FIVE FOURTH: MEDITATION THREE-LIVING.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.

A. OPENING
Austerities who want to come to the shore in complete liberation need to cultivate both blessings and wisdom. In the previous four degrees of the hexadecimal that we have learned, only talk about practicing merit. In the last two levels of meditation and wisdom, we will learn about wisdom.
First, let us learn the important and valuable nature of meditation.
B. BACKGROUND
I. DEFINITIONS
what is meditation? Zen transliteration meditation in Sanskrit is na, the old translation is thinking, now scholars translate is Tinh Lu. Practicing Thinking means cultivating by thinking, investigating and thinking about the objects of the mind. To remain calm means to use the mind of the mind to investigate ethical matters.
And the word Dinh transliterated in Sanskrit is samadhi (Samadhi), which means focusing the mind on a single object, not letting the mind scattered. Combining the two words Meditation and Concentration, we have a common definition: Concentrating the mind on a single object that does not scatter, so that the mind is quiet and the mind is strong, to observe and meditate. truth.
II. TYPES OF MEDITATION
Meditation can be called a state of psychology, that state is called the state of Calm. But in sex world, psychology can not have that state, because it is only found in gender identity, and formless gender. More clearly, Zen belongs to Gender and Dinh belongs to genderlessness. In each precepts, Zen and Concentration are divided into four levels from low to high, so there are nouns of the Fourth Jhana and the Fourth Jhana.
These four meditation and the four jhasas, although they are the result of elaborating in the practice of Jhana, or cultivating good roots, are also common to the Buddha Dharma, both the Dharma world, and the Holy One. To be more specific, whether Buddhism or any method, if there is a way, is elaborate, it is possible to reach the Fourth Jhana and the Fourth Jhana; but this is just the Worldly Dharma.
Talking about the Dharma of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Arahants is different. That is the Meditation of the Worldly Dhamma, which cannot be detected within the Precepts, Gender, and Formless World. Want to reach the state of Stillness of the ranks, one must reach the separation of the three realms. And still in the three realms, the mind can only reach the four samadhi.
To obtain the Fourth Jhana and the Fourth Jhana, one must only escape and eradicate defilements in sensuality. But if you want to reach the Dhamma-smuggling dhammas, you must eliminate all the defilements of formlessness.
Before coming to Dinh to be smuggled, it is necessary to meditate, because Zen is the basis of Dinh. Acquire the five eyes and six continents also through Zen. Besides, Zen is used for surveillance and research. If you want to conceive of truth, you must resort to Zen, so Zen is the ultimate method for those who study.
Standing on the aspect of the level of Zen, the scriptures teach as follows:
1. Worldly meditation.  There are two types of meditation: Basic meditation and Pure meditation basics. Basic meditation consists of twelve products, divided into three: four meditation, four and four.
The average person is tired of the chaotic scenes of sex, then practice meditation. Who wants great blessings, tu Tu immeasurably. Those who are bored with the narrow world view don't cultivate from the four. Because these twelve types of Zen can be the basis for worldly goodness, it is called the Basic Meditation. Besides, dwell in the twelve products, Zen practitioners also like the feeling of bliss of Zen, so called Basic meditation.
Basic meditation, divided into two: Luc magic subjects and six characteristics victory. Who has a lot of nature, practice the magic of the Six Paths, whoever has a lot of nature will practice the Sixteen Noble Truths. Those who have the same qualities and qualities are able to cultivate both types. Because one can base on this method of Zen to generate infinite contraband, not just pure smuggled property, as in the Basic Jhana, it is called the Pure Jhana.
However, both types are only worldly meditation, because before the Buddha came into existence, this Zen practice existed.
2. Export worldly meditation.  This meditation is of the supreme position. There are four types of meditation: the Nine Generals, Bat contextual discharge, Bat wins the origin and Cross necessarily in the country. Tu four meditation, although taking the compound as the object of meditation, but can come to the results of sexual separation, arising from smuggling, should be called Export worldly meditation.
3. Export worldly upper meditation. This is the ultimate meditation of all great people. Business Location has about nine major meditation as follows:
- One is "Nature of meditation", which means observing the true nature of the mind without taking external objects.
- The second is "Necessary meditation", with the function of self-discipline and transformation.
- Three is "Nan meditation", the arduous, profound and difficult meditation practice.
- Four is "Necessary meditation", which means that all types of meditation are due to this door (door) that comes from.
- The year is "Compassionate meditation", the Zen course of sentient beings who have good roots and virtues.
- Six is "Necessary meditation", including all the practices of Mahayana.
- Seven is "Except brain meditation", capable of eliminating negativity, suffering for sentient beings.
-Eight is "Try tha tha thac meditation", has the ability to make beings peaceful in the present and the future.
- Nine are "Pure Land Meditation", have the ability to completely eradicate the karma or karma, and witness the Great Bodhicitta Notice. By this Zen subject, the mind is completely pure and no longer see that pure general, so it is called Pure newspaper.
