History of Shakyamuni Buddha.
History of Shakyamuni Buddha.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.( WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER ).AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.
Thought Shakyamuni for a great vow, an immeasurable kind of heart rejects all happiness, authority, material comfort to pray for escape. And also with the great heart of that vow, after witnessing the supreme Bodhisattva result, he devoted his time to the constant work of birth. The Blessed One traveled around that ancient Indian country, from the far north at the foot of Mount Hymalaya, to the southernmost side of the Gange River (Ganges).
The Blessed One spent the first few weeks contemplating the profound and profound Dharma which he attained, and enjoyed the Dharma that he blessed. Dharma Sutra, shelf number 153-154, recorded one of the first Buddhist scriptures He uttered during this time:
The sutra is like a triumphant song, describing the glorious victory after a quiet inner struggle. The craftsman symbolizes craving, ignorance, and defilements that are always hidden deep within every human being, now discovered.Wandering how many lives
I find but not meet
The builder of this house
Suffering, must be reborn
Oh! The person doing that house
Now we have seen that you
do not do another house. Your
hand is broken The
pillar of the pillar you have been crushed
My mind is annihilated the
craving for lust
(The translation of Thich Minh Chau)
The Buddha also left the world with a beautiful moral lesson, which is the expression of deep gratitude for the Bodhi tree that sheds rain for him during his time of enlightenment. The Blessed One stood a long way away to worship the great life for a week. Later, where King Asoka (Asoka) erected a memorial tower called Animisalocana Cetiya, it still remains.
The Buddha had thought to the profound liberation doctrine, hard to see, difficult to witness, the noble purity, the supreme reason, the sexual, the selflessness that He had attained; and sentient beings are always deeply absorbed in craving, prejudice, accepting ego with many previous players ... How can people easily accept that doctrine? And then, with the wisdom of enlightened beings, the Blessed One observed the world and found that: "There is a class of sentient beings who are less susceptible to dust, more of the dust; , evil nature, easy to teach, difficult to teach ... As in the blue lotus lake, pink lotus lake, white lotus lake, born underwater, raised under water, does not rise out of the water, is nourished Under water, there are types born in the water, raised in the water, rising out of the water, not wet with water ... "(Central I). And so, with images of lotus stems out of the water, the branches in the middle, the branches deep in the water, etc. have evoked in The Ton about the disagreement of everyone. There are low bases like lotus petals at the bottom of the lake, there are medium bases like the lotus petals on the middle of the water, there are also high faculties that can fully absorb His teachings like the lotus branches that protruded out. out of the water. Although living in karma, disagreement, every sentient being has an enlightened seed, like a lotus flower, living in a foul-smelling mud, still radiates a fragrant aroma.
With three times of petitioning and the initiation of the teaching of upholding the Dharma of Pham Thien, The Blessed One decided to speak out the French drums and began to carry out his mission. He declares to the world, to mankind, to heaven and to all, the path to save suffering and to eliminate suffering, the path to realms of immortality and immortality, the Nirvana realm has been opened: "Immortal gates open, for those who listen ... "(Central I). And the French wheel begins to transport.
I. The first lesson - The Three Jewels were formed - The beginning of the Buddhist Church
After deciding to spread the doctrine of suffering to all beings, the Buddha used the wisdom of observing the world to see who had the opportunity to advance, and he immediately thought of his two old teachers, Alara Kālama Uddaka Ramaputta, but both died not long ago. The Blessed One thought of the five ascetic fellow practitioners who had left him before, who were staying in the Deer Park (Deer Park) - Benares (Baranàsi) and set off to go there.
The first lesson
Here, the first sermon, the sermon on the Four Noble Truths (Four Noble Truths) is clearly shown by the Blessed One. After listening, fake author Kodanna (Kieu Tran Nhu) witnessed the result of Tu Da Hoan. The Buddha received five false religious followers as the first monastic disciples - and so the Three Jewels were formed.
To mark this memorable event, it was later symbolized with a wheel image with two deer on either side. Two deer symbolize the sermon location (Deer Park) and the wheel of Dhamma Cakka is the wheel of dharma - "Falun Gong". The whole title when being lectured is: Cakkappavattana Dhamma, which means Zhuan Falun (turning the wheel of dharma).
