to witness them and enlighten them through them.
- Tin Sangha: The Sangha is a person who practices the teachings of Buddha to enlighten himself and him, who replaces the Buddha with a bright Dharma torch, to light the way for sentient beings. Therefore, lifelong Buddhists are oriented towards the Sangha.
2. Attack: Tons are diligence. Radical energy is the courage and effort on the path of practice that never recovers. If there is firm faith without diligence in doing what we believe, then such trust becomes useless, leading us nowhere.
Therefore, Buddhists who believe in the Triple Gem must always diligently practice the teachings of the Buddha. According to Mahayana, there are three things:
- Being diligent in armor: Means wearing sophisticated armor. Buddhists in the fight to eradicate suffering, towards liberation, need to wear diligent armor, so that when storming into the battle of "afflictions", from being harmed by ghosts. Thanks to this armor, the Buddhists believe in their ability to bravely advance, without fear of danger, and without retreating from any obstacles or opponents.
- Diligent conduct: It means always trying to never rest on the way to liberation. With this diligence, the more Buddhists advance, the more energetic, the more excited they will never get tired.
- Hy hui enough diligence effort : Hy Hy arduous effort means not happy complacent, that is just enough when a new victory is a little bit on the path of practice. Buddhists have not yet attained Buddhahood, but they still work hard to cultivate forever, not stopping, enjoying a low, temporary, like a pedestrian before the final destination. energetically striving forever, rather than ending your journey, by staying in the motel forever.
3. Mindfulness: Mindfulness is memorizing. Remember what?
a) First, mindfulness of giving: meaning remember to practice giving. Buddhists often remember to give alms to the poor; bringing mighty power to help those who are afraid; bring the Dharma to educate the ignorant, make them all happy.
b) The second is reciting the precepts: remembering to recite the precepts of the precepts to eliminate the disturbing karmic afflictions and to increase the happiness. About three things:
- Virtuous law: The precepts to prohibit the bad karma, eradicate the karma of body and mind.
- Photographers of the Dharma Realm: The right things and the benefits, who practice according to it, can accomplish all the good dhammas.
- Many useful worldly interests: The laws that benefit the welfare of all sentient beings.
c) The third concept of recitation: The Mahayana Mahayana says: " The mindfulness of abiding is the abiding of four meditation dishes ". So mindfulness is to remember to meditate, to clear away all disturbing emotions, such as legs.
4. Dinh radical: Dinh or net translated by the meaning of Sanskrit is Dhyana (Zen na). Concentration is peace of mind, focusing on the Dharma, to reflect its true meaning. According to Mahayana Mahayana, concentration can be divided into three levels:
- An abiding concentration: In order for the mind to settle in the concentration, not to move, so defilements are eliminated.
- Leading to pronounce: Because the cleanliness of negativity should be born six magical powers are the merits of victory.
- The composition of work: Because arose the merit, magical power, so often benefit all sentient beings; saving sentient beings liberating samsara, which is Nirvana.
5. Hue based: Hue is wise, penetrating the truth of all things. That wisdom has no discrimination, because discrimination is the effect of knowledge and delusion. Also according to Mahayana Mahayana, wisdom has three things:
- Indistinguishable happy family: This position no longer sees discrimination, but there is also happiness, that is, we still have to use austerities to achieve complete disparity. Therefore, it should be called "Indistinguishable family happiness".
- Non- discriminatory wisdom: This wisdom has no discrimination, without virtue, because it is mature. Do not distinguish should not be delirious. Thanks to this wisdom, spiritual practitioners are free to witness as true.
- Irrespective of the privileged post-position : Or the post-privileged position, meaning that the wisdom gained after it has been proved as true. This wisdom is completely lucid, realizing the true meaning of the dhammas. Buddhas, thanks to this post-attainment, exert immeasurable merit, to save sentient beings.
In a simple, general way, hue root is the wisdom due to meditation that silences the delusions and discrimination that arise. It communicates the truth of things; it is the root of all great things to liberate sentient beings.
III. DEFINITIONS FORCE
The five forces are the five great energies, the five forces of the five faculties. In a nutshell, the five faculties are like five arms, and the five forces are the power of those five arms.
IV. INGREDIENTS AND CONTENTS OF MILITARY
1. Faith: that is, the divine power of faith, or the great and wonderful power generated by faith.
2. Ton force: ie the divine power of diligence, or the power of any rotten, solid, can level all obstacles, this power is caused by tons.
3. Mindfulness of power: that is, the force of mindfulness , or the great strength of mindfulness.
4. Concentration: that is, the divine power of the ideological concentration or the great power of concentration.
5. Hue force: ie divine power of wisdom or boundless power of wisdom.
In general, these powers are the result of the cultivation of the five sense faculties. It was like a fire that started after people tried to rub two firewood together to get fire.
C. CONCLUSION
The use of the Five Faculties and the Five Forces
As we have seen above, the Five Faculties and the Five Forces are both the basis and the energy to generate and grow immeasurable merit.
Regardless of whoever, everyone who has taken the mind as the basis, really diligent administrative dhamma (tons), constantly remembers dhamma for progressing (reciting), concentrating thoughts to eliminate ignorance (negativity), bring marvelous wisdom to distinguish (hue) to prove that, as such, he will surely hold in the hands of the supreme Bodhi fruit. Why? Because he had great forces (the five forces) created by the five senses. With these five forces, practitioners like pedestrians have enough flexible and magical means to cross the forest, cross the sea and reach the final destination. The final destination of a practitioner who follows the Dharma is to become a Buddha. To this end, he is the light of sentient beings, the blessed field for sentient beings to sow peaceful seeds. It is this person who has enough magical power to make sentient beings become completely liberated, fully enlightened.
The result of the five senses and the great and precious contingent force like that, we cannot help but follow these two disciplines.
