Buddha's beads are stored in the temple on an island in the middle of a vast lake.
The boat was used to transport monks and Buddhists to the island, but only designated monks were allowed to enter the temple.
The storage of the rosary here aims to enhance the treasure's appreciation and ensure safety.
The abbot was accompanied by a few young monks who nurtured and lived in a monastery. Monks are looking forward to completing their cultivation process in this peaceful environment. They cultivate themselves with all devotion and devotion. But one day, the abbot told them that Buddha's rosary was stolen.
All were shocked, as they took turns guarding the only door that could enter the temple all day and night, preventing any outsider from entering the temple. The disappearance of Buddha's rosary caused a stir in monks and made them all suspicious.
The abbot told the monks that he would not investigate as long as the person who stole the rosary acknowledged his wrongdoing and if he cherished the rosary he would give it to him. The abbot gave them seven days to think.
The monks had a very good relationship with each other but in those days the atmosphere gradually became more intense. Until the seventh day, no one acknowledged theft.
On the seventh day, the abbot said: “I am very pleased to see all of you believe you are innocent. Everyone who cultivated very well even the disappearance of Buddha's rosary did not affect himself. So you have completed your cultivation and can leave here tomorrow morning. "
To prove their true innocence, the monks packed their belongings the next morning and boarded the boat leaving the temple. All went except a blind monk chanting before the Buddha statue. Other monks saw this and felt relieved, because that meant there was finally someone who admitted to stealing the Buddha's rosary.
After saying goodbye to the other monks, the abbot turned to the blind monk and asked, "Why don't you leave?" Did you steal the rosary? ”.
The blind monk answered, "No, I'm not a thief."
"You said you didn't steal the rosary, so why are you here to bear all the responsibility and let others think you stole the rosary?"
The blind monk replied, "In the past seven days, everyone's suspicion with each other has had a tremendous impact on all of us. That not only hurts you but also hurts others. We need someone to take responsibility so people can feel more comfortable. ”
After hearing this, the abbot took the legendary rosary from his cloak and put it on the blind monk's neck, saying: "The Buddha's bead is still here and I am the only one studying. be responsible ".