Content of Zhuan Falun
The Blessed One begins with the advice that monks should not get into two extremes: one is a passion for worldly pleasures, because it is temporary, transient, mediocre, preventing all spiritual progress; the second extreme is asceticism, which causes mental fatigue, confusion and confusion. And He encouraged them to follow the middle path leading to a life of purity, wisdom, wisdom, ultimate liberation. That is the path of the 8 main path - the Noble Eightfold Path: 1. Right understanding: seeing righteousness, 2. Right thinking: righteous thinking, 3. Right speech: righteousness, 4. Right karma: action righteous action, 5. Right livelihood: living righteousness, 6. Righteous diligence: diligently righteousness, 7. Mindfulness: remember to think righteous, 8. Right concentration: focus on righteous thoughts.
And the four saints were preached by the Buddha, which is the truth about Suffering (Truth), the truth about the cause of Suffering (the Noble Truth), the truth about the cessation of Suffering (the cessation of suffering) and the truth about the path to kill the Noble Truth.
After hearing the Buddha's preaching preaching the second sermon with the title Anttalakkhana Sutta (great selflessness), discussing the doctrine of anatta (no self), that the five aggregates are impermanent, if one escapes craving, then from rebirth, liberated, the five venerable Kodanna, Vappa, Bhaddhiya, Mahànàma and Assaji witnessed Arhat. Now is the month of Vesakha (between April and May 5), at the beginning of the low season. The Church of the Blessed One settled the first rainy season here.
Church of Mr.Yasa (Ya Xa)
Near Benarès, there is the son of a millionaire named Yasa. Bored of the distant and rich life of the insignificant of the world, he went to the Buddha; after listening to the dharma, he was asked to leave home and soon the result of Arhat. Yasa's father on the way to find children also came to Nai hearing garden and asked for refuge. He became the first disciple of the Buddha. At Yasa's house, his mother and wife also took refuge in the Three Jewels. Four close friends of Yasa, Vimala, Subhàhu, Punnaji and Gavampati, as well as more than 50 other friends from near and far families and localities, heard that Yasa was ordained, also bowing to his parents, leaving the family to follow the Buddha's feet. and after a while, they all obtained the fruit.
The monks gave the first lecture
At that time, the Buddha had 60 disciples who were Arhat. He decided to take them everywhere to spread the dharma. Before they left, he encouraged and called on his disciples:
"The monks! Tathagata has been liberated from all worldly attachments and worldly realms. So are you ... Hey bhikkhus, go for the benefit of many people, for the happiness of the majority, because the unicorn is devoted to the world, for the sake of the sake of the happiness of heaven and the people, go, but do not go two people in the same direction, let each person fall, transmit Chief Justice of the Dharma, the monks, the righteous Dharma in the first part, the middle part as well as the last part, both in the mind and the words, declare the life of perfection and purity ... The Tathagata itself go, Tathagata will go towards Uruve is in Sananigàma to propagate the Dharma, spread the banner of goodness, teach the supreme dharma, bring goodness to othersYes, you have completed the mission "(Mahavagga, 19-20).The Buddha did not recommend that everyone should leave family life to become a monk, to become a homeless person, without property or career. A layman can also live a beautiful life that adapts to the Dhamma and attains the Holy Scriptures. Yasa's parents and wife were the first monks to follow the footsteps of the Buddha, all fully progressing on the spirit and accomplishment of the results of the Tu Hoan.
For the first time in the history of the world, the Buddha and the 60 students who witnessed Arhats organized into a group of monks who beg for alms, did not have a certain stay, no other material possessions other than the robe gold covered the body and a bowl to beg for food. In the rain and sun, in the wind and wind, the village or the town, the mountain forest or the moorland have footprints of people preaching morality to save suffering and the happy life and set a good example of pure life. and release. It is a career, the main content of the first Sangha founded by the Buddha and directed.
It can be said that this is the beginning of the Buddhist Church.
II. Wide and wide chemistry
The mission of chemistry - the path of the Buddha's teaching is extremely heavy and difficult, but with deep compassion, a spirit of radical equality and a mighty will, the Blessed One depends on the basis of everyone who uses a variety of educational techniques, such as a king of medicine, to give medicine, has completed the sacred mission perfectly and has set a new way of education. strange in human history.
Touching the three brothers Kassapa (Lettuce Shift) - The god of fire.
After the sixty monks each went in one direction, the Blessed One also headed towards Uruvela. Along the way, in a small forest, the Buddha turned to 30 young people playing with their wives and a woman in the forest.
