Lesson 7:  TEN RELIGION OF BUDDHISM IN CHINA (CONTINUED)

I. STARTING UP TON RESERVATION

Religion belongs to Mahayana, worship Venerable Nhut Tathagata (Pi Lo Gia Na) as the lord. Mr. Kim Cang Bodhisattva personally performed the empowerment ceremony, inheriting the miraculous dharma of Venerable Nhut Tathagata, so this religion is called Venerable or Chon language .

Kim Cang Bodhisattva transmission to Long Tho; Mr. Long Tho passed down to Mr. Long Trí; Mr. Long Tri passed on to him the Most Wonderful Tripitaka and Mr. Kim Cang Tri Tripitaka.

At the beginning of the Tang Dynasty, the two Uncles and Kim Cang went to China to spread the secret of the secret religion.

His Excellency commanded Nhat Hanh Zen Master. Nhat Hanh Zen master will like the Japanese Vajra, making the tenets of tantric Buddhism clear in China. And Kim Cang Tri then transmitted the Dharma to him. He later transmitted to the Venerable Hue the Venerable. Hue Hui told Khong Hai to be a Japanese master. Khong Hai later became the tantric ancestor in Japan.

Tantric religion has many factions: a) Tantric Buddhism in China; b) Tantric deity in Japan is often called Dong tien; c) Tantric religion in Tibet is Lama, or Tantric.

Classics of Tantric

Religion relies on the two major sutras as the root is the Great Japanese and Kim Cang Danh. If counting the three sets of sutras: To Tat Dia, Du Ky and Nhac Nhap, then the five sets of sūtras on tantric Buddhism.

Venerable Nhut Tathagata, (or Pi Lot Price Na) is like? As we have seen at the beginning, this worship of Venerable Nhut Tathagata, (or Pi Lo Gia Na) as the preceptor and Vajra Bodhisattva (i.e., the Vajrayana Bodhisattva) by the empowerment method, received receiving the miraculous ordination of Venerable Nhut Tathagata to propagate this religion.

But what is Venerable Nhut Tathagata, or Pi Lo Gia Na?

- As we often hear Buddha has 3 bodies: Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya and Application body.

1. Dharmakaya,  or Self-nature, is the pure Dharma precepts of the Tathagata, making equal medicine for Sambhogakaya and Application itself; The dharmakaya also means that the pure nature is full of merit, true equality of all dhammas.

2. The Sambhogakaya,  or Tho body, is the body of the Tathagata by virtue of spiritual practice through three great lives.

3. Responding to the body,  or Transforming the body, is the body of the Buddhas due to their knowledge, which transforms into countless bodies, according to the physical basis of beings. Like Buddha Shakyamuni is the body of Buddha in this realm of Ta-she. So Dai Nhut Tathagata or Pi Lo Na, is not Shakyamuni Buddha as some people mistakenly believe, but it is the Dharmakaya Buddha.

According to other religions, the Dharmakaya has no form, no sermon, only the Sambhogakaya and the Application body, like the Buddha Shakyamuni, has the form and speaks the dharma.

According to Tantric, there are divided into two types of teachings: Display and Tantricism.

The teachings of the Buddha Body, such as the Buddha Shakyamuni, are based on the basis of each sentient being, that is, the true dharma subjects or the Buddha.

And Tantra is the mysterious, secret disciplines that only the Great Bodhisattvas, thanks to the wise wisdom, will be able to sympathize with and receive the Dharma of the Buddha-body, like the Bodhisattva Kim Cang Bodhisattva, thanks to empowerment but inherited the miraculous method of Venerable Nhut Tathagata or Pi Lo Gia Na.

In short, Tantric belongs to Tantric. The secret lord is the Buddha, the Buddha, the Buddha. And the Patriarch of this religion was the Bodhisattva Kim Cang Bodhisattva, the Bodhisattva who recorded the Great Buddha and Sutta.

II. RELIGION AND BASIC TEACHING

1. Mainland:  Secret religion advocates Continent is the true truth of the universe. The six continents are: earth, water, fire, wind, air, and great. Continental is the original of the nature of being (born), energy saved (saved output).

In the six continents the previous five belongs to things, the last great (consciousness) belongs to the mind. These six agents are each used, without hindrance, gathering each other, making conditions for each other that produces the Dharma.

Continental consists of 3 aspects:

- Universal, that is, the common being of the universe;

- General, ie the appearance of things and sentient beings;

- Use modern, ie language, movements, uses of each thing.

The universe of eternity has nothing but the Great, General, and Great.

The General, General, and Use are we use such split mental power to easily observe; but in fact these three aspects cannot be separated, cannot exist separately. Apart from the Great Ones, the General and Ones cannot also; apart from General, Greatness and Greatness cannot be obtained either. So considering one aspect it is clear that all three.

As we have seen in the previous paragraph: Six universes, mutual photography, and three aspects: The Body, the General, and the Dung cannot be separated, so the universe is universal, despite its vast and varied shapes and sizes. boundless, there is still a very unobtrusive rational mind, the continent is everywhere. That is called reason or feet like. Reason or feet like the essence of general, but without general, feet like or reason can not be praised. Reason and appearance are the two most pure and dynamic aspects of like. In short, there is reason, there is reason.

The nature of the universal universe is also Buddha nature. Thus, Buddha Nature is available in all beings, in all forms.

Want to realize Buddha nature, want to enter feet as, first to observe the general. The general can include in the following four categories, ie four Mandala tea.

