UNIVERSAL BUDDHISM 2
SRAMANA=THICH THIEN HOA.
COURSE V:  HISTORY OF BUDDHISM,
10 RELIGIOUS AND UNIVERSE OF CHILDREN
Lesson 7:  TEN RELIGION OF BUDDHISM IN CHINA (CONTINUED)
KNOWLEDGE RELIGION or LEGAL PROSPECTUS  .VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.

I. STARTING UP TON RESERVATION
All sentient beings from beginningless to present, because accept is true, true-legal that created the industry, and then led by the industry should rotate forever following the wheel of birth and death.
If man clearly understands that all phenomena in the universe, the cause and the self are not real, just due to the manifestation, like the scene in a dream, that is no longer disturbing or creating bad karma. , then all is no longer bound in the wheel of birth and death.
In order to break down the two real attachments and the true dharma, the Buddha has many methods, there are many dharma methods, and Duy Duy religious or Dharma general religious is a very necessary and very effective practice to arrive -sign.
II. DEFINITIONS
Religion belongs to Mahayana, separating the universe, all things are due to wake up.
The only consciousness, or the Dharma General, as the noun designates, does not talk about the mind nature of the feet, but only the general of consciousness, which is also the general of the dharma. Knowing that from the feet of harmony turn into the form of A-da-da, then from the formula of A-da-da born the generals of mind-dharma (7 previous and 51 mental states) this material, etc. observing the executive officers of those dhammas, should be called "Dharma generals ton".
In terms of the cause of the research, this religion advocates that the universal universe, or all phenomena, is due to the unraveling of consciousness, but there is no other factor in the consciousness which should be called "The only religious consciousness." ”.
So "France General Ton" or "Duy religious method" are also referred to the method that the principle is research, observing the Prime Minister and the cause of all things. The cause of arising is "Awakening".
III. BASIS OF THE FOLLOWING POLICIES, ESTABLISHING TON KNOWLEDGE
Like all other sects, the Duy consciousness is also based on the Buddhist discourse that was founded. Those are the 6 suttas and the following 11 treatises:
The six sutras are:
1. Business Confidential Confidential
2. Kinh Hoa earnest
3. The Tathagata Sutra appears solemn merit
4. Business A Bhikkhu reached ma
5. Kinh Lang strict
6. Kinh Hau serious (or Secret password).
The eleven treatises are:
1. Abhidharma Buddhist monk
2. Luan Duong Luan Luan
3. Mahayana Mahayana solemnity
4. The Law of Volume
5. Comment Mahayana Mahayana
6. Discourse of the Cross
7. Distinguished Treaties Yoga
8. Luan Quan charming coast
9. The Abhidharma Treaty of the Second Decade
10. Intermediate Argument
11. Comment Discussion
The founder of Duy consciousness is the Bodhisattva Bodhisattva. Maitreya after cultivating the Enlightenment, complied with the request of His Immeasurable, said Luan Du the nun.
The two people who have greatly contributed to the development of this religion in India are the brothers of Non-before and Lord The Body. He is based on the "Yoga", making the treatise "Glorious Holy Teaching", and "Mahayana Photography". He The Body has greater merit even more, summarizing the meaning of the Duy consciousness, making the argument "The Knowledge of the Three Decrees". Later, there are ten Great Commentators, who will explain the Shakyamuni Buddha, reciting the ten main treatises on the Shakyamuni.
In the Tang dynasty, Xuanzang traveled from China to India to seek Buddhist teachings and to consult on Buddhism. His forte is Duy consciousness. After returning to China, he collected the quintessence of the above-mentioned 10 sets of treatises, translated into Chinese literature, under the title: "The Duy Thanh methodology", including a total of 10 volumes. Khuy Co, a great disciple of Mr. Huyen Trang, will explain the meaning of the "The Only Commentary Method" made into 60 volumes, under the title "The Complete Technique".
In summary, in India, the person who has the greatest contribution to the promotion of the Shakyamuni Buddha is Sir The Body. And in China, the greatest contributor to the spread of Duy consciousness is Huyen Trang.
In terms of books on the Knowledge of Knowledge, from the past to the present, scholars considered the religious consciousness of the Knowledge, there are three following sets:
1. Mahayana Dharma enlightened discourse  (the author is Mr. The Body). The content of this commentary explains the technical nouns of Duy consciousness, stating 100 dharma and two non-self dishes. If the practitioner does not study this argument first, it is not easy to understand Duy knowledge (this argument has been translated into Vietnamese and we take the title: "Introductory knowledge").