Near Uruvela (Preeminent Qin Speaker) there are three Kassapa brothers: Uruvela Kassapa, Nadi Kassapa and Gaya Kassapa. His three brothers were great fame in Magadha, especially the eldest brother Uruvela Kassapa; he worshiped the god of fire and claimed that he had witnessed the result of the La Arhat staying overnight and was deliberately arranged for the fire worship room to have a very poisonous and ferocious princess snake, the Buddha took the sacred snake This, in addition to Mr. Uruvela Kassapa's thoughts. Believing that the Buddha himself was the one who witnessed the Holy Scriptures, not himself, the three Kassapa brothers and 1,000 disciples all asked to leave the Buddha.
Later, the Buddha came to Gáa Sirà, not far from Uruvela. It is here that the Blessed One preached the Aditthapariyàya Sutta (the sutra of Fire, with the theme: the world is a building blazing with flame of greed, anger, ignorance, birth, old age, sickness, death, sorrow, suffering. brain and frustration). The monks present all attained Arhat.
When I just escaped from the family to reach the path, the Buddha sometimes lived in Pandavapabbata. King Bimbisàra (Qin Ba Sa La - Binh Sa Vuong) was impressed by the majesty of the majesty and dignified, luxurious, humble, who gave the questioners a background. After learning of the vow of this mighty prince, the king asked him to return to visit the kingdom of Magadha (the masterpiece) ruled by the king, when he witnessed the result.
Remember the old promise, the Blessed One and over 1,000 Arhat disciples from Gàa to Rahiagaha (the Amnesty), the capital of the rich and powerful Magadha kingdom. And here, King Bimbisàra understands the noble teachings immediately and begs for refuge in Tam and the vast monasteries called Veluvanaràma (Truc Lam tinh vi) near the city of Ragagaha. It can be considered as the first monastery to be born, and King Bimbisàra is the first master in the kings. At the quiet monasteries, the Buddha and the masses entered once in 3 consecutive years and the other three, far apart.
Acquiring Sariputta (Loi Phat Xa) and Moggallàna (Section Kien Lien)
Near Ragagaha there is a village named Upatissa, also called Nàlaka, Sariputta - a smart boy - who is in this village. Because he came from the most noble family in the village, he was also called Upatissa.
Together with a close friend in Kolita village called Moggallàna, there is a common perception that all material pleasures are temporary, empty and tasteless. The two boys decided to abandon their families, wandering to find the truth and chanting with Guru Sanjaya, who had many disciples. But due to dissatisfaction with the doctrine of this famous teacher and then many other Taoists, the two parted and vowed to say: If one finds the path of liberation before, it will give the other good.
On an unexpected occasion, Sariputta was deeply moved by the exuberant, calm, sublime demeanor that was going peacefully to educate people at the Rajagaha city of Assaji (Ma Thang, Lecture Thi). Given that this must be the Arahant, or who is on the path to enlightenment, Sariputta has - waiting for the opportunity and immediately bowed, asking: "Dear Respectant! calm, calm, his skin color is so pure, why is he secularized? Who is his guru? What is his doctrine? "
Before the honest, humble questions and the urging of Sariputta's request, Assaji recited the doctrine that he learned in the Blessed One by the verse:
"The dharma by the predestined being. As an intelligent person and the mind has mastered to comprehend the profound truth, although it is only briefly suggested, Sariputta has attained the First Result (Sotàpatti, Tu da completed, Projected) when he heard the first two sentences .
Duyen of that Tathagata has pointed out,
and teaches the method to end,
that is the Dhamma of the Mahasana".
According to the appointment, Sàriputta immediately informed his friends. Moggallàna also testified. Due to their earnest request, the Buddha took them to the Sangha at Veluvana monastery with a simple saying: " Etha, Bhikkhave! " (Come here, monks!). Half a month later, Sariputta witnessed Arhat, hearing the Vedanà Pariggha, which the Buddha preached to Dighnakha. Mr. Moggalàna witnessed that result a week earlier. With great predestined relationship, the Buddha summoned them to increase them and declared them to be the Masters in the Sangha.
From there, they often act on behalf of the Buddha to guide them. This is the time to mark the great development of the Buddhist Church, under the leadership of the Blessed One.
III. The Buddha and his relatives
Or believe the beloved intellectual son has become enlightened and is teaching the famous teachings in Rajagaha, the king Suddhodana is anxious to meet, immediately rushing to many messengers to invite the Buddha to Kapilavatthu. But nine times to leave were nine times the messengers were all seeking to leave home with the Buddha. The tenth envoy, Kàludàyi, who was a close friend of the Buddha when he was Prince, came to hear the dharma as well as renunciation and also witnessed the result as the previous messengers, but Kàludàyi moved to the Buddha's words. request to meet the weak old king.
