Lesson 3: THE HISTORY OF BUDDHISM FOR FAVORITE BUDDHA (continued)
(From enlightenment to enter Nirvana).  .VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.

A. INTRODUCTION:
In the previous article, we have seen Shakyamuni Buddha because of a great vow, because of the boundless compassion that renunciates seek. Great contentment and compassion is: "Pray the Buddhahood to repay the four deep gratitude, under the three salvation paths."
So after enlightenment, he did not rush into Nirvana, but immediately thought of his mission: To replace the previous Buddhas, continue to transfer enlightenment to all people.
That mission He knew in advance was not easy, because His religion is so profound and magical, that sentient beings are irregular, and for many generations have drowned in delusion, it is difficult to understand. immediately the profound meaning of his teachings. Beings from long-time, old lives, used to live in the darkness of delusion, today surely cannot be dazzled, frightened when exposed to the bright light of wisdom.
But he realized that despite living in darkness, every living being has a Buddha-nature, like a lotus flower, although living in a stinking mud, it still smells of fragrant yellow pistil. He was determined to carry out his mission.
B. BACKGROUND
I. THE VARIETIZATION OF THE VARIOUS AND ATTACHMENTS OF BUDDHISM
The mission of the Buddha's transformation, as we all know, is heavy and difficult. But thanks to the wise intellect, deep compassion, thanks to the radical equality of spirit and the unwavering will of the will, the Buddha fulfilled his mission perfectly. While transforming, He was based on the following three principles:
1. Chemistry according to the radical class.  When he began to go on a mission, his first thought was to go to Deer Park to look for fellow practitioners with him to preach. Those friends were Mr. Kieu-Tran-Nhu, Evil-Foot, Ten-Luc, Ma-Ha-Nam and Bac-De. The first sermon was the Four Noble Truths. These five were all enlightened, and became the first 5 disciples of Buddha. Next, the Buddha always preached for 3 months to 55 Brahmin people, the leader was Mr. Da-Xa, 55 people all applied for refuge in Buddha, and fit 5 people in the group Mr. Kieu-Tran-Nhu into 60 disciples. These 60 disciples, after keeping the precepts, were signed by Buddha to go on missions everywhere.
The Buddha left the Deer Park in the south to come to Uighur-frequency-speaker and surrendered to a very respected ancestor of the Fire Church, Ma-ha Ca-Lettuce and his two younger brothers. Mr. Ca-Lettuce brought all his disciples of 1,250 disciples, taking refuge in Buddha.
Recalling an old appointment with King Qin-ba-la-la, He came to Ma-master-da into King-amnesty to save the king. King Qin-Bà-la-la met him, overjoyed, transmitted the building of Truc Lam Vihara, to invite the Buddha and the monks to stay at the sermon to give birth.
While the Buddha was staying at Truc Lam Vihara, the King of Pure Land heard the news that he had become a Buddha, and sent a messenger to visit Ca-Pi-la-defense. But 9 times 9 messengers went away, not returning. It turned out these people when coming to Truc Lam Vihara to listen to the Buddha's sermon, were enamored of their mission and asked for ordination. The 10th time, Tinh-Sanskrit king sent a loyal servant, Uu-Da-Di, to invite the Buddha to come. On the way from the United Kingdom to return Ca-Pi-la-defense, the Buddha gave the sermon to countless people. Back to Ca-Pi-la-Ve, He stayed for 7 days. Although in such a short time, the Buddha inspired all the Thich lineage and all of them asked to take refuge and a large number asked to become a monk, like him: Nan-Da. , A-Nan-Da, A-Nau-Lau-Da, La-almost-La ...
After returning to visit his family and homeland, the Buddha and his disciples went on a mission. He went to the city of Sarsi, the capital city of Kieu-slap-la, under the dominion of the king of Persia. In this city, there is a great god named Tu-Dat-Da, rich in generosity for the needy and orphaned, so called the title of Head-leveling-unique Head author. He admired the Buddha so he poured out all his gold and silver in the treasury and bought the large garden of Prince Siddhartha to make the Vihara's Buddha and his disciples stay, giving the sermon.
Having heard the news of King Tinh-Phan's severe pain, about to die, the Buddha hurried back to visit his father one last time. Seeing his father sadly on the sick bed, the Buddha preached about "Perhaps impermanence, suffering, no, no-self" to the King. After listening, the king immediately defiled, playful face, recited the Buddha's name, and then passed away smoothly.
After the death of Tinh-Sanskrit, Buddha's foster mother Ma-Ha-Ba-Xa-Ba-De and Da-Du Da-La and many of the women of Thich's family asked permission to be ordained. Since then in Buddhism for the first time monks.