2. The only way of reciting  (also by Sir The Body). In this commentary, The Body uses 30 suttas to explain the main meaning of Duy consciousness. This thesis is divided into four parts:
a) The first part talks about three functional variables
- Function of the first variable is A-back-da (fourth form).
- The second function is the final form of Māna (the seventh consciousness).
- The third variable function is the previous six functions.
b) The second part talks about mental states
- Onion (5 dishes)
- Villa (5 pieces)
- Charity (11 pieces)
- Disturbance of mind (6 pieces)
- Depends on afflictions (20 pieces)
- Uncertain (4 pieces).
c) The third part answers questions
- How to know the scope of arising of consciousness?
- If there is no exterior, then there is samsara and distinctions?
- If there is no external situation, why are they sentient beings?
- If there is only consciousness, why does Buddha say there are three nature?
- If there are three nature, why the Buddha said three dishes without nature?
d) The fourth part talks about the disciple Duy consciousness
From the beginning of the practice of enlightenment until the enlightenment of enlightenment, the practitioner must experience five positions and grades as follows:
- The fourth salary (like the food of the road).
- The Spice (processing attacks).
- Thong Thong (through the way).
- Monks practice (practice practice).
- The End (to the ultimate tu tu tu).
3. Bat formal procedure proceedings  (author is Mr. Huyen Trang). In the content of this volume, Xuanzang uses 12 sermons to recapitulate the meaning of Duy consciousness, consisting of four parts:
a) The first part talks about the first year
b) The second part talks about the sixth consciousness
c) The third part talks about the seventh final
d) The fourth part talks about the eighth final.
Each part has three recitations, the first two say the general of the consciousness, while the practitioner was in the ordinary state; The third chant says the general of all consciousness, when he attains the fruits of Saints.
In summary, these three treatises, who want to study Duy consciousness, cannot be ignored.
IV. CHAIRMAN OF THUY TON TON
The intention of the religious consciousness is to eliminate the desire for attachment, the dharma (to turn the attachment of attachment), by showing sentient beings that all things are dependent on the awakening, and the ultimate goal is bring beings back to true nature (true members). This phenomenal world, because of delusion, we think it is true, but according to the policy of Duy methodology, the universal universe is the only existing consciousness. Like Son Ha, the great landscape in the dream scene appears.
So, if only the sentient beings can see clearly, how the universe of vanity appears, then surely sentient beings will no longer accept the true self and the dharma. Just as when you know that the scene in the dream is caused by the dream mind, there is no more confusion in the dream scene. Without dreaming, that is, awakening. Also, when there is no longer the true self, true dharma, all will see the true nature of the universal universe, (true nature). That is the policy of Duy consciousness.
Briefly speaking, the policy of Duy consciousness is to rule the universal universe to return to the general consciousness, and from the final consciousness to return to the final consciousness.
V. Composition of gender phenomena
(the universal universe of mind and dharma)
CLASSIFICATION BY KNOWLEDGE
Gender phenomena, that is, all things in the universe (including mind and matter), though many cannot be described, but under the perspective of the Duy intellectuals, can be classified into five major categories; These five categories are further divided into 100 components or 100 dharma.
The five major categories are:
1. Tam Vuong  is the "general" of consciousness, belonging to the mind.
2. Consciousness  ie "use" of consciousness, also belongs to the mind.
3. French color  ie "image" of consciousness, belongs to gender identity.
4. Incompatibility,  ie, the "wrong position" of consciousness, is not entirely about the mind nor gender, but includes both parts.
5. Infinite  means "nature" of consciousness, also called "feet as".
The four categories above: mind king, mental state, rupa, incompatibility all belong to "organic property", that is, "general", with birth and death.
The fifth type is the "unconditioned" method, not being eradicated, not creating, ie the "nature" of the dhammas, or feet.