After 2 months, the Buddha and the general went to Kapilavatthu. Before the director of the Buddha, King Suddhodana bowed his head for the third time. And after the Buddha preached the first sermon, the king witnessed Preliminary results, and achieved the second result (Sakkadagami, Tu da jaw, Nhat Lai) when listening to the next sermon. The third time when he heard the sermon called Dhammapala Jātaka (the Siddhartha Dharma, No. 447), the king attained Anagami (A na jaw, Unexpected). With this lesson, the model Pajapati Gotami has witnessed the result of Sotapana.
Later on the sick bed, King Suddhodana was again visited by the Buddha and lectured for listening. The king after 7 days of enjoying the Dharma and attained Arahantship, passed away in samadhi. That year, Buddha was in his 40s and was settling for the fifth time. Also in this lower Thursday, the Church of Ni was founded. And in the seventh lower, the Buddha took up the heaven of Tusita (Loi Loi) sermon of the gods and Maya queen.
Yasodhara Princess (Giu Da La Leather)
After the Prince left the golden palace, Princess Yasodhara also removed all the jewels, dressed in the golden robes of the monks, and for about 6 years the school was faithful and raised The only child Ràhula came of age.
Listening to his father praising the virtue of the bride-in-law, the Buddha preached the prayer of Candakinnara Jàtaka and added: "It is not only this last life, but in previous lives, the princess also protected, admired and Marine together with Tathagata ".
After King Suddhodana passed away, taking the form of Pajàpati to become monks and nuns, the princess was ordained and attained Arhat after that. In the Nuns, the princess is the most capable god. She entered Nirvana in 78 years old. In the Apadana sutra also recorded the verses she preached.
Boy Rahula (La La La)
Rahula was born on the day when the Prince decided to leave secular. The boy grew up in a fatherless scene, nurtured by his grandfather and mother. When he was seven years old, it was also true on the seventh day of the Buddha's homeland, Ràhula always wrapped tangerines on the feet of Buddha, demanding to have his fortune as told by her mother. The Buddha decided to hand over the "holy treasure" [1] to the boy by accepting him into the Sangha and giving him Sariputta to teach.
It is hard to imagine a boy of seven who can live the noble life of the sergeant ceiling. But novice Rahula is both intelligent and obedient to study. Kinh wrote that every morning this young novice taught very early, peeled a handful of sand tossed and prayed: "I hope that today we will learn as much as sand ...".
One of the famous suttas that Buddha personally taught Rahula is the Ambalatthika Rahulovada Sutta, emphasizing the importance of truthfulness, anti-static methods to eradicate all unwholesome thoughts, words and actions .
At the age of 18, once with the Buddha went begging for alms, noble and dignified posture of the two monks saw it as a cutting-edge statue with a good figure, like the swan of the king who led the animal. on the lake in the grace, like the majestic tiger and the tiger. Both of them had beautiful bodies, both of them noble lineage refused to take the throne to leave. While contemplating The Religion, Rahula came up with the idea of thinking about her beautiful body and Buddha. Knowing that idea, The Buddha said, "N'etam mama (this is not mine); N'eso'ham'asmi (this is not me); Na me so attatà ( this is not my self) "(See Anattalakkhana Sutta, lesson II.)
And after listening to the Bible Cula Rahulova Sutta, Rahula witnessed Arhat. He passed away before Buddha and Sir Sariputta. He is known for his respect for the law. Dear friends call him "Rahula lucky", because his life has two blessings: being the son of Buddha and realizing the truth; as in shelves Theragàthà (Elder Elder), He mentioned that.
Ananda (An Nan)
The son of the Prince Amitodana, the younger brother of King Suddhodana, Ananda is a brother and sister to the Buddha. He was born to bring joy to the royal family, so he was named Ananda (Khanh Hy). Two years after Buddha became a monk, he became a monk with the young men of the Sakya family, Anurudha, Bhaddiya, Bhagu, Kimbala and Devadatta. Before long, he witnessed Preliminary results when he heard the sermon of Venerable Puna Mantàniputta.
The year of the Buddha's 55-year-old Buddha, with 8 petitions he gave, was: 1. The Buddha did not give him robes that gave good faith to Buddha; 2. Do not give him real things but good faith to the Buddha; 3. Allow not to share a home with the Buddha; 4. Do not allow him to follow where the host only asks the Buddha; 5. The Buddha was happy to the place where the benefactor only asked him to come; 6. Happiness allows him to lead people from far away to the Buddha's eyes; 7. Happy for him to ask whenever there is doubt; 8. Happily preaching the sermon that the Buddha preached when He was not present.