The Buddha and his disciples continued to go on evangelizing, wherever he went, he was admired, believed and many followed the example of the independent and independent chief of the monastery, setting up the lecture hall so that he could give a discourse .
Thus we see the Buddha sequentializing and enrolling his disciples, from those who are well-educated enough to understand his teachings and then expand to  others; I became a monk first and then a monk.
2- Chemistry depending on vehicles.  During the time of the sermon giving birth, sometimes the Buddha also encountered many contradictory scenes caused by the envy of pagans, cults, or jealousy of his relatives. But He always depends on the means to inspire them, and bring them to the righteous path. For example, when he was the female pagan daughter padded false pregnant pregnant to the middle of the ashram to slander him; sometimes He was pursued by the Brahmins who decided to kill Him so that he could contribute the number of thousands of fingers that he had killed to get it, because according to heresy, it was believed that he could do so. fruit; sometimes, the Buddha was De-Ba-Dat-Da, a vicious cousin, plotting to harm the Buddha by releasing the drunk elephant to run to trample the Buddha, or roll big stones from the high mountains to crush the Buddha.
But all these plots are ineffective, because the statute of prestige and wisdom of Buddha envelops Buddha, no evil action can overcome Buddha. He had all the clever and skillful means, turning around easily, converting all adversities to become favorable. And finally those who hate Him return to love Him; His opposers returned to him; heathens become Buddhists. The evidence is: De-Ba-Dat-Da also signed him; Infinite-brain guy also took refuge; drunk elephants are repented; King A-Xa-The also repented and immediately returned to the road.
In short, the Buddha has thousands of means to adapt to all people, all things, and every situation to embellish all those whom he meets on his mission. Not only in real life, but in His church, He also depends on the basis and psychology of each disciple to apply appropriate methods. For example, for Mr. Nan-Da, although his body was ordained, the mind still wanted to travel, to love his friends, He used supernatural powers to take him to heaven to see the beautiful scenes of life, extraordinary fun. , then took him to hell to witness the painful, scary, horrifying punishments so that he could compare two contradictory scenes of life and choose a path for himself.
As for Mr. A-Nan, who learned a lot of listening, but because the karma was still heavy, so he suffered "Ma-old-old", the Buddha brought the profound teaching, the Surangama Sutra, to teach him. Ananda clearly saw the preciousness of the true mind and focused on cultivating, not to follow the scene again.
Seeing so, the Buddha used the means to depend on the conditions, as he was good at medicine depending on medicine, but not necessarily in a fixed way. For the loved ones, the enemies, the smart or the stupid, for the rich and the poor, he has all the dharma for them to be enlightened and take refuge in him.
3 - Chemistry in the spirit of equality.  The spirit of radical equality is the most precious lipstick in the Buddha's teaching, as well as in his soul. From an early age, that spirit has been manifested in gestures to help the needy, the sick animals, as we saw in the previous article.
When enlightened, that spirit of equality manifested even more clearly. He has made immortal sayings, making people today still make a golden mold. As when he asked for the water of one of India's most humble people, who was afraid to pollute Him, He said, "There is no class, in blood and red, in tears and salty. Every person is born with Buddha nature and can become a Buddha. "
In His church, He accepted even the lower class. Like Mr. Uu-Ba-Ly, a disciple of His reputation in terms of precepts, is a lower class of sheep-la-la, working as a burden.
That acquisition made the kings unhappy. It was the king of Persia himself who said, "The Venerable Chí Tôn acquires such vile men into the Sangha like that, not afraid that the stones and stones will be mixed with pearls, losing their value?".
Buddha taught that:
"The humble people who know how to generate bodhicitta, renunciate austerities, attain a noble fruit, are extremely precious, just like a lotus growing in dirty mud but still pure and fragrant."
"A person is born not immediately into Brahmin (upper class) or Fried-da-la (lowest class) but because of his actions, forming Fried-la-la or Ba -la-subjects ".
He strung a needle for the blind, gladly accepted the clay the boy had made to give him, to receive the last meal offered by the poor coal-burning worker.