The five major categories above, each divided into several components, have distinct administrative effects, which we need to delve into the following:
1. King of hearts
The king of mind consists of eight dishes, each with its own characteristics, abilities and tasks, as each king owns each country, so it is called the king. The eight parts of consciousness are:
a) Awareness labels
b) Awareness
c) Technique
d) True consciousness
d) Body consciousness
e) Consciousness
g) The final na
h) Awake again
We have five senses, each senses has a special ability, a specific knowledge: when we look at a flower, know that flower is yellow or red, etc. That knowledge belongs to the eye, so called Labels awake. When we listen to the instrument, we know that it is high or low, loud or small, etc. That knowledge belongs to the ear, so it is called Auricular. When we smell something, know whether it smells good or bad, that knowledge belongs to our nose, so it is called Tanh consciousness. When we taste a dish, know it is salty or flat, sour or sweet, that knowledge belongs to the tongue, so called Food Loss. When we touch something, know whether it is hard or soft, hot or cold, that knowledge belongs to the body, so it is called the consciousness.
The five knowing on this: Eye, Auricular, Radical, and Body consciousness, belong to the five external senses so we can accept.
The three know later: Consciousness, Dhamma na, A again aware of the inner, and according to the class, hidden deep inside, more subtle, so difficult to recognize. However, for the Duy theorists, one can also know clearly the direction of the executive,
distinguish the scope of activities, strengths, shortcomings and functions of each.
First, we refer to the sixth consciousness or "Consciousness".
Consciousness has two areas of activity:
- When consciousness consciousness with the previous year, exposed to the scene, then called "Five Sentences of Consciousness", or "Clear willow consciousness". While the eyes see sharpness, the sound of the ears, etc. The book reads: "The heart is not present, the child has no idea, and the children listen to any text" (if they do not pay attention, even though they do not see, they will not listen). On the contrary, when there is subconscious consciousness, listening, etc., are transparent.
- When consciousness works alone, not cooperating with the previous consciousness, it is called "Single consciousness" or "First consciousness". As in the previous year without contact with color, sound, flavor, taste and touch, but in our mind still retain the silhouette (dharma ceiling) of the five ceiling. When we remember, the pentatonic scene appears clearly in the foreground, which is the use of "Head of Consciousness". This sixth consciousness, when calculating, thinking about something, good or evil, or bad, is also more agile than the other forms, so in Duy consciousness says: "The defender, the sin" it is first, but guilty also is at the top).
The sixth consciousness, though a knack for being clever and clever, has a shortcoming that is not always present, but sometimes interrupted, hidden, like during anesthesia, death. , falling asleep, or entering into utopia, etc ... Through these stages, consciousness reappears.
So while consciousness is not appearing, where does it hide?
According to Duy consciousness, then, the sixth consciousness returns to its root, the root consciousness, that is, the seventh consciousness or the final consciousness na. Psychologically, it can also be called subconscious.
This seventh consciousness has two functions:
- Accept ego;
- Making the basis for the sixth consciousness.
It has the function of bringing the external phenomena outside "transmitting" into the consciousness and bringing the internal elements of dharma "ejected" out, so it is called "Conscious transmission". The grasping of this consciousness and of the sixth consciousness are different and gross. When paying attention to conserving the ego, such as when going to war, shooting with the enemy, when fighting, or finding a plan to make a living, the attachment of self belongs to the sixth consciousness, coarse conspicuous. But apart from those times, it's not like we don't accept self. In fact, there is no time that we do not accept the self, the attachment is still permanent in us. But it is silent, deep, hidden, so we don't notice it. Suddenly, something suddenly dangerous to our life suddenly happened, such as suddenly someone was lurking, or we were going to the road where a broken branch was about to fall on our head, etc., in those moments, Although the sixth consciousness did not pay attention to intervening and coping, we still dodged and conserved the self. That is the grasping of the seventh consciousness.
In addition to the aforementioned seven consciousness, there is an eight more subtle, more profound consciousness, which is the A-consciousness again, the Chinese transliteration of the Consciousness, meaning the "hoarded" consciousness.
From small to large, we read a lot of books, exposed to a lot of things, and as time passed by, we thought we had forgotten. Yet no! Whenever I think of it, the nouns and images of the old things clearly appear like a movie coming back before my eyes. Those image nouns, why are they still decades? Of course, there must be an endless storage of materials, so it will not lose! This endless store in Duy consciousness is called Tang Dynasty (container).
In order to make it easier to remember the general and the function of the above eight consciousnesses, the ancients did the verse:
Original:
Fish bowl brother, most fish si
The only one with fish, the spirit of the dark
Five fish subject prefix commercial
The most respected author of the family.
Translate:
Brothers eight uncle a si (seventh consciousness)
Alone very cunning consciousness (sixth consciousness)
The five men at the door worrying about the business (last year)
Own the house, wake again (the eighth consciousness).