Approved by the Buddha with its meaning, and among the masses, he was appointed as the Buddha's attendant for the next 25 years. He made his work very devoted. Kinh records that, at night, Venerable Ananda holds the stick, the torch handle goes around the Buddha's net land 9 times, so that He will not be disturbed.
False religion Ananda has a strange good memory; he remembered not to miss all the teachings of the Buddha, as well as of some of his great disciples, which he heard. When there was a Brahmin asked how many sutras he remembered, the fake Sun answered that it was 82,000 articles of the Buddha and 2,000 of the other false Religions.
The Buddha praised the five virtues of Ton, Ananda is scholarly, excellent memory, steadfast, caring and well-behaved.
It was not after the Buddha entered, Ton asserted that Ananda witnessed Arhat, before a day of the first General Assembly was held, while leaning down. The scriptures record that he is the only Arhat who attains results outside of walking, standing, lying and sitting. Sun Jia died at 120 years old.
IV. Model aunt Maha Pajapati Gotami renunciation - The birth of the Nuns Church
Called Maha Pajapati because the prophets of the time said that she would lead a crowd of people later. Her son is Nandà, a half-brother to Prince Siddhattha, also revered by the Blessed One when the boy is organizing three important ceremonies: marriage, conquest and inauguration of a new palace.
Although proclaiming that women can also witness the four Eucharistic results (Mrs. Maha Pajapati attained Praying, as mentioned before), but the path of living without family, closing in on the framework of teachings and precepts as well as the mission to propagate the real birth rate is very arduous, difficult, with a soft and emotional nature, women are difficult to take on the sacred, lofty and heavy responsibilities of a Tathagata messenger. So after King Suddhodana glaciated, moving the sample even though the three times were asked to leave home, the Buddha still refused to give the reason.
It was not until she and many of the Sakya women and her sisters descended their hair, covered with yellow robes, walked from Kapilavatthu to Vesàli, the arduous road of about 200 kilometers, swollen legs, stubborn sand and dust, came on the monastery the Buddha wept. And it was thanks to the Venerable Ananda on behalf of them to pray to the Blessed One for the fourth time, he only approved the model with the women to live the monastic life, on condition that they had to abide by 8 rules for one person. female in the Sangha. When Ananda recounted 8 things, Mrs. Maha Pajāpati and the others in the delegation all gladly agreed, and so the Nuns Church was established.
When consenting for the Nuns to join the Church. Buddha also noted a great many problems. He said: "Hey Ananda, in any house many women and few men steal it easily. It seems like that, if women live in the law and law of Tathagata, the sacred teaching is difficult. As long as people build dikes on a large lake for water not to overflow, so do we, create a bowl of Dharma for the monks and nuns to comply with for life. "
In any large-scale social organization, we also see that because of respect and protection of the rights of a gender, a particular object that is in the principles of living and working always has its own priorities. for them. The Buddha did not diminish the value of women's goods, but was also the first in the history of humanity to establish a society, an organization, a church for women with full dharma and gender. the law. India is contemporary with many religions, but there is no female union that can live like that.
Shortly thereafter, Bhikkhu ni Maha Pajāpati obtained Arhat. Kinh Therigàthà (Elder Ni shelf) also recorded many names and verses by the monks and nuns who composed the fruit.
V. Mr. Devadatta (The title she reached me) and the opponents
Although tectonic processing happily frees people with an absolute purity and purely non-profit, there is no distinction between old, noble, disrespectful, intellectual lethargic, the Buddha always faced many fierce oppositions on the road to travel. He was harshly criticized, badly treated, cursed and brutally attacked.Opponents are followers of religious systems that advocate heterogeneous rituals, create useless customs, harm society and prevent the progress of the spirit, or those with low ambition. cowardly, selfish. In it, Devadatta is a great example.
He is the Suppabuddha king and Queen Pamità, an aunt of Buddha: Princess Yasodharà is his sister. He was ordained at the same time with Venerable Ananda and the Sakya royal men, though he did not bear any holy fruits, but he was good at divine powers and supported by King Ajatasattu (A Xa The) in all aspects. At the beginning of his ordination, he had such an exemplary and noble life that Sariputta praised his virtue throughout Pajagaha. Later, earthly fame made him rot, becoming a depraved man, an evil person, and wrong views; even so, he has a lot of supporters. When the Buddha's life was high, he asked him to hand over the leadership of the old monks, but the Buddha refused.
