A. OPENING 

The universe and all things do not have to march and transform naturally and absurdly, but follow a common law. That law is the law of cause and effect. This law is not imposed by any one, any society, but by a law of nature silently, quietly, but rightly and extremely strongly.

People do not observe carefully, thoroughly should not see that law. Therefore, they acted indiscriminately, lacking a sense of responsibility for themselves and for those around them. And that is why they suffer, dive forever in the sea of ​​confusion, sin.

On the contrary, the Buddha was a fully enlightened person, having developed the law of cause and effect that governs and governs all things in this universe, so he acted wisely and for his own benefit. and sentient beings.

So we are Buddhists, we need to understand how the law of cause and effect that the Father helped promote, then act in accordance with what He has done, in order to bring true happiness, long durable for yourself and the people around you. 

B. BACKGROUND 

I. DEFINITIONS

"Cause" is the cause, "Cause" is the result. Humanity is the germ. It is a seed, a fruit borne by that germ. Cause is the actuating power, It is the formation of that power. Cause and effect are two successive states. If there is no cause there is no result; if there is no result there is no cause.

II. CHARACTERISTICS OF HUMAN RESULTS

1. How the result is that

If we want oranges, we have to cultivate orange seeds; If we want to have beans, we have to sow seeds. Never can we plant oranges or grow oranges or again. People who learn the piano know how to play, the people who learn the words know the words. In other words, cause and effect are always of the same kind. When people change, their results will also change.

2. A cause can not bear fruit:   Everything in this universe is a combination of many conditions. So there is no one nucleus, it can work on its own, without the help of many others. To say that the rice grain produces rice is simple to understand, but in fact rice cannot produce anything if left alone in the void, lack of air, light of the country. , labor.  
So, when we hear anyone claiming, "Everything is born of a person, or a person can produce all things"; We can be sure that he is not telling the truth.

3. In cause and effect, in result there is cause:   It is in the present cause that already contains the future fruit; it is also in the present fruit that there is the shadow of the past. An object that we call a nucleus is when it has not yet transformed, forming the fruit we desire and wait for. An object we call fruiting, is when it has transformed, forming the state we expect. Every object, therefore, can be called cause or effect: for the past, it is the result, but for the future, it is the cause. Cause and effect continue one after another, covering each other like loops in a chain.

4. Fast and slow growth from cause to effect:   The change from cause to effect, sometimes fast and slow, is not always happening in a uniform time.  
There are causes and effects that occur one after another, successively, the cause has arisen, the result has arisen, as when hitting the drum surface (cause), the drum sound immediately discovers (the result); or when the two positive and negative currents met, the light immediately lit up. Sometimes kernels have already been caused, but the fruit waits for some time to form, such as from sowing the seeds, until harvesting the rice, it takes a period of at least four months.  
Sometimes, the cause and effect are separated by a dozen years, like a child who just takes a book to go to school to become successful, it takes a period of at least ten years.  
It may take several hundred years, or more, for the fruit to appear. For example, from the concept of independence of a country, to achieve that independence, it takes many centuries.  
For the sake of speeding up, in the detection of the fruit, we should not be impatient, but argue that the law of cause and effect is not entirely true, when there are causes which have not yet produced fruit.

III. ANALYSIS OF PRACTICE OF STAFF IN REALITY 

As the aforementioned paragraphs stated, karma governs all the universal universe, without a thing, a thing, an animal or a plant, a matter or a spirit, that is beyond the law of cause and effect. Here, in order to have a clearer idea of ​​the law of cause and effect, let's sequentially analyze the action of cause and effect in all things: 

1. Cause and effect in inanimate objects: The   water burned by the fire is hot, the wind blows the waves into the cold, the freezing is frozen. Long term sunshine is great, heavy rainfall, more wind then storms. 

2. Causality in plants:   Orange seeds produce orange trees and orange trees produce orange. A chili seed produces a chili tree, while a chili tree produces a fruit. In general, sweet fruits produce sweet fruits, sour fruits produce sour fruits, like fruits produce fruit. 

3. Cause and effect in animals:   Birds give birth to eggs, so we call them eggs and wait for them to hatch into fruiting eggs; the bird returned to being a nucleus, giving birth to an egg.  
The animal gives birth, that is the fruit. The beast grows up, returning to multiply and bear fruit. 

4. Cause and effect in people:   - In terms of physical health:  The four great bodies are due to the parents' inheritance of blood and their nurturing circumstances. So the parents and the situation are cause, the adult child is the fruit, and so on and so forth, cause and effect, cause and effect, never end. 

- In terms of spirit:  Past thoughts and behaviors, giving us good or bad emotions, a way of life in the present: past thoughts and actions are causes, personality of spiritual life in the present is the fruit. This temperament and way of life are causes, to create future thoughts and actions to bear fruit. 

To identify this important spiritual part, let us set aside an item, paying special attention to its general operation below. 

IV. STAFF ON SPIRITUAL DIVISION  

1. The cause and effect of bad thoughts and behaviors: 

-  Greed : Seeing one's money, being greedy to produce theft, or killing a human being; beaten or stabbed by the owner, disabled, or imprisoned by the authorities in a medical examination, subjected to torture and suffering.

- The pitch:  People who are too angry, beat their wives and children, destroy houses, kill people without disgusting hands; when all the pain and pain, seeing the wife and children sick, the house dissipated, the law of punishment, suffer many miserable results.