2. Mind
Consciousness is the nature of ownership and dependence of the King, as well as the mandarin of the court, under the authority of the king, or the dependents under the authority of the Minister. The mental state has all 51 dharma, divided into six categories as follows:
1. Variations of mind:  Variables are common, Onions are in circulation; Behavior of the Consciousness means that mental states have universal function which circulates throughout the eight consciousnesses (consciousness), with which they are equivalent. The mental activity is composed of five things: contact, action, feeling, perception and thought.
2. The mental state of the mind: the special mind  is separate, the special mental state of mind is the conditions of each other 's predestined relationship, such as the mental state of mind and its own condition; Hue conquers the affinity with the scene in which we observe ... rather than the mental state. The mind-set of the mind-consciousness consists of 5 dhammas: Education, Winning, Mindfulness, Dinh and Hue.
3. Good mental states:  Good mental states are good mental states and have the function of generating good things only. Kindness of mind consists of 11 dharmas: Tin, Tam, Quy, No-greed, No-yard, Im-ignorance, Diligence, Contempt, Unattractive, Social, and Harmless.
4. Basic mental afflictions:  These mental states cause negativity, disorder for beings. These are the defilements that cause the root of disturbing emotions, so they are called the base of defilements. Basic afflictions include six measures are: Join, Yard, Si, Man, Nghi, Ants.
5. Depending on mental afflictions:  These mental states rely on, arising from the mental afflictions on the basis of the mind above, so called Depending negativity. The basic mental afflictions on the root that these mental afflictions are tops. Depending on mental afflictions, there are 50 dharmas, namely: Frustration, Hận, Phú, Brain, Disabled, Xan, Bench, Sanh, Harm, Arrogance, Infinite, Precious, Trying election, Kissing, Disbelief, Entertainment, Release Amitabha, Ambitious, Disquieting, Unrighteous tri.
6. Uncertainty of mind:  Uncertainty is not certain; Uncertain mental states are mental states that are not necessarily good or evil; do not stand on the right side of good or evil; as the aforementioned measures. Uncertain mental consciousness consists of four measures: Hoi, Mien, Tram and Tu.
3. Chromatography
The rupas are the things that can be corrupted and have obstacles. The rupa is the combination of the five senses and the six senses, plus a total of 11 dharmas:
The five bases are: Eye, ear, eye, eye and body.
The six ceilings are: Sac, silence, incense, taste, contact, and dharma.
4. Incompatibility with the law
The dhammas do not belong to materiality nor belong to the mind; but they cannot leave color and mind. For example, "privileged" (to be) is a "reciprocal law enforcement". "Okay" can not be sharp but cannot be mind. But when we say "yes", it means the meaning of "getting" something, like "getting" a silver coin, for example, and there must be a second element of "who". The coin belongs to identity, "who" belongs to the mind. And "being" is not matter and mind, but depends on matter and mind. It is an example for us to meditate on the other dharmas of Incompatibility, such as conceit, birth, cylinder, singularity, cessation, method, speed, etc. including all 24 dhammas.
5. Invisible method
As the above paragraph has said, the law is invisible because no law does not kill, do not create, do not change, away from the vanity General, ie the nature of the law. The immeasurable law, for ordinary people, it is difficult to speak, think and compare. However, in order to have an idea of the Tanh Tanh as, the Duy advocates rely on the form and the name to envision the immutable dhammas. Therefore, that set into the following six immeasurable dhammas:
a) Nowhere without nothing:  Wanting to say the nature as chon, away from the obstacles, like nothingness.
b) Trach-kill immeasurable:  Trach is selected, Removal is eradication, that is, thanks to the correct choice of smuggled wisdom that eradicates the negativity pre-infection, realization of salvation.
c) Non-elimination of immorality:  Above, it is said that thanks to the choice, the wisdom of wisdom that eliminates the pre-infection negativity. But saying that does not mean that the legal nature through the eradication of disturbing emotions will be possible. Dharma nature is inherently available, this ancient capital is pure, no defilement, no birth and death, so called "Africa eliminates immutable". Again the second meaning is due to lack of grace, so the defilements of defilement do not appear; Therefore, the pure immeasurable dharma manifests itself and does not need to be eradicated.
d) Immobility without ceasing:  When having left the defilements, the third pure land, belonging to the Sacla, abandon the sorrows and joys, which often correspond to equanimity, are no longer shaken by a rupa General minister, should call it "Real kill invisible".