He sought to incite the Prince Ajàtasattu (A rebellion) to kill his father, Bimbisāra, to take full control and to conspire to harm Buddha. After that, the gunners hired to kill the Buddha were all turned into disciples.Devadatta himself, by pushing a large rock from the slopes of Gijihakuta (Spirit) to the Buddha immediately when he passed by. Fortunately, the rock hit another rock, broke many pieces and only a piece of it made his feet bloody, and the physician Jìvaka (anatomist of the great Rajgaha, who cared for the Buddha's health. and mass) were immediately present. The unsuccessful plot, Devadatta again gave Nàlàgin evil spirits and drove it straight to the Buddha, but elephants were also compassionate by the Blessed One.
Gradually losing all prestige, the public voiced strongly, King Ajatasattu abandoned, Devadatta turned to a more peaceful attempt. He raised 5 requirements for the activities of the Sangha, with the content: Bhikkhu must live forever in the forest, must live under a tree, wear ragged cloth in the graveyard, live on alms and vegetarianism life The Buddha gave a very free and democratic answer, not forcing an individual to follow it.
At the end of life, there was no one supporter, Devadatta fell into dark days. Lam illnesses are severe, with infinite repentance, he wishes to meet the Buddha in the last time, but no longer has it, just uttering the Buddha's refuge and taking the last breath.
VI. The
dharmapala Anathapindika (lonely level)
The most important patron of the Buddha at the time was Mr. Sudatta, Savatthi. Specializing in social charity, nurturing the people who are lonely, he was given the title of fake author Anathapindika (Solitude - helping and subsidizing lonely, lonely people). ). Once there was a job, he went to Rajagaha city, listening to his brother-in-law preparing the next day to receive the Buddha. The noun Buddha - Buddha (the awakened person) made him feel a strange change in his heart. "Literary period of silence" for a long time, now it is about to be "a miracle", but cannot wait until tomorrow; As if there was an impulse, even late at night, the forest man came to Sitavara to introduce the Buddha and was inspired by it.
With another joking challenge of Prince Jeta (Ky Da), he brought gold coins lined the ground in Jeta's garden. His faith has earned the admiration of Prince Jeta for the Buddha. Then, in conjunction with the trees offered by Jeta, he built the monastery of Jetavana (Ky Vien) to give to the Buddha. It is here, the Blessed One experienced 19 times of low security. Most of the sermons are also formed in this monastery located in this Savatthi, and it is recognized through the "Xa Ve, Ky Tho, Monk ..." (Savatthi country, Jeta's tree and Mr. Anathapindika's garden). The teachings related to the laity were all asked by him. In a discourse about almsgiving, the Buddha taught that, offering food and shelter for monks is to create many merits; but the refuge of the Three Jewels has more merit, and higher is the five precepts. Higher virtue holds the precepts as meditation and compassion. But the supreme merit must be the development of wisdom, to be able to enter chon like, to see the true nature of the dhammas - Vipassana (insight) - (Tang Chi IV).
Also from this fictitious family, the Buddha taught the dharma to divide 7 types of wives in the life of creating happy families of couples. A very sophisticated and practical lesson; a psychological education lesson for both society today and tomorrow.
Ms. Visàkhà
The largest female pilot must mention the first is Ms. Visàkhà, millionaire daughter Dhananjaya and Summanà Devi; Her grandfather is also a millionaire named Mendaka. She built the Venerable Pubbasama, also in Sàvathi (6 settled seasons have taken place here). As a woman who has 5 blissful things: hair, skin, bones, physique and excellent health, she is also a person of good faith, content, language, happiness, clarity in worldly work and within moral spirit Visààà plays an important part in many different areas related to the Sangha activities. Once Buddha taught her to reconcile disagreements among monks and nuns. Sometimes she asked the Buddha to open some forbidden precepts for monks and nuns.
Her father-in-law is the millionaire Migàra, who is a devout believer of Nigantha Nataputta, the main teacher of Jain - the true religion. She encouraged the whole family to take refuge in the Three Jewels and many witnesses. She died when she was 120 years old.
King Pasenadi (Persian)
The king of Bimbisàra as mentioned in the previous section, and the successor son King Ajātasattu, after the good evil conversion became a great dharma protector, an outstanding good faith, was able to support all aspects of the war. to assemble the Tripitaka once again. One more great master in the kings ranks is King Pasenadi, reigning in Kosala, having the capital is Savatthi (Xa Ve). Rajakamara monastery is built by the king to worship and Buddha. Queen Malika, the wife of the king, was a skilled guide to her husband on the moral path, taking refuge in the Three Jewels. She advised the king to consult with the Buddha to understand the meaning of 16 dreams than to kill many lives in order to pray according to the Brahmanic masters.