Because of the equality of such things, the Great Nirvana has praised:
"His Holiness not only preached to nobles like King Silver-sham, but also to poor people like Uzziah; not only the consular life of the wealthy like Mr. Tu-da-da, but also receives the offerings of impoverished people like Mr. Thuan-da; not only allows renunciations of non-greedy members like Mr. Ca-lettuce, but also allows renunciation those with a lot of greed like Mr. Nan-da; not only the sermons for the peaceful people who do not attend life, but also the sermons of Qin-Bà-sa-la while they are busy with water; not only France for young people, but also for the 80-year-old man; not only the Queen-Mech-queen, but also the Lien-Chinese female prostitute. "
II.  THE YEAR OF PERIOD
In summary, in a Buddha's life, depending on the level of people that preached to preach, until he passed away, plus 49 years. His teachings say, later the disciples gathered into five times:
1.The first said Sutra
When the Buddha was newly enlightened, stayed at the Bodhi tree, said the Avatamsaka Sutra 21 days. Clearly stating the true nature, showing the height of the mystery of Buddhism, there are two things in purpose:
a) Leading the Bodhisattvas to the position of Enlightenment and Enlightenment.
b) Stating the ultimate teaching of Tathagata, only Buddha and Buddha will understand it; In addition, the second row of sat listen to blind, as deaf, let alone the pagan, the evil how to understand! The Buddha presented this wonderful transcendental dharma, that he wanted the masses to follow the Mahayana Buddhism in order to be completely final.
2.The Second Buddha said the Sutta
Knowing that: "Want to go far must be near, want to go up from the low place", Germany Thich-Ca y according to the Buddhas that say Dharma. So in the second period, he said the A-year full 12-year-old Sutta, using real examples, showing the truth for the easily acknowledged Hinayana goods, but taking care of self-cultivation and self-improvement.
3.The third time Buddha said Sutta.
Buddhism not only taught enlightenment but also showed the method of enlightenment, that is to encourage from the narrow negative enlightenment of Hinayana (A-la-Han), to progress toward enlightenment. immense positiveness of Mahayana Buddhism. It is the time to say Kinh Phuong Dang full 8 years, leading Hinayana through Mahayana.
4.The fourth time Buddha said the Sūtra.
Until the Buddha saw the inborn nature of beings to be able to rise one more and higher to fully absorb the Mahayana Dharma, he presented the vacuum doctrine of the universe, explaining the true, the formless nature of the dharma. This is the period of saying the Prajna Sutta for 22 years.
5.The fifth time Buddha said the Sutra of the United States and Nirvana.
The turn of a Buddha's life near to fullness, adding that the basis of sentient beings have matured, can shoulder Mahayana Mahayana Mahayana, so he clarified that his nostalgic appearance appeared because a great cause: " Opening enlightenment beings into Buddha's knowledge ". His blessings, long life for the disciples, the future will become Buddha. It is time to speak France and Nirvana for 8 years. Here the task of preaching the birth of his life is full.
Summarizing the 5 lecture sermons, ancient people have made the following verse:
Hoa Nghiêm evening of the eightest furniture of
A Ham, The Twelve Divine Bowls of the
Second Bowl of the  Second Decade of the Bat Nha talks, the
Dharma of Nirvana, plus the eighty years.
TRANSLATION:

Previously said that Nghiem was intimidated one day

Twenty-two years said Bat Nha
Dharma Flower Nirvana plus eight years.

III.  ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION
From the enlightenment under a Bodhi tree to the day of his passing away, over a period of 49 years, Buddha traveled all over vast India, from country to country. Wherever his feet tread, the golden light radiates with glory.
Every day he followed a schedule, a certain program, never distracted, entertained, from young to old, from the rainy season to the dry season. Every day when it was not morning, he left his bed to take a bath, changed his clothes and entered the inn room until the sun came out. After that, he preached to them to increase until noon to rest to get a boy.
In the afternoon, he preached to the followers of the surrounding areas; and then explained the doubts of the monks about the problems he gave in the morning lecture.
Each year, he traveled to the sermon to give birth to a teaching in 9 sunny months; and three months in the summer with heavy rains (according to Indian weather), he stayed in the monastery to retreat.
Over the course of 49 years, the seeds of compassion are diligently spread throughout India. From the North to the South, from the East to the West, from the forest to the plains, nowhere is He coming to, or sending his disciples to replace Him to convert sentient beings. And wherever he and his disciples were, the people, from the king to the people, from the rich to the poor, from the old to the young, from the male to the female, rushed out to receive him, delighted in bathing in light. Wisdom and Water Kindness, which He has watered down. Wherever the golden light came, the heresy and paganism receded, disappearing like clouds, like shadows, vanishing before the rising dawn. His preaching voice has a majestic voice like the roar of a lion, making the animal terrified, like the sound of the tide rising, overwhelming all the sounds of insects and birds.
Daoism from here had deep roots in the vast Indian peninsula, and became the main religion of large and small countries at that time in India. The Buddha, after being enlightened, has forgiven and comes here his enlightenment is complete.
IV. BEFORE IMPORTING-TABLE
1 - Buddha announced that he was about to die.
When enlightenment is full, Buddha is 80 years old. Here, his four great body also follows the law of impermanence that changes, weak old. That year he went into the forest of Sa-la in the land of Cau-ly, about Bala-complaint about 120 miles.