đ) Thought to kill immeasurable:  When far away from the negativity in the third realm of the formless gender, the mental states of "thought, feeling" are passed away, feet as they appear, so called "Thought to kill immeasurable Because".
e) Chon as an invisible:  In this law on vi vi envision the virtues of feet as; This sixth dharma is "Chon as Vo Vi", just the name of chon TAM.
In order for the reader to easily remember the 100 methods mentioned above, the ancients did a poem, summarized as follows.
Original:
Sac best decade, the French bowl
The five decades most fish mind
Second of four strains incompatible
Green fish into the legal spread .
Translate:
Sac eleven, legal eight
Fifty-one mental dishes
Twenty-four incompatible dishes
Six dishes without micro, into hundred French.
BECAUSE. METHOD OF COMPLIANCE
As we all know, the universe of the universe is extremely complex, but intellectuals can be classified into 100 categories (encyclopedia). One hundred of these, although different forms of supernormal abilities are different, in the end, they are all consciousness.
So the method of the spiritualist's spiritual practice is how to realize the reasoning of moaning, then merging with that truth. To achieve this goal, the idealist taught to practice the following five disciplines, called "the Five Faculties of the Only Knowledge". With these five dharmas, one goes from gross to subtle, from complex to pure, to finally only see the nature, that is, the true mind.
1. Remove the fake damage, save the real feet  (control damage, real life): Remove the fake damage means that the real accept is there, there is a law created by the "variable design". Save the true foot, ie the nature "y tha start" and "members". In other words, it is easy to understand that in this custom, one has to contemplate and the dharma is not real (broken) to destroy the real attachment. Practitioners again y tha tanh, members are real there (real) to break the mortgage. In the way of this single-minded restaurant, "yes" and "no" treat each other, leaving "variable design" to save "y tha" and "members".
2. Put the flipped back, save the pure  (discharge of net inflation): The fluff here is the general part (internal context); The pure here is the part. Leaving the mess, saving the pure, that is, leaving the "General" of predestined (Department of predestination) and saving the "ant" is the predestined part. This is the second way of thinking about consciousness, taking the mind (energy) and the scene (mind) to treat each other, and the goal is to abandon the scene (discharge of inflation) and only keep the mind (save the mind). The first one is to give up the outside view; This second way of doing things is to abandon the inner state which is part of consciousness.
3. Take the tops back to the root  (photographed by the monkeys): The tops here are meant to talk about the general and part share, and the root here is the evidence itself. The part and the minister is "used" according to the evidence that arises, so called tops; also evidence is the "nature" so called the root. The third way of doing this is to bring "use" and "can" to treat each other, whose goal is to remove the relatively less important part is to use (knowledge), only to retain the basic part that is possible ( proof part).
4. Hide the paralysis to reveal the victory  (hidden show winner): The paralysis is meant to mean here the mental states, the Win is the mind king. The mental state depends on the mind of the king, so-called paralysis, or inferiority; mind king is the wrong part to take initiative, so it is called victory, or better. The fourth way of doing this is to bring 51 mental states to compare with the eight consciousness, which is to eliminate the mental consciousness and reveal the eight consciousness.
5. Abandon the general consciousness to wake up  (control of the nature): The four storey ones on the formula above, though ultimately only retain the mind of the king, but the mind also has the general and the essence. This fifth custom is to bring the general treatment to reason, which is the ultimate goal of giving up the general of consciousness (consciousness) to return to the nature of consciousness (wakefulness), which is also a certificate to enter the Dharma nature. or Chon as (readers want to understand more, see the article  Duy's general outline  of Mr. Thai Hu Shaman).
In addition to the five classes of knowledge of the ancient wisdom we have just mentioned above, there is also a very easy and practical way, suitable for the masses that we often observe and review our interior.
Let us read carefully about the two types of mental affliction and mental consciousness in the consciousness, in order to see clearly their faces, their effects, their characteristics and their identities. Then every day we review in the inner: Every time there appears a mind, we review and observe carefully this mind good or evil (negativity). If the mind is good, we nourish it further, but if the mind is evil, we must hurry and eliminate it. If we know how to rectify the bad mind (cultivate the mind) and cultivate the good nature (cultivate the nature) like that, then we will become a Sage (see the book Mindfulness and Nursing Nature).