Samyutta Nikaya (Tuong Ung Kinh) has a whole chapter entitled Kosala Samyutta, which is the Buddha's chapter to the king. In those teachings there are emphasized ideas such as: 1. Evaluating a person is not a simple thing; 2. Women should be considered as important as men: "Itthì hi'pi ekacciyà seyyà" (In women there are people better than men). With Indian society at that time, women were never respected, the Buddha's noble words were a great encouragement for women; 3. Young people should not be underestimated (like the young Prince, the young snake, the small fire and the young monk); all can become important, meaning later; 4. Winning nurturing hatred:

virtue of liberation and compassion are open to everyone, regardless of wealth and social level. A murderer like Angulimala, a female prostitute like Ambapali, can return to the path of the path, as well as the sutra recorded as follows.
Mr. Angulimàla
Named Ahimsaka (innocent person), the son of a Kosala monk, and a prominent and trusted disciple of a famous monk at the famous Taxila Education Center, but because of his jealousy his colleague misunderstood him and forced him to offer 1,000 young fingers to pray.
He became a threat, a shadow of death over Kosala. Afraid of crows eating the fingers they earned, he had to wear them on his neck, so there was a mixture of Angulimàla (garland with fingers). The Buddha was the 1,000th person who intended to kill to round the wreaths that his teachers requested. He dreamed of a horrible murderer when he heard the man trying to chase but could not approach him, saying: "Hey Angulàla, you must stop, and Tathagata has stopped for a long time". He threw a knife of sin and was ordained by that fate. Because of the crime, he became a baptized monk, beating, throwing stones everywhere. For him, the story of the head of the wrist and leg carries many injuries, the blood is full of food. With the mind of repentance and repentance along with the diligent effort of meditation, he attained Arhat then.
Mrs. Ambapàli
The Ambapàli technical case is famous for Vesali's fortunes, which is another example of the indiscriminate attainment that the Blessed One is doing.
On the way to Kusinara to enter Nirvana, Buddha stopped at the mango garden of this Gypsy girl. Upon hearing the news, she immediately invited the Buddha and the masses to go home to be offered, although the Licchavi nobles offered to compensate her with a huge sum of money so they were privileged to do this. She dedicated her heart to the mango garden for great monks, renunciation, and after the diligent processing, she achieved the fruit.
"As a whirlwind blows all the leaves in one place, Duc Cu Dam Dao turns all. Stupid intellectuals, regal - poor, poor - rich, old - teenage, woman - men and wicked people - good people, all and all, Duc Cu Dam both bring into the dharma and see the same, Duc Cu Dam's religion is equal, not discriminating. "There is no praise that speaks out the infinity of compassion, equality in the path of the teacher of the Master.
VII. The Buddha proclaimed to enter Nirvana. The
Buddha was an extraordinary character, however, the body of the five aggregates was also subject to the destruction of the law of impermanence. When he was 80 years old, seeing his physical strength, the path of education became full, the Buddha decided to enter Nirvana in a remote, remote village of Kusinàrà (180 miles from Patna, the capital of Bihar state today). - about 300 kilometers - to the north), not in big cities like Sàvatthi or Rajagaha.
During the last time in Magadha, the Buddha preached to the great master of Ajatavattu to hear the seven conditions of a nation's prosperity, when he consulted The Sun about conquering the Republic of Vajjian. On that occasion, the Buddha also preached 7 elements of the Church's prosperity.
Leaving Ragagaha, the Buddha went to Ambalatthika, and went to Nàlandà, then to Pātaligàma; When the Buddha visited this place, people named the city gate Gotama. From there, the Buddha crossed the Ganges River and headed towards Kotigama to Nàdika village and then went to Vesàli, entering the final Nirvana here. Every place he goes through has the mark of the people.
In this year, the Buddha proclaimed in the midst of increasing: "Hey Ananda, the disciples of the disciples also wish in the Tathagata? Tathagata taught the dharma there is no distinction between esoteric teachings and On the truth, Tathagata never had the grasping hand of a teacher ... "And He taught that one should not think that one must lead the Church and the Church must depend one, each individual must be a church, an embodiment of true Dharma.
He continued: ".... Tathagata is old and weak, almost to the point of departure. As Lan is 80 years old, no other car is too old to need the wires to tie the parts, keep it from leaving ... ". And he again called for the effort of diligence, mindfulness and mindfulness, rejecting all worldly craving, contemplating the Four Mindfulness [2] .... of monks. He added: "You see yourself as your island, yourself as your refuge, should not rely on outside. See the dharma as your island, Dharma as refuge. title, should not rely on outside ". He especially emphasized the importance of personal effort.