III. THE POWER OF MEDITATION
According to the Bodhisattva conduct, one can practice meditation and achieve the following ten beautiful results:
- One is to remain in the majestic consciousness. The practice of meditation must follow the method of practice, thus, over a long period of time, the five bases are passed away, the right concentration arises, without effort, and still remain in the majestic method.
- Two is to practice compassion. When cultivating meditation, you can keep loving kindness, love sentient beings, and wish them all peace.
- Three is no longer disturbing. Through the power of meditation, the defilements of attachment, hatred and delusion will no longer arise.
- Four is preserving the senses. Not for sharpness, sound, flavor, and emotion.
- The year is fun and pleasure. See Meditation as a more delicious dish than any other food in the world.
- Six is far from being lustful. Once the mind has calmed, craving no longer arises and pre-contaminates it.
- Seven, although evidence is vacuum, but never fell into place accept the kill destruction.
- Eight is open to all the ties binding liberation.
- Nine are enlightenment of immeasurable wisdom and dwell in the realms of the Buddhas.
- Ten is the attainment of mature liberation, to a place where all or karma no longer disturbs.
C. CONCLUSION:
We can summarize the good results of meditation as follows:
The five faculties are free, defilements are eradicated, compassion is expanded, wisdom is shown, and the realm of liberation is displayed before the eyes. A method that has such a valuable, miraculous power, how can we be overlooked?
Hopefully, for the aforementioned practical benefits, Buddhists try to practice this meditation method for quick results.

THE SIXTH: TRI HUE THREE-LIFE
A. OPENING
In Buddhism, two hours of ignorance are always mentioned, because ignorance is the source, the beginning of the suffering of samsara. Buddha used to teach: " The suffering of camels, of horse horses carrying heavy lifetimes, the suffering of rolling in the three realms has not called that suffering. Foolishness does not have false beliefs, does not know the direction, that is true. is suffering ".
He also taught more strongly and decisively: " Si is the root of all sins, Wisdom is the root of all good deeds ." We are Buddhists, we do not want to cause sin to suffer, we just hope to do the blessings to enjoy the result and be liberated. So of course we have to be wise. In the disciplines of wisdom, the wisdom of the Paramita is above all.
B. BACKGROUND
I. DEFINITIONS
What is wisdom? "Tri" transliteration of Sanskrit is Pha na; "Hue" transliteration Sanskrit is Bat elegant. "Mind" means assertiveness; "Hue" means simplified, Chinese Buddhist Dictionary defines the following: "Tri is aware of the Noble Truth and Hue is the Noble Truth."
Can also say: Tri is clear, clear, Hue is a marvelous self-examination. The wisdom of the Paramita is the wisdom that has the ability to enlighten things thoroughly to the point of being unmistakable.
II. TYPES OF HUE
The wisdom as defined above is the wisdom of Buddhism, not the common wisdom, often used in everyday understanding and reasoning in life.
According to Buddhist philosophy, cognitive ability has two types: quantity and proportion.
1. Present amount:  Is the direct perception without mediated inference. The amount is now divided into two:
- Truth is the amount, is the direct perception that true.
- Fear of being present, is the direct perception that is wrong
2. Proportion:  The perception through inference. The ratio also has two things:
- Legs of truth, is the way of understanding by right deduction.
- Scared rate, is the way of understanding by deduction that is wrong.
The amount of status of a mundane woman is very poor and most of it is quantitative. The ratio of ordinary status is even worse and most of it is percentage. Standing in terms of properties, Buddhism divides wisdom into two broad categories: "Basic position" and "Post-favorable position".
1. Basic position:  Basic mind, is the magic that every sentient beings inherently available, but because of the negativity, so it was not released. It is possible to compare the basic mind as a precious metal substance (gold, silver) in a mineral state, lying mixed with rocky soil (defilement, ignorance).
2. Posthumous attainment:  Posthumous attainment, is the wisdom acquired through elaboration of practice such as morality, meditation, etc. Can be compared to posthumous attainment as metal (gold, silver) filtered from minerals out and no longer confused with rocks and dust (negativity, ignorance).
According to Duy consciousness, after reaching the position of Enlightenment, which means having "Post-privileged", the eight consciousness changes into four positions:
- The eighth consciousness, A da has the effect of accepting life and death, reaching the position of smuggling and transforming into the "Great Enlightenment Officer" (bright mind like a big and round mirror, symbolizing the sea as feet).
- The seventh consciousness, Mite na has the effect of accepting the ego, turning into "Equality of Tanh Tanh" (the position of the capacity to perceive the equality and non-self of all things).
- The sixth consciousness, Consciousness is the effect of distinction, turning into "Dieu observing the mind" (position with profound observation capacity).
- The last five consciousness (visual consciousness, atria, t Knowledge, physical consciousness, physical consciousness) transform into "into the mind of work" (the mind with the same omniscient and magical capacity).