VII. THE PRACTICE MUST BE TRAVELED THROUGH THE YEAR OF THE POSITION WHEN TRAVELING
Practitioners of the method of Knowledge, as well as pedestrians, from the birth of the intention to go until the destination, must undergo five stages or five positions as follows:
1. Tu Tu Luong:  That is the time to prepare, like the person who is about to go far away, must prepare food before leaving.
In the Knowledge of the Three Decrees, it is written:
Original:
Nervousness kicked up
Duy bridge is awake
U thu thuong customized
Du eradicated
Means:  From the beginning of the mind until the beginning of the mind, the one who remains, remains, during that time, the two pieces of attachment (ego, attachment) still remain in subjection, the practitioner cannot conquer or kill him yet. deductible.
2. The Family  Price : Hanh retired and attacked tons of almonds, as well as the person who was going to go far away, after having fully prepared luggage, took off the road.
In Duy consciousness, there are three receptions:
Original:
Presently, the money for minor things
The position of Duy formula
Of course possessed
So unconventional
Means:  If the money still finds himself dwelling in wakefulness, no matter how small, then it is still not true to dwell, because there are places to own that.
3. The Consciousness:  Practitioners understand the austerities, as well as the pedestrians, thoroughly research the path that they are about to know, knowing which is good, which is bad, which is dangerous, which is does it etc ..
In Duy consciousness, there are three receptions:
Original:
Weak moment predestined
Unconstrained location
The reign of Duy formula
Second Prime Minister tried
Means:  Never sight of the restaurant and intellectual power are not, then only dwell in the wake of wakefulness, because they have separated from the two defensive pieces.
4. The practitioner:  The practitioner is practicing, as well as the person who has set out and is walking on the path of nature.
In Duy consciousness, there are three receptions:
Unconvincing unsolicited
Export worldly position
Rough discharging of gravity
Convenient evidence transferred y.
Meaning:  This "unsuccessful" realm cannot be thought of; This is the worldly position. Due to being far from being two gross dishes (negativity and mental disturbance), the practitioner witnesses two dishes of transformation (Bodhi and Nirvana).
5. The end: The ultimate taste of enlightenment, that is, the Buddha, as well as the roadman, has completely arrived.
In Duy consciousness, there are three receptions:
Original:
Try infinitely smuggled world
Any private, friendly, often
Bliss, liberation
The Great Name of  France.
Meaning:  This is a realm of contraband, also known as: a) Unrestrained, b) Compassion, c) Often, d) Peace, d) Liberation of the body, e) Mahā-ni, also known as Dharmakaya  (you want to see more clearly, see the book Duy learning, practice V means Duy tam tam chen).
VIII. VERTICAL RESULTS
Practitioners, after having worked hard to cultivate this method of Knowledge, will have many good results as follows:
1. Get four positions:
a) The Office of the Office  of Knowledge : While still alive in delusion, our previous year of consciousness is eyes, ears, eyes, eyes and body, the condition of the five realms is color, sound, flavor, taste and exposure. ; so that we can see colors, hear sounds, smell odors, taste and feel the world around us. But the value and range of activities and uses of the five consciousness are very small and often misleading, fake to make real. Therefore, we create the karma of samsara, spinning and spinning in the six paths. For the Duy consciousness when it has been accomplished, the five consciousness will turn into the mind of "Working mastery", which means that this mind has immense functions such as manifesting the miraculous transformation. three dishes incarnation, to depending on the basis of beings that chemical.
b) Dieu contemplation:  When still in the sixth consciousness only know how to measure and calculate in a small range, the range can not be covered throughout. Therefore, it is often wrong, confused, and entices the body and mouth to do many evil things, creating the karma of samsara. Until the enlightenment was realized, then this sixth consciousness changed into the mind of "observing magic", that is, the observing mind is very miraculous, we can see eternity in the world; In every world, we can see all sentient beings, how many minds can be found in each being, etc. .
c) Equality of mind:  While in delusion, the seventh consciousness accepts the part of the eighth consciousness as self. When accepting the "self" of course knowing only the self is the most important, and every thought, every action, every word is gathered around the self. What is appropriate for the self is love, pampering, nurturing, what is contrary to the self is disdain, rejection, trampling. Therefore, causing so much is injustice, inequality, disturbance, dismay, and destruction of this earthly realm. Until the result of Duy consciousness, this seventh consciousness no longer accepts ego, but only sees himself and him, until all animals are equal. When there is an equal position then we will use the compassionate mind to show all the means, so that according to the root of each species, the chemical level will make sentient beings liberated.
d) Members of the scene:  When still dazed, the seventh accept the self and the defilements of smuggled, defiled, defiled, so the eighth consciousness is not lucid. Until thanks to austerities, the certificate of enlightenment, the eighth consciousness becomes like a large mirror that is cleansed from dust and dust, can reflect all over the ten directions of the world, so it is called "Great Enlightenment Officer" ”.