2. Four Mandala la la:  Mandala tea means full round, immeasurable vast. Four legal Mandala tea, or called the four great Man, the four general generals, full of essence by the six elements that appear. The four French mandala la la are:

a) Dai Man Tra la:  The broad meaning is the body of sentient beings in the ten dharmas, is the appearance of all dharmas in the universe. The narrow meaning is the solemn appearance of Buddha and the Bodhisattva shown in carved statues, paint, etc.

b) Tam sam gia gia tea la la:  The broad meaning is all the mechanics in the universe, everyday objects of beings, or more broadly the special characteristics of each dharma, mountain, river, plants , etc. The narrow meaning refers to the things that Buddha and Bodhisattva often hold such as lotus flowers, pearls of pearl, willow branches, etc. to represent your personal vows or characteristics of victory in save sentient beings.

c) Phap Man la la:  The broad meaning is all sounds, words, images, names, symbols in the universe. The narrow meaning is for the seed or the proverbs of the Buddha or Bodhisattva. The species here means the letter, the letter representing the nature of Buddha and the Bodhisattva, as the seed of the Buddha, Lord Nhut Tathagata is the letter __ (pronounced A), the seed of the Lord Kim Cang Slapped is the letter __ (read as Lobster). And chon language means Mantra, and the name of Buddha, Bodhisattva and all the texts in the scriptures.

d) Ghost is a tea:  Ghost is a movement to do careers. So the broad meaning of Yeta Mandala is to show all the movements of beings and all things. The narrow meaning is for all the dreadful movements of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to do the causes of birth.

These four Mandala la la coexist at the same time, there was a Mandala tea la, that must be the other three Mandala la la. These four sides of Buddha, Bodhisattva and sentient beings all have. The four sides of Buddha do not leave the four sides of being; the four sides of being don't depart from the four sides of Buddha. Therefore, the business is often called the four sides not apart.

III. METHOD OF COMPLIANCE

Like other religions in Buddhism, the practice of Vajrayana consists of two aspects: Virtue and Reason, or in the words of Venerable Venerable and Venerable.

"General" is all practices such as chanting, making seals, making offerings, making up a forum, etc. All of these practices must follow a certain pattern, and cannot be used separately. .

The "doctrine" is all of the profound, mysterious meanings that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have drawn in their generals to teach us.

A practitioner must study and practice both aspects, without giving up on either side. Not to study the generals while not comprehending the meaning of generals to get it right. Without learning the general, all are just talking. The minister can rely on the scriptures to learn; And the general must have the A-level, ie the missionary of Tantra, transmitted to know.

Apart from the usual practice, the method of density critical practice is adhered  faceplate .

Tantra is a mysterious method of spiritual practice based on body, speech and mind. The three secrets include: Intimate, confidential language (password password) and the secret mind.

As mentioned above, sentient beings and the Tathagata are all made by six great beings, four mandalas are made of generals, no difference. So Tathagata and sentient beings, the general form. As Venerable Nhat Nhut Tathagata has the Three Realms of Dharma, which are intimate, all reputation is confidential language, the vast consciousness all over is confidential. As for sentient beings, the hand-held seal is intimate, the mindfulness of the feet is the secret language, the mind that specializes in the three ghosts (meditation) is the secret mind.

But Buddha and beings are different in purity and infection, enlightenment and delusion, liberation and attachment. So beings who want to be like Buddha, must practice according to the Triple Tantra. Thanks to the hand catching the net that the body, the mouth of chanting that language, the net of speech, the visualization of the Great Tathagata, which suppresses delusion, the karma, is purified. The practice of the Triple Secret can be divided into two major stages.

The first stage is called the  Triple Secret Blessing . During this period, after the practitioner has mastered his body, speech, and mind, his water mind (tranquil mind like still water) is dazzled by the mysterious light of Dai Nhut Tathagata. Gia ”; and the heart of the mind feels and receives that miraculous light, which is "Tri". One side is "Gia", one side is "Tri", the two successive parties should be called the Three Secret Blessings.

The second stage is called the  Tantra . When the period of Blessed Blessed One has matured, the light of Venerable Nhut Tathagata is the light in the mind of the meditator who joins (yogic) in no different way, then called "Tam Mau Du". Coming here is elaborately practicing the right of the Three Secret General achievements.

IV. TOO TU TUAN

Practitioner six when he achieved the three secret properties, smoothly understands the mysterious meaning of the four Mandala la la, then the most elected, the most stereotypes are in accordance with the majesty of the Buddha, benefiting sentient beings automatically However, there are all benefits that do not work. That is formless triangle secret.

To the level of the three secret generals, all movement is all seals, all words are notes and chants, all thoughts are marvelous. Therefore, in the sutta, there is the following saying to visualize people who have witnessed the secret of the three secret generals: "open your mouth and speak your feet to kill the sin; raise their hands and feet, become a secret seal; according to the concept of reciting, marvelous self-accomplishment ”.

That is also the meaning of the four words ‟ie Buddha himself; meaning present life into Buddha.

V. CONCLUSION

The benefits of cultivating Vajrayana, until the ultimate results have the same purpose as the other disciplines; means the three pure karma. The body sat over the note, the hand pressed, so the body did not do the crimes, so that the body was pure (intimate). The mouth recites the mantra, so the mouth doesn't say sinful things, so the karmic speech is pure (confidential language). The mind mantras or visualizes the mantras, so the mind does not think of the sins, so the karma is purified (secret mind). Means:  If any of the three karma is usually pure, then go to the West to stay with Buddha .