- Infatuation:  People who love lust, willow flower wall, do not know the bad, the left is the cause; make the family shaken, body weakened, wisdom overcast is the result. 

- Doubt:  Throughout life, keep suspecting this and other things, anyone who says anything doesn't believe, whoever does what doesn't follow, that's cause; In the end, I couldn't do anything, until I died, letting go of those empty hands was the fruit. 

- Pride:  Self-superiority, contempt for all people, trampling on the dignity of the people around them, as a cause; to be hated, alienated, to live a lonely, lonely life.

- Tea and alcohol addiction:  Together the money for drinking and drinking is satisfied, when it comes to drunkenness, the disordered cups and chairs, the tilted tables and chairs, sometimes the bullshit kill each other, do many sinful things, must be punished and imprisonment is the fruit. 

- Passion for gambling:  Seeing the money of the person who wants to get back to you, immersed all year round, throughout the month following the gambling card, is the cause; by the end of the latrine, debt dragged, lacking before, after deficit, "cash out" is a result. 

2. Cause and effect of good thoughts and behaviors: 

As we have seen above, how dark thoughts, humiliations, and sufferings bring bad consequences to human beings, beautiful thoughts and behaviors give people bright consequences. like that, glory and joy. 

People without greed, then all are not bound by money, the mind is relaxed. People who are not angry, they can live a peaceful life and a peaceful family; people who are not passionate about sexuality, are respected by their families, wise wisdom, robust bodies; people who are not suspicious, have faith, are enthusiastic in the work, trusted by people around, easy to accomplish in life; People who are not arrogant are welcomed by friends, warmly welcomed, dedicated to help when they encounter a disaster. Those who do not drink or gamble are not so destitute. Every day around us, the scenes of cause and effect, unfolded, just turn to the daily newspaper, read the news to see immediately. 

Generally speaking, mentally as well as materially, what one sows will meet it. The French have a saying: " Every person is the offspring of his industry ".

V. BENEFITS TO BECAUSE US BECAUSE OF UNDERSTANDING AND APPLICATION OF HUMAN LAW. 

1. The law of cause and effect prevents us from superstitions, false beliefs in theocracy: 

The law of cause and effect shows us the reality of things, nothing vague or mysterious. It lifts all the dark, flattering displays of superstition, which are covering things. It also denied the theory that "everything is born of a god, and has the authority to reward and punish all living things". Therefore, people who understand the law of cause and effect will not put their beliefs wrong, will not pray in vain, do not rely on theocracy, do not fear bewilderment. 

2. The law of cause and effect brings trust in people:

When you know your life is created by your karma, you are the workman who built your own life, you are the creator, but who in you believe in yourself? That confidence is an extremely valuable strength, making people dare to act and dare to sacrifice eagerly to do good things. Because of those good deeds, they know they will be precious causes, beautiful results. 

3. The law of cause and effect makes us not depressed, no blame:

People are often depressed, or blame because they have put their beliefs wrong, because they have a habit of relying on others, because they are extroverted. But once you know that you are the main driver, the main cause of all failures or successes, who else is depressed to blame? Knowing that he is so important is to take care of himself, stop sowing bad karma, so as not to reap bad effects, to avoid creating evil to avoid evil. 

BECAUSE. RESOLVED 

1. Some people think that:  Cause and effect is a very righteous and natural law, why are there so many gentle life people who suffer miserable accidents; on the contrary, those who are evil, why still be peaceful? 

A:  As mentioned above, time progresses from cause to effect, sometimes fast and slow, not always the same. There is a cause leading to the day; there is benevolence in this life, in the next generation, it will create fruits and so on. 

So if there are people in the present life who do evil deeds, and are well-being, it is because of their past lives, they created kindness. As for the evil, newly created in this life, the future or the future, they will bear retribution. Like some people this year playboy, do nothing, but still full, thanks to last year they did, have money to save so. As for people who do not play this year, then next year they will suffer from hunger. 

And people of this life are gentle, doing good deeds, and still having accidents and misery, because of their previous lives, they created bad things. The meek from this generation, the next life they will enjoy the fruit. Just like there are people who, despite this year's diligence in farming, are still in short supply, because of the past year. The industrious people this year, next year they will enjoy abundance. Therefore, the ancients said: 

Good and bad, the general public newspaper, 
Only the future data algae hybrid maintenance. (Good or evil deeds have retribution, only the difference will come sooner or later.) 

2. Someone asked:  According to the law of cause and effect, everyone does this: a father makes a sin, the son cannot be replaced; I am guilty, irreplaceable. Why do you see that there are things: father to son must be involved, son to father to be influenced?  
Answer:  In Buddhist scriptures: Karma has two causes: Karma and Industry. 

Karma is the karmic retribution of every sentient being, as I have a lot of education, I know a lot, I eat then I am full, I work hard, I can succeed, I am lazy and I fail. 

Community is the common karma for many sentient beings; live in the same situation. Like the Vietnamese, living on this S-shaped land during the recent Vietnam-France war, though rich, poor, intellectual, and ordinary, were affected by the war; like being born in an advanced country, everyone is relatively entitled to a fuller material life in a semi-open country. Having borne a family, a country or a nation, of course the karma must be related to each other. The book has sentences: 

The best multiplication of blessings, natural multiplication, Enjoy 
life flowering, marigold incense.   
(One blessed person, thousands of people are affected; a flowering tree, all the surrounding trees are fragrant.) 

C. CONCLUSION