Despite the weak age, the Buddha always used every opportunity to teach monks in many different ways.
In Capalà, the Blessed One declared 3 months later to enter Nirvana.
Previously, the Buddha had created an opportunity for Ananda to ask for his more permanent position, but Ananda accidentally ignored it; Now when the Buddha declared so, he immediately pleaded but was rejected.
Before going to Ananda to go to Mahàvana, the Buddha preached to the masses about the impermanence of life when they found them too melancholy.
Summon Increase them around Vesàli, Buddha said the last word and looked at this city for the last time and went to Kusinara. On the way, he stopped many places to turn out the predestined people. In Pava, the blacksmith Cunda (Thuan Da) offered to Buddha the sukasamaddhara (forest mushroom). He happily received and advised him to bury the rest. After this meal, the Buddha suffered from severe dysentery. In the spirit of calmness, he said blessings to reassure and clarify Cunda and departed for Kusinara 6 miles (about 9 km) from Pava, where the emir of the Malla tribe lived.
At the place, between two museums of sala, he lay still, leaning toward his hips, left leg to stretch his right leg, head turned north. The sala is blooming like an offering to the great mourning. People all show their homage. The Buddha taught how to show respect and devotion to the Blessed One is to follow the Dharma, to practice diligently, to be dignified.
Next, he mentioned four relics (the place of birth, success, the first turning of the Dharma and the place of death) in relation to the life of a Buddha. lost.
After giving the pagan monk Subhadda and this is the last disciple, the Blessed One told Ananda to tell the people of the Malla that he would enter Nirvana at the end of the night, as well as telling Ananda not to be busy mind with having to make a glorious respect for the body of Tathagata, but try to be diligent to attain happiness for yourself.
Believed through the teary tears of Venerable Ananda, the people of Malla Kusinara crowded and gathered to kneel beside the Buddha, and the sala to witness the only sacred moment in life and hear the last words. of the Master: "Hey Ananda, do not think that only the noble teachings remain without the masters. The Dharma and the law that we have taught are your masters. Ananda, Increase them if want to be able to leave the minor and minor precepts, after the Tathagata passed away, there is a doubt, a question, a question about what to do with the Dharma of Sangha, to the way, to the method, ask, don't leave it behind This regrets ". The Buddha said that three times, but the whole mass was silent.
And the Venerable Master recommended the final disciples:
"My disciples, Tathagata advises you, compounded beings are impermanent, take effort, continuously diligence".That is the ultimate teaching of the Blessed One.
Then the Lord Buddha silently entered and published meditation. In turn, the second meditation, etc., came to enter and exterminated the life expectancy. He entered and exported the non-ideal non-ideal and went back to enter and export meditation. And when entering and exporting for the second time out of the four meditations, the Buddha entered the Immeasurable Nirvana.
The Buddha's body was taken to Makutabandhana for all to worship, and after 7 days of the cremation ceremony under the organization of Mr. Maha Kassapa. The relics are divided into 8 parts according to the agreement of the meeting by Mr. Maha Kassapa, King Ajàtasattu and Mr. Dona standing and distributing to 8 large and small countries and the Malla people, building a worshiping tower. Mr. Dona asked to worship the jar containing relics when he had just finished burning. The Pipphalirana Maurya came slowly, asking for the ashes of the fire to build the tower and worship.
The shape of Tathagata disappeared from here. The path of Dharma propagation benefits the Buddha's birth for more than 45 years. From the time of enlightenment until the time of entering Nirvana, he constantly served beings with two ways of his own life and teachings. All the way, sometimes going alone, very much when the masses, from villages, forests to high valleys, in poor villages and hamlets to the street of flowers. He was present and brought them all back to the same teaching, the teachings of compassion, freedom, democracy, equality, liberation.
With great sacrifices, great compassion and a strong will of the Buddha, we can celebrate or conceive that He is great on all the great men and superheroes standing on all superheroes. . But the praise, the work of honoring, the respect of the Buddha is the most correct, the most meaningful must be the advice of the Master before his death:
"Hey Ananda, should not respect, pay homage, praise, love Tathagata in such a way. Any monk, monks and nuns, Prosecutors, Prosperous women who live rightly with the Dharma, apply themselves dealing with virtue, acting righteously, it is that person who respects, prostrates, praises, loves Tathagata in the best way ".END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.9/2/2019.