2. Two positions:
These four positions, though having different divisions, depending on the function of each one, but in the end, may include the following two positions, Basic and Post.
a) Basic position:  That is the physical position, the Buddhas and sentient beings are available. This position is also known as No discrimination.
b) Hau favorable position:  Tri is the utility. After witnessing the Holy fruit, was Basic position and then the new post. This position is also called False position; meaning the position that distinguishes between dharmas due to their generosity is different.
In summary, the final achievement of the Duy consciousness is to convert the mind into four positions: The operative office, the Noble contemplation of the mind, Equality of the mind and the Great Enlightenment officer. Standing on the physical side and use that review, the four positions only include two are: Basic position and Post-favorable position. When these two minds were realized, the enlightened nature, enlightened mind, completes the Buddhahood.
IX. Pragmatic benefits in learning and knowledge
Results obtained as above, practitioners must go through many lifetimes. But let us not find the way to go so far away, so magical, so frustrating. Besides, you do not have to wait until the final harvest to realize the benefits of this practice. Even while studying, this subject has also brought us many practical benefits for the present life.
1. We know ourselves clearly:  Since when have they given us this mind and body that is ours, thinking that we know ourselves so much. But think carefully, we only know little about us. Regarding this body, we can only see the external parts such as the face, nose, hands, feet, etc. .. To know the internal parts, we must study anatomy.
About the mind we are even more ignorant. Sometimes we think we understand our interior very well, very wrong indeed. So in order to know your mind clearly, let's cultivate the mind-consciousness. As mentioned above, Duy methodology has analyzed, divided thoroughly, meticulously our psychology, listed into many categories; Each type has its own name, minister, function, and scope of operation. Learning the Knowledge, we see the interior clearly as a person holding a mirror, see everything on the face. We will know the evil mind to eliminate (cultivate the mind), the good temperament to cultivate (nourish the nature). Therefore, we will become gentle, ethical people.
2. We see our internal government:  The psychology of each newcomer is very complicated; but if we think about it carefully, we see that there is still an organization almost like a federation. First, the eighth consciousness is like a federal president; the other princes as the heads of the states; the mental states Acting as ministers; Prefectural Minds such as provincial governors and district chiefs; Uncertain mental states such as nonpartisan representatives; Compassionate mental states such as incorruptible public servants or devoted public servants for the sake of the people; The mental afflictions such as corrupt sightseeing, or robbery, vulgarity and so on ... and the particles (good, evil, no-sign) are like the whole people in the federation.
With such an internal federation, if we know how to harmonize the internal government apparatus firmly, then of course that federation will be strong, mighty, and progressive civilized. On the contrary, if we do not master the internal administrative apparatus, then the federation will be chaotic, hungry and sooner or later, it will fall into a dark abyss.
The method of learning helps us to see clearly our inner government, to regulate itself for peace and peace.
3. We cultivate a good virtue which is "patience":  Learn the Knowledge, first of all, we learn the virtue of patience. Indeed, the impatient person cannot learn Duy to arrive, because this subject divides psychology meticulously and annoyingly; Each mind has many professional nouns, and is carefully studied about the nature, behavior, general appearance ... Those who do not endure hardship, superficiality, short-tempered, can not succeed on The way to practice enlightenment. So only those who are patient can succeed, or vice versa, if they want to succeed, they must practice the virtue of patience. From ancient times to present, in religion or in real life, those who have achieved great success have relied on their patience and virtue.
4. We maintain a calm, calm attitude:  As the previous paragraphs have clearly stated, everything in this universe is due to awakening, not real certainty. Therefore, when we have good luck, we are not proud, self-conceited, high tribute; When we encounter sadness, like a farewell to being separated, etc.
And also because we know that life is fake, like clouds flying, like breeze, so we are not passionate, greedy and regret, and so we reduce bad karma, quickly be freed.
5. We firmly believe:  Learning the Knowledge, we clearly see its superior value, so the more we strongly believe in our religion, a religion not based on dogma , which is based on empiricism, and immediately draws the inner person as the basis for one's own cultivation.  END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.12/1/2020.