III. How to get wisdom?
Wanting to gain wisdom, the Buddha invented many dharma methods. Among many practices, "Literature, Practice, Practice" and "Precepts, Concentration, Wisdom" are the most frequently mentioned and practiced.
Van, Tu, Tu:  Van, Tu, Tu are the three cultivation methods to gain wisdom:
-  Wisdom:  is the wisdom of hearing the sound, seeing the texts of Buddha, or through the sutras that understand the meaning.
- Tu hue:  is the hue by thinking, searching, clearly understanding the meaning, understanding the truth.
- Tu hue:  is hue by practicing experience and entering the truth, but enlightenment and witness the truth.
Literature, tu, tu very closely related to each other, practitioners need to specialize in all three things, can not ignore anything that accomplishes. Listen to the Buddha:
Van Hue, Tu Hue, Tu Hue, the three deficits are not allowed. If listening without thinking, it is like farming without sowing; If thinking without practicing, it is like farming without slapping water, harrowing grass, ultimately no results. Ba Hue is full, the fruit of the three vehicles? "(Sa Di cross world).
- Precepts:  the Buddha's commandments (review of the Tri-la-la-post-speech).
- Concentration:  meditation, keeping the mind free of disturbances, to contemplate the fundamental issues of the religion (review the Meditation on Paramita).
- Hue:  is the projection of Tri, after clearing the negativity and ignorance.
Gender, Dinh and Hue are closely related: Due to the precepts, the body and mind are not disturbed. Because the body and mind are not disturbed, the mind is Concentrated. The mind when fixed, the wisdom shines.
On the contrary, the wisdom that shows the mind is easy to attain;
In a nutshell: Gender, concentration, wisdom, are all interdependently correlated with each other, one increases, the other increases, the other decreases, the other decreases.
IV. FUNCTION OF TRI HUE
As we have seen in the categorization, when wisdom has reached the position of Enlightenment (the eight consciousness changes into four positions), its supernormal abilities and uses are immensely vast and cannot be exhausted. However, in order to have a relatively clear concept, we can raise three main functions of wisdom as follows:
1. End except negativity:  Disturbance is caused by delusion. When wisdom is there, delusion is lost, as when light is emptied, darkness must disappear. Lost delusion then negativity no longer arose.
2. Illuminating things:  Things obscured by ignorance, such as the morning mist covering the landscape, now wisdom shines on things, just like when the sunlight rises, the fog must disappear. , at that time the real Prime Minister, the nature of things is revealed as real.
3. Incarnation of truth:  When ignorance is covered, obscured then we with people, we with objects as separate, different. Now thanks to the wisdom of enlightenment, we can clearly see that the mind is both feet and feet, so we can enter the truth and fully enlightenment.
C. CONCLUSION
The value and function of great wisdom cannot be exhausted. It is the end of the Buddhists. After all, we must try to achieve it.
Before entering Nirvana, the Buddha also urged his disciples to give wisdom as follows:
Wisdom is a fortified boat carrying from the old sea, painful, dead; a great light shining brightly ignorance, a medicine or cure all illnesses, an iron hammer that cuts down the tree of afflictions. who must take the hearing, the thought, the practice that self-interest for their own wisdom . " (Sutras).
We cannot help but remember and practice, and in the six paramitas we have learned in these next three lessons, the purpose is to guide to the sixth level is Wisdom, the last level of enlightenment and Liberation.
May all Buddhists have the wisdom to save themselves and be free to come to the other side for liberation.

SUMMARY OF TRAINING CONTENT
Buddhism is the religion of compassion, but also the path of enlightenment. Compassion belongs to enlightenment, enlightenment belongs to hue. Phuoc and Hue are the two wings that make the eagle a yogi flying straight to the rescue. Therefore, in the business often said: " Phuoc, Hue song tu new tu Chanh Chanh ". Of the six paramitas, alms and patience belong to the cultivators; meditation and wisdom belong to wisdom; while observing the precepts and diligence are two materials that control and promote the practice of complete merit and wisdom.
If we simply and simply compare the six dharmapala dharma with the Prajna boat to take people from the edge of love to the pier, then: Compassion is food, patience is drinking water, diligence is wings sailing and rowing, morality is a rudder, meditation is a compass and wisdom is a torch. All six things are necessary for the sailor to be a practitioner, without one, the sailor will have difficulty in his journey of thousands of miles.
Taking into account another aspect of the value of the six degrees, we will see this: Alms and patience belong to Bi, meditation and wisdom belong to Tri, and morality and diligence belong to Dung . A Buddhist must have all three means of Bi, Tri and Dung in order to go to enlightenment smoothly and quickly.
So expect Buddhists at home as well as renunciations, while learning and practicing the six paramitas, do not underestimate one. In this way, we have enough means and energy to save ourselves and to forgive, to arrive at the ultimate and true place with the meaning of Paramita. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.8/1/2020.