One day he called Ananda, the disciple who was always by his side, and said
, "Ananda! My religion is now full. As my old prayer, I now have all four disciples." : Bhikkhu, Bhikkhu-stilts-ni, Uu-rules-,-She-di. Many disciples can change the legal vehicle, and my religion has spread everywhere. Now we can leave You are gone, my body, according to the law of impermanence, is like a worn-out chariot. What are you doing with this shabby body? Ananda! In three months we will enter Nirvana. "
Believing Buddha to enter Nirvana, spread like a thunderbolt. His disciples went on a mission in distant places, returning home to share with the Enlightenment final separation.
During his last three months, the Buddha did not rest, but continued to evangelize. One day, he went to lecture in a forest, he met a person who worked as a coal burner, Mr. Thuan-Da. He silently accepted the invitation with his followers. Come to the house of Mr. Thuan-Da, he offered a bowl of mushroom porridge, often called wild boar mushroom, because this mushroom is very popular with wild boar.
When the boys were finished, the Buddha and his disciples left him Thuan-Da. A short distance away, he delivered the bowls to Ananda and spread them on a hammock, in the forest of Ta-la trees. . He lay down in the hammock and headed back to the North, his body tilted to the right, his face turned toward the setting sun, his legs crossed.
Upon hearing that he was about to enter Nirvana, many people from around the region came to visit him, among them an old man in his 80's, Tu-bpa-da-la who came to ask for ordained ordination with him. wedding Festival accepted. It was the last disciple in His life.
2- The Buddha speaks the Sutta and the blessings
At that time, his disciples were all present, except Mr. Ca-Lettuce because he had gone to a sermon far away, yet to return. He gathered all his disciples and followers around him and gave one last instruction. His blessing is as follows:
a) Y, His bowl will pass to Mr. Ma-ha Ca-Lettuce.
b) Students must take precepts as teachers.
c) At the top of the sutras, four words must be mentioned:
d) His relics will be divided into three parts:
- Partly for the heavenly palace,
- Partly for dragon bow,
- One share divided to 8 kings in India.
Here are the golden words that He left in the last hour.
- "Hey! You have to light the torch yourself! You take my Dharma as a torch! Follow my Dharma and free yourself! Don't seek liberation in someone else, do not seek relief." Escape somewhere else besides you! .. ".
- "Hey! Don't forget my words because of lust. Everything in life is nothing precious. Only my truth is immovable and immovable. Be diligent in order to liberate, my friends." Very dear person of mine! ".
After thorough instructions finished, He entered and then entered Nirvana. At that time on the full moon day of the second lunar month (according to Chinese history).
The forests of saola poured down their flowers over their bodies, the sky and the sky were overcast, the plants withered and the birds died silent. Everything seemed to sink in the heavy moments of separation.
Practitioners buried his body in a temple and 7 days later, brought his body to Cau-Thi citadel to Thien Quang pagoda and cremation ceremony (cremation ceremony).
Eight great monarchs in India pulled valiant soldiers to attempt to scramble for relics. But Mr. Huong-Tich y according to the will of the Buddha, stood out to negotiate, and thus the division of relics was okay.
C. CONCLUSION
The Buddha entered Nirvana, but the shining example of his life still shines brightly before our eyes. For a lifetime, for 80 years, he never neglected his ultimate goal of turning sentient beings into deep misery. When he was at home, he was in a position of the most blessed, highest position of the people, yet he still did not think about it; when he entered the religion, he was a person in the towering position of the religion, yet he still refused to remain in that position, struggled around the dusty, thorny path to lead sentient beings. on the road to happiness and complete liberation. The mercy of the Buddha is immeasurable, the grace of the Buddha is truly infinite.
1- People should follow the example of Buddha.  His great sacrifice, great compassion, wise mind, and strong will are not only many examples for the Buddhists but also for everyone. If we think of Him as a great man, then it is a great man above all the great men of mankind ever. If we think of Him as a superhuman, then it is a superhuman higher than any other superhuman being. If one conceives his life as a manifestation of Buddha, then it is the most beautiful and the most significant manifestation of all visions. So not only for Buddhists, but for everyone, the Buddha deserves reverence and admiration.
2- Believers should remember the wills of Buddha.
We Buddhists all know that the life of the Buddha is beautiful and noble; The lesson of his life is precious and profound. But if we don't try to study, then no matter how valuable the lesson is, it will be useless. The Buddha, before he passed away, told us one last sentence:
Everything in the world is nothing precious. The body will then disintegrate. Only my  religion is precious. Only the truth of my religion is immutable. Be diligent to liberate! "
Then the most important condition for liberation is  diligence . We should never forget that condition while practicing spiritually. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.3/1/2020.
